Andamanda Water Park in Phuket with Transfer Option

Tour operator is crap, Park is okay.

Thailand Tours were not pleasant to deal with at all. From completely botching out transfer and making us pay our own GRAB (Taxi) to the park, and then only to completely be disorganised on the transfer back - they now owe me a refund for my GRAB fare. The park itself was okay, lines are long on most slides and the variety is okay - you end up doing most slides only once due to the cues. The highlight was the WavePool but again, this get a little boring. Park is a 2 star, Thailand Tours a 1 star.

Epic fun!

Pretty epic water park and transfers give you two options for pick up for the return. Go on angel first otherwise you will be queing for ages. The wave pool is another level... so much fun! Heaps of food options. Cabanas cost 2000 baht.

Unpleasant experience

Too crowded, very long queues in attractions, no place to hide from sun. If no taxi pre-booked, you are trapped in taxi mafia without normal options to leave.

Was alright

Water park was okay. It wasn’t that busy yet the waiting times on slides that required a dingy was just silly. The system is just strange, waiting at the bottom of a slide for a ring which on a couple slides took close to an hour. It’s fair to say that the park clearly lacks in the amount of dingys required to accommodate the amount of people going to the water park, when as previously stated wasn’t even that busy.

Classical water park for a half a day

Not bad, many pools and scary rides. Good wave. I will suggest spending half a day there, it will be enough But I expected something bigger and more entertaining. Classical waterpark with slides.

Lovely and clean water park

Amazing waterpark. We went mid week and queued no longer than 10 mins max for all the slides. Because of this we were done quite early but would much rather that then queuing for hours in the heat! Money needs to be preloaded onto your wrist band. 500 baht minimum. Anything not used is to be refunded but you need to go to the desk at the front to do so. My only minor point was the wave pool - my partner and I have been to many and never experienced one so intense. Not necessarily a negative but one to bear in mind with young children etc as it’s very powerful! The staff were all really friendly and super clean - would highly recommend for all ages

Great water park for the family

Amazing water park in Phuket, visited twice whilst we were in Phuket, it’s still nice and new and everything inside was great, enjoyed the water slides and the wave pool. Massive little water area for the kids to play in, would visit again next week we go back.

A day well spent!

Walking into the park you will be greeted by the loveliest staff to direct you to the entrance and take you through the process however they are not well informed on the whereabouts inside the park like the cabana booking process and locations. The park is well kept and super clean however the life jackets can use some maintenance as some had mold on them. Keep in mind that with extra charges (approx 2000 tbh) you can get a shaded cabana to keep your things safe and can relax between rides as rides tend to have long queues and seems like they don’t have fast track option as we asked for it inside the park and no one guided us. I would recommend getting the tickets online to avoid long queues, DONT take any floats, towels or snacks to the park as they will confiscate them at the gate and will claim that you can collect them on your way out but I was not able to fined my daughters Floats. The food inside the park was not bad, I would avoid the fried chicken as it was taste less but the nuggets were really good the kids loved them. They had a good amount of showers scattered around, I was shocked to find body wash in changing stalls which allowed us to give the kids quick wash. A beautiful family attraction and don’t miss the giant wave at the beach! Doesn’t require more than a day especially if you have kids below 122 CM height.

Haven’t entered yet and have an issue that they don’t cater to special needs kids

They don’t cater to special needs kids which is very disappointing , it is very upsetting as a parent that has special needs kids to b treated differently the life jackets they have are either too small or too big and extremely dirty

Andamanda Phuket Waterpark

Well constructed park with plenty of activities and staffed very well. Our experience was the waiting lines were too long 40-50 minutes for some rides - I guess this comes down to how many people the park lets in! The wrist strap and ability to store money in it is very good however the “no refund” conditions on unspent money is totally unfair (though it is in the fine print). Surely the ticket and the money spent on merchandise, food & beverage is enough why not refund the customers money - it’s theirs not yours!

Get tickets at the door not through this touring company

We were picked up from our hotel with a full vehicle 13, couldn’t even sit next to my wife. Go to the waterpark had to wait 20mins as the tour had not been booked through the water parks system. Waterpark is a lot of fun and when we wanted to leave we were told that we had to wait another 2hrs for our return back to our accommodation. If you go to the waterpark go just not through this touring company

A random fun day out in rain or shine

We managed to have a great day as there was almost no one there but we were also warned in advanced that some of trhe rides would be shut so we were prepared. And with a half price ticket it was worth it. Despite the torrential rain it was still fun. The staff are still in training so don’t expect too much from them. Many stall opened late as they couldn’t get the staff to them organized. There are lockers for your stuff but it’s at the entrance so a bit annoying if you’re at the other end. The photo quality of the professionals is limited so make sure to take many of your own. The food is also fairly limited and quite pricey- but it was good. Bars didn’t open till well after lunch so don’t expect a decent cocktail when you arrive. Would recommend it as something random to do

lots of space, few slides

visited the water park and were upset. half of the slides don't work. only 5 types of slides worked. walked around them for an hour and that's it, there's nothing more to do. One line was 30 minutes. advertised as the largest water park, but it's not. the second time we won't even go for free.

Great place for a fun filled family day out

Great water park with amazing rides. It was very clean and we were impressed with the level of safety measures and the number of lifeguards. The food and drink was quite expensive by Thai standards.

Shout out and release

Get the ticket during promotion time. It really worth money as me and my children take more than 6 hours there and we really enjoyed. High safety and security and many guards stand by at individually point. Food and snacks with reasonable price. They have photographer but a bit pricey.

Great water park

We wanted to recommend to visit here 🙂 we were total 3 person we a very enjoy and many lifeguard around the pool everything is perfect

Extremely disappointing

Very very disappointing. 50% of slides doesn’t operate, in the middle of the day additional 25% stopped working. Very long lines, over priced….Stay in the hotel pool - better experience lower price. Kids expectation were high, but also had a very negative experience

Excellent Attraction

Excellent attraction. We have enjoyed a lot the options there. The stuff there are very friendly. I would like to thank especially Amanee she helped us inside the park and also she informed us about the good activities in Phucket

Great day out for families

Awesome place to spend the day. Such great slides and facilities. Food options were good too. Had such an awesome day. It was pretty quiet and we didn’t wait for a single slide more than a minute.

Excellant wonderful excitement I have been to many international water parks , and this is one of the best .

Great slides.

I did enjoy the big slides with my kids. If you need tickets, just by them online. It's a bit cheaper.

Body shaming

Exceptionally clean and well run, life guards almost seem to outnumber the public. Beware though , if you are of a larger disposition you are physically weighed on scales at the top of the ride. How unbelievably embarrassing. Watched one young male totally embarrassed in front of his friends, not allowed to ride. You have been warned!!!

Delayed and dejected

We arrived 35 minutes late to the park, which meant missing the first time in the park where there are least queues. They picked us up first and then drove to three more hotels. Once in place, it was easy to get in. On the way back, the taxi left when it was supposed to. Having said that, they would leave us last, even though the hotels were at the same distance again, which meant that we would need an hour longer transport than the others unnecessarily. The AC was also turned off, which led to us choosing to drop out halfway through. Our children (3, 5 and 7 years old) couldn't handle going anymore.
