Embracing New Cultures with Love

All the experiences were wonderful, but one stands out- and that was the French Accordianist. The scenes along the Seine along with the classic French music made our 25th wedding anniversary very special.

First rate dining experience

The food was exceptional. Far better than I had expected for such a large number of people. The wine, too, was extremely good. The accordion player added the jollity.

Lovely lunch cruise

Great activity. The food pleasantly surprised me, really tasty, nice wine, lovely atmosphere. Amazing service, lovely live music, clean. Had a great range of young to old people. Very happy:)

Great food, service and a luxury cruise. Travelled with a group of 3 friends and was the best use of time to see all the sites whilst eating/drinking.

Wonderful birthday treat

We'll organised check in and comfortable waiting area. Very short walk to the boat and being shown to our table which was beautifully set. Excellent service and the menu options were varied. Food hot and tasty, service very good and wine chilled perfectly. As the weather was gloriously sunny this added up to the perfect lunch. Paris in October was at her best.

Delicious lunch, fabulous cruise

An elegant lunch served by friendly staff and the unbeatable views of Paris landmarks! A lovely cocktail and wine plus a great dessert.

Worth the price

We had the reservations, but understanding where to go once we got to the boat landing would have been nice. You do want to get there by noon to check in and board. Our views were great. The lunch and wine were nice. A bit more information about what we were seeing would have been nice. The wait staff was very nice. They were out of Coca Cola on our trip. It was nice

Never Again Will I use Bateaux Mouches

A Seine River cruise has always been a highlight of our several visits to Paris. We were really looking forward to our first time on Bateaux Mouches. Contrary to some other reviews, the boarding process was organized and smooth. When our server came to the table with a single bottle of white wine, we asked where the red wine was for my wife. In the advertisement we purchased the cruise from it said we would get a half bottle per passenger. We called a manger over and she corrected the problem. The food was almost inedible. As one other review said, a frozen meal would have been better. We had chicken which must have been prepared yesterday and kept in the open air! As to price, the $88.00 price on the Trip Advisor site I am posting this from was 110.00 Euro on the site I purchased the trip on. Next time I will read the Trip Advisor reviews before booking.

Highly unsafe !

We would highly dissuade people from joining this tour . The queues were not controlled , people were pushing against each other and there was no count of the people boarding the ship. It looked very unsafe . We left asking for a refund because of no guarantee of safety , nor organization , no safe space between people.

Don't be late

We were and missed the boat. Very disappointed that a partial refund or credit toward a later ride was not available.

Hen party experience

I booked this trip for 13 ladies for part of my sisters hen party. It was easy to book and amend if needed. Check in was easy and fast. The table service was exceptional, food was delicious and the boat was perfect. The trip was a truly wonderful finish to our weekend. I highly recommend :) thank you x

Uncomfortably hot with poor food & lacking information.

Food was not tasty, lack of information, and uncomfortably hot. Our wait staff didn’t address us until after the table next to us had their appetizers (even to provide us our missing table setting and water). We each got different food items, but the meat was tough and the vegetarian lacked flavor. Bread and desserts were average. No information was provided on where at the Bateaux Mouches we were to receive our redemption ticket. Our table was not prepared for us and the staff had to find another chair. We were provided a map of the attractions of interest, but no one informed us of what we were seeing as we passed (No, on your right is the xyz.). Although the boat seemed to have air conditioning we did not feel any of it and all of us were heavily sweating. Potentially due to the location of our table.

The highlight of our weekend in Paris.

We booked this trip the day before and at a price of £70 per person we were expecting something fairly basic. In fact, the boat was really good quality, the food was mostly very pleasant and the staff were good. There was a generous allocation of wine and water and seeing Paris from the river was a real treat. Despite having been to the city, several times, we have never taken to the water and it was the highlight of our weekend. Really good value and well worth booking.

Slightly overpriced but worth it.

Wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but have to say that we were all very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent from the moment we sat down and the food was very good. The cruise up and down the river could have been improved with a commentary pointing out places and sights but understand that it would probably would have to be over ten different languages so easier not to. I think it’s slightly overpriced but I guess everything is in todays financial climate. Having said that I’d pay the same again because we had a great time and it’s one of the highlights of our four days in Paris.

Good value.

Scenery, food and overall experience was a lovely way to spend a few hours. Only negative is it was a little confusing at check in. Otherwise I recommend it.

Not one for a warm day!

The actual cruise is a lovely way to see Paris but it was a very hot day and we were obviously on one of the older boats so no air con. Everyone was sweltering in the heat, glass roof so it was like sitting in a green house. We eventually moved to a table at the back which was cooler. There was ample space there so we couldn’t understand why they seated people in the hotter space! A lot of people spent most of their away from their table to try and stay cool. The food is just ok, I would recommend doing the normal tour and bringing a snack/picnic rather then paying for this experience. As I say the cruise and views are lovely but the other elements just made it all quite stressful.

Birthday treat

The table service was good. A lovely two hours on the Seine. It was my daughter's 23rd birthday and a good treat she appreciated.

You could do much better for the Euros charged

Directions to site, Food left a lot to be desired, a frozen meal has more taste, it would have helped for Simone to explain what we’re seeing and again Food! Way over priced for the value!

River cruise

Not a good experience. Food was mediocre. Ambiance was lacking. No commentary during cruise. Very disappointed.

Nice lunch cruise

We had a lovely lunch on this cruise. The wait staff were wonderful. The food was delicious. The cruise was timed perfectly from beginning to end, we were not rushed at all.

Nice experience

It was excellent in every regard. Service was attentive, food was well prepared and the signt seeing was very fine. Perhaps a little pricey but what isn’t in Paris.

Lunch along the Seine River

We had a fabulous 3 course meal with the beautiful sites along the Seine River. It was our first day in Paris and it gave us a wonderful feel of where what sites we wanted to visit. We would highly recommend this tour!

Luxury Lunch Boat Cruise

Absolutely amazing! I booked this as a surprise for my husband with not that much expectation, but it ended up being a bigger surprise for me! A very luxury experience, food was delicious and the staff were incredibly. We queued up early and got first table pick, which was right at the front of the boat giving us an amazing view. The food was brought out at good times giving us a break in between each course. We even got a whole bottle of wine + glass of Kir. At the end of the cruise we were not rushed at all and got a chance to go to the top and take pictures. Everything was so perfect and this was the highlight of my Paris trip. Thank you to this amazing company.

Highlight of our Parisienne weekend!

We had the most fabulous experience on board one of the bateau mouches boats, a completely relaxed and un-rushed fabulous tasty lunch, a live accordion player serenading everyone on board and a window table even though we only booked the day before. This company are professional & know just how to treat their guests. Don’t think twice about booking this fabulous experience; this was the highlight of our anniversary weekend in Paris!

Relaxing! You felt like you were living in history!

The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower were right there in front of you! You were living in history!! It was great!

Nice trip, food was...

Nice trip, food was decent, I really liked my shrimp appetizer and the dessert. Nice scenery, even though it was rainy. I'd recommend to others.

Great relaxing time

The cruise boat was big enough for many people, nice set of tables by windows, food was ok, great scenery for great photos in Paris. We had fun time and I strongly recommend to friends and family.

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money on this! The boat ride was uneventful and the food for lunch was awful. Paris has so many wonderful restaurants and terrific food. This food did not measure up. The glass boat was hot...no air conditioning. The drinks, appetizer, and dessert were fine but the main course was awful. I wouldn't waste your money or time on this.

Great way to see Paris’ sites

Our family booked this trip because it covered lunch, the sites, and to accommodate my dad who is in a wheelchair. The check in process was straight forward and boarding was fine. Getting to see the sites as we sailed by was a highlight.

Great value!

Wonderful experience and great value. We took the lunch cruise and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The trip comes with a pre- meal aperitif, bottle of wine for two, very good dinner and a great dessert. All while floating along the Seine. You will not regret this especially if you're a couple. Bit of advice: don't wear anything too hot, the glass encasement makes the dining area warm if there's any sunlight.

Best Birthday Ever!

We arrived in Paris on January 9th for my friend’s birthday. We dropped our bags at our hotel and rushed to the boat. Everything was perfect. I included a picture of the sparkling wine\champagne that was served with our meal and was hoping I could get the name. My friend loved it and I would like to get her a bottle to remember the trip. Can you help us?

A Must Do in Paris!

This lunch cruise was a fabulous way to see so many of the famous sites and buildings. The boat was spacious and elegant. Great atmosphere and ambiance. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Best duck I think I have ever had in my life! Highly recommend!

relaxing

Food good. Setting beautiful. BUT ... you really couldn't see anything form the boat but statue of liberty and top of eiffel tower. Nobody pointed out when we were going by them, and most of them were behind other buildings. Very disappointing. Staff was wonderful. Was very relaxing.

Exceptional

Booked for a group to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday and couldn't have been more impressed. The staff at the dock were great and provided a nice printed map and menu ahead of boarding. The food was great, and the service was well timed and didn't feel rushed. The accordion player was a absolute delight (!) and remained happy and engaging for the entire duration. Boat route was great allowing viewing of all the popular sights and the enclosed area meant you could enjoy lunch regardless of the weather, but also had the opportunity to go to the viewing deck on the roof for a better view of the surroundings. Would highly recommend the cruise as it was a great treat for my mother and enjoyed by all parties, plus they even brought out a cake with a sparkler to help celebrate her birthday with us. Thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks.

Great setting and good staff. The bad bits are the food that is pretty poor. For a bit more effort or expense it seems a shame that it’s so bad. Awful wine as well. Music good and a good atmosphere on board. I would recommend going but do not have big expectations.

Over-priced

Once an original idea that is now operated as a money-maker. Efficiency abounds here, food has no character- the truth in France now is, nobody actually cooks a local cuisine. The corporate model has taken the joie-de-vivre right out of this nice idea gone strictly commercial. Staff were 'nice enough'- if mask-wearing customer service is your thing. The waiter at our table was enthusiastic, but only with one member of our party, to the exclusion of the other person. Once the boat is underway, the design of the glass over-structure boat really blocks views of, say, Notre Dame for example. Photo opportunities don't really exist, unless you like looking at it with the visual disruption of the boat's support beams and light reflecting off the water throughout the screen of any photo attempts. Yes, a map of the order of iconic architecture is included, but in a rather sensually loaded tour experience, between water, light, food, atmosphere, etc., an auditory guide would be useful. Just a reminder the next historic interest is coming up, kind of thing. I left the experience feeling like I'd spent a chunk of change, 80.00€, on a blah after-affect. Not one of the better quality moments of my last day in France, at the end of an extended visit.

Great Seine Experience

Mum and I booked this trip as part of our day in Paris and I'm really glad we did. We were initially disappointed that the menu offered on the day was not the menu advertised on the website but the experience and food made up for it. The experience was fabulous, from the accordion player to the courteous and attentive waiter. The glass covered boat was warm and comfortable and each if the 4 courses served was delicious. The cruise was leisurely and enabled us to chat, eat and see the sights along the Seine. The music provided by the accordionist was relaxed on the first part of the journey, then after a short break, he returned and upped the tempo and he also sang, which got people clapping and singing along and some got up and danced. Lovely 2 hour trip, well worth the money and if you're celebrating a special event, this would be an ideal setting.

Absolutely lovely experience

Really glad we did not get put off by some of the negative comments on here... this was a really really thoroughly lovely experience in every way. Service was outstanding from start to finish. Food was perfectly ok, but tbh you don’t do something like this for the food, if you want top gourmet food go to a restaurant. Boat was clean and tidy and arranged in a charming way, and travelled down the Seine at just the right pace allowing us to take in the spectacular sights. I would definitely do this again and we are now looking forward to trying the evening trip!

A perfect day and a perfect cruise

This was such a wonderful experience for my wife and myself. It was our second last day in Paris and it capped off a wonderful week in Paris.

Lovely lunch tour of the city plus an excellent meal

I was very happy to have booked this as I knew the weather might not be so good that day. After getting down to the port where Bateaux Mouches have their boats docked we found ourselves seated at a nice table with Champaign and a great three course meal. I will say the presentation was excellent as well as the food. There was a number of birthdays being celebrated and it was very nice that they had a musician who went around to help everyone sing happy birthday. The tour itself was very nice and although our particular table had a slight obstruction, there was plenty of viewing at a lot of angles. It was nice to relax, eat, drink and have the highlights of the city pointed out to you. Tourism made easy for us first timers in Paris, and I might add, at a very reasonable price compared to some of our other tours. There was a photographer who offered to take pictures and they were nice and not too expensive. Probably one of the best meals of our trip and we both enjoyed it immensely. I do recommend the tour company and this cruise. Enjoy!

If you are in Paris you got to do this!

Excellent experience. We had Paris cruise on the River Seine with Lunch. This was one of the high lights of our trip, Food and ambiance was exceptionally amazing. Entertainment was one of those true French E VALLA that you may see in movies. We had a great time our server's name was Moussa, His English was perfect which made it that much easier for us and we had no compliment about the service.
