Just go! Emy was a perfect guide, and treated us to a fantastic look at Paris and an amazing opportunity to try wonderful French food. She provides the perfect mix of tour guide, hostess, and culinary student. I can’t imagine a more interesting way to experience the city. We loved it, and recommend the tour, and Emy, very highly!

Fantastic food tour of the Latin Quarter in Paris

Emy was a dream guide! She led us expertly through the winding streets of the Latin Quarter, taking care to make sure we didn’t miss any details. The food we sampled - including cheeses, charcuterie and beef bourguignon - was delicious and generous! Emy was welcomed like an old friend at each stop, which tells me she is always as charming and warm as she was with us today. She took care to find out what interested each of us and successfully led us to churches, cobbled streets and hidden corners for us all to enjoy. She’s very knowledgeable about all the food and brought her unique perspective to the recipes and ingredients. I’d take the tour again in a heartbeat except I’m so full of yummy food I can’t even think about eating again this week! Fantastic value and a true highlight of our Paris visit.

Wonderful Experience

This tour was really worth it, Emy (our food tour guide) was very welcoming and warm. We experienced other touristic guided tours before, but the food tasting is taking it to another level. We highly recommend it.

A culinary highlight of Paris

Rain or shine (mostly rain) our guide Catherine took us to some fabulous places curated by some excellent food. The food options were varied and plentiful. We enjoyed cheeses, charcuterie, beef bourguignon, and some fantastic crepes! Also plenty of drinks were provided to suit your pallet. Catherine was also fantastic at bringing to life some of the Latin Quarter’s history and visual highlights. Merci pour a wonderful tour!!

A wonderful food experience with Emy. Great food choices and beware, these are not tastings so there is a lot of food. Emy was warm and we immediately felt we had met a new friend. Highly recommended.

A rainy day in Paris

We had a wonderful tour thru the Latin Quarter. It was a part of Paris that we had never visited and found it to be a truly lovely area. Katherine led the tour at a leisurely pace that was perfect for us older folks. We loved the way she talked about the area and explained the foods and shops along the way. Of course, the food we sampled along the way was yummy and ,yes, there was alot of it. Ending at Norte Dame was perfect.

Friendly and Fun Tour

Our tour with Emy was a great mix of food, good company and a great introduction to the Latin Quarter. The food was delicious and the hosts were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Emy adapted to our interests and needs leading to a few "nice suprises" including hearing a world renowned classical pianist rehearsing in a small church. A special moment on a memorable tour! Highly recommended.

Delicious tastings and wonderful sightseeing opportunities.

Wonderful mix of sightseeing, stories, food tastings and surprises. Emy extended a warm welcome and provided hospitality as if she were a friend taking you around to her favourite spots. She generously showed us a few bonus places in the area that were delightful and unexpected. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

A lovely food tour!

Our food tour through the Latin Quarter was better than expected! The food was fabulous and we also learned much about the history and architecture of the area. Emy was kind, generous and very thoughtful to our needs. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful tour!

Nino was an incredible tour guide! He was so nice and enthusiastic about the tour and did an excellent job weaving in sites to see around the Latin quarter and teaching us some history along the way. We had a really lovely time chatting with him throughout the time!

The tour was a nice activity for us as we explored great places in the area. Emy, our tour guide was very accommodating and really made the tour memorable.

Paris Latin Quarter Food Tour

A fun tour with our guide Catherine who provided excellent info on various Latin Quarter culinary locations. We had food tastings at 5 locations including cheese, pate’, a lunch break with delicious beef bourgingnon at a charming restaurant near Sorbonne, crepes and pastry shop. We walked past novelist Earnest Hemingway haunts where he lived in the 1920’s . Would recommend this tour to enjoy a fascinating walking tour with Catherine who offers unique comments from her student resident days.

Taste of Paris - mmm mmm mmm!

Friendly guide. Made us feel welcome. Lovely chatting as we walked from place to place. Food tasting was another highlight. Plenty of variety and portions very generous. Walked through areas we wouldn’t have found if it wasn’t for Emy.

Great food, incredible location

A fantastic day with a knowledgeable and interesting guide, Emy, who has a real passion for food, especially French food. The Cheese monger Maxim was especially friendly and engaging but all the stops were fabulous. Highly recommended.

We had a fun time exploring with our guide Catherina various Latin quarter culinary locations. Catherina offered knowledgeable comments at the 5 stops that included tastings of cheese, pate’, lunch break featuring beef bourguignon at a charming restaurant near Sorbonne, crepes and a pastry shop. We walked past Ernest Hemingway haunts where he lived in the 1920’s and learned fascinating info on Latin Quarter history and its hidden culinary locations. Would definitely recommend the tour to enhance your culinary knowledge and Catherina brought unique comments from her student residence days in Latin Quarter.

Best way to start our journey

We had just arrived in Paris and had some hours free before being able to check in at our hotel, so we decided to take this tour. Our guide Catherine took us in a historical and gourmet adventure through the cobbled streets of Latin Quarter, in such a friendly and mellow way, that made us feel like home. Restaurants, shops and people working there were also great. Best decision ever!

Catherine was great! Tour was great! Highly recommended. Lots and lots of food!!!!! Cheese and bread and beef dish awesome. A bit too much charcuterie for 2 people though.

This tour was even better than we expected. Catherine was a wonderful guide. She took her time to tell us the history of the latin quarter as we walked to the different restaurants. The food was delicious and the portions large. By the end we were quite full. A wonderful experience!

I had a great time with Catherine, our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, charming and she was eager to show us how Paris is also great when we think about food. We tasted very good quality food and we had a great time with our smiling tour guide. I strongly recommend this experience!

A deliciously good experience!!

We had a wonderful experience. The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a great deal about the history of the city and fun cultural details. The restaurant and shops that we visited for tastings were awesome and their representatives were also very friendly and eager to share and teach us about their specialties.

A well organized Food tour and kind guide ( also 5 stars for him ) made this journey unforgettable ! We ate a lot and all the locations were well selected. Creps, cheese, beef burguignon and desert. Totally loved it

The Latin Qtr. is not to be missed

Catherine was a charming, knowledgeable and perfect guide bringing us through the Latin Quarter of Paris. We sampled delicious cheeses, the best baguette we had in Paris, charcuterie meats and pate, beef bourguignon, wine, a vegetarian option, crepes and Odette's choux cream filled delights. Our bellies were filled. The food was great but enjoying and experiencing this section of Paris is something not to miss. The cobblestone streets, shops, and people who live and work here make this area one of our favorites. Thank you, Catherine for your insights and hospitality.

Best Tour

Paris is really one of the most beautiful cities on earth ! We wanted to discover the latin quarter in a different way and this food tour works well. The guide was also really aware about the history of the neighbour and took time to respond to our questions. Food was really good, really frenchy ! one of the best activities we had in Paris.

Close to the pantheon and Notre dame, the tour brings you to those famous areas of paris. Food was so yummy, especially the sweets at the end of the tour !

Incredible food and and excellent tour

Our guide Catherine was so good, her insights were so interesting and the food was unreal. From the cheese to the wine there wasn’t a single thing I’d fault it was all great. I also really liked that the place we went to for the beef. She also was good as we were in Paris for the rugby and she gave us advice on how to get to the stade de France. Would really recommend!

Good vibes and french delicacy

The tour Guide Catherine was a very pleasant host, has many insights about famous places in the Latin Quarter.Entertaining the group very well she took us both on a cultural journey as well as a delicious food discovery, topical to that part of Paris and related to its history. I couldn't have discovered all that on my own. Was all worth it. In the end I felt a bit spoiled with a last french treat and a delightful experience 💓 Thank you for a good time!
