Paris Flexible Entrance Ticket to Musée d'Orsay with Audio Tour

Longtime visitor, first time at the Musee D'Orsay

We bought the untimed advance tickets and had no trouble at all using them. The Door, Door C, where we went in, had no line when we were there, in the morning. We went straight to the 5th floor, to see the timeless Impressionists, and it was wonderful. I partcularly liked seeing the Van Goghs up close. The included audio tour is very limited, so it might be worthwhile to pay for the museum audio. But we spent a very happy 2.5 hours just exploring the 5th floor and the ground floor space itself, and then went to lunch around the corner at Cocorico and it was a perfect Paris morning.

Best Art Museum!

Tickets worked well with priority w queue. Loved it. The Musee d'Orsay was a very special place. The sculptures were breathtaking and somehow alive - portraying so much ancient history. The paintings were truly gob smacking, coming from NZ. So many original paintings by the old masters - just divine! I could have spent so much longer there!

Didn’t get what I paid for

The MO was magnificent. However we bought audio tickets and were told our tickets did not include it. The museum beware closes at 6 on Saturdays and closed MONDAY. Normal days are open until 9 pm. We missed a lot because of the early close.

Great experience

Easy to get in the Musee D,Orsay. What a beautiful museum with much less people than the Louvre. Tickets were sent to phone with audio guide. Couldn’t be easier.

Everything was great. Skipped the line, booked the ticket a few hours before attending it. Worked well for me.

Must see tour!

Our guide Enzo was amazing! It was so ominous to be standing on Omaha beach where history took place. Enzo was so knowledgeable and passionate about WW II . Memorable tour!

Disappointing experience

We were disappointed with our Orsay experience. Our primary interest was to see the Impressionist paintings but most of the best were not on display, perhaps traveling or displayed in the special “Invention of Impressionism” now on exhibit and only accessible with an additional unavailable ticket. Additionally the audio guide that comes with this tour has very few art pieces included and half of those were not on display. I would suggest getting the audio guide and headset that you can rent at the museum or better a guided tour if possible.

Not great

Getting the tickets was unnecessarily difficult and we didn’t get the email telling us that the audio portion was something we had to use our own phones for so we had no headphones

Convenient tickets

The flexible tickets allowed us to walk right to the front of REALLY long lines! It was fantastic! Definitely worth it! The museum was great and they have an amazing cafe on the second floor (other cafes as well - but only ate in the second floor). The metro stop lets you off right in front of the entrance.

Tickets worked great, we were in a priority line and got in easily. It was a wonderful museum and my whole family enjoyed the experience

Short Line to A Beautiful Museum

The museum gets a 5 star - it’s architecturally beautiful and the art is wonderful. This pass got us in quickly which was helpful on a rainy Tuesday morning. The audio guide was disappointing. Perhaps if I had downloaded the large map, I would have felt I had gotten my money’s worth out of the guide.

Get the ticket and skip the audio guide app.

Most other sellers were out of skip the line tix, but scored these the day before a busy Sunday in May. Walking right up to the door and past hundreds of people was insane! Got there 10 minutes after they opened and walked right in. Go immediately to the 5th floor to see the impressionists before the mob arrives. However, the audio guide app that came with the ticket was poorly rated, was on a sketchy website, and wanted to friend me on Whatsapp. You can get the audio guide from once you're inside for a few Euro.

Favorite Museum

It was amazing experience and the restaurant’s service top notch. Prices very affordable. The museum collection just amazing! Well explained! My favorite museum.

Advertised audio guide not given with ticket

Problem is that the 3 tickets that we were emailed did Not have the audio guide included ( that was advertised and paid for). So I had to pay an extra 6.5 euro extra per person to get the audio guide. This is lack of truth in advertising. Please refund 6.5euro per ticket to correct the VIATOR Error.

Not a good experience

Hopeless. We got there I need to discuss that they wouldn’t . It took half an hour and a great deal of embarrassment. I was totally disappointed in what I thought should have been a simple and first-rate service.

Great experience, walking past the timed line booked lineup. Good advice on different time zone so bought for the next day. Quick and easy access to the voucher.

Not worth buying through here

This site charges way too much for the audio tickets. If bought at the museum they are cheaper. Not worth buying through a intermediary. Also, the app for the audio requires signal which you don't always have in the museum.

Art and entry great, audio not so much!

The flexible entry aspect was very good and provided us entry using a very short line, so that was great! The included audio portion was not working and was not sponsored by the museum, so we had to pay additional for their audio, which was disappointing.

Great museum, with excellent impressionist exhibits as well as some very striking romantic art

Tickets worked, but the only reason I had to use this is because scalpers/resellers buy up tickets and make it so I can't get them normally. The German tour company Wanderung, which does not exist, had its hours set to India Standard Time, and then the tickets were listed as coming from YO TOURS. The fact that they obfuscated who they really were lets you know how scummy they are.

Waiting time 2 and 1/2 hours tour 1 hour if you have any strength left

After 45 minutes in line we were told it would be another hour and a half. We have mobility issues and are unable to stay for this tour. Maybe we'll get our money back. Maybe we won't. The tour guide wasn't certain even if we had stayed. We are not physically able to stand for 3 hours before we go on a tour that we walk. Be warned when they say this is no skip the line. They mean it and you have got a thousand people in front of you and that's before you get on the tour. This is just the line to get into the elevators that will take you up the Eiffel Tower

Highlight Louvre Tour a Blast!

Our guide was so personable and informative with a side of whimsy and humor! The only thing that was unfortunate was the guide's microphone batter died halfway through the tour. Perhaps it would be good to keep an extra on hand. Was a great tour regardless!

Worked as described.

Ticket worked as described. We were able to enter at the time of our choosing. The PDF you are sent initially is not your ticket. Your ticket will be sent separately, closer to the time of the booking.

We got last minute tickets!

Tickets showed as sold out on the official webpage . We were able to get last minute tickets and skip the line !

Amzing museum to see and learn art and history of art, BUT really bad I was charged f the audio option I wasn’t provided

Trip Advisor charged me with Audio Guide but at the museum we were told that that was not correct and that Trip Advisor had no arrangement with them to do so. Then, we had to pay again for the audio guide. When trying to claim a refund, there is no option in the Trip Advisor menu to do so because the drop down list does not allow for this type of claims. I was looking for a partial refund for the audio guide I was charged. Not even an “others” among your drop down list. It is fair to have my money back not for the tickets but for the audio.

Total rip-off!!!

Total tour operator ripoff!! Double the price, presented as a specific date opportunity when it’s really good for a year. Description promised an audio guide but the fine print said it was a download with no headphones which you could get at the museum for E4!!! Very misleading description and no cancellations allowed on something that has no risk for the tour operator. Very shoddy. I won’t use visitor again.

An afternoon at Museé d’Orsay

Loved that we could use this pass at any time of the day. We had tried to buy tickets on the museum’s website but it said they were sold out- so grateful we found this site!

Meh

The audio seemed to be an outdated Rick Steves narration. I’m not a Rick Steve’s fan, I’m quite sure he’s not an expert in impressionist art, he’s more all things to all people in my book. It was impossible to follow since all his directives were incorrect. Pretty disappointing. We just turned him off after 5 minutes.

Great way to get last minute ticket!

Because I had little time in Paris this trip, I booked a last minute flexible time entry ticket (the night before) to the Musee de Orsay. It worked beautifully and I was able to get in fairly quickly in line C1 when the museum opened. The Rick Steve’s audio guide that came with my entry was also worthwhile, even though I had been to the museum several times previously.

I felt very priveledged to be in such a palatial world class environment

Worth it

It was worth it. Just be patient in receiving your tickets from the touring company as they are operating on different time zones

Very satisfied with ticket and audio tour

Skipping the line was a bonus. Audio tour was helpful. Beautiful art work and restaurant on 5th floor (by giant clock) was affordable and delicious.

Museum good lines not good

Museum was great but the idea this was skip the line entrance was not true. We had purchased our tickets with the idea it was no lines but we still had to wait in an hour line to enter.

Never again!!

I had a terrible time getting the tickets I paid for. The email that was sent had an option to download a PDF of the tickets. The PDF was information telling me that it was not a ticket. I was then directed to the Viatour app to access my tickets and that didn’t work as I had unstable internet connection and was eventually locked out. There was no help on the app, nor was there a number or email address to contact. Fortunately there was an email address on the PayPal site I was able to use. Some hours later I finally received an email with the PDF of the tickets.

Well worth a visit

A relatively short queue to enter. An excellent museum with a superb collection of paintings and sculptures. It was very busy but we were able to see what we wanted to see. The audio guide was very good.

Flexi ticket beat the lines , not too expensive.

The Flexi ticket worked well for us , bought same day and in fact the line was quicker than the timed tickets , it was raining so maybe lot of people stayed away.musee itself was excellent .Really enjoyed the impressionists.my 12. Year old daughter also enjoyed it.

Museum beautiful, tickets not valid

Turns out this ticket doesn’t work the first Sunday of the month- there is a special ticket you need to get, the woman at the entry took out on us and let us in , so all was not lost.

Works!

Fast and easy entry. Audioguide by Rick Steves was okay— a little out of date. But Steves was charming and thoughtful. A nice overview for the non-art-history types.

Disappointed with the order

Ticket not recognized by the museum, they let me in all the same but their barcode scanner did not recognize it, plus difficulty downloading the ticket which goes through several subcontractors...

Unfortunately only 20 explanations in the audio guide

Unfortunately, the guide - which you download in advance - only contains 20 audio descriptions. This was unclear to us beforehand and is not included in the description.

Nice without sound

It was easy to get in. Not too many people. The audio app was less good. Just talking about some works that were hard to find. A few works had the wrong number. After a while we skipped the audio app and just looked at the works, which were all nice.

Awesome

Great! We loved it. We took a lot of photos. See the paintings of Vincent Van Gogh if ready. And there is the collection of works by impressionist painters, the largest in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

Better without audio guide

I ended up skipping the audio guide because it didn't appeal to me and I wasn't quite sure what the order was. It was very crowded and so it was more relaxing for me to "just walk" through the exhibition.
