Great day at sea

It was a great trip from start to finish: the canoe ride around the island and in the caves was a unique experience, liked the Muslim village, the quiet time on the private island, the boat ride itself. We had good weather, the sea was calm, nothing like we expected after reading some of the reviews. Well organized, kept us well hidrated. New was a great guide. Strongly recommend.

Phang Nga is as spectacular as it looks in the photos….

This is a big day of touring - 10 hours round trip - The hour to and from your west Phuket resort should be added. Boat was of good quality and the pick up, transfers and organisation was all first rate and stress free. The beauty of the islands cannot be under estimated and our guide, kayak paddler, and various support workers were all lovely. Highly recommended tour.

James Bond Island

The trip was worth the beautiful scenery. I wished we had been able to paddle our own canoe but some people may enjoy someone else paddling. Vendors on James Bond Island are a bit aggressive.

Beautiful landscape

Beautiful landscape all around the tour. The floating village was nice to see and of course visiting in the "James Bond" island was the high light.

Great experience,well coordinated staff

Pairry the tourguide was professional, and she could speak good English too that helped us a lot. Transfer arrived on time, everything went smoothly. They served us cold water and soft drinks all the time, fresh fruit in the end. Obviously not the company's fault, but the last island is a tourist trap, small area packed with people and boats, overpriced restaurants but need to stay there 1.5 hour... other programs were great.

This trip was well organised our guide Charlie was very informative about each location and the time at each place was good, scenery and photos opps ample, the highlights sea canoe and James bond Island scenery incredible

Disappointed

The scenery was incredible. However, I was not impressed with this company. They offer no information to you about the areas you are visiting. They simply are there to taxi you from one island to the next. The food was sadly not good at the Muslim village. Just overall very disappointed. The sea canoeing was about a 20min stop, so not as long as they make it seem unfortunately. Not the experience I was hoping for & I know there are much better companies out there you would be better off spending your money with!

Amazing tour

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of this tour. Mr Bond our tour guide was incredible. James Bond Island was okay, but the canoe experience was the highlight of our stay in Phuket. The caves and the bay is absolutely stunning and something we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Highly recommended, great full day tour!

Mr. Bond, our tour guide was very informative and very attentive to all of the guests during the entire trip. He spoke decently fluent english and would give us some background history before each stop. A variety of ice cooled drinks including soda and water were freely available on the boat. Overall our favourite tour during our 2 week stay in Thailand.

This was a nice trip. We had a wonderful day the islands where pretty cool. The float trip during the adventure was cool. Fun day but was a full day.

All I can say is WOW

This tour was absolutely amazing! The boat was clean and there were only about 15 people total on the tour with us. We first stopped at a tiny island, which was small but it was good to get a nice swim in. Next, we went to James Bond Island. We had enough time here to do some swimming and buy some souvenirs. It was absolutely beautiful! Next we were off to the village on stilts. The buffet was delicious - there was fried chicken that we couldn't get enough of! The time here was a bit long in my opinion. Not much to do there but walk around. It felt at times like we were walking through people's houses, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise it was very beautiful! Our last stop was to a lagoon where we got on canoes. We were paddled around by a very nice guide. The scenery was unreal! I would absolutely recommend this trip if you are staying in Phuket!

Exciting, Full Value for Money

Going with parents aged over 75 I was sceptical of the trip but the organisers were so caring and ensure we all enjoyed and safety was given priority. The spots were well spaced during the day. care was taken to provide food, snacks and drinks. Bird the guide was too good. Truly glad we went on this tour

Disappointing

Unfortunately the tour was disappointing. Canoeing was fun although much shorter than I thought (it's just 15-30 mins and maybe good to know you just sit there while being driven around). Besides that we visited one tiny island which was extremely crowded, over priced and without much to see in the water when snorkeling. This was all made worse by the fact that we stayed here about 1.5 hours without access to the boat so eventually you could see everyone just trying to hide in the shade and survive it. James Bond island is as expected, super crowded but it would be naive to expect it otherwise. Floating village was nice.

Amazing tour

Guides are very friendly, speak like 3 languages very fluid. The program of the tour is very complete. It is fast but enough to know the locations. All the location are inevitable crowded. The speedboat is confortable, has a bathroom and they provide sodas, water and fruit several times throughout the tour. The canoeing through the caves was the best part.

Highly commercialize tour

This is a mass organized tour and the ticket are sold by individual agents. I bought the package through viatar, they had no communication after my purchase. They did not send me things like detail itinerary, expectation, things to bring along (which I did get from another tour package from another company) Worst of all, they forgot to pick me up at my hotel. When they finally struggle and got me to the pier, we were greeted to nice tour guide that ushered us to buy wet shoes to protect ourselves from sea urchins. Almost all the other group members went on to buy the shoes. Now I understood why they never inform us what to bring along. By the way, I never managed to see a single sea urchin throughout the trip. There were three highlights of the trip. The first stop was an island (I forgot the name) for snorkeling. The islands was totally spoilt. Many stalls were setup to sell drinks and food. Its was badly over crowded with all tour companies bringing tourists there, there must be more than 200 people on a small beach when we arrived. I saw many dead corals on the beach, but I did not manage to see any corals in the water. Second stop was a little better, they brought us to PhangNga. The landscape is beautiful. The highlight was the James bond island, which Roger Moore had one of his 007 movies shot there 40 years ago. The phuket people had fully exploited the hype and commercialize the tour. Hundreds of people were crammed into the island to have a view of James bond island. In my opinion, there are many other islands in PhangNga area that are just as nice. The last highlight was canoeing, the canoes were rafted by guides, each carry two people and let us have a close look at the beautiful rock formation in one of the lsland. I enjoyed this one very much. This was a luxury tour, food and drinks were served through out the trip. Boat ride was smooth, fast and comfortable. Guide was polite and humorous. It was a "comfortable trip". But I would say it is forgettable.

Phang Nga Bay Day Trip

This trip was very good! They are fairly flexible with the order in switch you complete your itinerary. All of the stops were very busy but still good. The food was really good for lunch. The guides were nice and informative. Overall, I would recommend this!

Good trip

I went here in July 18 from patong phuket I went there just to see the islands, the trip to the pier was a long journey about 2 hours depending on traffic, start we went to the view point where you seen part of the bay, then another short drive to the pier to catch the boat, we had lunch on the boat it was passible, then we went to James bond island, we were only allowed half an hour there, to take pictures, then back to the boat, next stop kayaking it was ok but the sea was warm and rough, other than that, I would not go again, it was a long way to go for half an hour to see a little film set. But the scenery was great.and you can always say you been there. Buy this trip from the kiosks on the street not the hotels. This is a true review by Brian Leighton Flint North Wales.

The only reason I didn't give 5...

<p>The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the first 2 islands were crammed with tourists. But the last 2 stops canoeing in sea caves and the secluded beach plus the speed boat ride between the islands themselves more than made up for it. The lunch on the floating island was great and the last 2 stops were two of my all time favorite experiences. The sea caves were incredible and the last beach we had mostly to ourselves. I wish we just skipped the first island snorkeling was no good and just doubled the time on the last beach.</p>

This was quite an amazing...

<p>This was quite an amazing experience. They picked us up at our hotel and transported us to the docks for where we were going to take off from. We only had to wait around 5 to 10 minutes before leaving by speedboat to the first of the islands you would be visiting that day. They did instruct anyone that would get seasick to take motion sickness pills prior to leaving. I would advise if you get seasick this boat ride isn't for you. Depending on how windy it is the day you leave, it could be a very rough ride. Just giving my caution on this! The boat ride was amazing to the first island where we saw amazing scenery and views. First stop was the cave adventure. Just stunning. I wanted to make a comment right here as we lost 1 of the 3 engines on the boat and the crew handled this with great skill. They were able to get us to the next island with a slight delay we were down 1 engine but when we stopped for lunch they had a brand new boat there waiting for us! Very professional staff and handled it amazingly. They were always attentive to our needs as far as comfort and or needing drinks or whatever. They island stops along the way were just amazing to see and well worth the trip! When we eventually made it to James Bond Island ... just words cannot describe the beauty of this island. They gave us plenty of time to take many pictures and explore the island out. The lunch was great as well ... at the city of stilts ... lol They offered us more food and drink if we all wanted more and it was a nice sit down meal with the other patrons on the tour. Was a nice time to socialize and enjoy lunch and the island. They also allowed us plenty of time here to shop and walk around the city here. The final stop was the kayaking adventure where they had boats waiting for us to take us around some of the smaller islands and into some of the caves ... this was another amazing experience and allowed for some more great picture taking! Overall I would highly recommend this tour as it was great picture taking and quite the adventure ... thank you!</p>

Must do Phang Nag Bay Day Trip

<p>Phang Nga Bay tour is the best tour for Phuket. I really enjoyed it. The Speed boat is the only way to travel, it was so much fun and fast.</p> <p>All the stops on this tour are great and fun. We enjoyed all of them. Even the beach at the end was a great way to end the tour.</p> <p>The lunch was nice but not catered for small fussy children. Maybe simple pasta with tomato base sauce. Then they wouldn't have gone hungry.</p> <p>I will do this tour again with speedboat.</p>

<p>This was an unexpectedly well organized trip. Pick up was more than punctual at our hotel at 7:30 a.m. the drive was smooth, nice music and a warm welcome at the dock. Nice crew.<br/> The ride was fast and bumpy - as to be expected in the monsun season. It was a stormy day and the sea was rather wavy. Pretty sure that a bigger part of the guest were not enjoying themselves as I was. Well... if you book on a speedboat, don't expect a super smooth and slow ride. There may be bumps, there may be splashes of water. <br/> Also, if you are not able to step on a bench by yourself due to age or other reasons perhaps this ride is not for you. <br/> As for the program, there are several stops: some canooing, visiting markets, a floating village - everything was great! <br/> My GF and I had an amazing day, I can absolutely recommend this trip!</p>

<p>This has been by far the best tour organized. I am greatly thankful to Viator and local Tour East Thiland for making our experience amazing. Hotel Pick Up and drop was on time and nicely coordinated. James Bond Island was worth watching. Lunch was again well balanced and we liked it. The staff at our boat was polite and helpful. Light refreshment are provided in boat. Great scenic experience and I highly recommend this tour.</p>

<p>On the particular day that our tour was scheduled it was raining and my wife and I were extremely close to canceling our tour with the full understanding that we wouldn't get a refund. Let me tell you I'm GLAD we did not cancel. Our driver that picked us up from our hotel was very nice. We had a whole van to ourselves for the entire ride from the hotel to the pier 45mins. I initially thought the empty van for the entire ride was an indication that others might have cancelled due to the weather. After arriving at the pier we quickly realized that we were not the only ones and luckily the rain slowed enough to the point where it was safe enough to go out on the water. There were approximately 16 other nice people that joined us for this particular tour. Staff that met us at the pier and that traveled with us throughout the day were excellent. The highlight of the entire tour was the canoe portion and the portion where you walk through a cave I'm pretty sure this is not the correct descriptor in waist deep water. The final destination for the walking portion is absolutely gorgeous. The stop at the floating village was also fantastic where we ate lunch delicious food by the way. The beach stops were also enjoyable but they didn't compare to the canoe, cave and village stops. If you are looking for an exceptional experience while in Phuket, this tour will not disappoint by any means. Fantastic Day Trip!! Highly recommended!!</p>

<p>Overall, my family and I really enjoyed this experience. I will share that there was a mix up in understanding what time the company was to come and pick our family up from the hotel, arriving much earlier than what was noted in Viator. After speaking with the manager we were able to reschedule to another day and enjoy the trip. The bus ride to and from the drop off point was very long and others who were not participating in the experience were picked up both going and returning to our hotel. Other than these logistics, the trip itself was wonderful! We went to three islands and had plenty of time to take pictures, enjoy the sights and walk around. I would advise that you wear swim shoes as they were really handy for the first island stop. The canoe ride at the second island was my favorite! My son and I were in one boat and my husband and daughter were in the other. The guides were very mindful to keep our family near to one another so we could share in the experience together, but also enjoy it separately. They also didn't talk the whole time while canoeing so it was quite relaxing. The final island stop was enjoyable because you could just rest, get drinks and/or food or play in the water. The only problem I had is all the other boats that were touring had stopped at the island at the same time we did, so it was slightly crowded and there were few seats only because a large corporate group was scheduled to come in soon. We arrived back at the drop off point at the designated time and then boarded the bus to our hotel. Of course I shared earlier about the driver of our bus picking up people along the way and going way out of the way to return us to our hotel-1 hour more! This was very irritating. But, overall the trip was wonderful and we would do it again making sure we were clear on all of the arrangements for pick up, drop off and transporting to and from the hotel.</p>

<p>while some of the locations included in this tour are amazing, there is an atmosphere of a tourist factory to it. Some of the sites are overcrowded to a point you loose the sight of beauty of the island. the speedboat wasn't the largest one we saw from other companies and seating wasn't comfortable particularly with not-too-easy ride between the islands. <br/> Unfortunately, Im not sure how you can do better. This area is an amazing place and perhaps limiting number of boats per island etc will provide a better experience</p>
