Horse Riding -Evening- in Paros

My experience

The horseback riding was a typical trail where the horses all follow each other. The views and setting was perfect. It was a beautiful relaxing ride. Very enjoyable. The only thing is we were all experienced riders and walking was the only option.

Beautiful sunset ride

What a beautiful and peaceful experience with a truly lovely guide, Danai (sorry if it’s spelled wrong!) We were so high up in the mountains —had a gorgeous view and a glorious sunset. Great way to view Paros —and the horses were lovely too!

Family Greece trip

The view of the sea from atop the mountains as the sun was setting was memorable for a lifetime! Although finding the stables a bit challenging, it was well worth the effort to get there! The horses were well trained and the view was spectacular but the people leading the business is what sets it apart

An amazing time!

We had a blast! What a beautiful way to see a sunset! Our legs were a little sore afterwards, but we loved it!

Beautiful Ride!

Everything about this experience was perfect. The horses were well cared for, the owners were knowledgeable and helpful, and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommended.

Stunning. 10/10 experience

This was the most memorable part of our trip to Paros. It was truly stunning. I had never been on a horse before but they made my wife and I feel very comfortable and safe. Will hopefully have a chance to do this again the next time we visit Paros. Just book it, you won’t regret it

Loved it, no notes!

Amazing ride! I am a more experienced rided who took the trip with inexperienced riders and I've found the track to be enjoyable for all levels of riders - with a fair bit of a gentle trot and a lot of terrain changes. The horses are so lovely, well trained and very friendly. Gorgeous guide who even rescued us from getting lost on a way! The views were stunning and it felt like getting a dose of real local life. Overall, the only thing that could make the experience better is if it never ended! :D Thank you! Great experience, perfect at sunset!

Great experience but not for the faint of heart! If you want a casual stroll along the beach then this is not it. Turns out that horses are amazing at traversing moutains and steep rocky hills. Once you realise how much you can trust them, you are able to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains and sunset, but initially it is a baptism of fire as the start of the route is pretty hairy! The host was amazing and extremely experienced. Really enjoyed it, whilst overcoming the nervousness! Note: wear long trousers over shorts and wear trainers over sandals. Our legs skimmed a few bushes!

The views were amazing and I loved the horses! It was the perfect amount of time and beautiful time of day. Be prepared to be sore the next day!

Amazing administrators

Wonderful experience with beautiful views of the ocean and sunset! The family that runs this excursion is so kind and friendly. They even helped call a taxi for us afterwards. While we waited for the taxi we just chatted with the family and could have easily sat there and talked much longer.

Breathtaking and enjoyable experience

This is a family own business and they really go all out to make sure you enjoy the experience. We did it at sunset and the view was stunning. The guides were constantly engaging the riders with jokes and tidbits about the history of the area.

Amazing ride and the most knowledgeable staff

Had the best time on this ride, the instructors were so knowledgeable and it was inspiring to see them with the horses. Would go back ASAP!

You won't regret it!

A must do when you're in Paros! The experience was both exciting and chill especially during the evening as the sun sets. Lovely horses and especially lovely family running the business who have a huge passion for it!

ABSOLUTELY MUST DO!!

This was an unbelievable experience that I think everyone should do!! We rode the horses up and down the countryside, passing a bunch of olive farms and farm land. The views were impeccable and the sunset was stunning. Would do this every night if I could! The family that runs this school is so welcoming and sweet and made this experience even more wonderful. You can tell they love horses and animals and are very knowledgeable.

Unforgettable horseback riding into the antiquity of Paros!

Absolutely amazing experience! The guide, Stelios and one girl, were so helpful and resourceful to lead everyone to ride the horses in a beautiful & elegant way. The ride took about two hours and we got to see one of the most beautiful sunsets ever on top of the hill on our way back. The horses were very nice and taken care of, overall the view of Paros combined with horse-riding is a 10/10 experience.

Beautiful

The scenery was unbelievably beautiful! Our guides were so nice and helpful. I will say that I probably wouldn't recommend this if it is your first time ever on a horse. You get thrown into it very fast.

We got a flat tire with our rental car so they came and picked us up, Which was above and beyond. The views from the mountain were beautiful and our guide was knowledgeable.

Horse riding

Great ride watching sun set! Would highly recommend this tour however be careful using GPS. We ended up on top of a mountain.

Gorgeous views

The views of the tour were amazing. The people were very knowledgeable. My partner had never riden before and after this, he was down to go home and go riding all the time. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys riding.

Okay experience - too expensive for what it is

The views were amazing and the sunset was stunning. Definitely picturesque. However as a horse rider I feel as if the horses weren’t trained properly. They didn’t follow cues well. Also if you have never trotted before it could be dangerous and there were times we were trotting for quite some time. I feel as if I paid a premium price for a below average experience. You literally ride an untrained horse for an hour. And it’s cheaper to pay in person than online.

Great adventure in Paros

Nice family run operation. Everyone was very friendly and took their time making sure everyone was comfortable on the horses. The ride lasted just under 2 hours as we watched the sun set over the harbor.

2 hours of beautiful nature.

Gorgeous views and beautiful horses. Explored residential areas and mountainsides with sea views. Loved it all. Guides were kind and helpful. They also gave a homemade drink at the end.

Horrible experience would NOT recommend

Impossible to find meeting spot. Horrible communication. Felt unsafe on my horse as a beginner. Would t give me a refund. Would NOT recommend this company.

Horrible experience didn’t even end up going with group and no refund

Very hard to find. Bad communication. Not good for a beginner rider. I felt unsafe and they wouldn’t give me a refund. Language barrier and horse was walking away from group and I felt afraid. Would strongly not recommend this activity in Paros.

Amazing Experience

My husband and I had the most amazing time horseback riding in Paros! The host and his wife were so kind as they offered us food and drinks after our ride. The sunset was beautiful! Would definitely recommend if you are traveling to Paros!

Book directly instead - but great tour!!

It is best to book this tour directly with the company providing the horse rides (Paros horse riding). The original cost will be about half of what you pay booking through trip advisor. Otherwise the tour was incredible and the tour guide was very friendly and welcoming. Horses we very well behaved!

Gorgeous ride!

We had a fantastic ride. The sunset views of the bay and of the beautiful fields and hills were great. Afterwards they shared some homemade cherry liquor and bread with us, which was delicious. Not a lot of instructions for the riding, but very fun, highly recommend.

Afternoon horse riding

We took the afternoon horse riding tour around the hills and mountains near Parikia. We were greeted by Stelios, an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide who made us feel at ease from the start. Our tour lasted a couple of hours and it was a relaxing and unique way to see parts of Paros otherwise missed by many tourists. Once we arrived back to the start, we were offered melon, drinks and even some home made grappa which was delicious! The hospitality was incredible and we couldn’t recommend this tour enough. It’s a must.

Walk not to be missed

Incredible walk, very well supervised, breathtaking landscape at sunset, very friendly! Small drink offered at the end. Thanks to the organizers for helping us find a taxi :)

Wonderful experience

Very nice care and beautiful views. The horses know what to do and so it's not a problem if you have no idea how to ride. The paths are a bit steep in places though, so you just have to put your trust completely in the horse, they manage it very well. Nevertheless, a wonderful experience, thank you very much
