It was good experience and had information about Perth. Some stops were close together which means you can walk around and see things like the min.

Great Ride!

We did the entire loop on the Perth City Hop On/Off bus to get a sense of the area. It was a great introduction to areas we knew we would visit later. The narration was also excellent, giving us some basic history and general knowledge of the area.

Not happy at all

Not happy at all 1...Not friendly 2..need tell us all about Perth 3..going very fost on raod 4... bus wasn't clear at all upstairs for stilling 5.. to and 2 expensive fars

Bus tour 4*

The drive is cruisy. I had the chance to take photos at a botanic garden. I gave it a 4* as I didn't like pre-recorded guide tours. Other than that, I am still enjoying my bus ride and still on it for another 28 minutes

Not good

Seats were very uncomfortable. Too much of litter inside the bus. Was not satisfied. I would not recommend this.

A lovely tour of Perth.

The tour through the park was excellent. Perth is a very beautiful city with a lot of interesting places to visit.

Easy to obtain a boarding ticket from the driver after showing him our Viator ticket QR code

It was extremely easy to exchange our Viator ticket for the bus boarding ticket. I had saved our ticket from Viator, showed the QR to the driver, he printed us a boarding ticket and gave us earphones for the commentary and a map. Very well organized.

Great tour with amazing views

We took the tour with 2 kids and 4 adults. We love doing hop on and hop tours in every city/country. This was no different with it being an excellent tour. The facts given during the tour were very good. I would recommend this to see all the top sites in Perth.

Perth City Tour

The time we spent in Kings Park was very enjoyable. Excellent tour of Perth. Well worth the fare. Highly recommend.

Good value for sight seeing

We often use this type of bus to see the highlights of a new place before getting off to see the most interesting parts. With this trip it was good with a full trip round and the chance to see the main sights of the city with a guide explaining what to look for. A two-day pass allows you to see the whole on the first day and then visit the sights on the second.

One bus per hour here

We have done a number of these types of busses and this one only ran like 1 an hour and if you missed it you were waiting a long time for the next one. They also skipped two stops in the botanical gardens (one that we wanted to stop at to do the treetop walk) and didn’t tell us ahead of time. Later when I asked she said there was a concert and she couldn’t get in. It would be ok if we knew if the stop or two prior and we could have walked but by the time the next stop happened we were too far to walk. Kinda disappointing.

Glad we did it

Definitely a must do while in Perth, Kings Park is beautiful and has an array of things to do, very informative of every location best bit you can get off and on anytime which we did many times.

Not bad at all

We had a one day ticket including a visit to the Perth Mint, and fortunately our hotel was a pick-up point (Crown Towers). We were collected at 10:45am and dropped off 10 minutes later at the Mint. Our tour was 11:30am (they are roughly hourly) so there was a dreary wait. But the tour was great - particularly the live pouring of molten gold - quite something to see. There was then another wait for the bus - and here’s the rub - they are only once an hour which makes doing very much rather difficult. We went on to Kings Park for a nice hours walk, and then waited again….ending up getting the last bus back to our hotel. Cost for 2 was GBP£72 or US$90. Was it worth it? Just about - the commentary was very interesting but as someone else mentions the volume cannot be turned up enough - I have perfectly good hearing and I needed to press the ear-buds in on occasion to hear. We should have started a bit earlier to have got another attraction in (maybe the bell tower), but my main advice is to expect a lot of hanging around!

I would recommend this experience to a friend

The drivers were very helpful, but being of a certain age, it would have been nice to have a seat whilst waiting for the next bus!

Worth the ride.

It was an amazing experience. Saw all around the Perth city, at such an affordable price. Made sightseeing so much easier and stress free:)

Perth city highlights

City highlights were well represented on tour. Views of Perth from Kings Park were beautiful! Good commentary but audio sometimes hard to hear. Schedule was on easy to follow and on time

Perth in a day

We only had one full day in Perth and the hop on hop off bus provided an excellent way of seeing the best of the city. Buses run on time and the commentary was good and clear

Great but could not hear the commentary

We enjoyed the tour but could not hear the commentary as the volume was so low even when increased to full could not be understood against the road and ambient noise. I live in Mandurah and had not seen many of the areas on the tour.

The drivers were very friendly and helpful. The commentary was excellent and provided a great balance of insight to the relevant points of interest while giving tidbits of fun facts about Perth.

We were unable to undertake the Hop on Hop off bus tour due to reasons I will not elaborate on but recommend this tour as a great experience in getting an overview of Perth & its attractions

The big red bus

Just sitting on the bus sight seeing around Perth was relaxing, listening to the commentary with a set of earphones supplied. It was such a hot day, the air conditioner on the bus was just so good. Doesn't matter where you sit, you can see. The driver was pleasant, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you, loved how they had cold water for sale. Thanks

Good overview of Perth

This provided a good.overview of the city and highlighted places to visit. I would say that Perth does not have the iconic landmarks of other big cities and they only run 1 bus per hour

Interesting city tour of Perth

This tour was typical of such tours around the world. I enjoyed going round Perth and listening to the commentary. It helped me to orientate myself in the city. I particularly liked the section in Kings Park, but was not so interested in going to the casino.

Stop-over at Kings Park and Botanic Garden. The beautiful layout of the part was very impressive. We saw some rare flowers in the Botanic Garden. It is a very-organized tour and takes you to all important places in Perth.

Vers large tour aronde Perth so we have seen how the city is extended and airy. Kings Park is wonderfull. The commentaries are vers interesting in 12 langages.

Ignored by the drive while waving him down

Turned up to site only to be wrong side of the road and had to cross. The drive saw us crossing, we waved and we’re 10 m from the bus and he took off. He wouldn’t even look at us as he drove by. Very disappointed with the service from this driver.

What ride???????????

Pay #90+ for 2 tickets. And had to call the tour to see where they were. Was told sorry but the bus broke down and would not be running for the rest of the day. Don't bother with this ride. Lost the $90+ dollars because we had other thing's to do the next day. This was for me and my parents 50th birthday

Not worth it

Hot day no air conditioning on the bus just made a good day go bad, not much else to say really, worked seeing what I wanted to see myself a better option

The bus that never arrived

My husband and I always enjoy a hop on hop off bus and have been on many in different parts of the world. Perth's bus was great! good commentary and the driver very friendly and helpful. We joined the bus at optus Stadium (stop 4) 10.40 as we had a tour there later in the day 3.30 thinking we allowed plenty of time. well one bus broke down. the wait time in between buses was 1 hour ( i think a little long compared to what we have previously experienced ) apparently the message of the breakdown and extended wait time was relayed to some passengers waiting under shelter but unfortunately didn't reach us. We were standing just back from the sign at the stop. We found ourselves wondering if we were going to miss our tour. Eventually my husband called the number on the sign and was told of the breakdown and that someone had told everyone waiting. In the end we made it to our tour but had wasted a lot of time waiting for the bus that never came. I suppose my problem here is with the lack of communication to ALL passengers waiting. Break downs happen and we hold no grudge about that... just had we known we could have done more than stand araoaund waiting for an hour.

Visit to WA from the east coast

Great way to explore the city of Perth. Good for the inner city. Easy payment on-site as you hail the bus. Would recommend starting earlier in the morning to fully utilise the benefits of the service. Highly recommended and very informative with it's audio presentation.

907362035 If you're a Senior make sure you show your Seniors card for a discounted fare. It's a great way to see the whole of Broome. Just stay on the bus until you get your bearings.

Just sitting on the bus and enjoying the view have never been to Perth .All the different stops you could get of if you wanted to .

I purchased a ticket through Trip Advisor. The bus schedule had changed. I wasn't notified. I could not use the ticket.

Good service would be a start. Communication would go a long way. Correct information. Allowing people to get a refund when unable to use purchase through no fault of their own.

2 hour tour

Good value for money , we did know there was only one bus in service but I agree like previous posters 2 hrs is long gap in pick ups and would be nice if it went for bit longer in afternoon considering there is currently only one bus in service

Beware of limited services and times

There was a limited service (unknown to us prior to booking) and the bus didn't stop at several of the stops due to road closures. We ended up being on the bus for 3 stops in total, due to timings and what we wanted to see. We'd a long walk back to our hotel as the bus only did drop-offs at the stop we needed to get on again. Complete disappointment and waste of money.

Great city bus tour

Great bus tour went on the 09.15 and 15.15 rides! Amazing views of Perth WA. Fab to see so much I didn’t see it all on the first tour so went again to take it all in and hop off the 2nd time. Kings park is stunning, the commentary worth listening too and upstairs in good weather is super. Work every cent!! Very good bus driver - thank you.

Lost Money

We just missed the bus so waited for the next one. After 30 minutes of waiting we caught a taxi to Barrack St Jetty for our scenic cruise. When we returned, we waited for the bus to do the tour of Perth only to be informed that there was only one bus and we had almost 2 hours to wait.

Lift your game!

Great driver however only got half the service! Surely if you have a bus out of service you can hire another bus for the day (or have your own backup) Two hours between pick ups makes it hard to get around and actually view different locations. Been on many of these hop on hop off buses around the world and this is the most dissapointing!
