The snorkelling at the long beach was beautiful. The beach itself was worth the travel. The buffet lunch was delicious and all halal! The views from the big boat were beautiful. If you are a small family travelling with a family then this is the best way.

Great way to see a quiet private side of Phi Phi Don

One of my favorite excursions I’ve ever been on in all my travels. Great way to see Phi Phi / Phi Phi Don beach without the crowds. Started on a very large ferry; about 1.5-2 hours to Phi Phi Islands. Cruised around that for awhile (pic #1); we saw some little coves, packed with boats and tourists, swimmers & snorkelers. Large ferry took us near a beautiful, more secluded area of Phi Phi Don, where a small group of us switched to a smaller boat (the classic Thai boats you see in many pictures, pic #2). Had free time on beach area. Used small boat to snorkel (if you wanted to, could otherwise walk around or swim on beach) for about 30-45 mins. Only 3 of us snorkeled! So the staff made it more personal and intimate, definitely not the packed crowds we saw elsewhere. Was nice to spend 1:1 time in a small group, with staff, who told us about tourism, the fish, etc. Returned to Long Beach for a home cooked buffet. The small boat returned us to a busy pier, where we saw packed, busy Phi Phi briefly; I was glad to avoid that. Returned via original big ferry boat to Rassada Pier, again about 1.5-2 hours. Note: I gathered the specific locations you go to change based on high and low season. I was glad to avoid the packed coves, though this is what some pics in other reviews show. It appeared you could pay additional for a different small boat to take you/your travel partner back out there during beach/snorkel period. I am unsure if it is the same company who does each trip, but our staff (Andaman Wave and the crew we met up with at Long Beach) made the trip incredibly cool.

Good trip but not to iconic island

My friend and I booked this tour last minute and enjoyed ourselves. We were staying at Rawai Beach so we had to pay extra for hotel pickup. We then took a large boat where we were seated on the interior an hour and a half to phi phi islands then got on a slightly smaller boat (but still double decker) to view the islands from the roof. We then spent 3 hours on a beach snorkeling and having lunch then headed back. The scenery was beautiful but we didn’t see the iconic island that I thought we were going to. Overall a good tour but ends at 2pm which could be a bit early for some. The buffet was delicious and included a salad and fruit bar, rice, vegetable curries, cooked vegetables, chicken, pasta and tomato sauce, rolls, water, tea and coffee.

Wonderful experience

Not only was this trip affordable but it really was an amazing experience. We were picked up from our hotel and taken straight to the harbour. The boat was spacious and very well air conditioned. The islands were amazing and we got to enjoy a couple of hours in the beach. All in all it was a great way to spend the day.

Great Bang for your Buck

My first disclaimer: if you're going to the area, you have to visit the Phi Phi Islands, even if it isn't through this company. Second disclaimer: DO NOT buy tickets ahead online. I was staying in Phuket's Patong beach, and there are a ton of tour vendors along the beach. I ended up paying $30 USD for this tour versus the $75 listed on their website. Haggle once you get there. This tour was great! I was picked up from my hotel around 7:45 am in Patong Beach and driven to the port. I boarded the boat with my fellow passengers after our safety briefing and we sailed out to the islands. We got the chance to snorkel (snorkel included, fins extra--we were in a small enough area I did not need/want fins), have lunch in the Phi Phi's + some beach time, saw monkeys, and enjoyed the day. The lunch was delicious and there were plenty of options. We were returned to our hotels by around 6 pm the same way we came. Overall it was a great experience with engaging guides and beautiful scenery. Don't miss it!

AN ENJOYABLE TRIP

The whole trip was very nice and thrilling, they took us by cruise, the experience was wonderful. They served refreshments in the cruise and we were moving around the cruise freely and enjoyed the sailing while viewing the sea and the mountains, which can not be explained in words and one has to experience it. The lunch served was good, above all the hospitality overall was really remarkable. The island and the beach was so beautiful and enjoyable that no tourist can afford to miss this.

Full Day to Phi phi Island

Everything appeared Chaotic at first. We changed boats three times going and three times coming. But somehow everyone ended up in the right place at the right time. The captain provided extensive instructions in Thai and English. However as a native English speaker it was almost entirely unintelligible. My stress level peaked! But it all worked out. Really enjoyed the day and got some great photos.

Good tour

It was a great trip. Phi Phi Island Is magical. Food was good. Just wish we had more time on the beach.

Crowded waters, but a very nice time!

This trip included lunch for our group and swimming / snorkeling at a couple beaches. The boat crew was very professional and obviously careful for our safety while on the water. If you have a water-proof camera, bring it for some pretty good snorkeling photo opportunities. And you will NOT be the only boat on the water!

Both my partner and I enjoyed this trip .superb from beginning to end, all staff very friendly and knowledgable, only complaint was that there was no alternative for my partner to eat at lunchtime as he doesn’t enjoy Asian food, I do and it was delicious

Great Day Out. Just do it

This is a great way to travel to PhiPhi Islands at at very affordable price. Definitely upgrade to the VIP Room, so well worth the extra few dollars and the air conditioning is so good. The put on a great buffet lunch at the hotel in PhiPhi which was fantastic

Tour of Phi Phi island

Boat ride was good, snorkelling was good, food was good. There are options on the boat to upgrade the seating of the ride for future reference. Up to 500 baht per person per way to the top level seating and position. Overall well spent money for the day.

Island tour phi phi by big boat

Do not do this tour it is not tour of islands we picked up hotel given tickets dropped off at port left to our own devices had to get on ferry with hundreds of others with cases etc then 1 hour later told green stickers change boat climbed over to a smaller boat taken to long beach left for 2 hours could go snorkling did get lunch which was nice then guy shouted ferry coming so again got on boat to again climb this time over 3 ferrys to get to ours back at port we were left to find our bus to hotel so disappointed I wanted to tour Islands my granddaughter was so looking forward to seeing the monkeys what a rip off

Fine

So we were picket up on time and the driver was lovely, when we got to the port it all went fine very easy and self explanatory. But then we had to change boats and it felt like we were being herded like cattle. And then we had to go down stairs with misty windows so we couldn’t see the lovely view. The man on the speaker didn’t speak fantastic English so it was a lot of guessing what was happening. But when we got there it was lovely, picturesque view and the lunch was really nice, so that made it worth the horrible travel. And it takes ours to get there.

Good tour, bad tour guide

We went on this tour in September 2019. This is a nice tour, but this tour company is a thief. Don't buy your tickets here. Just go to Phiphiholiday.com and buy your tickets there. This tour company charged us 700 Baht for transportation from our hotel (which should be free). The tour is on a big boat which goes slower than a speed boat. But the boat is nice and has comfortable seats. If I were to do another tour, I would probably choose the Speed Boat though and see more islands.

Boring

Boat road was so long and boring and only spent not long at the actual phi phi islands! Don’t recommend this trip

Enjoyable and relaxing experience 👍

I would like to thank the organizer for making my tour safe and well organized. If you have motion sickness don't you worry there is a pill for you hahaha.But seriously the big boat went to big waves like hell i almost want to pick up one pill.But i manage to compose myself.I went in Sept which the monsoon is approaching so it usual for this season for those big waves though. Phi phi don which i went was so beautiful and the sands are fine as powder and clean coast lines.Ideal for honeymooners, indeed. For the food prepared for us, i must say the hungry tourists are like hungry birds too that forgotten to q in their line.Taste wise it was just so so not as delicious i had in patong Beach.😬But if you are hungry you will just eat that's it! The boat got snacks too and flowing coffee to enjoy! Look for kissing couple rock formation.When you it let me know!

A must see trip

A beautiful place to see, the water, the mountains, the snorkeling are amazing. Kids enjoy it too but you have to know how to swim.

I had a good experience, because I saw beautiful sea and tasty food. I recommend you to take reservation it.

Well organized

The trip is well organized from hotel pickup, sea cruise and hotel drop off. The food and refreshments were good too. I only wish that larger time slot could be available for snorkeling and we were allowed on James Bond/Maya islands.

Phi Phi Island boat tour

Wasn't as described, transfer to ferry, just over two hours ferry, dropped off at Northern part of Phi Phi, no tour guide as said, no mention of the optional tours. Did free snorkelling off beach. People were very nice but not as sold to us by wording on trip advisor. We really wanted to see more of island but no opportunity other than from a large ferry. You get about three hours on island from about 12 hours in total that was from Karon beach to Phuket ferry port to island and then return. No view point too. Taken and dumped on island and returned. If you fancy that and a free for all at the buffet then go for it.

Terrifying expierence & falsely advertised

The whole day was a disiaster from start to finish. Our pick up was meant to be at 7am and didn’t arrive until 9am which wasn’t communicated but instead was given a bunch of excuses. Firstly it says big boat and during the whole day we didn’t even see a big boat. We where told due to the mix up in the pick up the big boat had left and we had to get a speed boat. As we arrived it was chaos with at least a hundred people waiting around as the boats where bring prepared. We didn’t set off until after 11am and they tried to up sell everything possible before boarding the boat. Life jackets are provided which was the only plus. The water was very choppy on the way to the islands and many people where sick and children crying, with the elderly scared. We where told we couldn’t stop at some of the islands including the larger phi phi due to the weather and water although it was a beautiful day. In total we stopped at only two islands spending not even an hour on the first then a couple hours on the second. We was provided a basic lunch which was pleasant enough and the island itself was beautiful. The journey back was terrible the water was so choppy the boat was bouncing up and down with people screaming and holding on terrified. I can honestly say this was the worst boat trip I have ever expierenced and everyone felt the same. The trip is defiantly not suitable for children or elderly or disabled people. My advice will be do your research or book a trip when you get to Thailand highly recommend against this. The boat staff themselves where lovely and done their best but everything else was a shambles. I did try to ask for a refund on the day and the lady was rude I’m going to go over the paperwork to send an email to attempt to get a refund it was that bad.

Phi Phi Island Tour

Bus didn’t turn up to take us to ferry, got confirmation email saying pick up at Starbucks at 7.00 am, got another email that I didn’t receive till later night before asking for hotel details, emailed back giving details but no pick up in the morning. Phoned them up to say they hadn’t picked us up told us we hadn’t got back to them so couldn’t pick us up, had to get to ferry ourselves so cost another 1000 baht

It sucked

This sucked. Don’t do it. Very misleading - does not stop at several islands and you only see one. A big gross boat took 3 hours to get to the first and only island which we got 2 hours on. Save your time and do a speed boat tour of all the islands.

good experience

wonderful cruise and you will love the journey, it's advisable to take AC VIP seat, you will be saved from motion sickness and have a cozy environment too take short nap on long journey, also have toilets which speed boats don't have, however this big boat also moves at pretty good speed, phi phi is a beautiful beach town however your stay will be short, just for around 3 hours

Save Your Money, Terrible Tour

To start off, the staff was extremely rude to customers and made us pay for things which were suppose to be included (insurance and entry fee to the island). You spend the entire time expect for two hours on the boat. You only get one hour to snorkel and one hour to see the Phi Phi Island. I was extremely disappointed with this tour and will never recommend it.

Not What We Expected

This was a lot of false advertising- you don’t stop at many of the beaches listed above but just cruise past them. We got one hour for snorkeling and one hour for lunch, shopping, and swimming. So two hours total on Phi Phi island. Most of the day was spent on the big boat which consisted of workers who were very rude and other passengers screaming. What they also don’t tell you is that you have to pay for extra insurance when you arrive to the boat dock and a 20 baht entrance fee to the island. Overall, a very disappointing experience. On a good note, the snorkeling was very cool!

Money well spent!

Had a great time on one of the most beautiful islands there are. Serious tour operator, had good communication for pick off and drop off, drivers were very professional. The boat itself could use some upgrades, but can't complain for the staff was really helpful and the ride smooth on a fairly rough sea. The pictures you can have it's worth money on its own. As for the people complaining about having to pay extra money on a lot of different stuff along the tour, get real and stop complaining. It's like a low cost plane ticket, you will pay extra for every single extra that you want. And tourist beach fees are like airport taxes on a low cost plane ticket, but nobody's complaining about that, are you? You want all included? Buy the premium package.

There will have many agent selling the tour package but you should choose the premium tour as they provide you better speedboat and better food

You get hardly 2 or 2.30 hours on just one Phi Phi Island

A good tour. Snorkelling experience was good and the pick up and drop was timely. Indian lunch was average. Restaurant did not even serve basic thing such as salad in their buffet. but the operator should increase the time available on Phi Phi after snorkeling. Hardly got an hour after lunch before departure. Also the smaller islands were entirely missed in this itinerary as even if you want to go by spending money you can't because there is very less time before departure.

RIP OFF!!!!

Went there with our teenager in mid-April 2019. This phi phi island is so crowded with tourist you have to walk slowly and shoulders touching other people as you enter the main gates to the main island. Here you have to queue to pay your entrance fee. They allow you 2hours free and easy to walk about with over priced tourist bags, clothes, souvenirs and snacks. Then you have your lunch at one of those resorts where the tour operators partner up with, the so-called "great buffet" consists of sweet and sour fish, fried chicken drummets, stir fried veg, whte rice, watermelon slices. If you want to snorkel you have to pay the Government, not the tour operators (I made a complain and they told me the $ goes to the Gov not to them) $400THB. This is a total rubbish! There is NOTHIG to see! Dead corals, mirky waters and maybe 10-20 small fishes and this snorkeling area is so damn close to the main island (where you have your lunch) We jumped in thinking since we already paid the money and just see whats in the waters and we all came back up to the big boat after less than 30minutes! Never again. What a waste of time and alot of over hyped maketing for this.

A lot of hidden costs!

Initially when we paid $72 for 2 adults for this trip, we thought it was great value for money! Not until the day of the trip arrived. The pick up from hotel was seamless in an air-conditioned minibus. When we arrived at the harbour, we needed to pay 60 baht for harbour fees. Then the biggest rip off happened. The big boat company selling seats on the 3rd floor of the boat for 700 bahts per seat, claiming that there is 5 star service and the view is better blah, blah, blah. After upgrading, we discovered that there was no such special treatment. We could have been just as comfortable on the ground floor, especially since everyone gets to go to the top deck of the boat for better viewing. The boat was so full with about 400 people, not a peaceful ride at all and the noise was unbearable. On arrival on Phi Phi Island, we yet again paid an extra 40 baht as entrance fee. For snorkelling ,400 baht per person as nature conservation fee. Lunch was served which was average with no soda included, only drinking water served. All in all, we paid so much more than what we reserved the trip for. There was no mention of these fees upon booking. Please carry lots of cash on this tour as the hidden fees are absolutely ridiculous! Overall, time spent on the island was so limited (total of 2,5 hours including snorkelling!), that we found the entire trip as wasteful expenditure.

ok, mostly for families with young children.

It did not meet our expectations. Once we reached the port to hop on a big cruise ship with 100~ people. We were given options to upgrade our seats, to a speed boat or private boat (we didnt know beforehand and the upgrades were overprice). You do have to pay 400 bht when snorkling because of the thai gov tax but if you snorkle you miss seeing the other islands (all on boat) that was planned on the itinerary. This was one of the inexpensive tickets tho than other listings on this website that promise the same thing.

PP Island

It is a very pleasant island. The weather is good and the nature is varied. There is a beautiful sea and lovely people. I want to go back again.

Amazing Experience

I reserved my tour to Phi Phi Islands from Phuket All Tours online for B1000 and they picked me without much delay from my hotel in Patong around 7.15 am. With another few guests the vehicle arrived to Rassada Pier within an hour. The big Boat accommodating more than few hundred travelers started sailing by another 45 mts. It sailed for about 1.5 hrs to reach Phi Phi Island. There had two options, directly go to the main island or go for snorkeling which had a transfer from another small ferry. It was a beautiful surrounding with crystal waters and small islands. Had lunch served in a hotel in the island and returned by 4.30 at Rassda Pier. Back to Patong by one hour. Overall a good tour.

One Day Tour by speedboat to Phi Phi Don

I have booked the tour near Patong beach. The tour agent was being honest with us too declaring that maya bay island is now closed for rehabilitation except for the national park. The price was reasonable and cheaper compared to other online booking.The boat crews were super friendly and nice and well manners. The tour guide was fun too. But the tour itself was a disappointment. Some of the islands were stopped only for 15 mins and there were speedboat everywhere where you can hurt yourself if being careless by the engine blade when you get into the water. So for people that are scare or first timer should put extra caution when get into the water. I even saw some jelly fish in the water floating around me and I got stung by it ! Another foreign girl was stung by jelly fishes as well around her waist and thighs. The lunch was okay but the rest time was quite short for us to really take a good lay and relax on the beach. And we visited the last island where you can see fish swim around even at shallow water. But that's it. Anyway I hope you all enjoy your coming trips to Phuket islands.

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS! I payed for a full day tour of phi phi island by big boat from phuket including lunch. We waited since 6:50 am for 2 hrs the day we were supposed to be picked up at our hotel lobby. Nobody came nobody called. I reached to the so called hot line which they never pick up and after trying more than 5 times somebody picked up and said the boat was full. How can it be full when I payed a month after and reserved our spots? They did not give me back my money. i have tried contacting them since and no answer till this day. TOTAL SCAM!

Wij brachten onze dag door op een hevig bokkende motorboot met 55 man aan boord, en hadden enkel een uur om te lunchen op een eiland waar verder niets te beleven viel, twee maal een half uur om te snorkelen, en dan exact één minuut, zonder dat we de boot mochten verlaten, om foto's te maken van de aapjes op Monkey Island, en hetzelfde bij de piratengrot, en hup, daar ging de boor alweer. Verschillende mensen waren de hele dag kotsmisselijk door de zeer onaangename tocht.

Te dicen que vas a ver 4 islas solo t las mencionan por megafono y no para, te tiras 3 horas de barco para ir y para venir y cuando llegas te llevan en un barco a 5 metros d la playa para snorkel donde tr tirnen 20' echándole d comer a unos peces pequeños y vuelta a la orilla y alli 30' , super pesado y un dia pérdido mejor coger speed boat lancha rapida.

Virkelig ikke verdt det!

Vi gledet oss virkelig til å oppleve phi phi islands, monkey island + Leonardo de caprio øya som reklamen markedsførte seg med. MEN, det stod ikke at opplevelsen kun var fra speedbåten flere hundre meter fra land. Vi satt som sild i en tønne ut til øyene, ikke særlig hyggelig når det er med folk du ikke kjenner. Du må sitte ellers er det ikke trygt i speedbåten som kjører fort. Vi fikk ikke med oss noen ting i timene vi satt i båten da det ikke går an og se ut over kanten med mindre du reiser deg opp. Monkey island og Leonardo di caprio øyene er det ikke lov å kjøre inn til i speedbåt, kun i longtail boat.Der vi kjørte i land for å spise og for å sole oss var i for seg helt greie, men ble etterfulgt av ca 30-40 andre speedbåter og med folk som går i land samtidig. Da er det sannelig som sild i en tønne på land også. Høydepunktet var en festlig reiseleder og sandbanken av en øy som dukket opp mitt i havet.

Trop cher! Idem qu’un ticket pour le ferry

Prenez un ticket pour le ferry (50%) moins cher et c’est exactement le même tour saif que tu dois t’organiser pour ton repas. Le buffet était TRÈS ordinaire pour la valeur payé. À Phi Phi tout est plus cher qu’à Patong mais ça vaut la peine de se payer soi-même son repas. Pour l’endroit, c’est personnel mais il y a tellement de monde et de bâteau que c’est loin d’être paradisiaque. Et attention aux inclusions!!! Frais de port en partant en arrivant et encore plus pour aller faire du snorkeling.
