Skip-the-Line: Perth Bell Tower Experience Ticket

Incredibly interesting.

Learning how the bells are rung and how hard it is to be a Bell ringer. Being able to see the bell’s actually being rung, especially the magnificent Anzac bell.

Wonderful experience

Howard gave a humorous and educational tour of the history and workings of the bells and building. Ringing the bells was a great experience everyone will remember.

For the lovers of bells 🔔 and all things historical

Located alongside the swan river located in the heart of Perth. This iconic structure is not one to be missed. Ring the bells during the day. See the lights at night. Pair this experience with the Perth Mint for extra discount.

Thoroughly enjoyable Bell Tour and Bell Chiming experience

The view from the 6th floor of the Bell Tower was great. We also took the session where they allowed us to chime the swan bells and that was a fantastic experience with Paul giving a great introduction and excellent explanations.

Awesome bell ringing experience

Totally awesome experience. Loved learning how to ring a bell. They are extremely heavy. My favorite thing was seeing the Anzac 100 year commemoration bell and seeing/ hearing it ring.

Easy affordable and entertaining

Fun entertaining, beautiful sounds and easy to link in with other things that you’re doing.. and bellringing requires more strength than you imagine.

Bell ringing tour

We did the tour that included the bell ringing. Howard the guide was very interesting and ringing the bells was cool. Enjoyed the observation deck views and seeing the anzac bell being rung. Kids 14 and 12 enjoyed it too.

A Perth landmark of distinctive architecture

A Perth landmark of distinctive architecture. The museum provides interesting facts on the history of the bells and bell making.

Wonderful experience!

Howard gave an excellent tour! It was very knowledgeable and engaging and happy to answer any and all questions from the group. We all got a turn to have a go at chiming the bells and each received a certificate as well. If you time the visit right, you also get to see the ANZAC bell in action at midday! Overall, a lovely visit, with a wonderful view of the surrounds.

Understand Bell chiming.

The guided tour was excellent we were given an understand of how bells are operated and the music written to produce a tune. We also had the opportunity to ring the bells. Location and history contained was amazing.

Bell Tower, go and see it.

The Bell Tower 🔔 was interesting, lovely guide. Howard helped us to ring the bell. The Anzac bell was huge 😳. I would tell everyone to go & see the Bell Tower

The views

The views were amazing. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. Would recommend the tour to anyone to do whilst in Perth.

An interesting experience with opportunity to ring a bell.

A very interesting tour explaining the history of the bells and the erection of the tower. We were able to actually chime the bells after a brief lesson on how to pull the ropes. Then walked up to 6th floor for great views of Perth, walking down to see the Anzac Bell and watching it ring at 12 noon.

Perth Bell Tower worth the visit!

The views from.the bell tower wrre fantastic. Guides were veery friendly and stayed for the noon ANZAC Bell ringing.

Good and informative tour

Excellent experience. Jeff was very informative and our group had several young children who he ensured enjoyed the bell ringing element.

Such accommodating staff at The Bell Tower!

We had quite an enjoyable time chiming bells during our Bell Tower visit! It certainly was an experience worth every minute. But the highlight of the day was when one of the staff, Deborah, went all out by taking the time and effort to get the best photos of my husband and me in front of the Bell Tower. She was so lovely!

Ring the Bells

Make sure you pay for the tour. Jeff our tour guide was fantastic, he was so knowledgeable. Ringing the bells was so much fun, not as easy as it looks. The whole setup of this bell tower is amazing, great displays, good views, took fantastic photos. Thankyou for the friendly welcoming staff couldn’t do more for you. A must to do. Thankyou

The Bell Tower

Excellent tour, guide was great and I loved ringing the bells. Such a lovely experience and a clear day

Privilege to ring these bells.

The experience of ringing these magnificent old bells was wonderful: what a privilege! Jeff was a great tour guide and showed us the ropes (pun intended 😜). The view from the tower is breathtaking and the displays interesting. I have only one complaint: rubbing the ‘lucky’ cracked Upton Grey bell did not result in a lotto win!!

Quick & Interesting

Thanks to Howard for his interesting and humorous talk at the Bell Tower. We got to ring the bells & received a certificate. Great viewing deck for photos & views of Perth & Swan River

Great Insight into Bell Ringing

Our guide, Silvia, was both informative and entertaining. The history of the St Martin-in-the-Fields bells was enlightening. We had the opportunity to ring a variety of bells plus see the belfry. There is the opportunity to take in the many other attractions around Elizabeth Quay while you are there. e.g. gelato, a brewery and many different cuisines.

A Fabulous Day

My Grandchildren and I loved our time at the Perth Bell Tower yesterday. We watched the Anzac Bell Chime at Midday, truely Awe —Inspiring!!!There we greeted long standing Bell Ringer Laura who taught Declan and his older brother how to Chime over the years since they were toddlers. We watched and listened to all the Bells Chiming as professional Bell Ringers rang out glorious medleys of chimes. My 12 year old Grandson Declan dreams of becoming a Professional Bell Ringer and after listening to Howard’s informative talk about the history of Perth Bells(scattered humour throughout was appreciated and uplifting)and also giving us all hands on experience of ringing a Bell our guide was able to give us information to guide Declan in the area of Training.Thankyou Howard!🌟

Different, but amazing!

Defineitly a must do when in Perth! Our guide Howard was an absolute delight. The experience of doing a hands on bell ringing experience was not only something different, but really insightful as to how much work throughout our history has gone in to bell ringing, and how important bells are world wide. Loved the experience, the views & the people. Great activity for a fair price!

Hello Bells

Good informative tour. A unique and rewarding experience ringing the bells. Very intriguing watching the bells in operation when the real bell ringers operated them. Good views of Perth and surrounds from viewing platform.

Bell Tower experience

Very interesting history around the. Bells and informative displays. Everyone got instruction on how to ring a bell and each person in the group got to ring a different sounding bell. At the top of the tower we could play from a range of melodies on the carillon which gave out a lovely sound. The modern glass building which houses the bells gives amazing views of the city. Had a good range of souvenirs available in the shop and they were very well priced compared to others around town. Highly recommended.

Bell Tower tour with bell ringing.

We had a very good guide Angela. Got to ring a bell and foot a certificate. Good place for photos and views

Interesting and good value

It was very interesting and good fun. The guide made it interesting. Well worth a visit even if you don't do the tour.

Nice afternoon

This was our second time to the bell tower and first time to the bell tower experience. We had Howard as our guide today and he was very witty, kind, and patient. Howard had a very gentle voice to come with his gentle personality so I wish he was hooked up with a mic. When we were all listening about the history of the bells and the building of the bell tower, my kids were a bit bored, but it didn’t take that long at all before the highlight of chiming the bells which my kids really enjoyed. The view on the 6th floor observation deck is always worth it. After bell tower, took my kids to get an ice cream, and enjoyed a snack and a drink at the cafe while kids played in the playground by the side.

Bell Chimer Experience

Interesting hands on experience in becoming the bell chimer today with guidance from the staff. The 12pm bell event was an eye opener. Worth the wait. Nice view from level 6.

Excellent Visit

Really interesting and informative tour. The tour guide, Oriana was great and packed a lot of information into a very short space of time in an amusing way. Great to have a go at chiming the bells. Highly recommended.

Un bell ievable

Howard gave a great tour of the bell tower. Love his sense of humour, and loved the tour. What a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience

We absolutely loved this experience. Oriana, our guide, was very informative and interesting. Chiming the bells was so much fun and a unique experience. Hearing the professional bell ringers ring them between 12 and 1 on Thursdays is an added free bonus. I highly recommend experiencing the bell tower.

Great tour

A short and sweet tour that gave some great history and insights into the bell tower. Awesome views of Perth and exhibition rooms on the way up to the top observation deck.

Must ring!

Ringing real royal bells was a treat. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Great view from the top

Highly recommended. Educational and entertaining!

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. The talk was excellent, and it was interesting to learn the history of the bells. Sylvia gave the talk, and was very knowledgeable and experienced. She made sure everyone had a chance to ring the bells and get lots of photos. The self-guided tour of the levels after the talk was fascinating, and the views were breathtaking. The kids had a great time and really enjoyed ringing the bells. Afterwards, we had lunch and coffee a short stroll away, at 'The Island', near Elizabeth Quay. I would highly recommend The Bell Tower Experience for locals and visitors. A family ticket was only $44, so it was a very enjoyable and reasonably-priced outing.

Fun filled and insightful.

Howard was wonderful, knowledgeable and funny. Was well worth it. Fun for the kids and we all enjoyed the history. Thank you.

Amazing fun

We had a tour with Howard who was amazing at conveying the history of the St Martin’s Bells. We even got taught how to ring them! Highly recommend doing the tour (we did the self-guided our afterward too!)

Bell chiming

Tour was interesting, kid friendly, activities sheet and interactive experience, quite a unique experience. Perhaps slightly overpriced for what it is though at $18 per adult

Bell Tower a must see

Very informative presentation by Jeff - made sure everyone in the group could achieve chime. Displays are great. Information easy to read and understand. Very friendly staff.

Pert Bell Tower

This tour was very informative our tour guide Howard was very knowledgeable the views were amazing I would recommend this tour

Worth it.

Two 13 year old grandsons loved it - that says it all. Minimum of 100 characters - why? seems ridiculous, short and sweet.

Excellent value short hands on experience

We really enjoyed (trying to) learn to be bell ringers after touring the bells and listening to some very interesting history. The whole experience was both educational and fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable with a wry sense of humour that added to our enjoyment of the experience. I'm sorry that I have now forgotten his name but it was the noon tour on Saturday 15th April 2023. Highly recommended if you visit the Perth CBD.

Bell ringing extraordinaire!

Great tour learned a lot about bell ringing that I had no idea about. Geoff was the guide and made it all interesting and fun !

Bell Tower - Great Experience. To experience ringing the bells was something else

A Great experience was to ring the bells. Guided tour was a very worthwhile experience. Go in the middle of the day and also get a fabulous view.

Go ring those bells.

We did the guided tour with our guide Howard. He had so much interesting information about the tower bells and how we obtained them. We rang the bells which was not as simple and easy as you may think. The carillon was great fun and the bells were quite loud. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Perth.

Educational and worthwhile

A very nostalgic and educational experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the bell tower. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to chime the bells. Highly recommend the tour.

Bell Tower a must

The guide, Terry, was very informative and instructive. What we thought was going to be a simple presentation was made into a fun and knowledgeable experience. Who knew their was that much involved to become a bell "Chimer". I could not have rung a bell for 45 minutes, to save my soul.

Check out the Bell Tower

The Bell Tour was very informative! So many things we never knew about Bells! Also to learn about the history of the Bells was amazing.

Ok if you have some time and money to spare.

The ticket allowed us access to the highest level to catch the nice view of the Barrack street jetty, which was nice. Also able to take a close look at the bells in the tower. Customer service was nice and friendly. We enjoyed the visit.

A Perth attraction not to be missed

All over outstanding experience. Guides were knowledgeable and outstanding communicators, particularly John. Highlight was to be present at the ringing of the ANZAC bell.
