Private Sidecar Tour in Paris: The Ultimate Monuments Experience

Fantastic Family Experience - Highly recommended! 💯👍

I booked a sidecar trip for our family on a Sunday morning from our apartment. Simon (owner) communicated via email with lots of tips and restaurant recommendations and kindly put together a bespoke trip for our 2 hour experience as we had done some sights but not others. Having ticked off a few things by foot the day before, we were all happy to hop on the back of a motorbike or in the side car. It was a fantastic, relaxing way to take in all the Parisian architecture and various areas whilst being chauffeured in the open air. We all loved it. The kids (ages 13 and 12) loved the novelty and even enjoyed the historic sights and Simon’s knowledgable descriptions of monuments and their historic significance. Simon and Jean (driver no2) picked us up from our apartment at 9am and welcomed us with croissants and pain au chocolates! Very thoughtful and much appreciated! If you are considering booking one of these tours or a bespoke one, do it. It’s not the cheapest way to get around the city but it’s an experience to remember and lots of fun!

Amazing Txango motorbike and sidecar tour

The ParisTxango motorbike trip was absolutely amazing. Praveen and Fidel were such good hosts and the whole experience was such good fun. They were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable and whizzed us around Paris. When booking the tour Simon was so helpful and always replied promptly to my queries. We will book another trip next time we are in Paris and we would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience

You really haven’t toured Paris the right way if you don’t book Simon! This tour was AMAZING. Idk what was better…the photos, the history, the top notch customer service??? All I’m gonna say is BOOK NOW! I felt like I was on an episode of Sex in the city.

Best idea for seeing the monuments

This was an amazing tour. Our guide was very safe and prepared for the downpour we encountered. He gave us plenty of time at each Stop for photos. He had a lot of background knowledge of each location. It was really fun.

Great way to kick-off 5 day visit to Paris

SImon was very helpful during the booking process - answering many questions in advance. Praveen and Fidel were great guides. We travelled from California and booked the Monument tour for our first afternoon. Although we were quite tired, it was a great way to see Paris, while exerting less energy for Day 1. Would recommend highly!

Do not miss this experience

This was the absolute most fun way to get an overview of the monuments. My family had a blast. Felipe and Praveen were excellent tour guides. I was nervous about putting my kids in the sidecars but they were excellent drivers and navigated the Paris streets with skill and safety. They adjusted the tour for us to go to an ice cream stop in there too. This was a highlight of our trip. I only wish I did it in the beginning of the trip. I would suggest to do it up front for a good overview!

A morning to remember

Wow. My Paris Highlights tour with Fidel was incredible. To travel around the historic spaces of Paris by sidecar is a thrill that it is hard to top. My guide was really helpful and so informative, sharing all those little histories you only get on a personal tour. So much to say it's hard to describe how great this tour is. It's cool, it is informative and it's unique. An absolute pleasure. I lost my Dad earlier in the year, and he was really into historic motorbikes. I took the tour on Father's Day to remember him, and it was the perfect way to celebrate Dad. Thank you!

Fun experience

This tour was fantastic. The driver, Fidel, went above and beyond in tailoring the tour to my wishes. People were drawn to us and it was very easy to get them to photograph me. They even wanted to get in the picture!

I will start with the bottom line: THE MOST UNIQUE, FANTASTIC, INFORMATIVE WAY TO SEE PARIS!!! We had limited time in Paris so was looking for a way to see the highlights with an experienced guide while not breaking the bank. Based on a recommendation, we found Txango Tours. Going in, we didn't know what to expect. Simon, the owner of Txango Tours, was extremely responsive during the planning process. He was flexible in the itinerary due to the location of where we arrived in Paris the day of our tour. Simon also helped us with restaurant recommendations in the planning process. While in Paris, we were lucky enough to have Simon as our guide. The uniqueness of this tour is second to none. The tour is efficient and quite informative. Unlike large tour buses or cars, we were able to make our stops close to the Monuments while having GREAT photo opportunities, with a dedicated photographer to boot (your guide.) Thanks to Simon, EVERY aspect of our tour, from planning to execution, was FANTASTIC! You will not find a better way to see the sites Paris and the surrounding areas!!!

Fabulous Day With Fidel in Paris!!

This sidecar tour has been on my bucket list for years! Today was about as close to a perfect day as I have had in a long time. Fidel knows his facts about Paris and I learned things I did not know before. Plus, we felt like such celebrities as we passed through Paris, waving and smiling to people. This might have to be a regular booking for each future trip to Paris. We asked Fidel about recommendations for lunch after our tour and he suggested a restaurant that was outstanding. No disappointments today whatsoever (other than the time went by too fast)! Thanks for everything Fidel!!

It was such an incredible ride with Txango tours! Our guide Praveen was just fantastic. He is just lovely, kind, a great photographer and a leader! He also knows his history! Fun and Unique Tour

Really fun experience and great way to get introduced to Paris. Lots of interesting anecdotes mixed in with essential facts. Definitely gets noticed with thumbs ups and smiles from passersby as you wind through the streets. A highly recommended memorable tour.

Must do in Paris!!

My mom & I were 1st time visitors of Paris. We booked this tour in our week long trip across France and UK, this was definitely our highlight. Simon was our guide and he we very welcoming and helpful with all questions. English was perfect, professional and full of history of each monument/place we traveled to & from. Motorcycle was comfortable and CLEAN. We provided helmets, gloves, and blankets if necessary. Our next time back to Paris, we will definitely use this company for another tour without a doubt! Amazing Tour, unique experience!

We LOVED our sidecar tour with Simon. It was the first day of our trip and definitely kept the jet lag at bay. We all loved zipping around the major sites on the bikes. The kids loved being in the sidecars. Simon and Paveen had great information, history and fun stories to share at every stop. This was the highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend this tour.

Brilliant experience

My son Daniel and I had an amazing 2 hours with Simon. As we are regularly in Paris Simon gave us a custom tour taking in areas that we had never seen before. Simons knowledge of Paris is incredible. What struck me most was the number of people who stopped to stare, smile and point as our bike and sidecar roared past. It really is a unique way to see Paris.

Truly the most memorable part of our week in Paris! Simon knows how to make the history of Paris fun and interesting. You haven't lived until you've gone through the roundabout around the Arc de Triomphe in a sidecar (no lanes!). Don’t hesitate to do this! You will feel totally safe and it is the BEST way to see Paris! Simon runs a tour that is fun, teaches you history, and speaks to your particular interests. Not the same old views everyone else gets. I would jump back into that sidecar in a heartbeat!

My son and daughter-in-law gifted a monuments tour for my birthday. Simon is a great guide! Aside, the sidecar is surprisingly comfortable. I was able to stretch out my legs and it was amazingly easy to get in and out. I really appreciate Simon's personable approach and his sensitivity to what the customer is looking for.
