Muay Thai Boxing at Patong Boxing Stadium

Amazing!!

Had an amazing time! The fighters were phenomenal. Some people are put off by the kids fighting but I took taekwondo when I was young so I had no problem with it. The ring side seats are definitely worth it and you get a free T-shirt upon arrival. It is pretty hot in the stadium so I suggest bringing a hand fan. Made all the difference.

We had THE best time and had THE best service from the company. My husband conducted the business over What's App and their responsiveness and all the information was wonderful. We had a family of 12 so our total ticket price was significant and we were slightly worried about paying cash the morning of the event but all the reviews were so positive, we did so. They came to our hotel to get payment which was very convenient. We went into Patong for dinner that evening and forgot our tickets at the hotel (40 minutes away) and so contacted the box office to see if they were able to accommodate us somehow and they did - by arriving just a few minutes earlier at the box office and we were given entry. This was SO appreciated and we offered to give them extra cash to allow this to happen but they wouldnt hear of it. The customer service was amazing. The boxing matches themselves were very entertaining and we had our grandchildren there ages 9-16. Highly recommend!!

Inspiring stuff!

This was quite a spiritual experience. I had never watched professional hand-to-hand combat before and this was an eye opener. The agility and the reflexes, the fitness, the ability to take blows and inflict pain; all quite new and inspiring. Use of all limbs, viz. arms, elbows, legs, feet, knees is permitted and the environment is like a pressure cooker. There were even a couple of kids' matches which made me feel uncomfortable actually.

Buy your tickets over there not on trip advisor or viator!

So going to Muy Thai is a must when you go to Thailand! The fights were almost all really good. There were men's women's and kids fights!. My only complaint is DO NOT BOOK THROUGH TRIP ADVISOR OR VIATOR! I was luckily able to cancel after putting up a fight for non refundable tickets. You can buy tickets at any of the tour kiosks, which you find every 20 feet! I paid about 35$ for bleacher seats. Ringside would've been about 41$ and they were charging 65$ on here! ANY seats in the arean was a good seat. The ringside seats are not worth it in my opinion but for a couple of extra bucks, you will obviously be closer and have a cushioned seat. Anyway, definitely go to the fights but buy your tickets there!

It was my first time watching a boxing match and I will watch it again on my next trip

We watched 8 fights, the atmosphere was electric. This is a tourist hotspot but the experience is definitely worth it. We saw 4 Knock outs. A great atmosphere and perfect seats. We arrived 40 minutes early in order to be placed near the entrance of the fighters and to have a unique view of the ring. Come well in advance because 20 minutes before the stadium is full. I highly recommend this experience.

Took our money

We gave more than enough notice that we were unable to make it to the fights due to a scheduling conflict. This company refused to give us our $187 back, they just kept it. Terrible

Inaccurate package description; Transfer not covered.

The event itself was well worth it; went with our young adult - aged family. It was a true glimpse into the Thai national sport! The young child matches are quite shocking if not prepared but I researched ahead and prepared the family. (Several matches ranging from age 8-18). The setting is intimate so there's not a bad seat in the house, as they say. The confusion with this event was with the transfer. In the end, transfer was not covered by this operator so beware. Initial booking said transfer is covered. When I specified pickup address 5 miles away in Kamala Beach, was told transfer was limited to Patong. We then decided to have dinner at a well known Patong restaurant prior to match and updated pickup location to the Patong restaurant address and were told that the included transfer was limited to a Patong hotel... huh? The event description should be updated but, in the meantime, just assume you need to use Grab... Getting a Grab to/from location wasn't an issue but leads me to wonder what the value of booking these tickets as a Viator excursion when they can be purchased online from the boxing arena... I gave 3 stars due to confusion over Transfer coverage and the fact that the child boxing age for some of the matches isn't for everyone (ages 8-18)...

Night of Muay Thai at Patong Boxing Stadium

This was a fun experience that showcased the amazing culture and national sport of Thailand. The stadium is pretty intimate and if you get ring side seats, you can hear every thud and wack as fighters check kicks.

Ok. But not great.

As a family of four (with 2 teenage boys), we were very excited about our visit to the Patong stadium for the boxing. I wanted to book Mutai in Bangkok but unfortunately none of the main stadiums have live events on Monday’s and Tuesday’s, so I had settle for Patong. I have to say it was a bit disappointing. All very touristy. Not sure there were many Thai’s in the crowd. A totally different experience to Bangkok I should think. All in all, fine for a bit of fun just don’t expect a particularly authentic experience.

Oh-Hoo DO NOT TRUST

Oh-Hoo TERRIBLE. All guarantees were false. Paid $200AUD (3 months prior to match) and couldn’t even get a seat. The “free shirt” guarantee is given to everyone as a way to see where you can sit/stand. No communication when I contacted. Best buying when in Phuket from a store/show early and buy on the day.

Great fights at a great price

Cool exp and unlike the fights we saw in Phuket these were real. We got VIP and the AC and free beer made it worth it. Cool experience.

Brilliant night

Brilliant night at the Muay Thai last night ,fantastic action and commitment from all of the fighters ,a couple of the bouts were mismatched though with an obvious weight difference between the opponents,highly recommended this for excitement and action

Excellent entertainment

Ringside seats so close you’ll get the sweat of the boxers on you! Excellent quality fights, make sure you take cash for snacks & drinks they don’t accept card.

Fun night but cheaper if you buy on streets

Great night at the boxing, easy ticket use, free T-Shirt. They bring a drinks menu around and keep filling you up as you need along the way with reasonable prices. Decided to buy on here but didn’t realise it was US dollars so it ended up being extremely expensive. Recommended buying off the street for a more reasonable price. Would recommend everyone to go to the boxing though at least once.

First Muay Thai experience

Good experience , well organised , with national and internationsl fighters. 8 fights , some of excellent quality.

Do not book this experience!!!

We did not get to experience a Muay Thai fight as it was cancelled without any notification from I Asia the organisers to us. Instead we arrived at the event in Patong only to be told that this event has been cancelled, and the only email we received was to let us know where the meeting point would be for this event. Not happy with this, and still trying to get a refund.

Great night of fighting

Get ring side for comfortable chairs, drinks at your seat and close to the action. Genuine fights, some big hits and a knock out.

Fights were great. Ringside seats were awesome. Comfortable and super close. Beer was cheap and everything is well organised. It’s fun for the family. It’s not all about toxic masculinity.

Good Night

First timers at Muay Thai Boxing. We had ring side seats,with a great view of the ring next to where the boxers come out. They start with children fighters at age 8 then to adults. Was a great night and check in was very well organised. Also received a t shirt each Drinks are also served from your seat.

Came here in a group of three couples just for the experience and left but disappointed. Saw some great fights and even better KO’s. Would defo recommend to others

I had a great time. Ring side seats are comfortable. There are fans inside. I found it warm but bearable. A couple more fans wouldn't hurt.

Awesome live fight

It was so nice to see an actual Thai fight while we were in Thailand, it was my wife's first live fight and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Definitely worth experiencing

As a UFC fan i really wanted to see authentic Muay Thai boxing and it did not disappoint - the ambience and atmosphere was genuinely authentic and I felt like I was in a film - the respect the fighters gave to the ring including rituals, the music and the actual fighting was incredible and really got the audience involved - tips is not to purchase the VIP seats as the difference between the standard tickets and the VIP seats is a matter of feet difference and the standard seating is more elevated and can provide better viewing also we paid at the door cheaper and also still received the free shirts

First time I’ve used...

First time I’ve used Viator. Got to the stadium showed my confirmation ticket was waiting. Collected my free T-shirt and was shown to my seat. There’s a drinks service to your seat and 8 fights on an average night. Great atmosphere a must if you like contact sports

Fight Night in Phuket

This was awesome! Eight exciting fights with beer and popcorn, such a fun sporting event! The fighters were Thai and from different countries. The environment was filled with great energy and people from many nations.

Came over from Vietnam with the wife We both wanted to check out a muay Thai fight. Worth every penny we spend we both had a blast and these are hard-hitting legit fights. We spent a couple extra bucks and got the ringside seats which is awesome They have service that brings you drinks and snacks directly to your seat. Very clean facility and friendly staff.

You see Muay Thai, you see Thailand 😀

Must visit if you are in Thailand/Phuket. The matches are genuine. The fighters are really good and they come from all countries. Try and reach early if you have taken stadium tickets and get the centre seats. Seats from the sides don't give a good view as the view gets blocked by the pillars. Ring side tickets just give a close view from the ring that's it.

Consider Booking After You Arrive

Overall a fun once-in-a-lifetime experience so see Muay Thai in Thailand! While booking ahead was great for peace of mind, we realize that we would have been able to save money by booking after we arrived--you can't miss the advertisements if you wanted to. There was also a tremendous amount of miscommunication about transit. Based on the Viator listing we were under the impression that hotel transfer was NOT included. Cut to the hotel staff banging on our door saying that they were there to pick us up very early. We hopped in the van and when we got to the place, they were demanding payment (even though we booked and paid ahead on Viator). It all got sorted out, but definitely felt a little chaotic and unorganized. The venue and matches are fun and intimate. We felt uncomfortable watching 12- and 13-year-olds kick each other in the head, but once the adult fighters came on, it was entertaining.

Unique experience

The experience was very good, we had lots of fun it was a different and unique experience. The music, the ambiance, the people all in all was fun and worth to see.

Great and well organised

Well organised easy trip. The transport to and from the hotel made it easy for us to attended the fights and enjoy the night. The driver got us there early so we could enjoy a drink and find our seats before the crowd came in. Staff were very pleasant and offered us drinks during the fights too. Small arena which made any seat a good view. We would definitely recommend this company.

Great Time

It was so cool to see fighters from all over the world pay their respects to each other and the sport. Fun, lively crowd! Rink was small so all seats offer a great view. Drinks were cheap and the rink is just a short walk from the beach and downtown area.

Pretty good, but amateurs

Amateurs for the most (all) part. Many of our matches seemed really ridiculously unfairly matched with unsurprising, quick first round 1-punch TKOs. Feel like we are paying WAY more than the ticket price actually cost. Wish they would've been more clear about where and who would be picking us up after the matches.

Must see if you’re in Patong!

Myself and my partner booked and went to this last night. Great atmosphere, cheap drinks! We booked the ringside seats which were comfy and were in a really good spot but as the stadium is small you could get the general seating and have a great view. The fights were brutal and really good to watch. Toilets were clean which is a big thing for me! Also there are plenty of fans around the stadium so it doesn’t get hot in there. We had someone pick us up and drop us back to our hotel which was good because I think we would have struggled to find it!

Thrilling evening of Boxing!

Great experience and the VIP seating was right in on the action at the ring. All the fighters really put on a show, and the younger fighters were especially impressive. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. We booked with I Asia Thailand after our arrival transfer and both services were excellent and great value

Essential Thai Experience

This was easily the highlight of our Phuket trip! It's an intimate stadium with a great atmosphere. The fighting is real but the Thai fighters of all ages smile and are very light hearted with one another between rounds. I was worried the age range would be morally questionable but the vibe is not exploitative or excessively violent. You're essentially paying for the transfer and ticket packaged together here which makes the night extremely smooth. The VIP and ringside seating is all in the same area. 5 rows of recliner seating with the front three being VIP and back two being ringside. The biggest difference is that theres a lot more blood and sweat spray for the VIP as it starts right up against ringside. Both options give you a shirt included. General admission seems fine in wooden bleachers.

Es war ein sehr lustiger Abend, ich kann es nur empfehlen.. wir haben ca. 50 Euro bezahlt und es ging etwas mehr als 3 Stunden. Wer locker und cool drauf ist, kann eine Menge Menge Spaß da haben!! Zusätzlich sieht man aber auch sehr viel traditionelles vor jedem Kampf, womit wir überhaupt nicht gerechnet haben!! Wer in Thailand ist, kann ich es nur empfehlen
