Our walking tour with Jill was fantastic!

We loved over tour with Jill! She reached out a few days before our trip. We told her the kinds of things we liked (history, culture, boho fashion, hidden gems), and she curated the perfect 4 hour walking tour. We started in Le Marais, walked to Bastille, the 11th, the Latin Quarter and ended back at our hotel on Ile St. Louis. Jill is passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed spending time with her, learning from her and feel like we made a new friend here in Paris!

Nice intro to Paris

We had a intro to Paris walk w Ewan. He kindly waited for us when it took us longer than expected to arrive due to re rioting of traffic for upcoming Olympic Games. It was a nice walk and way to start out trip Honiara looking and learning things at many of the sights starting Place de la Concorde then through a bit of St Germaine ,Latin quarter and finish near Ile de le Cite.

Great way to see sites with limited time

Del met us at our hotel and it was obvious she had read our requests for sites to see and tried to work as many of them in as possible. One request we had was to learn the Metro system, and she patiently got us all set up with that. She took her time to let us browse in Montmartre, our primary destination, and buy a few souvenirs. Her command of English was wonderful, and made it easier on us. Despite the rain, we had a great visit. I will recommend your tour company (and Del). If I'd known what I know now I would probably schedule two separate 4 hour "tours" a couple of days apart so we could explore on our own inbetween and then fill in the gaps. Glad we found you!

Paris walking tour

We had a great walking tour of Paris in early June. Jill was great! She was very flexible and accommodating to our interests, level of experience in Paris and specific requests. She was engaging, passionate and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!

Pleasant easy walking tour

Rene was very polite and accommodating to the pace we wanted. It seemed he was somewhat inexperienced as a tour guide but he does know the history of the area. We especially enjoyed the Monmarte portion.

HIGHLIGHTS OF BARCELONA IN 8 HOURS

I booked a marathon full day tour in Barcelona to visit Park Guell, Mont Juic, the Sagrada Familia and sites around the city. We were blessed with OMID as our tour guide the day sped by. He didn't just give the bare minimum description of what we were visiting. He shared local history past and present to describe his lovely city, to point out the importance of tourism on the local economy, explanations based on politics. It was a wonderful day that we will remember forever because Omid chose to share some of himself with us. Thank you from the Lynda Family of ONTARIO CANADA.

Enthusiastic & upbeat tour of Paris

Del met us at our hotel right on time. She immediately took us to iconic Paris landmarks near our hotel. She explained many aspects of getting around Paris including guiding us on the subway. We went to Montmartre (where we requested to go) and gave us in-depth information on the history of the area showing us landmarks and taking excellent photos. Her enthusiasm about continually learning more about Paris and its treasures was uplifting. She showed us things like where Van Gogh, Picasso and other artists “hung out” and what their life was like in Paris. She suggested additional things we could do and provided information on how to visit them. Her tour was a highlight of our trip to Paris. I highly recommend Del and this tour.

It was a great time! Pierre was knowledgeable and kind. We got a really solid understanding of Paris neighborhoods and the metro.

Great Private Tour of Paris with Pascal!

My family and I visited Paris last week, and booked a 3-hour Private Paris Custom Tour. Our tour guide, Pascal was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable and lots of fun. We learned a lot and had a great time. I highly recommend Pascal and the City Unscripted Private Paris Custom tour! When we return to Paris, I will definitely book another tour with Pascal and City Unscripted!

Not what we hoped for

We were hoping for a tour guide with intimate knowledge of Paris from a locals perspective. Unfortunately, our guide had lived in Paris for only five years. French was not his native language which was very disappointing to us. My wife, who studies French, was hoping to speak with a Guide who spoke a purer French. Our guide did not know the name Viator and asked us for payment. We had prepaid so this was awkward. He was very nice but this was not the experience we had hoped for.

Engaging Paris

We covered a wide range of interesting facts about Paris from antiquity through today. The tour guide had a broad knowledge base of the history of Paris and gave thorough, interesting stories about many different places in Paris.

Knowledgeable and flexible

We were only in Paris for 3 days. Rene met us at our hotel, and showed us around the neighborhood for a few hours. He helped us navigate the area, and gave us suggestions for the remainder of our stay. This was a great way to start the trip.

Simply amazing Paris private tour!

Our tour with Igor was amazing!!! He had so many memorable and Interesting things to show us. He had worked diligently to give us a tour tailored specifically to us. His love for the beautiful city of Paris was evident by his knowledge of the city and its history! WE could have toured with him for many hours more! His enthusiasm was contagious !

Wonderful adventure with Pascal our new family member

Pascal was fantastic!!! We left Paris feeling like locals thanks to his tourist experience and hospitality. His planned guide for us that day was beautiful 😍. We plan to return and bring friends. Our guardian angel

Our tour guide Del was outstanding. Enthusiastic, optimistic, very accommodating and very street smart. She made sure to look out for my husband and I while guiding us to see the main sights. I was especially appreciative of how she spotted and stopped a pick pocketer who tried to remove something from my purse. She sternly looked at the pick pocketer, grabbed her hand and said “What are you doing!” The startled pick pocketer quickly exited the train. Thankfully I didn’t lose anything. My phone, cash, credit cards and sun glasses were safe thanks to this courageous act. Thanks to Del our first visit to Paris was filled with nothing but great memories and excellent pictures that she took. I highly recommend her as a tour guide.

Enjoying Montmartre

Jill gave us a wonderful morning exploring the Montmartre region. As we requested, we walked everywhere and she showed us how central our hotel was. The morning flew by and she got us into our art galleries for a quick walk through and gave us a great history talk in the local park. We got back to the hotel with lunch from a local patisserie. I highly recommend Jill and this tour company. The company responded so quickly to our enquiries.

Fabulous tour with Delishiya!

Delishiya was amazing - knowledgeable, fun and she really understood what we were looking for - an off-the-beaten track tour of the Marais neighborhood, the Jewish highlights - a Temple, Anne Frank garden and Holocaust memorial, the best falafel in town, and a wonderful bakery - plus fascinating historical churches and buildings that are now museums and libraries, wonderful little cafes and vintage shops. Plus she gave us great tips for further exploring and evening activities and an app to help us get around Paris on our own. She is a gem, and really added the perfect touch to our Paris Ian experience!

Relaxed 8 hour tour in Paris with a knowledgeable guide

Our assigned guide Sabrina was a nice person and knowledgeable on the spots we went through and we had a great 8 hours in Paris loaded with the must-see spots in a slow pace (we wanted to take it slowly). She was also kind to guide my 6 year old to make an order in a bakery in French, that was truly a great experience! She also helped us to take great photos which is also a plus for us!

Hidden Gems of Paris with Ewan

We had a great walking tour with Ewan! He communicated with me in advance to learn our interests and finding him at the meeting point was easy! He was flexible with us (which was important to us) and made adjustments as needed so when my son declared he needed to eat in the middle of the tour, Ewan took us to a charming bakery. One of our favorite parts of the tour was the elevated walkway on an old metro line!

Wonderful time in Paris!

I had an 8 hour layover in Paris and had the best time with my tour guide Sabrina! She was so knowledgeable and took me to the best spots in Paris! We even stopped at a few well known places so I could sample some of the French foods! I got to see everything I wanted and had enough time to get back to the airport! Great tour overall!

An amazing walking tour with a fantastic guide!

We just returned from an absolutely amazing 6 hour walking tour with Hristo. He met us at our hotel and took us on an incredible journey around Paris. We learned so much about Paris, the sites, the history and the people. Seeing Paris on foot with such a terrific guide was absolutely priceless. I highly recommend this tour and tour company. So grateful that we spent the day with Hristo!!

A Fabulous Walking Tour of Paris

We did an 8 hour walking tour of Paris. Our guide was Pascal. He was absolutely wonderful. While I had been to Paris before, my wife has never been. Before our trip, we filled out a questionnaire about our interests (we are foodies and love to shop in small local boutiques. He customized our tour based on our interests and preferences, Whenever we visit a new city, we like to schedule an all day private tour with a local guide to give us an overview of the location. Pascal met us at our hotel right off the Champs Elysees. We walked the neighborhood near the Tour Eiffel then he took us on the Metro to visit a local farmer's market and shops in Marai. We had lunch together at Chez Paul, a recommendation from Pascal. The food was wonderful. He also showed us how to use the Metro, which we used during our 8-day stay in Paris. I would highly recommend the all day walking tour. We hope that you're fortunate enough to get Pascal as your guide.

Do NOT waste your time or money

Completely disappointed by the fact that our tour guide knew nothing about any of the sights, failed to provide much as far as important stops and was admittedly only on his second tour with no training. He was incredibly sweet but was not informed or trained. Our entire group was left feeling let down and frustrated. I blame the tour company for wasting our precious little time in Paris.

Wonderful local experience

I’ve visited Paris many times but wanted to see some of the lesser known but interesting places Pascal was so knowledgeable and showed me some great hidden gems of Paris - especially the arcades I had a wonderful afternoon and learned so much - even the installation of tiles almost hidden in the streets by the artist known as Invader! Fascinating! Merci, Pascal!

Best Local Experience - Highly Recommended!

Antoine was a great tour guide. From booking to planning our route, he was very responsive and detailed as to his recommendations based on what I wanted to do/see during this tour. He was friendly, flexible and provided some history as we visited different locations. It was as if I was exploring Paris with a good friend. I highly recommend booking this tour - it definitely made my first time in Paris very memorable.

Overall, underwhelming for the cost.

I initially booked this tour for different dates. Unfortunate circumstances required us to push our reservation; however, it also seemed fortunate that we did. First off, we were assigned a guide before completing the questionnaire. Then, the guide assigned was not communicative at all. 10 days had gone by without a response before we were forced to cancel. I was initially super excited to fill out the questionnaire...to have the chance to be paired with a specific guide based on our responses was an extraordinary idea. I'll never really know if that was the case the first go around. For this tour, our assigned guide was also quite delayed in responses but, at this point, I was just glad to be receiving responses. Don't get me wrong, the guide was super nice and respectful. That and covering a lot of ground were the two main highlights here. A little bit late to start but also went a respectable amount past end time to make sure we covered as much of our itinerary as possible. Now the less-than-positives: Guide did not seem confident in information shared and also seemed to only share with the people in proximity. Some of us walked faster than others, so those in the rear often missed out on the blurbs at each site. We definitely covered a lot, however, and we're absolutely able to go at our own pace. We were not rushed at all. Our guide also shared some helpful suggestions for things we were unable to cover. Party of four; two adult couples.

Tour of Paris with Roffy

We toured for 4+ hours with Roffy. It was everything I hoped for and more. I highly recommend her as a guide. I will refer friends and colleagues and plan to make plans for another tour when we return to Paris.

Excellent in every way

Hristo provided a wonderful amount of history and knowledge, in meaningful and practical ways. His English is excellent and it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Best Experience

This was our first time visiting Paris, and we were not sure what to expect. We booked a tour with Roffy, and we were not disappointed. She was wonderful! It was like having an old friend show us the "hidden gems" of Paris. We went to places that we otherwise would not have known to go, and she even arranged a private dining experience for us at an amazing restaurant. This tour was personalized, relaxed and so informative! It also helped that since we did not really speak any French, she was able to interpret and communicate. We can't wait to go back and get another tour!

Best Experience

This is a tour you don't want to miss. It felt like we were visiting an old friend who took us to see things we would not have seen or done without her. Roffy's knowledge, experience and friendliness made our first trip to Paris the most enjoyable vacation we could have asked for. If you want to see touristy things, she will take you to those, as well. But the personalization was key for us. We will ( and already have) recommend this tour to any and all of our family and friends who visit. We are so glad we have a new friend in Paris.

Best day ever in Paris!

Roffy my tour guide was a true jewel. She communicated with me the day before and knew exactly what she was doing. Well organised, yet flexible. She is very passionate and knowledgeable and can answer all your questions and show you the ropes. I had a 6 hour tour on my first day and immediately after meeting her in the morning I knew I had a friend in Paris. Do this tour specially if you’re on your own and it’s your first time in Paris, it is worth every penny and you will end up with amazing photos because Roffy takes amazing pictures. Thanks Roffy.

Fun Christmas Eve Walking Tour of Paris

Del did a wonderful walking tour of Paris for our family on Christmas Eve. She was super friendly and gave a great overview of some of the fun areas like Galleries Lafayette, the Christmas market and the Opera house.

2 hour wait to skip the line????

We paid a fair premium for a PRIVATE skip the line tour. Met the tourguide at 11, to find out we were part of a group of 15, and had to take the metro to the palace. Once there we had to walk 15 minutes from the train. And then we had to wait 20 minutes for the guide to get our tickets. Then another 30 for everyone to go to the bathroom. So it took TWO HOURS to “skip the line” for what was a 1 hour NOT customized and NOT private tour!!!! Save your euros!!!!

Excellent tour experience!

Del was an excellent tour guide especially for first time travelers like us. She seemed knowledgeable, respectful, engaging and patient with the kids and more importantly appeared to be passionate about her job. She suggested a practical itinerary including the opera theatre, Lafayette shopping mall, Christmas park, louvre museum as our itinerary, picked us up from our hotel lobby, helped us with the metro tickets, travel. We felt very happy and satisfied with the tour and would highly recommend her for families and folks visiting Paris for the first time!

Great Walk in Paris

Fred took us on the walking tour and we went up to Sacre-Coure, which was absolutely beautiful and the view was incredible. We went to Notre Dame, a chocolatier and other wonderful places. Fred is friendly and accommodating.

Roffy rocks Paris!

Roffy was amazing and was the highlight of our trip to Paris. She is special and really cared that we experienced French culture and not just Paris. Magical experience with our tour guide Hristo in Paris! ✨✨✨

Our initial proposed itinerary for a tour of Paris was a bit ambitious, we booked the 3 hour walking tour. After I'd booked, our guide, Hristo got in touch promptly and he kindly suggested we focus on just one neighbourhood- Montemarte. We had been to the neighbourhood before and loved it, but didn't have a tour. Second time around with Hristo and his expertise, knowledge and storytelling, it took our experience to a whole other level. 3 hours flew by and at the end we were left with a magical experience that we will talk about in years to come. We wouldn't hesitate to book Hristo again in Paris to explore some other neighbourhoods- his communication was effortless and we loved his passion for the history of Paris. Will book again!

A Gem of a Guide

The Viator website was solid and easy to use but the real gem was our tour guide Rahul. He was a gracious and polite gentleman that looked out for us both physically and ensure we had a great experience while seeing Paris. We are very happy, but tired, tourists. Great tour of Montmartre

A wonderful tour of Montmartre with Hristo. Despite the cold, it was a beautiful day, and he took us to all of the high points of the area from Sacre Coeur to the Moulin Rouge. He was extremely patient and even took a break with us to get out of the cold at a local cafe to warm up with some coffee. We would absolutely do it again. Thanks so much, Hristo!
