Aicha was an amazing @SecretFoodTours guide (friendly, fun, and knowledgeable); we had amazing pastries and chocolates on every single stop along the tour and each place welcomed us warmly. The group we traveled with was also great and we all survived the hilly walk!

Fantastic insider dessert tour of Montmartre

Alison led us on a fantastic chocolate & pastry tour of Montmartre. She had a wonderful personality and knew so many locals who helped us experience the "true" French dessert scene. The pacing was good for all walkers. Highly recommend her!

Excellent tour for familes.

Great tour and highly recommended. Our tour guide, Imahim (probably misspelled his name) did a great job taking us to the famous candy and pastry shops around Paris. He took the time to explain place and their significance. This tour we will do again.

Authentic and Delicious

Everything was so wonderful I couldn’t choose a favorite thing. All the locations have terrific history. These were not your average spots. The creperie was a hidden gem that I will visit again before leaving Paris. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Delicious, unique, and informational!

Zara was very informational, warm, funny, and engaging person! She showed us around Montmartre very well and only had the best places to show to us. Would highly recommend doing this with your girlfriends!

Pastries with a great guide

Allison was great! Learned a lot about the Montmartre area, and enjoyed the scenic walk from place to place (appreciated the bottles of water, too). Only thing I would have changed, is the wording for the meeting place. We purchased tickets for the metro because it wasn't clear we were to meet at street level, but, happily, we were able to use the tickets to take the funicular post-tour 😊

Sweet tour of France

Wonderful sweets and chocolate tour through less-travelled streets of Paris. Nana's itinerary gave great variety of confections and flavors, along with the history of the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed this!

My wife and I really enjoyed this trip. In fact, it was probably the most enjoyable thing we did in Paris. Alison was really informative and just a nice person to be around! We tried lots of different things and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends.

Unique walking tour

The tour was wonderful. It was so easy to meet up outside the metro. The pastries were amazing! Our guide was so much fun and had a bunch of fun facts and made it so fun. It was such a unique way to experience the area. The weather also was impeccable. Highly recommend coming hungry and wearing comfy shoes and with a water. Don’t be tempted by the hot dogs outside the metro station.

Food good but bad tour

The food was pretty good but you didn’t have time to sit down and enjoy the tasting it was rushed and you had the tastings very close together which made you feel full and made you sick of the chocolate and I am a type of person that would eat a whole block of chocolate so I was surprised

Pastry Tour

Lux was our guide! We did tons of tours this trip and this was by far the best one! Lux was so friendly, knowledgeable and warm. The tour was absolutely perfect, and the walking was perfect between each treat.

Allison was a wonderful guide . We had so much fun doing this tour . If you like chocolate and would like to go to the pastry shops that Parisians go to then this is the tour for you .

We had a wonderful tour with Alison with our family. We picked this tour as we thought it would break up the exploring for the children, and was definitely a good idea, and a great start to our Paris trip. We would never have found these great family businesses selling the loveliest sweet treats on our own. You need a guide to find these sorts of treasures, Alison was very knowledgeable and passionate about Paris, we would definitely book again!

Great tour

What an incredible tour! Lojaine was an excellent tour guide, coloring the experience with history and teaching us how each baker/chocolatier makes their desserts... The places we went to were incredible, and it was neat to go to the places Parisians go to (as opposed to tourist traps). We loved every dessert, the walk through Montmartre, and the nice group of people we were with.

Excellent tour!

Allison was great! She only said one thing that turned out not to be true....that we'd still be hungry for dinner later. We weren't! Still stuffed from all the delicious treats. All were so good...and the history behind them was fascinating.

If you are a chocoholic

it was a lot of fun and informative. we tasted chocolates, crepe, macaron, and a few other sweet treats. highly recommend

Fun delicious informative food tour!

Lojaine was a wonderful, engaging and informative guide through the delicious pastries and chocolate of monmartre in Paris. Fun and learned a lot!

Great tour, great pastries and chocolate, great price

Paris is probably the best city in the world for a sweet food tour, but Lojaine took it to another level. We traveled in wide and narrow streets of Saint Germain enjoying the chocolate of well known as well as young and fresh food artists. Both the pastries and the chocolates were very good. Hearing Lojaine describes it, in a day to day manner, simple and easy to understand and learn about different culture with such rich history. We highly recommend this tour, asdie from what I've mentioned, the tour was in a small intimate group, we had 6 stops, which make the cost very reasonable, and more affordable than the rest of the options we've checked.

Delightful Tour for the Whole Family!

This food tour was entertaining and delicious. Our tour guide Alison was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating to the entire group. Our kids (11 & 8) had a fabulous time and we got to taste treats we wouldn't have without Alison's guidance. Would 100% recommend, especially to families!

A wonderful way to sample Paris desserts!

Our tour guide, Lojaine, was great. This tour was the right mix of walking and eating amazing desserts. Even though we gorged ourselves with delectables like crepes, macaroons, pastries, chocolates, and eclairs, we were surprisingly not grossly full at the end.

Great Tour with Wonderfully Unique Treats

The tour was wonderful! All of the stops and treats were amazing and diverse. The guide was delightful, thoughtful and accommodating to all ages in the group, which ranged from pre-teen to 70 years+. I would highly recommend this tour.

Allison is fabulous!

We took a tour with Allison and could not have had a better experience. The food stops were delicious and plentiful! She chatted with our 7 year old, gave the group interesting histories about shops and Montmartre itself. 5 stars and highly recommend!

Great Selection of Stops

Allison was an awesome tour guide. I especially liked the relaxed pace and the focus on chocolates and pastry. Allison was genuine and personable. The tour stops were a perfect selection of pastries and chocolate. It was fun.

Highly Recommend

This tour took us to INCREDIBLE bakeries around the Mont montre area of Paris. I literally had the best eclair I have ever eaten, and enjoyed all of the baked goods. Also pleasant to learn a little history along the way. It was a bit hilly (recommend good shoes) but helped to walk off some of the extra calories. Great for all ages that are up for a bit of a walk.

Great tour with amazing sweets!

Our guide, Alison, was great. She took us to the most wonderful places in Montmartre and explained the history of each. There was a nice variety of sweets, which were absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this tour. It was great to do at the beginning of the trip so we could return to our favorite places.

Best flavors, tour guides and sightseeing all in one

Excellent tour and worth every euro. Knowledgeable, polite, and patient guides who answered questions and engaged the kids. Unique flavors at each stop and store merchants were welcoming. Generous tasting portions--best crepe I've ever eaten. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Lovely tour

Me and my partner enjoyed this very much (apart from the weather). Our tour guide Zara was friendly and well liked. We absolutely loved the choupettes, wish we could of brought some home with us. All the cakes, pastries and chocolates were delicious. Only thing I was unsure of was the crepes...they tasted lovely but as they were the second visit it made me feel quite full and heavy quite quickly...maybe save them for last or replace with something lighter?? Would definitely look into other food tours, we did come back the next day (monday) to try and buy some more several places were closed, must be a Monday thing :)

Imrane was a great guide on our pastry and chocolate tour. We visited many great businesses and has some really tasty samples. He gave us some history of the foods, neighborhood and businesses as well. It was just enough info.

Great introduction to Paris confections

We visited 7 shops and by the end I was “desserted” out. Allison was our guide and she lives in Montmarte and shared history of the area in addition to information about the shops we visited. She was personable and kept a great pace. She didn’t let the rain stop us and did her best to keep us dry. It was a nice introduction to Paris on our first day in this beautiful city.

Great food tour with Allison, we went to a lot of great places. Unfortunately, my wife and I were both sick, but we powered ahead. There were a lot of places. So much food that we brought a few things back with us and ate them over the next days.

It’s a perfect tour if you’re coming to Paris for a short stay as you get to taste all the best French delicacies within a couple of hours. Alison was a great guide, absolutely loved her! She gave us some history and information on everything we tried which made it extra special. 11/10 recommend.
