Terrific sightseeing tour of island

Great way to see most of the island of Phuket. Our guide, Phone , had an excellent command of the English language and was really knowledgeable. We were given 40 minutes of free time in the old town to shop. Had a great lunch there. Would certainly recommend taking this tour.

Scam

Unable to participate due to only having shorts and no long skirt. Somehow $60 tour ended up costing me $280 and never even got in the bus.

Great Value For Money

We were informed just before our hotel pick up time there would be a one hour delay as our transport had broken down. It turned into an hour and a half but this worked out better as we ended up with a private guided tour. Yo, our guide, was brilliant as was our driver Noom. She was full of knowledge and conversation and five hours flew by. All the stops were interesting, the Big Buddha is amazing and the sights were fantastic. Would highly recommend (and make sure you try the Tom Yum cashew nuts. Delicious!!)

A "must do" for a 1st time visit to Phuket

We went on the City Tour with Jimmy Tour. A local tour guide. Jimmy himself was our driver. We went to Big Buddha, the Cashew nut factory, Karon view point, Mamma's Jewellery shop, a cheap souvenir shop and Old Phuket town and the Wat Chalong Temple. Jimmy even stopped at Mee Ton Poe restaurant in order for us to have a real authentic Thai lunch. The city tour was amazing and I would recommend it. It is advisable to go in the city tour on your 1st or 2nd day if you are a 1st time visitor to Phuket as it gives you a sense of direction an indication of what you like and what not.

The Cultural Tour You're Looking For

Tin was our driver and was superb. Woody was our guide and he was knowledgeable, informative, polite and friendly and fun to be with. He was an excellent educator, teaching us history, culture and the religious background of the country, not just Phuket. He took us to lunch at a true, authentic "locals" eatery and the food was excellent and the experience was exactly what you are looking for if you want to know how the average Thai person lives. You must book this venue if you want a crash course on Thai culture.

My guide Yoh was an amazing person. I enjoyed the tour of the temples and receiving the blessing from a Buddhist monk. I high recommend this tour. Old Phuket was a totally unexpected experience. I’m glad I booked this tour. Enjoy the journey.

Great way to start Phuket

Woody was a fantastic and informative guide, and our family really enjoyed our tour of Phuket. This tour includes some of the highlights that would be hard to fit into half a day otherwise, while travelling in comfort and learning from a local.

Great tour of main tourist sights in Phuket

Half day tour of the main tourist sites of Phuket. Picked up on time from our hotel by Woody and our driver, Mr M. We were lucky to have a van to ourselves (4 of us) so very personal attention. Mr M had some bottles of cold water and cold towels in the van which were much appreciated. Woody was extremely knowledgable about the different sights and we had just the right amount of time at each. It was very hot so heading out at 8.30am was great as we missed the crowds and the worst of the heat. Wat Chalong was beautiful and the old town of Phuket was very quaint. Perfect trip to see the main tourist sights. Would recommend.

Wonderful experience

Our guide, Mr. Woody, was simply amazing. The morning tour offered the ability to stop and shop along the way. A greay way to see sites in the southeaster part of the island while learning about the history and culture of Phuket.

Restored my faith in phuket

After realising we had booked the wrong resort for us on phuket our faith was restored by this trip. Fon was an amazing guide. We booked the private afternoon tour. Collected on time, air con immaculate minibus. Took us to the best views and temples and told us local tales and tips where to visit and eat. We could adapt the tour to suit us. Faves of the trip- Fon, the views, the 3 monk temple and blessing for our anniversary. The tale of the monks walking stick so funny. Also phuket old town, lovely traditional architecture, classy clothes and jewellery stores (great anniversary gifts). Avoid the gem factory, overpriced and pushy service. Definitely come back to phuket after this trip, thank you Fon

The best tour of Phuket there is!

The tour guide Woody was amazing. All of the stops were very well planned out and he explained the historical significance of each and everyone. We could not have anticipated such an incredible experience.

Fuss free tour

Pick up and drop off at accomodation is a plus point as we are travelling with kids. The tour was a fuss free way of visiting a few must go attractions in Phuket. Guide Atta was very experienced and informative, accomodating to the kids as well. Driver Master Man was very skilled and kept us safe throughout. A good way to spend half a day and see the island.

Great way to see a lot of Phuket

This was our day one tour in Phuket. It was a great way to get an understanding of the key beaches on the west side and get an overall sense of the area. Woody was an excellent host and kept us informed on all key elements on the tour as well as accomodating us for stopping at a cafe for some lunch. Really nice day seeing the beaches, Big Buddha and Old Phuket town. Recommended.

The best Phuket Island tour

The whole tour was amazing! Definitely recommend for everyone to try this! We got to do and see so many things as well as learn alot from our super knowledgeable tour guide Soda! 10 out of 10 for everything we did and got to see!

The whole trip was just amazing . Phon picked us up and was just an incredible tour guide . We went to some amazing places ❤️ we would never of seen half of what we saw if we hadn’t booked this trip . FANTASTIC

Very nice way to spend half of a day

We had a very kind and knowledgeable guide. We were the only ones in the tour so it felt like a private one. We visited all important sights on the island and received lots of information from our guide.

Good overview of Phuket

This tour was a good way to see the highlights of Phuket, and we’re happy we took it. The driver drove very safely and the tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We did a private tour, and he thoughtfully planned out a slightly different route that would be better suited for our family.

Phuket is a beautiful Island

The island is beautiful, perfect place to disconnect from the daily routine and connect to yourself.the temples are beautiful, people are friendly, food is very tasty.

Phuket Tour

The tour guide and driver collected us from our hotel, the tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Visit to the cashew nut factory was interesting and the flavours they coated the nuts in were lovely. When we then went on to the gem factory this was interesting but not needed, maybe we got both as we declined a stop for lunch and wanted to go back to the hotel to use the pool as it was a hot day so we had the time to use up.

Great Overview of Phuket

We were picked up at our hotel exactly on time! The tour was laid out perfectly. The highlight of the tour our visit to the Big Buddha and the Buddhist Temple. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We decided to skip the visit to a jewelry store that they had planned as I had no intention of purchasing jewelry on this vacation. We also skipped the walking portion of the Old Phuket area and chose just to have them drive us through this section. We are both in our mid-60's and didn't want to walk in the heat and humidity. The stops to take pictures was lovely and we only needed about 10 minutes at each stop. Highly recommend this tour, but don't be afraid to adjust it to your needs!

Wonderful experience

Amazing experience from the time we were picked up from the hotel to the time were dropped back. There was only myself and my daughter on the tour so we enjoyed the 1:1 attention. Our tour guide was informative and the places we stopped at beautiful! It gave us an insight to other places in Phuket other than Patong beach.I would highly recommend this tour.

Everything in a few hours!

We took the city tour with Woody and A. Woody asked us what we’d prefer and balanced our day really well. The tiger park was one we were hoping to see and the team made it happen! My son loved all the stops we went to even if he hurried me at the temple so he could get to the tigers 😝 Highly recommend doing this tour and letting your team know what your needs are.

Great tour, awesome tour guide!

It was my first time to visit Phuket and I was very happy with this tour. Enjoyed everything included - strolling through the open market, checking out Phuket Town, going to the gem gallery & cashew factory, visiting Chalong Temple and the Big Buddha! Our tour guide, Woody, did a great job showing us around. He showed sincerity in really making sure we enjoyed our experience from explaining the various products for sale in the open market, to sharing the architecture styles in Old Town Phuket, to explaining how cashews grow and the process for making the end products from them, to showing us how to properly make a Buddhist offering at the temple. Woody made our time in Phuket worthwhile and very memorable!

Amazing experience

Woody is the ultimate tour guide to use in Phuket. Funny, knowledgeable, flexible to allow for so much on the tour. A highly recommend if you travel to this part of Thailand, do this tour with Woody. I plan to return with my family and will use Woody again.

Truly Amazing Tour of Phuket.

Woodie was our guide for the day and he brings a sense of joy to his work. He arranged our day due to a couple of factors outside his control - there had been a landslide in Phuket a couple of days prior, which was majorly affecting traffic. We learned more about Buddhism with Woodie exploring the Temple complex than I had in the previous 40+ years of my life. It was fantastic. Woodie was full of information about the history of Phuket and related it to his family’s life, which was wonderful.

Amazing start to our holiday

We wanted to start our holiday with a tour of Phuket so we could find our feet and help work out things like transport, food, other worthwhile activities. Phon, our guide, was able to answer all our questions and more. She was extremely professional, friendly and informative. The tour was explained to us at the start and we were told we did not have to go to the gem factory. We were happy enough to go to the cashew factory and did not regret t the experience as we were given many samples and bought a number of snacks. The visits to the lookout were very pretty and gave us some great photos. A highlight for us was the visits to the temples and Phon encouraged us to get a blessing from a monk while she took some photos. This was an amazing cultural experience for us. Something we won't forget. Phon explained all the intricacies off the different types of rituals and blessings. She also led is through another Thai ritual where flowers are laid and incense lit and gold leaf was placed on statues. It was all very fascinating and without Phon we would have only been spectators. Being a part of the experience was truly amazing. My oldest daughter gets quite anxious with new experiences and I was surprised at how trusting she was with Phon and how she was willing to give these amazing opportunities a go. It really gave her confidence to try new things through out the holiday. Thank you Phon.

DO NOT BOOK, THEY CANCEL 24hr OUT, REFUND HARD TO GET BACK

DO NOT BOOK!! Operator said the min amount of people had not been met and canceled the tour less than 24hrs out. No mention of the min 4 people rule in the information when I booked 3 weeks out. 24hrs out and they tried to get us to pay for the extra two spots for it to go ahead. They also refused to cancel through trip advisor and made us do it (obviously it effects their rating if they cancel it). Then I had to request the refund instead of it coming straight back to me because they didn’t cancel it. They must rely on people not to follow it up and loose their money. Super fraudulent and disappointing. Suggestion: As with other tour companies in covid times they have just cut down to 2-3 per week instead of every day. Leaving full days opens would mean a lot of peoples tours are canceled because it didn’t meet the min.

Fine if you don't have kids and don't mind being taken to places where you must spend

The trip started off great, our guide was very informative and knowledgeable and graciously shared their culture with us, which was enjoyable. I would score this trip more highly with the exception of two things that were rather unpleasant 1) being taken to places like the cashew factory and the souveniour store and feeling forced to buy things, more like you are paying for a tour to pay more money 2) along the trip my 6 year old developed food poisoning and needed the rest room, we separated from the group and told the tour guide she needed the toilet urgently and were sent to a gas station. After she was done we could not find the bus so went to a coffee shop and stepped out again to find the bus a little later. When we did eventually find the tour bus, we decided to call the company to ask them to tell our tour guide that we were inside the bus and they shouldn't look for us. When our tour guide returned, she was not very impressed that we had called her company and proceeded to berate us in front of the entire tour group. Shame on both the company and the guide for how they handled a 6 year old having food poisoning - I'd give this one a skip if you have children. Pro tip: if you leave in the morning, there is no lunch provided and no lunch stop, with each stop lasting 30-40 mins. So come prepared, not kid friendly

Amazing tour!

Excellent way to see the city! This was such a fun and easy way to see the major tourist hotspots. Our tour guide Yo was absolutely incredible the whole day, she was very professional, funny, and knowledgeable about the locations. Our group had a great time joking around with her. The sights were so beautiful and lots of great photo opportunities!

this visit was excellent at first thanks to our guide and the driver who was extremely kind. Our guide explained to us the different places to visit, she even spoke, made the effort to speak French for us. I recommend 100% the views are extraordinary the big and magnificent boudhha and the temple too.

The best tour in Phuket

We took a private tour with IAsia. The Guide Swutty met us at the hotel at 8:30 in the morning and proceeded to take us around the island. He was so informative and was so passionate about the island and also the company. We visited several viewpoints, a cashew nut factory, the big Buddha, and a wonderful temple. This was a great morning out and lasted well over five hours

A great way to see Phuket easily.

A great way to see Phuket. We saw so much, Woody our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and told us about the different bays; leading to the most southern point of Phuket, about Buddhism, and about Old Town Phuket. Woody also gave us time to explore with out him which was a lovely gesture. We loved old town Phuket with all the bespoke shops etc, we even found a lovely cafe with delicious ice cream sandwiches and mocktails.

Brilliant Overview of Phuket Island

Tipp (guide) and Pon (driver) were both utterly fantastic. This is my first trip to Thailand, and I wanted to get a good overview of both the Island as well as Thai culture. The places we visited were superb with some great views of scenery, beaches etc … and the Big Buddha & Temple were both awesome. Stopped off at a cashew factory which was a nice visit, and finished off in Phuket old town. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable 5.5 hours, I was taken care of incredibly well … with both Tipp and Pon wanting to be sure timings were ok. They gave me a great insight into Phuket, and I will talk about this tour to my friends back home and recommend it as a great first overview to see the Island. I’ll definitely be wanting to go back to Phuket Old Town to do some more exploring :-)

Excellent way to see the highlights of Phuket. Brilliant guide and quality of transport.

Our guide was Cat and the driver was Mr. A, both were absolutely wonderful. Cat is knowledgeable, discreet when you need a moment alone and patient. We started slightly later than planned and due to my pregnancy, had to stop quite frequently for bathroom breaks. Mr. A was always ready giving us water, cold towels and generally taking care of us. The van itself was immaculately clean, well equipped and comfortable. My partner is an avid photographer and wanted to take good pictures. Cat was not only patient, she did a great job taking some creative shots of us as well. The tour itself is well paced and fun. At the cashew nut place they really want to sell you products, but, as is the Thai way, there’s no pressure or dirty looks if you’re not buying. Meditating under The big Buddha was a beautiful experience, and all the viewpoints were breathtaking. Well worth a half-day! I think the Gems place is overpriced and I’d have liked to see more of the process of turning the raw gems into jewellery, but since we went on a Sunday, the factory was closed, so we got to see mostly the store. I love the Thai people and the culture of understated calm, everyone in tourism here has suffered, however they have such class in the way they conduct themselves. I’ve been impressed and humbled.

We had a great time on our tour! Due the pandemic, no one else had booked that day so we had a more private and customized experience. She took us wherever we wanted to go and got us there before it got too crowded! Highly recommend!

Phuket~ an overview

Our first full day in Phuket would not have been the same if it had not been for Thip and Mr. A. Again, we started our day with a guide and driver and now we have friends! Thip brought energy to our day; she gave us a beautiful overview of Phuket and Mr. A was an outstanding driver. You definitely want to the two of them! The entire tour gave me and my husband chances to create memories and capture photos. We can't say enough good things about this tour and our new friends!
