Early Bird trip to Phi Phi Island Snorkeling Day Tour with Lunch

Worth it!

Being able to start our trip early was great. The photo package was worth it especially with the snorkeling pictures. Unfortunately my photographer didn’t get any of myself snorkeling, which was a huge bummer. We only got to snorkel at one stop due to the waves. I wish there was a back up plan for a different place to stop! The entire boat staff was so nice and helpful. We enjoyed the ride and snacks. Everything was so beautiful.

A great time with Mr Boi

Mr Boi was a energetic and enthusiastic guide. The tour was fun and despite the quick stops they felt like an appropriate amount of time. Snorkeling water was a little rough but well worth it.

Enjoyable day out

When we booked the tour, one of us wasn't going to go swimming/snorkelling and we were told that would be ok you can stay on the boat. Whilst this was true, it wasn't exactly comfortable (speed boat). The members of our party who did go in the water loved the experience. Lunch was better than expected (buffet) and we would have preferred to spend a little more time on Phi Phi Island to explore the streets/shops after lunch rather than the additional time of the beach at Bamboo island. having said that, it was an enjoyable day out

Thailand in Monsoon Season Gets You Wet & a Rocky Boat

The trip was relaxing, and I bet a better experience in calmer/sunny days. Merci was an excellent tour guide, and the crew was always kind and attentive to people. This however is for their information, to be better. During my trip, we crossed the ocean in a storm, and as anyone would expect, it was extremely rough. Which is expected in my head, for Monsoon season. However a lot of people on the trip, seemed to have never been on a boat or expected this. So people were afraid for their lives, throwing up, yelling for more information, crying, etc... It was chaos at certain points. From my experience on rough seas, we were never in any danger, and the crew/captain performed perfectly. However these clients needed frequent updates and assurances they were safe, and all was ok. This communication would have calmed a lot of uneasiness about the situation, and would have been a flawless trip, except for the weather, which is completely out of the control of this company/guide/crew. Otherwise, some parts of the trip was excludes due to weather or closure. It is a worthwhile trip to take, with this company, if you are in the market...

Great day tour to beautiful Phi Phi island

went with family. Initially at the pier everything was a chaos...too much people they make us wait for too long. After we where asigned to a boat everything was smooth. They explained us the itinerary and even provided us with pulls for dizziness. We did snorkeling and was great. Lunch was ok, a regular buffet, nothing great. Personnel were really nice, they keep up looking if people feel sick or were ok. Sodas and water were provided also bananas. Really good tour!! would recommended

Neat Day of lots to see

Pretty nice day with lots to see. I was worried about the boat ride, but it ended up being fine, nobody got sick. The islands were beautiful and you get a lot of pictures. The canoe rides were awesome - a guide goes with you on a pre-determined course, but it was fantastic.

Not enough snorkeling

Not enough snorkeling opportunities. Only had 1 snorkeling stop and was very crowded and short duration

Excellent experience

Very well organised trip. Mr Boy was very informative letting us know what was happening when. Plenty of stops and time to enjoy each one. Maya beach felt overcrowded and chaotic to get off the boat and then around the waiting area to get back on but this is not the fault of the company just the island is very busy after reopening again after covid.

Seeing Maya beach, it’s absolutely beautiful!! Was really awesome seeing one of the most exotic parts of the world.

Good boat tour

Everything went well and the tour guide was great. The Beach was very busy with tourists but that was not the fault of the tour. Snorkelling was good and jumping off the boat into the lagoon. Free soft drinks were always available which was handy. The price was not cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.

Amazing trip, they have...

Amazing trip, they have the service of video and photo and you mis take it. Totally worth it. Beautiful bay, nice snorkeling time, buffet lunch and Mercy made the long rides nice and fun.

Full - very where. Only mass of people. The boat trip also not nice or relaxing. Just wast of time and money.

Beautiful islands, great snorkelling

I enjoyed the swimming and the snorkelling - the water quality was excellent, the islands were tranquil and I saw many tropical fish while snorkelling. I feel that the tour guides' English communication skills could improve. I would have liked to learn more about the islands and their history within the tour, because without this it felt a little superficial and targeted at travellers who are most interested in the Instagram photo. Also I feel like whoever organises the catering could improve at catering to different dietary requirements, so it can accommodate visitors with diverse palates.

Very well looked after

It was a lovely excursion. The crew, led by June, communicated in a very good English and was extremely caring about the guests comfort and safety. Maya beach was stunning, make sure you take a camera in the water when you snorkel. The lunch provided by the beachfront was good.

Amazing day

Absolutely amazing, the islands were stunning and they gave us plenty of time in each place. Really loved the day and the team were great and took lots of photos of us 😁

Speedboat battle to the floating Islands

Unforgettable islands. Decent snorkelling. Handy lunch in a restaurant. Our guide was energetic and informative. The boat out is a bit of a battle, noisy and it rained. Pack weather proof jackets as it's a 50 minute journey. Plenty of snacks and soft drinks on the boat which kept us happy. I'd recommend maybe making your own way to the departure point to save waiting time in the morning as the shuttle bus goes around other hotels. A long day but prepare and it's worth it.

The best speed boat tour !!

Mr. Boy and his team gave us the most amazing Phi Phi Islands experience ever. Amazing timing, amazing scenery, amazing food, amazing people.

It was awesome!!!! Totally worth it! We have lots of fun, snorkelling and beachs. Really recommend it!! The personal was fabulous, making you special all the time. The lunch was complete and with many options to choose. The crew and boat were amazing!!

Great tour - two tiered price structure

Great staff, but management needs to bring themselves up to speed on international pricing standards. Foreigners paying taxes in Thailand should not be charged extra., but this tour operator does just that. Thailand will not be an inclusive country until they change their ways.

Nice getaway

Pickup was prompt and the driver of the bus was very kind and safe. Our tour guide, Charlie was nice and very attentive. He made sure to describe each island/ area we visited in depth and also even had a map as a visual. The boat crew was very attentive and nice and often offered drinks/ snacks. They also offered assistance for snorkeling and help on and off the boat. Overall, the service from our tour personnel was phenomenal. The only reason I would rate this tour 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of opportunities to visit certain areas. We could visit a few beaches because the speed boat could not dock during a certain tide, that was a bit disappointing. Also, I am of course a tourist and was unaware that the James Bond Island was not apart of this “Phi Phi islands” package. Whoops- fault on my part but good information to pass on to future tourists to book this tour.

Overrated

First off it says sunrise. The sun was already up by the time we got to the check in place. If you never snorkeled then maybe give this a try. I’ve been to the Caribbean and this place doesn’t compare. Lot of island hoping as well. It’s up to you what you prefer.

Amazing tour

It was an amazing tour. Totally worth it. Lots of snorkelling and water time. Highly recommend it. The tour guide was very helpful as well.

Awesome Tour!

The tour was above our expectations! They picked us up on time (6.13am), got given beverages/fruit throughout the trip, the lunch was multiple chicken curries plus more (so delicious) and the tour people were really helpful throughout. Maya Bay was closed off though but snorkeling at Bamboo island was really good, I would suggest more time is spent here. I would deffs recommend this tour visiting Phuket. Thanks guys for a great day 😁

Worst tour company

Unprofessional, unreliable, unacceptable. Our tour guide never showed and then had the audacity to ignore my texts and calls and act as if I had mixed up the date and time of the tour. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this tour at all costs.

Never Picked Us Up

This was the most unorganized tour to date. We booked the early riser tour ahead of time for Dec 30th, early morning. The operator sent a message through TripAdvisor late the evening before letting me know that it was fully booked and asked if we could go the next day, which didn’t start until 8:30am. Not ideal as we wanted to beat the crowds, and our trip was not a last minute booking, but okay, the islands are still calling. Unfortunately the day of the tour (today), we sat in the lobby 10 minutes before our pick-up time and waited over 30 minutes before I decided to contact the operator. He sounded surprised by my WhatsApp. A few messages back and forth and I decided to call. The operator offered a weak apology and repeated a few excuses, claiming bad traffic, but assured me the driver was still on the way. Our hotel mentioned that traffic would be at a minimum this morning when we asked. I told the operator to cancel as I now had very little confidence in the trip given all of the issues we had encountered. He assured me the driver was still on the way. It is now 60 minutes later and this alleged driver still is not here...

Worthy

Worth the money. The crew member helped in snorkeling after getting to know my wife didn’t know to swim.

Beautiful Phi Phi

This tour was very well run. The tour guide was great and the sights were beautiful. Swimming in Bamboo Island was incredible. It's such a beautiful beach and the water was very warm. Our tour guide kept us well informed throughout the whole trip. The lunch buffet selection is a little bit limited but very delicious and the view is amazing.

Fantastic Day on the Water!

Our guide Tuk from Island Dream was amazing! We were the first boat to arrive at the breakfast buffet and for lunch and he always made sure to be very clear about what was happening throughout the day. The whole team of guides on the boat made the experience so easy - just like vacation should be! I would definitely book with them again!

Nice trip, but wasn't what we expected.

We booked this tour trying to avoid the crowds, but because of our misunderstanding it wasnt what we had hoped for. As it turns out the early morning excursion was booked and we ended up with the morning tour. I assume that would be very different. So many boats at every stop and the "speed boat" was jammed packed with no room to walk around the boat and knees crammed into the seat in front of us. The crew were great and the scenery was beautiful but overall just a so so trip.

Awesome Tour!

We were out early and beat most of the crowds! Had lunch basically on our own private beach! Our guide Tuk was very informative and helpful. Plenty of snacks and water, overall an amazing day. Can’t go wrong with this tour!

Must see trip

After reading the reviews on this site, we decided to take the trip. The reviews we read were not wrong. Everything from the first pickup from our hotel went really well. My partner and I had really enjoyed every moment of it, from the boat trips and snorkelling to the lunch. Thank you Mr bond and the rest of the crew.

Very touristy and not that early

Pros- loved the snorkeling and the food was ok. Cons- I picked early riser as I thought it would be early and we would be able to avoid some of the tourists. However, we didn't leave for the trip by boat until 10 and so by the time we got to the first location there were already lots of boats there. All the locations we went to were busy and it wasn't even peak tourist time. Overall I would have preferred more time snorkeling and quieter locations.

So fun!

Great trip without a dull moment. Snorkeling was tons of fun but tiring. By the end of the day, we were happy just to sit on the beach instead of swimming more. They recommend reef shoes for the beaches so that you don't cut your feet on coral. Bring your own or something similar or they also have them for sale in the morning at the pier

Good times

Tour was good even though the weather was not that great. Had time on the various islands to explore and snorkel. Overall good experience but this is a one time thing and would not do Phi Phi tours again unless it was a bit more. This tour was mainly for snorkeling and swimming.

Everything we hoped for

Simply stunning area of natural beauty and we got plenty of time for snorkeling to enjoy the colorful marine life. The Phi Phi Islands are a must if you are visiting the area!

A great family day out.

We had a great day out and the tour was great value for money. Our guide Charlie and the rest of the crew were superb and looked after us so well on the boat. The trip size was perfect about 24 of us and the day went really quickly. The beauty of phi phi is slightly dampened by the volume of boats around, but once you get your head round that it’s a truly lovely day out.

Good experience, but misleading description

Overall swimming and snorkeling was a lot of fun. Our guide Mr. Boy was informative and quite entertaining the whole time. My only gripe was they no longer allow anyone on monkey Beach due to a tourist being bitten by a monkey. So instead you just pass by the island slowly so you can see them on the mountain cliff. I wish they would've stated this in the description. Second gripe was you can no longer visit Maya beach... Ever. Again all we did was slowly pass by the entrance of Maya beach for a photo. So of the 4 islands in the itinerary, you only get in the water/land at two of them. Lunch buffet was delicious and staff was awesome, reasons why I would still recommend this tour. You'll have a good time, just lower your expectations if your anticipating what's in the description.

they charged 400 per person without justifying the tax, they say it is tax and give a paper that is not worth as a receipt .. they also tried to extort me by charging a tax of 500 (3x more than the value of the shorts I forgot in the car) and when not I accepted to pay, they said they would call the police ....

Amazing!

This tour company was amazing! Hotel pick up was on time, the tour company was very efficient upon arrival, the boat taken was newer and clean. Our tour guide Tuk was fun to be around and kept the tour fun for everyone. All of the stops were a good amount of time and the snorkeling locations were awesome. The beach lunch had amazing food and the early riser time slot was the way to go!! Compared to a similar tour we took out of Krabi, this tour hands down was more professional and much better valued.

Amazing experience!

This was the experience of a lifetime. We arrived to the marina early in the morning, had a light breakfast and headed off to the islands. The tour guide, Tom, and his crew were very friendly and helpful. Our group consisted of about 15-20 people which felt perfect. There was plenty of room on the boat. Drinks and fruit were readily available during the whole tour. Traveled to multiple different spots to see the sights, swim, and snorkel. Had a lunch buffet on the beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great Day, fab crew

From pickup to drop-off this company and staff are fantastic, nothing is to much trouble, age group on trip was from a young family to 50+ and staff looked after everyone so well, well worth leaving early as when we arrived at Bamboo Island only 3 boats on the beach, when we left there was 10 + , Charlie and All the guys couldn't do enough, from photos to go-pro action shots underwater outstanding. We opted to buy the DVD/USB memory of the day which was delivered to our hotel the following day, we are thinking of going again in a few days as it has made our trip. Nice day trip with snorkelling

The day is a long one but it is run very efficiently. It's a one and a half hour bus trip from Khao Lak to the jetty where we took off. Our tour leader was fun and interesting but the best part was the snorkelling at two different locations. We spent a long time at each and saw some amazing fish and coral.

Great Tour

The tour was amazing and Mr. Boy made it very pleasant. We didn’t get to go down on every island but it is worth it.
