Paloma was great! It was a perfect pace and content for our family (kids 14 and 11). Really nice to see more than just a bus route around town.

A great area to visit with lots to learn about

Our guide was great and we love the area for sure . Paloma was quite knowledgable and quite enjoyable … just was a little too long of a wait when we started for others that were late and we were out in the rain …

A Don’t Miss Experience

We had a wonderful experience on our walking tour! Our guide, Laure, was knowledgeable and personable. She told us a lot about the history of the area and we saw things we never could have found on our own. The foods we had were absolutely delicious and the pastries were world class gourmet. If you go, don’t do it before a meal. We were stuffed but had already made dinner reservations. This was a highlight in one of the greatest cities ever. Don’t miss it!

I’ve been to this neighborhood before but had no idea about its rich history. Our tour guide, Carmelia, really brought this area to life. We stayed away from the tourist areas during the tour, but then ended the tour at the busy area so we could find our way home easily. I would highly recommend this tour and would seek out this company for my next tour/vacation.

Excellent tour

Paloma was an awesome tour guide who was very knowledgeable. It was just myself and 2 other people and we all had a great time. I had been to Montmartre before but this tour took me to places I didn’t know about and if you are an Emily in Paris fan, scenes from series 1 shot in this area. I really enjoyed it.

Beautiful Montmartre Journey

Great time hearing about the people who made Montmartre. Pleasant walk with hardly any steep slopes made this an enjoyable journey to the top….Sacre Cour. Lots of breaks to hear stories and take pictures. Great guide, Paloma, I think was her name, made the tour!!!

Wonderful small group tour.

Our guide was great! We loved her stories about the residents and places of Montmartre. The pace of the tour was perfect, too!

Great, informative tour

We signed up for this experience at the last minute and are grateful we did. We learned a lot about Montemartre (so beautiful), which we would not have learned without a very knowledgeable guide. Definitely recommend.

A Tour is perfect way to discover the town

I am soooo glad we didn’t not attempt to tour this city on our own. Camille was a passionate host and so gracious. Her local knowledge was extensive and one would think she was a local instead of a bueno Aires native. Montmartre is a charming way to spend the day! One of the best meals we had as well

The beautiful Streets of Paris

The beautiful streets of Paris, the history of the artists that lived and painted there, and Sacre Coeur Cathedral. The walk however was tiring for someone in their 70s. Should be noted in brochure.

Our guide, Paloma, made this a fabulous tour! It was cold and rainy but her wonderful warm personality saved the day! She is an expert guide with a wealth of knowledge. We learned so much. She also took the time to take our pictures at beautiful photo stops. Great tour!

Lovely stroll through streets of Montmatre

Walked at a good pace through the streets of montmarte, with time for photos & explanation of historical sites. Guide kinda was very knowledgeable & chatty, excellent way to see this charming area of Paris.

Linda, our tour guide did a great job of sharing the legacy and the stories of the Montmarte. After enjoying a local yummy croissant, we navigated the cobble stone streets and absorbed the artistic vibe and the heart of this iconic section of Paris. I highly recommend this experience. 🇫🇷

Montmartre Restored My Love for Paris

Great experience! Walking the (relatively) quiet streets of Montmartre with an excellent guide restored my otherwise frazzled experience of Paris and helped me to fall in love with the city.

Paloma was our guide, and she did a wonderful job. Clearly very passionate about Parisian culture and super knowledgeable about the area. Many interesting stories to tell, and we really appreciated the croissants!

Our favorite tour in Patis

Paloma (our guide) was so fabulous. She was super knowledgeable and courteous and patient and seems to really enjoy showing people the best of Montmartre. It was our favorite tour of the trip and we highly recommend a tour in this part of Paris.

A MUST do!

This was one of the best tours that we have ever taken~! Our guide, Sarah, was such a treat! She was a wealth of knowledge, sharing some of the most interesting facts with us about the area, as well as other local attractions. One of our favorite parts of the tour was when she led us to a boulangerie and provided free croissants to try, while she gave a complete history of the treat and how they came to be such a staple in the French diet. 11 out of 10 stars!

Worth it!

Great way to see and learn about the beautiful Montmartre area. Our tour guide Linda was punctual, knowledgeable and friendly.

Buyer Beware - Strenuous Physical Tour

Meeting place needs to be better described. It states Place Blanche but there a no signs that indicate such a place. The meeting point was at the entrance to the Blanche metro. This is what the meeting place should state on Viator. Additionally, description states anyone can do the tour, but no wheel chairs. Unfortunately that is not true. I am 70 years old and in good physical shape. The steep climb would be too much for me, so we did not finish the tour. This would be considered a strenuous tour and should state so.

Slow pace cute tour in Montmartre with a friendly guide

This is slow paced tour for somewhat more appealing to European tourists than Americans. For example there were stories about French movie Amelie and singer Dalida including visiting Dalida's house (outside), her bust. My American friends have never heard of these and not a lot of interest. Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris with Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams would be much more interesting story. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable but mostly the story line they stick to on this tour better for Europeans. Also we were told to be at the meeting spot 15 min early which we did and in fact our tour guide didn't show up until 5-10 min after the start time. Then we waited for another missing guest and we were transferred to another guide. Bottom line is we wasted good half an hour.

Two fantastic hours discovering the secrets of Paris

5 out of 5. Camila was fantastic. So very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about the area. Camila was very easy for an Aussie to understand as she spoke very clearly. This tour is a “must do” when in Paris.

Camilla was a wonderful, engaging, kind and informative guide. We all were really glad we decided to do this tour! Smaller group size and she took us on some quiet quaint streets on our way up to Sacre Couer. Camilla provided a lot of great information, and the best croissants we’ve ever had!!

Great tour!

Great tour. Highly recommended. Even in the rain our guide made it fun and informative. The walk is long and uphill, but do-able for anyone in moderate physical condition.

Montmartre - Go visit

Our guide, Camilla was knowledgeable, witty, and engaging. She had visuals and stories related to the legends and the history of Montmartre. It was quite a trek around the neigborhoods so 2 hours was a perfect amount of time. The culmination was, of course, reaching the glorious Sacre Coeur Basilica plus eating that delicious warm croissant. We also learned about the making of croissants in Paris. Good to know! It was a splendid 2 hour tour in a unique Paris neighborhood with a charming guide.

Best guide ever- book this tour

This trip was actually the highlight of my time in Paris and a huge part of the reason why was the guide, Cecilia. Cecilia brought Montmatre past and present to life with her energy, enthusiasm, passion and knowledge. It was really her amazing attitude that made this tour stand out from other similar tours. Best guide ever.

Tour of Montmarte

We’re so glad we booked this tour and came away feeling somewhat inspired and educated, with a thirst for more! Our guide, Camille, was fantastic. Patient, friendly, warm, witty and so very informative. We booked this tour for the 1st day of our trip to Paris and are so glad we did.. we went on to the Musee D’Orsay the next day after hearing about the Impressionist exhibition. The ‘croissant break’ was so welcome and interesting too! Thankyou x

Great way to see Montmartre

Ceceila (not sure of spelling) was a great guide. She gave enough time for pictures. She also knew short cuts which made the walking easier.

Couldn’t hear

Guide was knowledgable and had a lot of good information to share, but hearing was an issue. She said speakers were not allowed in the neighborhood but other groups either had a speaker or those individual listening devices which I would recommend. Guide would even talk through sirens and loud cars without pausing, making you miss parts of what she was saying.

Art and History combined!

This tour was very helpful to orient my family to the history and artists that lived in Montmartre. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the tour interesting with tidbit information. I liked that this tour limited the number of people compared to tours we saw that had twice as many people. While some Paris locations can be self-guided, this is one that deserves a guide. You start near Moulin Rouge and end at the cathedral where you can stay and look around on your own. I recommend this company and happy with our guide Camille!

Wonderful tour!

Cecilia was amazing! We learned so much about the history of the area and enjoyed all the sights while eating the most delicious croissant in Paris! What a fun and educational way to spend a morning in Montmartre! Cecilia was enthusiastic, very prepared & informative & fun!

Avoid the crowds in Montmartre

Linda took as up the hill over less known paths, avoiding crowds and telling us lots of stories about Montmartre and showing beautiful spots - what can be better than that? Loved, loved the tour - highly recommend both the tour and our tour guide Linda.

Our tour started with this urban adventure and what a wonderful start. Our guide had many details about what we were experiencing. She made the tour very interesting and fun. Even things like water fountain s had an important place in the history of the city we were touring. She did a great job

We loved this tour/tour guide! Cecilia was able to tailor the information to our particular interests and her enthusiasm for every subject matter rubbed off. We learned a lot about the history, people and culture of Montmartre while having lots of fun. She had funny anecdotes and bits of trivia to share which made it come alive. It was a great morning and we are so glad we did it!

Excellent tour of Montmartre and area around Basilica de Sacre-Coure

What a fun experience learning about early Paris history and Montmartre with Cicilia! I hope I spelled that correctly. She was enlightening and helped us learn a lot about this quaint area near the Basilica de Sacre-Coeur. We learned about the impressionist painters who lived and painted in this area and ate a fresh croissant hot out of the oven on our journey through the the cobblestone streets of Montmartre. Highly recommend Cicilia as a tour guide if you are fortunate to have her lead your tour. This was a highlight of our first trip to Paris!
