We had a fantastic time! This isn’t just a wine tasting, it’s an education. I leaned so much about wine from the making of it to etiquette etc… even a little about cheese too! Nicola was great, definitely knowledgeable and really wants you to have a good time and learn as much as you want to. Highly recommend!

Nico is extremely knowledgeable regarding all aspects of wine (not only French but globally) and imparts his knowledge in a very relaxed / friendly manner. We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon wine tasting and learnt a lot - and that's from someone who have been drinking wine for many many years :) Without hesitation I would recommend this wine tasting experience to anyone who is planning on visiting Paris.

Very educational and fun experience. Learned about the different colors of wine and what they represents and how to correctly hold a wine glass and identify flavors. Very good experience and would do it again.

Must do in Paris

We began to learn how to pair wine with food, history of where wine produced, tasted incredible wine and incredible cheese. Nico is a wealth of knowledge. We highly recommend.

Was a great experience, we had great conversation and enjoyed the fun, the wine was amazing and the pairing was fantastic we have done a lot of wine tasting and wine itself is very subjective just like life, but its about having your perceptions challenged and then exploring different things , this indeed we did a can't say we converted my friend to white but to be honest at least he tried.. next time we meet maybe will be le Stad de France.. for now we'll give it to our Gaelic bro he knows his stuff on wine! Highly recommend 👍👌

Great Wine Experience!

A great experience! We had a great host that was very informative and entertaining. We learned about and sampled some very good wines paired wonderfully with different cheeses that complimented them. And of course bread! It was a great evening and I would recommend this experience for any wine connoisseur while in Paris.

Nico was excellent. He was very knowledgable, engaging for the group and funny too. The information and history for the French wines was excellent. His selection of the cheese parings and whines was most outstanding. Thanks and this is not an experience to be missed!!

Had a great time at Nico's wine tasting! We learned a lot about wine history and tried a great range of wines and cheeses. It was a laid back, conversational atmosphere with a small group - overall a really enjoyable experience, I would recommend it :)

Culture difference or wine egoist spectacle

Horrible! This host exaggerated facts it seemed he lied about facts and charisma seems fake and highly opinionated for many cultures , it’s too shocking for a wine tasting. Cheeses are budget I am sure. There is something strange about his personality, he says it’s because he French but my group thought he arrogant. He has more attention to womans in group tasting

Fantastic, Fun, inFormal, Tasting: A Must Do!

Amazing 2 hours spent tasting wines you can only taste in Paris. What was exceptional was he pulls from his own cellar and goes with what the group desires- especially once he gets to know the direction of the tasting group. The right amount of wine explanation, along with how to taste and most, importantly, how to enjoy the grape and recognize what you are drinking. Good for beginning wine "enjoyers" and for those who study wine. I would go every week if I lived in Paris. Loved our tasting. The cheeses were yummy, too!

Outstanding tasting. We are not professionals by any stretch of imagination but we do enjoy a good glass of wine. Nicholas was great, witty, entertaining and we certainly learned something. Wines were great and so was cheese. Thanks Nicholas!

Parfait!

Nico provided a comprehensive, seminar-like experience in a soup-to-nuts fashion. For me, it was a tad overwhelming but my wife kept up well as we learned about the different regions of France and the wines they produce. We left with a much better knowledge of how to choose and enjoy our next bottle if wine. Highly recommend!

Words can't even describe how amazing this was. Me personally not a wine person at all, I hate pretty much everything wine related in the US. But when in France you need some wine. These wines were hand selected for us based on the crowd he had that night and every single wine was impressive and very good all around. He is a great teacher and gives a "lesson" over wine for the first little but of the experience. He gave me more information about wine in 25 minutes than I've learned in years from other samplings or personal research. He pairs a cheese with each wine which makes you want to go on a cheese and wine diet for the rest of life. Everyone was quiet at first but had the whole room laughing and enjoying themselves by the end. 15/10 would recommend and would with no doubt do it again if I make it back to Paris!!

Completely uncomfortable experience, Nicolas seems to think he knows everything about cultures. Very opinionated as another reviewer said. I looked his certificates up he says he has on Linkedin and they don’t even exist. I guess you have to fake it until you make it Paris right. Nice wine and cheese but dishonest lying owner

Fantastic experience.

I have been to a lot of wine tastings in France and Napa Valley. This was by far the most informative (but not in a boring way!). Nico is very knowledgeable and funny. The cheese paring was impeccable and the wines he selected were outstanding.

This truly is the only wine tasting event that you need to go to! You will not be disappointed! Not only are you tasting some of the finest wines, and understanding wine etiquette, but you get a history of the French wines.

We were one of 3 pairs of tasters and there was a wide variety of "skills". Nicolas easily adapted and made it fun and educational for all! A great variety of French wines and cheeses! He made us laugh and he made us smarter! Wine nerds? Go! Wanna be's? GO!

Good time, good wine.

The wine flowed freely, more than I could drink. Knowledge about wine was extensive. The cheese was awesome. Only complaint is I had difficulty understanding the heavy accent.

Can not count on the staff to show up

The wine shop folks never showed up and none of us waiting for 30 minutes after the start time were informed of a change in plans. They didn’t respond to messages or answer phones. Go elsewhere for wine tasting. You can’t count on this shop.

Amazing - don’t miss this!

We did a cheese and wine tour through Tripadvisor/Viator. It was a great tour, slightly on the higher of price but it was worth it, and really good value for money! The wine was all delicious, and paired perfectly with the cheeses. Nicoles was really knowledgeable on his wine and cheese and made the experience really memorable. It was an amazing way to spend the afternoon and we highly recommend 🥰🍷🧀

Wine tasting with Nicolas was the highlight of our holiday! He is hugely knowledgeable but also made it really fun, so we learned a lot but also really enjoyed ourselves. He tailored the wines to what we liked, whilst also educating us about the regions where they are produced and what sort of foods they pair well with. I would definitely recommend this wine tasting experience to anyone visiting Paris!

Amazing experience

This was a very intimate and unique setting with the host. It wasn't scripted and the host let you have a choice of the wines. We had a great time and would definitely recommend, this activity is one that we won't forget.

Very knowledgeable when...

Very knowledgeable when it comes to wine but didn’t enjoy my experience. Very opinionated when it came to Americans, I did not book for his personal opinions/ knowledge about anything other than wine! Very intense class room like experience. Tried to say he was honest when he was flat out rude. Would not recommend.

A Must do while in Paris!!

Nicholas was Amazing! We scheduled this while on our recent visit to Paris, and learning about French Wines has been a goal , he really helped us learn so much in such a short time! The pairings and the wines were some of the best ever. This a must on your list when in Paris !

The most informative wine tour I have ever had!

This was an amazing tour. Nico was so knowledgeable on tasting and the entire wine industry and as a former professor had a great way to transfer the knowledge.

I went with my young adult son and daughter. We learned a lot and enjoyed delicious wine. Nico was knowledgeable and a pleasure!

Encroyable!

We've taken a lot of wine classes but this was by far the very best. Nicholas educated and entertained us during a free-flowing class that was developed according to the personalities in the room. We learned so much but it was really about how to judge and pairs wines instead of relying upon printed wine articles. It was very hands on. The true test was our ability to go out for dinner and comfortably select a wine to pair with food. At one restaurant, the waiter complimented me on my selection, telling me I made the perfect choice. Nicholas is a treasure. His class was definitely one of the top highlights during our 2-week stay in Paris.
