Worth the extra $$$$

The instructions were a little confusing from the tour operator. You need to go in the security line that says ticket holder and then once through that line you’re inside the gates, you go and find the ticket holder ahead of the line space. Then you stand in line once again shortly to get through security and show and get your ticket scanned. It was totally worth spending the extra $ to get ahead of the crowds. Although the lines for the lifts were lengthy. Wonderful experience at night before sunset and watching the tower light up and then sparkle!💖

Got nothing for our money

Vague description of where to meet tour guide. Went around the tower several times and saw many tour groups but not ours. Called Viator who could not contact the tour guide or company. Missed whole thing. Bought our own tickets after long line in the rain (had paid for skip the line tickets). Very disappointing.

Overpriced

This booking was a rip off, which I was forced to purchase since the official Tour Eiffel website appeared booked out during my stay. I paid more than double the normal ticket to then receive a narky response on whatsapp when I asked a question about the Audio Guide. Sure, the detail I asked was in the original message, however that was super long, and for the cost of this, I would have appreciated something more than "read the message I sent".

Canceled on us multiple times…🙁

I received confirmation, even paid, but was cancelled multiple times, hung up on once after a 45 minute call. Horrible, frustrating, upsetting. We finally booked with another company and it went smoothly as I had expected from your services. I am struggling to recommend Viator again, which I have always done in the past.🙁

Disappointing and possibly misleading

All a bit misleading. Thought we had booked the lift up but when looking on tickets it said stairs...the vocabulary used is a little bit ambiguous I have to say, but put this down to my mistake, although I did query it. Tour operator then came back and offered us new tickets that were apparently lift only.....great we thought!! However, it was only when we got there we realised the new tickets they'd sent were stairs only again. As for skip queues, not sure if again we missed something here, but we had to queue for quite a while with "tickets" to get in. Anyway, taking the stairs isnt all that bad, but just be careful what you book - oh and I feel £200 for this option is rather expensive!!!

It’s important to understand what you’re getting with these tickets. It’s hard to get tickets to go up the Eiffel Tower if they’re not booked a long way in advance. We missed buying them in time so had no choice but to book a ‘tour’. The skip the line relates so not having to queue to buy tickets. There are currently 2 security check points (because of the Olympics I think). With having already got tickets you can join the ‘have pre booked tickets line’. This may be shorter but for us in May UK half term there wasn’t a queue for either. Once inside the tower area your ticket is no different to others. I showed our ‘skip the line’ tickets to the guard at one of the tower entrances and was just directed to join all the other ticket holders with the same entry time as us - at the back of the queue! Likewise at the next security checkpoint there is no difference. Although for us it was quite quiet so it made no difference. Once on the tower there is no skip the line from level 2 to the top. One queue was massive and one was really short so worth checking both sides before joining a queue! We were lucky and didn’t need to queue much anyway but it’s important to understand there might be a fair time queuing even with these. The Audio tour isn’t great. It’s audio files to download in advance and listen to on your phone. Not practical unless you don’t mind running a phone battery down loads on a sightseeing day. Also doesn’t work when it’s adults and kids who want to listen but don’t have phones. I’d assumed it’d be headsets we picked up from somewhere so again just making you aware. All in all we had a great trip and buying these meant we knew we’d get up the tower so it was worth it.

Worth the money

Was a great experience, ticketing process the instructions on what to do was great. Going through all the checks was easy and quick. Audio was good and very helpful. Overall we a fantastic day and I recommend.

Very nice experience

Went to the tower with my mother. It was breathtaking. A very beautiful view. We were at the lift at 8pm, there was still a queue because of the many people but it didn't take that long - about 20 minutes. The audio guide is also nice to have.

Keine Gipfeltickets bekommen

Wir haben leider keine Tickets zum Gipfel bekommen, erst wurden wir hingehalten (die Tickets kommen morgen, dann wieder morgen...), letztendlich wurden Tickets zur 2. Ebene geschickt, angeblich wäre der Lift zum Gipfel geschlossen (der war aber offen...). Sehr enttäuschend und nervig.

Magnífica excursión que no se pueden perder al ir a Paris.

Todo muy bien, llegamos y enseguida entramos sin hacer cola, bonita experiencia, tuvimos buen tiempo, no le doy las 5 estrellas por falta de información, ya que deberían avisar que las entradas llegan una semana antes de salir de viaje, por lo demás todo muy bien y recomendable.

Pas trop d’attente. Belle vue au sommet avec des délicieux macarons et du bon champagne. C’était vraiment génial
