Memorable day trip.

It was a memorable trip. Our guide Mr Gordon was friendly and professional in his duty. Pick up from nearby our hotel in CBD is great and highly appreciated. However the lobster shack lunch is quite late and we only have less than an hour to enjoy. The sand boarding is fun and exciting however there were too many flies in lancelin and pinnacles. Great day trip..

Good excursion off Perth metro area

An enjoyable experience - the sand dunes are great and the wildlife park visit was brilliant, the pinnacles less so. The lunch was good too. Bring lots of sunscreen, you're going to need it.

Memorable experiences but not too much time for Pinnacles

I regret to rate this experience with only 3 stars due to a significant letdown; our time at the Pinnacles was a mere 30 minutes due to schedule delays. The rest of the tour, including Caversham Wildlife Park and the exhilarating sandboarding, was enjoyable, and the lobster shack served a delightful lunch. However, the brief stop at the Pinnacles meant we had scarcely enough time to disembark and snap a quick photo of the nearest formations. It’s unclear if this rush was to manage the various tour groups efficiently, but the limited time to appreciate the stunning geological wonders was truly disappointing.

Awesome tour

Fun ,exciting, thrilling experience in this dessert pinnacle tour.It was nice to be with this tour having friendly guides and yummy meal.

Timing the activities needs to be revised

Unfortunately I have to give only 3 stars, because I was really disappointed by the fact the we stopped only for 30 minutes at the Pinnacles, as apparently we were "a little" behind of schedule. All the rest was fine, from the Caversham Wildlife Park to the sandboarding experience and the tour with lunch at the lobster shack. The lunch was really good, actually, but when we headed to the Pinnacles we barely had time to get off the bus and reach the closest pinnacles to take at least a picture. I do not know if that happened because the bus drivers were trying to organise the different groups on the different buses in a way to avoid overlapping each other's scheduled activities, but is was really frustrating that we could not stay longer and have the chance to admire these amazing geological structures.

We really enjoyed this tour. It was diversified and “Australian”. Our tour director was knowledgeable and easy to listen to.

A great tour. Definitely worth it!

This is the second time I have done this tour with my first being back in 2011. I loved it so much I did it again on revisiting Perth. The staff are great, the tour is timed perfectly to allow you enough time at each stop so you can return to Perth by about 6:30pm. Pick and up and drop off at major hotels are included. Would definitely recommend it!

Caversham, Lancelin, Pinnacle dessert lobster shack

This is definitely worth going for. Many attractions in one day. First stop Caversham Wildlife- adorable koala, kangaroo, woombat. You got a chance to feed kangaroos, touch the animals and take photos with them. Next was Lancelin sand dune- adventurous 4x4 bus ride going through the hilly sand dune like going on a roller coaster. You then get to do sand boarding- a must try! After that headed to lobster shack in a fishing village Cervantes for lunch. Finally to the Nambung National Park to experience fantastic view of the pinnacle dessert. Really enjoyed the trip. Good narrative by the tour driver Pete.

Twas chill and fun tour

I always tour with a group of friends or with my family thats fun for me. Still I had fun even Im solo and joining with the other tourists.i love the tour the it was an educational and the driver lead us what we gonna do… its all fun love the tour.

Excellent tour and information

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided ongoing historical insights of vegetation, farming, aboriginal stories and historical challenges along the way ( guide was Pete) excellent operation and I would highly recommend families with teen children to learn and appreciate our Australian culture, embracing the good and bad I. Totality.

tour to do I recommend it

a very well organized tour, there are many things to see, but the time given is sufficient, certainly each activity would be worth staying even for half a day, but in the end you are left happy, the driver is kind, and assists you in everything, with lots of stories about the realities you are visiting

Fantastic Day in Western Europe Australia

What a great day trip! Covered so much in a little amount of time! Everything was well done & executed flawlessly! We loved all 4 stops

Good experience!

The tour driver, Rose is fantastic! Sandboarding time is too short, we are only there not more than 20 minutes. Would prefer this to be longer. Lobster shack tour didn’t complete as we are behind time (as per the tour lady). Would prefer not to visit Pinnacles desert and spend longer time at sandboarding.

Wonderful day trip out of Perth! Really glad I chose this day trip and would recommend . The pinnacles and the sand boarding 4wd drive was amazing . I could have gotten a rental car myself I guess and done these trips but as a solo traveller not having to drive/ navigate was so stress free !

Great experience for the tour

Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Just a head up that do bring some snacks for the tour. Recommend it to everyone who wants to explore 3 different places in one day.

Great day

A great day, with well selected intervening stops to break up the long drive. An eclectic mix of activities which might not otherwise have been undertaken and enjoy 😊. Bus driver/ tour guide Pete did a great job, 😊

Was a fantastic day, I would recommend this tour to anyone. Peter was a fantastic guide, who has an excellent knowledge of Perth and WA. The Pinnacles are amazing, nothing else like them in the world. The fish and chips at the Lobster Shack, were close to the best I've ever had.

A Full Day of Adventure

This was a 15 hour round trip on a luxury coach with Australian Pinnacles Tours. They go to a few places outside of Perth. I have been on a few over the past 10 years. This trip was my 3rd trip to the pinnacles. The driver was a safe driver, the coach comfortable and Brian (driver) gave a good description of the landscape and history. The pinnacles are beautiful to look at. We had lunch at Lobster shack where they have a factory and restaurant which you get an interesting tour around before eating the wonderful meal. This is really 3 reviews in one. I recommend the tour company. Oh on the way we stopped at caversham wildlife park and saw some of the wildlife which was pretty cool. There was also sand dune riding in a 4wd bus north of Perth. Which I didn’t do but everyone else did and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great Job, pinnacles tours.

Worth it

Unexpectedly, the highlight of the trip was sandboarding in the dunes - great fun for young and old. The views along the way and the Pinnacles were really amazing. In the sanctuary we could take pictures with a koala and a wombat (included in the price of the visit). The trip was well organized, the visits to the next points on the route went smoothly, and our driver and guide in one was competent, kind and looked after the group well.

A very good tour from Perth

Picked up meters from my hotel and off we go. The zoo stop with free photos of yourself with Kangroos, Koalas and Wombats was brilliant. The keepers dote on the animals and the animals seem to return the love. The lobster meal was excellent including the vegi alternative. The sand boarding was safe, easy and very fun stop. The pinnacles were not the amazing feature I expected but were nice to see. The sum total of all the events and the skilled driver/guide made this a great and well paced day.

Full of enjoyment!

It was surely more than expected! Zoo experience was excellent, sand dune boarding was also nice, and got hopped to the coach through all the way was super relaxing. Actually, I rent a car and drove to Wave rocks by myself. Rocks were stunning, yet driving 8 hours round trip with monotonous scene was a kind of torture. Thus, I appreciated my coach driver today! To conclude, it was full of enjoyment and it definitely worth to pay. It looks expensive, but in reality, it is cost-effective.

Amazing experience!

This was the most amazing trip! Our guide, Anton, was simply the best! I expected to have fun but this was seriously the best day!!

Pinnacles wonderland.

Very informative driver Bec made sure we had a great day an absolute legend. Animal park worker Laura great guide. Cervantes lobster farm was good and lunch was superb. Sandboarding at Lancilin was wonderful, guide/driver great.

Magical Pinnacles

We really enjoyed the lobster meal and the tour through the factory, we both got to hold a live lobster. We thought that was good but wow the The Pinnacles were fascinating - pleased we did this tour.

Mesmerizing Awesome

This was an awesome adventure, covered a lot of ground, special quick private tour into Caversham park to see Koalas and kangaroos, and other wildlife.Up to Cervantes to the lobster shack for tour and lunch. Then to Namburg park to see the Pinnacles, then finishing off at the white sand dunes of Lancelin ,it was a full day adventure and was handled by Adams Pinnacle tours, the guides knew their stuff, we learned a lot .

Pinnacles and Koalas

Mick our driver was absolutely amazing, very informative all the journey highlighting different aspects on the way had a great sense of humour making our tour an amazing experience. Whilst experiencing the 4 x 4 Sand Dune ride Mick turned into a Hero digging two stranded young ladies out of the Sand Dunes !!!!! Deserves a lot of Credit , due to the sun was setting, one of the ladies was heavily pregnant as well !!!

Fun day tour from Perth

Enjoyed the whirlwind tour of Caversham and getting to be up close & personal with the animals. Touring the lobster factory was very interesting & the lobster lunch afterwards was delicious! Riding the sand dunes was so much fun, great tour.

Great Adventure! Great Value!

Exhilarating trip that covers much of Western Australia, in air conditioned comfort. Hotel pick up was easy and our first stop was Caversham Wildlife Park for a “private” tour. Our group had 13 people and we were the only folks in the park. We got to hand feed kangaroos for 20 minutes. Then we got quick chances to pet a koala and wombat. And we were off. Total time in park less than one hour. Next came a 2 1/2 hour drive across Western Australia wilderness to our second location. The driver did a good job trying to keep us entertained with stories and information about what we were seeing. Still, many of us napped for at least part of the drive. That brought us to Cervantes, a quiet lobstering village of 500 residents. The tour of the processing plant was about 20 minutes long and pretty cheesy. But you could hold a live lobster if you wanted to. Lunch at the lobster shack was included. Traveler Tip: the fish and chips was better than the lobster lunch, which costs $25 more! Save time for photos at the beautiful Indian Ocean steps from the restaurant. You can even dunk your feet. And yes, if you want a beer or cocktail, it’s available there. Next stop the Pinnacle Desert. Fascinating and fun. We had an hour there. On to Lancelin, for off-roading on the sand dunes and snow boarding! The off-roading was our favorite part! 30 minutes of wild, crazy, jaw-dropping fun. Out like truck was filled with screaming people. More exhilarating than a roller coaster. It was so much fun !!! We also had a couple stops for photo ops. Shout out to driver Robbie for an amazing ride! Then on to snow boarding down the dunes. Great fun. But you have to have a good heart to climb back up after sliding down! The two hour drive back to Perth was filled with memories, sand and another nap! We spend three weeks all over Australia and this was our favorite tour! Take the tour, skip the lobster lunch. Bring a book to read for those two hour drives!

No need for improvements!

Jam packed with awesome experiences! Perfect for the time savvy trip to Perth & wanting to head slightly north out of the city. Robbie, Rose & Anton were incredibly passionate & approachable.

See them and experience them yourselves!

Pinnacles Desert was an amazing sight to see. Sandboarding and 4WD were fantastic and would be an unforgetable experience for us all.

Unique experience

We did two tours with Australian Pinnacles Tours. This one and Wave rock. I’m glad we did both but if time/money was a factor I’d do this one. It gave a great overall experience. We got to go to a very nice wildlife park and saw the typical Australian animals. We did sandboarding and the desert was amazing. The bus was comfortable and tour operators were very organised. Shout out to Rob who organised the sand boarding. You could tell he loved his job and conveyed his passion to us. The Pinnacles Desert is a unique place and highly recommend visiting when in WA. The lunch provided was good. The only negative was the lobster tour. It wasn’t very interesting and wished we would have been given time to wander in Cervantes rather than doing that tour.

Best tour we did down under

Our guide, Gordon, was extremely knowledgeable on pretty much every subject and very personable. The pick up at our hotel was easy. The four parts of the tour were all very different and gave us a wonderful sampling of areas around Perth. The wildlife park was the nicest of several we had visited. The lobster factory tour was interesting and lunch was very good. The beach and Indian Ocean were quite beautiful. The Pinnacles was something we will always remember, and the dunes 4x4 drive and sand boarding were a perfect way to end our day (Robbie was our guide and he was a lot of fun.) The scenery along the way is also worth mentioning.

The trip on the bus is around 2 hour long from the zoo to lobster shack, but our tour bus driver Jonathan has made it quite a fun trip with all the stories and histories of Perth

Great day trip

Had a wonderful day visiting the animal park, sandboarding and strolling in the pinnacle desert. The guides were so nice and helpful, offering to take photos of you etc. You get to see and do a lot in a day and you have plenty of time at each spot. Great lobster lunch too. I joined the tour alone, and made friends with other tourists during the day. Feeding the kangaroos was so fun and I loved the adorable koalas. Highly recommended!
