12 Islands Overnight Tour

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!

We are not sure where to begin with all that was wrong with this Tour! First of all, this tour is really geared towards Russians. Everyone else was just a number/another seat on the boat. There were a couple different guides, but it was clear that all of them made the Russians a priority. Throughout the entirety of the trip, we were confused about where we were going next, what we were seeing, what to do, and did not learn anything about the places we visited. However, the guide always made sure to give the Russians a ton of info and pointed out highlights, while the rest of us just sat there confused! We were one of four families that were not Russian and all of us felt the same way. We constantly asked our guide for more information and she would just smile it off and nod. It was evident she barely understood us. At one point she even had the audacity to say that the other guide was not saying anything of importance to the Russians and that he talks too much. She said that she would only tell us something when it’s important. Yet she barely ever spoke to us! Every time we got back on the boat, the other guide would go on and on talking to the Russians and pointing out things along the way. But she would curl up in a ball and put in her ear pods playing on her phone. The only time she ever spoke to us was to give us a time to be back on board when we docked at each stop. She would write it big on a piece of paper and show it to us. The issue was… we are not blind… we couldn’t understand anything that was being said. No need to write it on paper. We simply needed better communication. Meanwhile, the other guide would give all of the Russians information about what they were seeing and where they were going before we even docked and they were always the priority to get on and off the boat. This frustration definitely took away from the overall experience. They should just put everyone that is not Russian on a different boat and give us the same level of Customer Service or continue on only booking Russians going forward if that is the way they will treat everyone else. I would not recommend this tour to anyone I know!

Family fun island hopping

What an amazing tour. The crew is very professional and very helpful. Pick up and drp off was seamless. We were a family of 6, and the only Americans on this tour. Mostly Russians and other nationalities but don't let that discourage you from taking tour it's so worth the money. There was an Thai English speaking guide that helped us through the day. You make many stops and sometimes when u are told the times you think it's not enough but it really was enough time on each island for what there was to do. The hotel we stayed at over night was nice although the beds were super hard. Alot to do on this island lots of shopping, bars etc. The tour fed us so much every meal we were never hungry. They even gave us unlimited water, soda and fruit on the boat. I would recommend this tour to everyone that comes to Phuket.

Beautiful experience which I would recommend

Amazing tour which allowed us to see so much. Highly recommended especially if you don’t have the longest time for your holiday. I would say everything was great apart from feeling a little rushed; I guess to see 12 islands in less than 2 days you have to rush a little, but it was very regimental with minimum time to take in the experience most of the time. Other cons I would mention is the food included in the price: portions definitely too small for dinner and quality overall isn’t great, many of us left with an upset stomach.

Great way to cover top sights

Get to see all major sights very quickly - all in a day and a half so excellent tour to book but would happily paid more to have longer stops or even add an extra night

Alot packed Into 2 days

We hade a great time on this tour. It is predominantly Russians. But us 3 british were well looked after by our thi guide chai. He gave us alot of information about where we were all going and its history without going on. The tour is early start and late night (if you wish)with another early start. You get to see all of the bay and stop at selection of island. A great tour if you want to see all the bay in just a few days.

Good way to see the islands

This was a fantastic way to see all the islands! It’s an early start if you choose to get collected (05:40) you then hang around for about 2 hours before you finally set off… it’s a predominantly Russian tour however, we as English had our own guide who sat us together and looked after our every need she was brilliant!!!! The food at the Phi Phi island was okay… Maya Bay is gorgeous as is James Bond island! It is crowded with tourists…. But well worth the money

Russia cruiselines

I traveled solo as the only english-speaker on an entirely russian tour. That might sound discouraging to some but I greatly enjoyed this trip nonetheless. My personal guide was very helpful and I made many friends interested in my background. Beautiful islands and experiences as well. Thanks to everyone involved.

Overcrowded and uncomfortable

The islands were beautiful and some of the guides tried to be accommodating, but otherwise this was an overcrowded and uncomfortable 2 days with the tour being given in Russian. People were body-to-body on the boat, some with only half a seat. Definitely not worth the money for half a seat on an overcrowded russian tour

Beautiful island tour but some adjustments needed

The tour was extremely well organised. I was picked up promptly and on time from the hotel at the pre-specified time, and brought to the meeting point. However, here I learned that I was going to be the ONLY English speaking guest on the boat, with 39 Russians. I was thankful to see all of the islands in the way that I did, and it was nice for the most part. The guide Santi spoke to me in English about the sights that we were seeing, the places we were stopping etc. I do believe that they should have informed me prior, and an option of rescheduling my trip or an option for refund would have been appropriate. They need to somehow orchestrate that there is not a situation whereby only one guest doesn't speak the language of every other guest. I was very lonely for a period of the trip as none of the guests spoke any English whatsoever, and I obviously have no Russian. Maybe they should market it as a Russian tour only. One star deducted for that. The second star is deducted for the quality of the accommodation and food where we stopped on Koh Phi Phi. We had dinner on the first night, and then breakfast and lunch before embarking on the second day. After each meal, I had to go eat elsewhere as there wasn't enough food/ it was stale self-serving buffet food. Overall, I am happy I went on this tour, as I was at the tail end of a solo-travelling trip of a few months and didn't mind the insular time. I do appreciate the organisation that it takes to have a trip like this running consistently, so bravo to the staff for that. The islands are absolutely breathtaking, and I couldn't find another excursion that did it quite like this. It might not be suited to everyone. I imagine it's amazing for Russian speaking individuals.

Great tour if short on time in Thailand

This was a great tour if your short on time in Thailand as its non stop but without feeling too rushed. I was travelling alone and was the only English person in the group but the guide went out of his way to make sure I was ok and given information in English before he spoke in Russian, the Russian members of the tour also made me feel welcome. The guide was sending information over on what's app so that was helpful with meeting points and times. Overall I would recommend as an easy way to see all the sights it really was worth it, but if your going for more of a social aspect if your English and don't speak Russian you might find it more difficult.

Stunning Islands with Fantastic Night Entertainment

We visited many scenic islands with huge intricate exposed rock faces & many were framed with bushes, trees and stunning undergrowth. During the evening on Phi Phi Island we were recommended to visit Slinkey's Beach side Bar; this was a perfect suggestion as the water side fire show was spectacular and memorable and went on for several very entertaining hours.

Best tour EVER

This trip was much better than I expected and we were able to do so much in such a short amount of time! Our guide, Anton, spoke both Russian and English so he would say everything in English first and then speak to the rest of the group in Russian. He is the best - very knowledgeable, passionate, and makes sure everyone is having a good time throughout the tour. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see as much of Phucket as they can in 2 days

A tour of a lifetime

A fantastic tour and amazing value for money: great guides and crew. Everything organised really well.

Even though there were 95% russian speakers on board, the tour guide spoke both languages and I didn't feel left out. I think russians are organisers of this tour, so keep that in mind

It was truly memorable and an amazing experience! I was able to see so much beauty. The trip was super quick and wish we stayed at the beaches longer, but it was spectacular!! I loved the local tour and the over night hotel stay! You must go to the "fun side" at Phi Phi Island its a night to remember, Music, dancing and fire galore!!

Lacked value

The food was reused & COLD for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The Russian guide was very informative to her guests, however, but our English speaking tour guide just gave us very minimal information... At points, we had no idea what we were doing because directions were only given in Russian. The resort room was dirty...when we entered the room, there was a towel on the bathroom floor in which was filthy black. We did not receive the full value that we paid for.

Beautiful islands, great staff!

I went with one friend and we had an AMAZING time. The staff were so kind and helpful, we got to see a lot of things in a short period of time which was perfect for us as this is a once in a lifetime vacation for us. We're from Canada, so it's a very long flight to get here. The food was good, the accommodations were quaint and clean, and the islands were beautiful! P.s. You finish the tour around 3:30pm.

Phuket is a paradise

Visiting Phuket on honeymoon is fun. Me and my wife wanted an out place for fun and we decided to go for Phuket and in very less time we got to explore a lot of places. We started off our trip with James Bond island and in just one day day we saw canoe, Gypsy village, peninsula railway, fire show and we also attended an after party. First day sure was fun then on our second day we went for phi phi island, Philey lagoon, Viking cave, Monkey beach, bamboo island and rang tee island, We also went for snorkelling and we really loved. Our guide good with photography too. It was all fun.

interesting experience

A lovely tour. The tour operator and guide was excellent . The overnight resort was nice .However , too many people on the boat (the majority of them Russians - who are not the nicest people ).

Good experience

Overall good. However, there were more than 40 people on the boat. It was very cramped. Saw some very beautiful formations. Made great photos. One more thing, almost all people on this tour were Russians.

Exellent service

TIP. We checked out of our hotel in Phuket, but left our suitcases at the reception, and after returning from the trip we checked in again, so we saved money for 1 day in a hotel at Phuket. About TRIP: The driver picked us up on time. upon arrival at the pier we were met by a guide who accompanied us for two days. On the first day, we had a visit to the islands of Phi Phi, the Bambu Islands, swimming in the lagoon and a stop on the beach with monkeys. Lunch and dinner were included, as well as an evening program with a fire show and a disco. On the second day, we went to Krabi province, visited the fertility cave, the village of sea gypsies, canoes, and also visited the famous James Bond islands. In general, the trip is very eventful, and the islands are insanely beautiful. After the trip we had a lot of positive emotions.

Good but could have been better

Let me start by saying the tour was very well organized and we were able to visit many of the beautiful Phi Phi Islands, swim, snorkel, canoe....overnight in Phi Phi Don was adequate. My husband and I were traveling with our 3 adult children and son in law. The most disturbing part was that we were put on the tour with 40+ Russians. The tour director Tanya was Russian but spoke English beautifully.....the problem was that she refused to speak to us at all. What a wasted talent! One of the boat crew " Mr T" was assigned to us. His English was minimal and because of that many times gave us incorrect information. When we asked him why Tanya could not translate for us he said it takes too much time. Well we got absolutely no history or information on anything we were visiting. Mr T spent most of his time tending to boat duties. We were yelled at and I'm not exaggerating by Tanya when we didn't follow directions and even then she refused to speak English...spent most of trip on her phone. So if you are considering this trip check to see the demographics of the planned group. We had ourselves a great time but it could have been better. Tanya gave the tour company, tour directors and the Russian people a very unfavorable reputation...she could have been and should have been much better.

We had the best time, the things we did and the places we saw were amazing. I traveled with our 3 adult children and we all agree that this trip was the highlight. Thank you Nid for taking such good care of us!!

Avoid not worth your money

Our guide Sim did not speak English ( even though they said any English guide is included) now that was a little scary . The boat had no windows so you didn’t see anything the whole time you spent on the water which was really unpleasant. The boat ride is VERY ROUGH . A lot of the islands we went to we couldn’t get on because they were closed. The ones we could get off on were given approx 30-40min to explore. This is not meant for children under 13 and anyone with walking disabilities , or any injuries of any kind ( the boat ride is really rough ) or scared to venture of there own. The Russian guide seem to provide lots of information to his people and we were left with what ever our tour guide had memorized from his text book. Nothing more nothing less .One a bright note the food was good , hotel accommodations were good , and the kayaking was real nice . But it’s a very tight schedule. Not worth 245$ approx per person.

We liked this tour

We liked this tour, and after it many impressions remained. For two days we visited the islands of Krabi, Bambu Island, the village of sea gypsies on the island of Pani, the James Bond Islands, Rang Yai Island, and sure islands of Phi Phi archipelago, also did canoeing and snorkeling. The food was mainly buffet style and there was food enough for everyone. The tour is worth the money, and we recommend visiting it, if you have 2 spare days in Phuket.

We enjoed this Tour

This tour is for those who want to see everything at once. We liked the islands and the organization of the tour, although it was the peak of the season and a large number of people everywhere, but our boat was one of the first to arrive on some islands, without crowds of tourists! There was also a photographer from the company on board, and for an additional fee we ordered a photo shoot on the islands! And we are very grateful for the great photos.

Terrible tour

My boyfriend and I came to Phuket as the last leg of Thailand and we were so excited for this tour. To start our tour started with picking us up at 5:40 in the morning where we were brought to a drop off zone and weren’t to start the tour for another 2 hours just sitting and waiting. The breakfast they provided for the 2 hour wait was atrocious, picture below. We were given instant coffee and cookies and later found out we wouldn’t eat for another 7 hours at the end of the first day. The lack of organization shows. We quickly found out this tour was 99% Russian speakers. We had a Russian couple come up to us and tell us that it was marketed as a Russian speaking tour which we had no idea of booking this on trip advisor. Next we were packed on a boat that was entirely over packed with 45 other people. While they provided us with a guide who was very nice we could barely understand her while the Russian tour guide on a megaphone speaking to the majority of the boat Finally while we were to stay overnight in phi phi our tour guide instructed us to come to the pier at 7:20am. We were promised if weren’t there by 7 she would knock on our door. She was only responsible for us and another couple who were English speakers. Our alarm didn’t go off and while this is our problem for technology errors. The tour guide never knocked and we were left in the phi phi islands. This tour lacked in so many errors and while my boyfriend and I made the best of it I would never recommend this tour to anyone I know. It makes me upset with the amount of competition I was stuck going on a sub par scam and wish I could get my money back. This tour isn’t for families, couples, or anyone who doesn’t speak Russian

Me and 40+ russians

I paid a single supplement of 1200 but. Was collected late after chasing up. Put on boat with 40+ Russians who didn’t speak a word to me in two days although they were talking to Thai people in English. I had to eat meals with them at set tables. Hotel 3 star had a window facing a wall. Meals were in the hippy bar next door not in the hotel and were set. (No choice) apart from breakfast. Staff were rude. I had an interpreter who spoke pigeon English and main details were all given in russian dispite me asking for an English guide. Boat was full to bursting. Was told to sit at back of boat and got soaked. Many of the islands we only stopped alongside as I was told we were not allowed on them or if we stayed longer we would not get to next point as we would be blocked in by other boats. Islands were beautiful. Trip was a disaster. There doesn’t seem to be a way of claiming any compensation through this site if you went on the trip

Best Overnight Tour at Phi Phi Islands

I have long dreamed of visiting James Bond Island and Phi Phi Islands. And it was a great opportunity in two days to see all the most famous and beautiful islands. Transfer, meals, snorkeling, national parks fee, an evening show, a good hotel room - all included, we also had a great local guide Tim, who was very polite and courteous. Snorkeling on the Phi Phi Islands was cool, we were even lucky to see reef sharks. I advise this tour for those who want to see everything at once.

One of the best experiences!

I would like to express my gratitude for the 12Islands Overnight tour! This excursion is simply amazing, the beautiful beaches and the delightful sea and nonforgetable party in PhiPhi! Separately, I want to note our Thai team and guide Mick, everyone was courteous, polite, and friendly! Guide spoke in detail about each of the islands visited and did not leave question unanswered! Upon arrival, I will tell everyone, how great we had time! Keep it up, it was unforgettable))

Overall very good experience

Overall I would highly recommend this trip it was fun and the best way to cram in as much as possible if you only have a few days. Staying on phi phi was amazing. Food was good and hotel accommodation was nice near the beach. The places we visited were breathtaking and will stay in my memory forever. It's always a risk when traveling alone to book tours like this but the guides were very friendly even offering to take my photo for me at some of the main sites and making sure I was ok which I really appreciated. The things to know before you book these didn't really disappoint me but may be good to know to be prepared to avoid dissapointment are you don't have a view on the boat apart from the back. There is a small sun deck at the front but it's a bit crazy trying to go up to see/get photo as everyone is an Instagram model these days haha! The tour is mainly for Russians. I was 1 of about 6 English speaking guests everyone else was Russian. The English speaking tour guides English is not amazing. As English is my native language I could mostly understand but if English is not your first language or your English is basic you will really struggle to understand the tour guide I know this was an issue for some of the other guests. That being said the tour guide is very friendly and helpful and kind and I really enjoyed spending time with him. You get wet on the boat and it's very bumpy fast and loud-a necessary evil if you want to see so much in a short time however this wouldn't be for everyone- . If you don't have sea legs or are looking for a relaxed Instagram worthy jaunt out to sea this probably isn't for you. In the destinations themselves you have AMAZING views, photos the guides are more than happy to take pics for you and it's just incredible but not so much on the boat. The boat is quite fast and splashy and we all got really very wet with water splashing on us. Again I didn't mind this but I can imagine for some this wouldn't be the relaxing island tour they have in mind. Overall very very good value for money. Have memories that will last a lifetime and a very efficient way of visiting the islands if you don't have much time and don't mind roughing it a bit on the boat.

Fantastic

Great tour, jam packed with things to see and do and staff were very attentive. The islands are very beautiful but very crowded during peak season, we were prepared for this. This is a good tour if you are short on time and was the highlight of our southeast Asia trip!

The location is wonderful but my experience was bad

The tour was supposed to be part of our honeymoon experience but it was far from being pleasant. We (my wife and me) were the only English speaking travelers and the rest were Russians speaking. So our guide(a local) was not only involved in explaining us more about the different destinations but was also helping out the boat crew in their activities and thus could not spare us a lot of time explaining the details of the islands which we were visiting. He also had difficulty in English (but that is still acceptable since we are traveling). He used to just mention about the tour itinerary and the name of the island we were visiting, unlike the Russian guide who was always with the travelers and explaining about the islands and having a fun with his travelers (cracking jokes and the entire group was laughing unlike us who were wondering about our next island). The food needs a lot of improvement(I understand that its difficult to get good food). The food is sub standard and both the lunch and dinner menu was the same. The hotel which we stayed in was good but our allotted block was bad in plain words. But the locations which we visited were fantastic and the tour had been very well scheduled. I was happy with the locations which I visited but it would have been a lot better if we could know more about the islands as I am sure they have a good history and culture attached to each islands. So all in all i would not recommend this trip to any English speaking couples, not a family friendly tour and mostly my last with Viator

Wonderful Time!

My husband and I did this tour and had one of the best times on a tour. We were a little hesitant with it being overnight, however the accommodations were not bad at all. The tour to the different locations were amazing. The beauty in these islands was well worth it. Be sure to bring a change of clothes for the night life. Our tour guide, Hung was the absolute best. He did his best with explaining all the locations and the history behind each location. The also fed us very well. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour

The tour was just amazing, we saw alot of beautiful islands. The guide was very helpfull and explained everything about the places we visited. I will defenitely book other tours with this agency.

Awesome experience

I really enjoyed this experience and would recommend to anyone who likes being adventurous. Not a big fan of the sleeping accommodations but overall it was a great experience.

Très belle croisière MAIS...

Très belle Croisière de 2 jours pour découvrir les plus belles îles de Phuket. Sites, déjeuner et dîner corrects et très bel hôtel pour la nuit. MAIS au milieu d"un groupe de russes ! assez insupportables. Le guide nous faisait la traduction en anglais. Je recommande tout de même cette Croisière sur 2 jours.

Eigentlich eine tolle Reise mit vielen tollen Zielen! Wie immer ist der Reiseleiter der entscheidende Punkt ! Unser Guide Anton, perfekt russisch sprechend hat sich hervorragend um seine russischen Gäste gekümmert! Er hat Ihnen lange und ausführlich alles schön erklärt- die Erklärung in englisch viel oft ganz aus oder ein knapper Satz ! Die Tour bestand aus 4 Deutschen Urlaubern die englisch gebucht hatten und der Rest Russisch sprechend ! Die Tour würde schon 5 Sterne wert sein - der Guide allerdings nur 1 Stern ! Wer also nicht russisch spricht sollte anderen Anbieter nehmen oder hoffen nicht auf Anton zu treffen! Gerade bei einer Overnight- Tour will man über Land Leute was erfahren!! Wir 4 Außenseiter haben das beste daraus gemacht! Sehenswert war es allemal!!

Belle expérience

Très belle expérience. Si vous avez un sejour de moins de 15 jours cette excursion est faite pour vous. Tout est compris, nourriture, logement, transports.. Nous avions un guide anglais au top. Au petit soin. Seul bémol un treeeeesss grands nombreux de russes qui faisait parti du groupe (environ 40 contre 6 anglophones) le guide russe parlait tres fort, on entendait a peine ce que disait notre guide. Sinon, rapport qualité-prix optimal.

Tour des 12 îles

Programme prévu, pas vraiment suivi... Snorkeling une seule fois au lieu de se qui était prévu... Plusieurs plages dont monkeys Beach vues du bateau et pas mis les pieds dessus... Sinon accompagnateur sympathique. Repas moyens.

Ferien in Puket

Leider hatt es mit dem Abholen nicht geklappt, wir mussten eine Stunde warte. Danach noch einmal zwei Stunden bis alle zum richtigen Schiff eingeteilt waren. Zum Glück gabs noch ein Frühstück, das die Wartezeit ein wenig verkürzte. Für uns war auch das Schiff mit 49 Leuten eindeutig zu voll. Einige Leute mussten auf der Kühlbox Platznehmen da sie sonnt hätten stehen müssen. Leider waren auch von 49 Leuten 45 Russen und die Erklärungen alle in Russisch. Unser Führer gab sich sicher sehr Mühe, aber ausführliche Erklärungen wie es der Russische Führer machte gab es in Englisch nicht. Es gab aber sonnst sehr Positive Punkte, wir sahen sehr viel in zwei Tagen, Schwimmen und Schnorcheln war super. Das Essen auch sehr gut, ebenso die Zimmer auf Pipi. Auch die Feuerschow. Grundsätzlich für den Preis ein sehr gutes Leistungsferhältnis.

Super excursion, qui vaut bien son prix ! Nous voulions en voir le plus possible, on a été servi : îles paradisiaques les plus connues, plongée... Nuit passée à Phi Phi Don, quartier très animé et festif (spectacle de feu, pool party, boxe thaï...). Je recommande vraiment cette excursion !
