Can’t Miss Activity in Paris

Arthur is one of a kind. Truly the highlight of our Paris experience. The beautiful sights of Paris are one thing, but the commentary and photos Arthur took for us took it above and beyond for us. My family is English speaking Americans and that wasn’t an issue at all. We had a proposal onboard and he did everything he could to make it as special as possible (music, video, best angles). I mean this with full sincerity, you cannot come to Paris without doing this boat tour.

Unfortunately disappointing experience

We were really looking forward to our river cruise as part of our trip to Paris and were ultimately pretty disappointed with the experience we had at this price point. To get it out of the way, we got unexpected rain during the cruise and that definitely impacted our experience, but it is not the reason for the negative review, as we know the tour operator has no control over weather. We had three primary frustrations with our tour experience. First and most overwhelmingly, we were looking forward to using the tour as a way to learn more about Paris and the landmarks we would be passing while on the boat. While our guide was friendly and shared some information with our group, he did not have material prepared to share the history about most things we passed. Most of the things he did say and teach us relied on us asking questions and prompting him for information. Second, despite our guide starting the tour by highlighting that he would take photos for us at multiple spots throughout the course of the cruise, we finished with photos from only one location while the other groups in our tour all got photos at 3 or more locations. Our guide did say he planned to take photos of us passing by the same sights on the return trip, but after we got stuck in the pouring rain, that was no longer an appealing option. We were frustrated because the other couples repeatedly got cycled in front of us and ended up with lots of good photos before the weather rolled in, and our patience ultimately left us without the photos we were hoping for. Lastly, while we completely understand that the operator cannot control or predict the weather, the lack of preparation for and response to the rain storm that popped up was disappointing. Our guide remarked that at this time of year it is very common for rain to pop up unexpectedly, but the tour company had no towels, blankets, ponchos, etc. for us to use. Furthermore, there was a shade/roof at the front of the boat, and when we asked if we could open it he said it was not possible, so we were left without coverage. Finally, after we were completely soaked and finished the tour, our guide made a lighthearted comment that we should come back later in the summer when the weather would be better, which despite his intent was incredibly frustrating given how much it cost to get to Paris and do this tour. We really struggled with writing this negative review because we know how hard this business is and don’t want to unfairly impact their small business endeavors, but ultimately felt that other travelers should hear about our experience so they can make an informed decision. While the service was friendly and the boat was lovely, we simply did not feel our experience was worth the comparatively expensive price we paid to be on a semiprivate tour.

Seine River small private boat cruise

Rado was a great host with a good sense of humor . The champagne , cookies and chocolates were a nice bonus .

Private Cruise with Capitan Rado!

This was more than we expected and Capitan Rado was worth every penny! Because of the Chinese president visiting Paris, there was a lot of traffic which made us 10 minutes late for the tour but Capitan Rado waited for us very kindly. He gave us a passionate and fun tour of the Seine, complete with beer, wine, water, champagne and some sweet treats that his sister baked. The boat was brand new and beautiful. It is an amazing way to see Paris and I highly recommend.

Beautiful views!

Our boat trip down the Seine river was so lovely. The views were amazing and seeing the Eiffel Tower at night is spectacular. Our tour guide was so good. We highly recommended using this company.

A wonderful tour that the “big boats” can’t match

We had a wonderful time! Our host provided a knowledgeable and friendly Seine River tour that included a generous spread of refreshments to enjoy throughout the experience. We made several stops for individual and group photos in front of landmarks. They delivered a wonderful time that the “big boats” simply cannot match.

A great private experience on the Seine

We booked this experience as part of our honeymoon and we are so glad we did! Artur’s son was very friendly and provided a wonderful assortment of drink options and cookies for us to enjoy. We were one of the only small/private boats on the Seine on a Friday night which made it even more cool, truly one of the only opportunities to get to experience the Seine in such a private and personalized manner. We highly recommend!

Beautiful trip and wonderful guide/driver!

We really weren’t sure what we were getting, this was booked with our travel agent as part of a two week itinerary so we didn’t have all the specifics and kind of thought we were going on a big boat with hundreds of people. We were having a tough time finding it, so I called and next thing I knew this polite boy on a bike found us and walked us to the boat! I was a little surprised when it was smaller, just because we didn’t realize what had been booked - but what a wonderful surprise it was!! A true family operation! The owner and his daughter were our drivers/guides and were wonderful. We were on a 9:30lm cruise and it was just beautiful! The owner was great, but his daughter was a true gem! Loved her! Book this trip - you wont regret it!

Enjoyable trip on the river of Seine

Private boat-tour on the river of Seine was an extraordinary experience. Artur was very hospitable and we enjoyed our trip on the river very much. He is also a great photographer although that is not his selling point. Make sure to be there on time. Paris-traffic is very busy.

Lovely family-owned business creating unforgettable experiences on the seine

This is a lovely family-owned business that provided us a safe, lovely, fun, and unforgettable experience. Truly cannot convey the care and attention that was demonstrated by Artur and his son before, during, and after our boat ride. It was a bit chilly that evening and blankets were provided for us. We learned a great deal about different structures as we passed by them and were able to take gorgeous photos. If your tour is shared with others be aware that they provide a lovely experience capturing photos of everyone which does require shifting seats fairly quickly so everyone gets that picture perfect moment. In regards to arrival: Please listen to Artur's insight about departure time and be sure to give yourself plenty of wiggle room when arriving so that you can find the boat. Lastly, I think what impressed us the most on our shared boat tour was that both parties (group of 3 and group of 2) all consisted of women and Artur waited with us at 11pm as we waited for our ubers to arrive. It was just going that extra mile that blew us away. They truly took great care with us. I would easily repeat the experience again and can't recommend them enough. Thank you Artur!

Nice trip

This small group tour was beautiful! Arthur took many wonderful photos of everyone (free of charge). Only reason we did not give 5 stars is b/c we were a little “turned off” by his political & religious opinions that he shared without prompting (NOT that we disagreed but felt it was not the appropriate time & place). He clearly is not a fan of the US.

Fun night on the Seine!!

The tour director was extremely friendly and very outgoing!! It was a beautiful way to see the city. He was also very thorough with his knowledge of the buildings along the bank!!

Wonderful experience

A wonderful experience and a truly extraordinary way of really taking in Paris. I will never forget it! Artur combined information with a lot of humor - and with his informal ways he also charmed our teenagers and they loved the trip! And we were really impressed with the serving and it higthened the experience even furter🤩 We have been takling about the trip many times afterwards and I reckon we will also continue to do so. And it’s almost so we want to do it again when we come back, then in the evening. So we really loved it👍👍

Personal experience away from the crowds

Artur was a very caring boat captain and guide, wanting to give us the best experience possible, including capturing photos of us in ideal sites along the Seine while keeping within the limits boats are permitted. We saw all the sights, enjoyed snacks and drinks but were in our own cocoon, away from large tourist crowds. Just be sure to dress for a boat and arrive in time to find the starting point.

Fun on the Seine

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun, We laughed, shared personal stories of our families and enjoyed the homemade tea and cookies while seeing the wonderful sights of Paris.

A sunset to remember

A great way to see the sites of Paris. Artur was the perfect host. He has a lot of knowledge with a great sense of humour. Artur and his son definitely know great customer service with all the little extras at no extra charge. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Magical Sail on the Seine

Our Seine boat cruise with Artur was the perfect way to end our Paris trip! It had been raining during the day so we were preparing for our sunset cruise to be canceled or at least not have much sunset to see but the weather cleared up just in time for a magical sail with his gift of phenomenal photos to prove it! Artur was a fantastic host and we would highly recommend sailing with him!

Best tour in Paris

This was the best tour we booked. We rang in the New Year aboard the Le Fleuron and Arthur made our night an unforgettable one. He took the best pictures too! The views of Paris from the Seine are breathtaking. When in Paris book this tour. You will not regret it.

Excellent river tour. Don't miss this!

This tour was so great. I'm so glad we did it. Arthur was a wonderful host. He shared good information about the landmarks that we passed, and he took lovely photos. Although we expected it to be cold on the river, and so we dressed very warmly, it was still colder than we were expecting, so be sure to dress WARM. Arthur had a pitcher of hot tea, as well as cookies and a selection of cold drinks available for us, as well. The hot tea was excellent and helped warm us up. We are a group of five, and wanted a tour from the river. This private tour was the right choice for us, instead of crowding on to a mega-boat with dozens or hundreds of others. A great tour, a different perspective on the landmarks that you are used to seeing from ground level, and a very nice host. I strongly recommend this tour.

Great afternoon on the Seine.

Our trip started off a bit on the wrong foot when we arrived about 15-20 minutes late (it's a longer walk and more out of the way than we had planned) and our guild, Arthur, was a bit annoyed with our tardiness. But he slowly forgave us and provided an entertaining tour, captured great insta worthy photos of us all, and treated us with champagne, beer, and fun stories as well. I would 100% recommend this tour!

Private boat ride

Absolutely amazing tour. Highly recommend. An absolute must do! Our Tour guide was amazing. He is a lovely man. His English is great and has a lot of of valuable knowledge about Paris and it’s sites. We gained a lot of knowledge about Paris and managed to see so much of the city in a single tour. The tour was a lovely length. We saw sunset as well as the Eiffel Tower sparkle. Our tour guide took lovely photos of us and airdropped them to us immediately after the boat ride which was lovely. He is a very talented photographer. He really pays attention to detail which made the experience even better. He had blankets and pastries and drinks and umbrellas for us. The food and drinks were a lovely touch! The pastries were delicious and the tea so tasty! Highly recommend this above a ferry!

Best Boat Tour on the Seine - worth every penny!

The perfect way to begin our vacation in Paris!! Artur, our Captain, was personable and knowledgeable, making our ride on the Seine a memorable one. He takes time to tell you about the landmarks along the way and took professional photos which he then airdropped to us - this is part of the package. Also had drinks and some wonderful pastries (made by his wife!). Thank you for a special trip down the Seine!

A fun two hour river tour.

Artur looked after us very well and took some wonderful photos. His knowledge of Paris and the sights along the Siene was appreciated. We had a semi-private tour with a nice young couple (Justin & Monica) and there was plenty of space.

Amazing boat cruise

The boat tour was the highlight of my trip to Paris. Artur was a friendly and personable host. The photos taken by him were amazing and such a good memory to take back home. Highly recommend this boat cruise over any of the larger commercial ones!

Once in a lifetime experience! Stunning 😍

Absolutely astonishing! Artur is a true hero and totally made our engagement night ☺️ he was great with communication over text, he provided the exact location, was waiting there to pick us up and was a superb boat driver. Blankets were provided, alongside a big bucket of different drinks (champagne, wine, beers, water, etc), some really nice biscuits, hot sweet tea, some sweets and a speaker to play music if we wanted. The river tour literally went all the way up and down the main part of the Seine so we were able to see all of the river sights (Eiffel tower, countless bridges, Musée D’Orsay, Notre Dame and more). Artur even slowed down on the hour to wait for the Eiffel Tower to sparkle! He took some amazing photos as well with a great camera he had on his phone. These are memories we’ll cherish for ever. If you’re on the fence about booking it - DO IT!! You won’t regret this once in a lifetime private tour of Paris 😍

Best River cruise in Paris

This is the River cruise to take in Paris. It is intimate, we saw all the points of interest without fighting the crowded large boats, the the driver was charming and knowledgeable. If I could give this venue a “6” I would!!!

Unique private experience boating the Seine

What a unique and special way to cruise the Seine. Just us and our host, Artur. Communication before and after is excellent. Artur goes the extra mile to help out. Arthur’s son helpful in collecting us when we walked past the meeting spot and helping up and down the steep steps to the boat On board generous drinks and snacks, and Artur is great company. His quality photos are an added bonus to remember this special day. Absolutely recommend this experience.

Lovely "small group-sized" boat tour offers unique view of Paris, a must-do activity!

Fabulous tour along the Seine -- had an amazing view of architecture (including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay, and more. Our host and boatmaster extraordinaire had lovely snacks and beverages, and a ready stream of interesting stories and fun Paris facts. Definitely a 'must do' for your Paris visit. Much better to have the personalized small-boat experience than crowding on the other mass tours!

Recently I had the pleasure of Artur’s private tour with my family on the Seine river. I can honestly say that this tour was one of the most memorable experiences for me and my family. Artur was extremely entertaining, informative, and funny. He provided us with free drinks snacks, took professional pictures, and kept us in great spirits during the entire tour. Amazing tour

Great tour would highly suggest our guide was amazing! Really cares about his guests. He went the extra mile, didn't serve just water. He had other beverages and snacks. He was very knowledgeable about the sights he showed us and fill of laughs.

Great experience. The tour was amazing, private with a whole new perspective. Much better than a traditional cruise. The entertaining conversation and pictures were a total bonus. A must do!
