Fun Segway tour

We had a fun river side tour on Segway under our patient guide Winona. Initially, my wife was quite scared during the training. However, at the end of our 60 minute river side tour, we wish it could be longer. Winona is a knowledgeable guide and also can speak good Mandarin.

Totally worth it

Me & my husband really enjoyed our segway tour and would say its a must if you are visiting perth, at first we was nervous but we had training and after 5 minutes you get destracted by the beautiful views, we had Winona as a tour guide who was very bubbly and friendly and also very informative answering any questions we had. Thank you so much for the experience. I will definitely recommend

Fun way to see a beautiful part of the city

This is a fun way to see some of central Perth’s beautiful spots in a short time. The instructors are very safety conscious and so the safety briefing is very thorough. It’s easy to get the hang of the Segways quickly though. The instructors do tell you about the areas you’re riding through, but I would have liked to learn a little more about Perth and its history - although the kids loved just bobbing along. The headset system makes it really easy to hear your guide while you’re riding. We all really enjoyed our first Segway ride! If there’s a Kings Park tour, that would be great as the park is so big but so beautiful there is so much to see there.

Segways are so much fun!

Fantastic experience. I was a bit worried that it would be hard when I first jumped on the segway but with the great training I was comfortable riding in no time. Great fun, nice tour and great staff. Recommended!

I now want my own segway

Had a great time on the tour. First time on a segway and after being a bit nervous at the start - ended up loving it. Winona was our guide. Very friendly, helpful, patient and great instructor.

Fantastic Time

Had a ball on the Riverside tour this afternoon, Winona was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and it’s surroundings. A definite way to buzz around Perth for an hour.

Fabulous afternoon as we first timers mastered a Segway. Very kind and informative tour with my 78 y/o Mum. Would recommend to anyone that can stand up!

Bucket list adventure

The new experience on how to ride a Segway was memorable.Our tour around the foreshore and city of Perth provided an interesting history lesson.Decisions that were made by the early settlers set the city of Perth business district up to work functionally and as a place of reflection.

Excellent tour of the river walk area.

Beautiful scenery and excellent narration using headsets! Wish we had more time in Perth. Our cruise ported in Fremantle so we did not have much time to see everything. We'll have to return one day.

Exploring Perth riverside on segways

Great day by the Swan River with our family of four. Seth was great explaining how to use segways and after easy introduction we set off to discover some lovely parts of Perth by the river. Great experience for tourists but also for locals. Seth was very knowledgeable and made experience fun ad memorable. We will recommend this tour to family and friends as it is a great gift idea if you are looking for one!

Had a fantastic Segway tour with a fabulous Tour guide named Seth. A lovely young man, friendly and informative of where we were going and what sites we were passing. Felt comfortable with his explanations of riding the Segway.

Very enjoyable tour all round. Seth did a great job getting myself and the others on the tour used to the Segways in no time, and provided a fun yet informative commentary about the interesting attractions and history of the area. Recommended!

Seth was the highlight of our tour, great sense of humour, looked out for our safety at all times and gave us a tour of places we didn't know existed.

Great fun and very enjoyable for whole family

First time on a segway, and it was great fun. It was easy to get the hang of it. Justin was a great teacher, also a great tour guide. The whole family rated this as one of the best things about our Perth holiday.

Tourist in my Home City.

I participated and completed the Perth foreshore and the eastern part of the city tour yesterday 8.12.22, it has been a dream of mine to ride on a Segway, too be able to do that as a tourist in my home city was a complete joy. Adam was so knowledgeable and I learned things about my home city that I didn’t know! A must for everyone to enjoy.

Fabulous trip along the Swan River and through the parklands adjacent to the river. Liz was knowledgeable about the history and fun facts about each place, stopping at a great photo vantage point. Excellent re-fresher training for those that had already ridden a Segway. Highly recommend

An experience well worth doing

Being totally new to Segway we found the whole experience amazing from the training to the experience as a group of 6. Our guide explained everything and through our earphones gave us local commentary. Our only regret was that we didn't have time whilst in Australia to go back and do a different Segway tour.

Fantastic Fun

Great experience. Justin was very patient and a very good instructor as we were new to segways. Best time ever. Great way to explore the gardens etc. around Perth. Justin was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun.

Great way to see the sights

My friend and I went with Justin as our guide. Justin made sure we were feeling comfortable and confident on our Segways before embarking on our tour. It was a great way to see Elizabeth Quay and surrounds. There is so much interesting history which we learnt about on the way and Justin is a wealth of information. Cannot recommend a Segway tour enough, so much fun!!

Seeing my grand nephews (13 year olds) really enjoy their first Segway experience. The instruction was excellent with adequate practise before we started the tour.

For something special do one of these.

I wasn't too sure about doing this but I am really pleased that i did. Firstly it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The experience was great. Our guides were great. It's not cheap but as a special out of the ordinary experience it is absolutely worthwhile. We will definitely look to do the Rottnest and Kings Park Skegway tours in the future.

Lovely, fun and informative

My wife and I enjoy riding Segways and have been fortunate to have used the in various cities around the world. We discovered Segway Tours WA Perth, near to our hotel in Elizabeth Quay so we booked in to a tour of the Quay. Our tour guide was Jill (segway Springs25), and after the standard briefing and assessment we began. The tour lasted for a bit longer than scheduled .and was fun, informative and we thoroughly enjoyed the time. Money well spent. JIll is a great tour guide and we can't speak more highly about her. Thanks Jill. We hope to do the Kings Park Tour as well.

I'm addicting to do this activity. Justin, my tour guide, is very patient to assit me as a new beginner in segway. I have great time and really enjoy the tour. A guide will explain to us the history in swan river. Today i joined 1 hour tour, visited secret waterfall in the city of Perth. I really recommend you to put this activity as an one bucket list that you need to do while you are living in Perth

Thumbs up for our guide Amy at Segway Tours WA Perth!👍 Thank you! 😁 Perfect conditions on Friday saw three of us learning the ropes in our training session and it took no time at all to be confidently twirling around our learners' slalom course and off on the trip. Despite being WA locals we learnt lots of new things from our lovely guide, Amy, about Elizabeth Quay and the surrounding riversides, had a lot of laughs and it was just brilliant fun! 😁 A new experience for a couple of us but none of us wanted to hand our Segways back at the end! Definitely want to do it again and thoroughly recommended for everyone!

Great fun. Well organised. Cameron was a great teacher and within a short time we’re able to negotiate the Segway to experience the rude. Can’t wait to do another tour

First time Segwayers !

Great experience. These guys did a great job to train your before heading out. The tour itself was great and took you to places you don't realise are right in the middle of the city. The tour guide was brilliant and full of local information. We'll be back for one of the other tours

Much easier than you may think

My wife and i are in our 60"s and this was our first time on a Segway.... Its much easier than it first looks and after a short training session your good to go ! Jycara was a fantastic Tour guide and was very knowledgeable about our city of Perth and made it easy and fun to learn to ride a Segway. Slight issue with the earpiece cutting out and crackling a bit but this did not spoil the fun

Heaps of Fun

Don't take an hour to walk there before doing the tour ... lol ... Justin was our tour guide and we really appreciated that he adapted for us. He gave an excellent pre-tour tutorial on how to ride a segway. We picked it up quickly (both athletic but mid 50s). We were mainly interested in "riding" so instead of wasting time on stationary tour location details (which we didn't really care about), he was flexible because we were the only ones on the tour. Highly recommend but bring your own water and definitely need to slip slop slap when outdoors for an hour or more.
