A passion for, and knowledge of, food

Davide, our tour guide, is passionate about food, making this the best food tour I’ve ever been on. (And I do a food tour every time I go to a big city). Of course the food itself was great…it’s Paris! But Davide provided us with well-curated choices. Most importantly his narrative included lots of information and lots of charm. Davide exudes knowledgable enthusiasm and I’d venture to say everyone on this tour had a great time (and a full belly).

Arturo made the tour!

Arturo was the best! All the stops were wonderful. We loved the neighborhood of Le Marais. Croissants, Macaroons, Chocolat, French onion soup all wonderful.

Wonderful Tour

This tour was a wonderful experience. Davide was an excellent and entertaining guide. He provided a lot of very interesting information, not just about food but about history as well. We sampled a variety of delicious French food. I highly recommend this experience.

A fun way to see the city!

Art was a wonderful tour guide! He took us around the Marias neighborhood and we were able to try a variety of foods. I loved how much knowledge he had on the history of the area and foods. He also had many great recommendations for places to eat after the tour! After this experience I will definitely be integrating more food tours into my trip.

Lots of food!

This was our top tour we did in Paris! The tour guide was very informative and fun along with lots of food. We liked how there were many stops but the food was into portions so you had enough of an appetite for the whole tour. Our favorite was the tea and the crepe!

FANTASTIC tour with Emily!

My sister and I took this tour in Paris and had such a great time. It stopped at all small family owned shops and restaurants and we tried a variety of delicious food (not just standard French fare)! Our guide Emily was passionate, funny, and very knowledgeable about Paris and the food. This tour is a must in Paris and Emily was the best guide!

Awesome!

Wonderful tour! Dave was the perfect host. I didn't expect to eat basically breakfast, lunch, dessert and wine! I would recommend Dave and this tour to anyone coming to Paris.

The walk makes you hungry, but it's worth it.

Alice was a great group leader. She was friendly, knowledgeable, English was good, had lots to say about the area (3rd and 4th) the tour was at in general, not just food. Loved the variety of shops/restaurants we stopped at.

Great tour with Davide

Davide was amazing! Very insightful and interesting perspectives on the culinary world, and we loved the different representations of french food provided. He was funny and we had pleasant conversation talking about food, culture, language, and more!

Culinary delights with an educational spin!

Our food tour of La Marais was incredible! Our guide David was both intelligent and humorous and had interesting stories all day to share about the neighborhoods. , the food or his personal experiences. This tour was the highlight of our 2 week vacation in France. Loved that each place we visited was a small business. The food was to die for and plentiful. Do not eat anything before you start this amazing journey through Paris’ culinary delights!!

Lots of fun. We always seem to enjoy these small group food tours…trying local foods and meeting new people. This was another fun tour. We did not get full on this tour as we have on many previous food tours we have taken, but it was quite nice.

Great experience. Tons of food!

Toma was a great guide and we really enjoyed our food tour. We made 8 stops, and had more food and wine than we expected. We never would have discovered the vendors without her guidance. Definitely worth the time and money.

Great variety- Great guide!!

Our food tour was fantastic! David our guide was knowledgeable- personable- had so many fun facts about the area and the food. The group was small (9) so easy to work with- the selection was excellent. We would do this again!

Fantastic Food Tour

We had a wonderful food tour with Juan. Juan was a great guide, friendly, fun and full of knowledge. Juan took us to some of the very best venues in the Marais neighborhood of Paris. We learned the interesting history of the area and especially the Jewish Quarter. We tasted so many varieties of food - macaroons, chocolates, croissants, onion soup, Moroccan tea with vegetable crepes, cheeses, wine and more. Everything was delicious and very filling. You will not be hungry after this tour!

Lovely tour!!!

This was unanimously voted our favorite Paris experience! Our guide, Arturo, was the best! The food was awesome, with some unexpected twists. Arturo taught us about the food and the history of Le Marais. He was full of tips and suggestions. We highly recommend this tour and strongly suggest it be taken towards the beginning of your trip, I wish I had known some of the info sooner. 12/10 recommend.

Fantastic way to spend a few hours.

Toma was an excellent guide and teacher. Our group had a ball! I was amazed at how much I learned. Now I know how to buy, eat and serve cheese.

Well worth it.

Antoine gave us an unforgettable tasting tour. His knowledge of the history of the area coupled with his extensive knowledge of the foods and the area were quite impressive. All that and his overall fun demeanor made for what was possibly one of the highlights of our Paris trip.

Went in this food tour, it was terrific. Lots of food to try and our guide “Art” was terrific! I would definitely recommend.

Tour Guy Was Amazing

Our tour guy, Juan, was amazing! We were in Paris for one day (came from London where we were staying). We wanted to see the Eiffel Tower so that is where we went first, which we had already purchased tickets for. We checked the distance and time from the Eiffel Tower multiple times when planning our trip and the day before around the same time just to be sure and every time it provided plenty of time for us to catch an Uber to our meeting place. Not this time. We sat in one little area packed with cars going every which direction for at least 20 minutes. Needless to say, we were late. We started to try to catch up which seemed impossible so we asked a local where would be a good place to eat lunch. On our way to the restaurant we ran into the group!! We were allowed to join and still got to experience 5 of the 8 stops. Juan was great. Full of knowledge and very, very helpful. Even getting us through the subway system which we had not done before and is preferable to taking an Uber (especially when they are prepping for the summer Olympics).

Awesome walking food tour

Alice was an excellent tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and personable! The weather was beautiful, the amount of walking was just perfect, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!

Give your good taste a workout!

Our foodie tour through the Marais district with Obukiewe (I hope that's close, sorry) was very enjoyable and she was very informative and personable.

Incredible experience

David was our tour guide and he was what made this tour bringing the history, culture and food of France together with passion and fun! We had the best time exploring food and learning about French history and culture through Le Marais. The food was divine. The settings were amazing even though the weather wet. Thank you David for making this experience more genuine and real tying it all together with your own personal stories too. Well worth the tour!!!

We learnt so much from our fabulous guide, Anton, about food and French history. Great sense of humour. Food samples were amazing.

Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. I just felt that the dessert spots should have been last after wine and cheese.

We planned our stay in Paris around this tour and it was a great decision.

Great tour with Davide. I read the other glowing reviews about his Devour tour and they are spot on. Highly recommended for a wonderful 3.5 hours in Paris. We stayed at the Hôtel Du Vieux Sale which was an ideal location to pair with this tour.

Awesome Food Tour!

Food tour was outstanding and Vanessa was exceptional. Really provided interesting facts about the buildings on the tour and the food. Wide variety of food all of which were fantastic. Highly recommend and really could not have asked for a better guide.

A delicious layover in Paris

We spent just one night in Paris on our way to Istanbul and opted for a food tour instead of revisiting the main tourist sites that we had already seen on our previous visits to Paris. There is always something new to discover in Paris, and our tour with Antoine was perfect. He was very knowledgeable about authentic French cuisine and the Marais neighborhood in Paris. We enjoyed it a lot and highly recommend it to anyone.

Our guide Khosi was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to try a wide variety of food including a wine tasting at the end.

Delcious and informative tour!

Davide was fantastic! This was such a fun, informative tour and the food was incredible at every stop. Le Marais is charming and seeing it through the yes of a guide and the local shops serving their fantastic culinary creations was such a treat. It was my last day in Paris and I'm so glad I ended it with an expertly guided tour, fun tour mates and a fun guide! Highly recommend the tour.
