The Star of The Show Was The Horse!

The coachman was professional, courteous and patient. He was forced to park in an area outside the normal due to the open field by the Eiffel being blocked off to protect it until the Olympics. Our USA phones were not working all that well, yet he patiently waited for us. As we were heading back to where the taxi dropped us off, there he was. We were 15 minutes late, but he still gave us our full trip and was very engaging. His horse followed perfect commands and made his way through rush hour traffic! What a thrilling experience - we highly recommend this experience. Follow his directions for the meeting place - he will give you an address and will be there when he comes from the previous ride!

Perfect Parisian Night

This was an incredibly dreamy experience riding through Paris in a horse drawn carriage. A draft horse is used to pull the carriage and the horse was incredibly smart. The coachman instructs him throughout the journey which was impressive in 4-5pm Saturday night traffic. It draws a lot of attention, which I didn’t expect since this is a tourist location and this is obviously offered on Viator. But, we ignored that and just enjoyed the journey with the cozy blankets and champagne :) Highly recommend.

Beautiful experience, we brought our son and we all loved every minute. The horse was incredible and calm. Such a unique way to see some of Paris, highly recommended.

Very fun carriage ride

Amazing ride. The coachman was very friendly and the ride was smooth. He gave little history lessons about some monuments around Paris as well.

This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to see Paris in style. My teenage daughter and I both agree it was so special and so much fun. The coachman was a lovely man and the horse was just beautiful.

SCAM

We showed up 10 minutes late for the carriage ride because of Paris traffic. The horse & carriage was not there. We called Viator and was told the meeting spot was different from the original directions. My wife went there: no horse and carriage. I stayed at the original location until after the ride should have been concluded; no horse and carriage. I asked two other tour operators if they knew anything about the horse and carriage ride. Both pointed to the same spot on the Champs de Mars as it location and both said that they had not seen the horse and carriage all day. I am not happy!

Utterly breathtaking

The best experience we had in Paris. The carriage was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The path was magnificent, with beautiful views serenely enjoyed. The champagne was cold and crisp and lovely. The kids enjoyed it, and we had a romantic evening. But also- it was nearly ruined by the your previous making an error, and the driver waited for us and calmed my nerves. He was kind and patient and wonderful. And his horse! A gentle, gorgeous, massive Clydesdale with a fantastic personality who lowered his nose so my son could pet him without needing to be asked. The horse was healthy and strong and radiant- clearly well loved and well kept. We felt so good leaving the tour!

Best Way to see Paris!

What a great way to see Paris, we took this tour myself, husband and horse obsessed 8 years old daughter. Was collected on time and then rode around Paris for an hour seeing all the sights. I was pleasantly surprised of how much we saw and our guide was great at pointing out sights and stopping at a couple for pictures. The horse Otis was lovely and made my daughters trip. Would highly recommend this trip.

The most romantic day trip I ever had in Paris

This was my first day trip in Paris. The tour operator organised us to meet at the east pillar of the Eiffel Tower. The meeting point was changed close to start of the tour because there were constructions at the Eiffel Tower. My family and I had a hard time finding the place and was about to give up. The tour operator kept on giving us instructions how to get to the meeting point via text messages. When we finally reached the meeting place, there was only 20 minutes left of the one hour horse and carriage ride. The driver negotiated with us to pay more so that we can have the complete tour. I was very happy that I agreed to his offer. It was the fantastic journey as he showed us the the main tourist attractions in Paris. I felt like I was back to the medieval time and I was the princess in a carriage. We were greeted and waved at by many people as they saw the handsome horse and carriage passing by. It was so romantic and I was overwhelmed by this wonderful experience. The driver was so awesome. He even took some photos for us with the horse. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Paris for the first time as this is the experience of a lifetime you don’t want to miss. I would definitely take this tour again the next time I visit Paris.

Couldn’t find our ride

Could. It find him didn’t go on the ride! We walked all around for one and a hour and half hours. We even paid a taxi to drive around to try to find him. We were very disappointed we payed and didn’t go on it.

This is where it’s at! We booked it for my parents 20th anniversary as they renewed their vows and they had such a blast!! Pierre was wonderful and gave them the BEST tour around Paris! Pierre and his horse will give you the best view of Paris like you’ve never seen before, and you’ll feel like royalty all the way through town!

The driver was on point and communicated with me the day before to make sure everything was good on my end. Excellent Job! We enjoyed this very much, make sure the weather will be good on the day you want it before booking.

The most romantic part of my trip

This was the last of my bucket list wishes. It was fantastic and I would tell anyone looking for an hour of romance in Paris to try this carriage ride. Truly amazing.

<p>This was absolutely wonderful and a must do for any romantic couple in Paris. It was raining and we thought it would be miserable but the rain stopped and we were able to enjoy our ride. We had the extra option of a bottle of champagne as well which we did. To see Paris this way was so different going through little streets we didn't even know about. Our driver Phillipe gave a little commentary on certain things as well. He was wonderful. We were in Paris for our honeymoon so this was the highlight for us even after everything else we did. Love love loved this experience</p>

<p>Only thing I would change is meeting point. sloshing thru the mud left a little to be desired. not the easiest meeting point to find. call the carriage driver for directions were greeted by rude, aggressive directions. He was truly my only rude Frenchman experience. he did soften up when we got there. obviously he's more of a horse person than a people person</p>

Due to some works around the Eiffel Tower we would advise those interested in doing this tour to know what leg of the tower you will need to meet up with the horse and carriage. There were five of us, one up with the driver and it was such fun seeing the iconic sights this way. Make sure you wave to the Parisians they will respond!</p>

We spent the first 10 minutes just going through some backstreets without any word from him and we started to wonder if we had got the wrong tour! We had a blanket which we definitely needed in April!</p>

We did a sunset time which was great for pictures but it was during rush hour traffic which was interesting. We might pick a different time or do that one on a weekend when traffic is lighter.
