My event was closed due to a strike and I have not received confirmation that you have refunded my money. When do you plan to refund my money ?

Workers strike

Workers strike was on. Didn't get any notice from viator nor have I been able to contact them for a refund. We cut our trip to versailles short to make the catacombs and we're extremely disappointed

Skip the line does NOT exist

Skip the line does NOT exist at any public museums in Paris. So essentially we paid for a premium service but still waited in line and we were duoed. We would like our money back.

Family Trip

We loved the actual tour. It was very informational and flowed well. The security were a little rude whenever we first were in line until we were actually able to pullbup our tickets. He just sent us out of the line.

Great experience, not for the faint hearted!

Very creepy experience, not the typical tourist attraction. Well managed process, highly suggest paying extra for skip the line.

Creepy fun

It was a creepy, but very cool tour. Highly recommend using Viator to book because it went seamlessly.

Great but don’t buy here

The tour was great - well organized and the audio guide was great. The only issue is that the actual tickets from the catacombs are only 29 euro with the audio guide and I was charged 187 euro for three tickets from Viator. Don’t get ripped off and buy direct from the catacombs website.

Amazing place to visit! I felt like I was in the horror movie staging, interesting information in the corridors about history of Paris.

Easy way to get tickets if sold out.

We only used this tour because the Catacombs website stated they were sold out, which in fact they were, and several people were turned away at the door. We were able to enter since we purchased tickets through this tour. Entry is every 15 minutes. This ticket includes entry and guided audio tour. You’re on your own and your tickets are emailed prior to entry. Very easy. The Catacombs were ok. Not as interesting for us, but others might find this interesting.

Beware This Tour!

Our tour was cancelled before we even went and viator will not issue a refund to us. We never even saw the catacombs due to their overbooking of the tour. Their mistake and no refund. We will be addressing this with our credit card company. I would be cautious booking this through Viator.

Perfect if you can’t get tickets on your own

This is perfect if you (like us) didn’t buy tickets in advance. You pay more than if you bought direct, but direct sells out.

Fantastic perspective of the catacombs. Such an overwhelming experience and also an eerie feeling at the same time. Would highly recommend!

Fine, but use a different tour company.

The audio tour is the same no matter which company you use. The tour itself was fine, pretty fun. However, this particular company sold us a time slot for 11:00, but when we arrived we found our tickets were only valid for 11:15. I emailed the company to ask what happened because we had another activity planned right after - no response. So we had to wait an extra 15 minutes for entry and then I felt that I had to rush through. So, the tour was ok but probably would have been better with a live guide. And this company wasnt really on top of the details.

Very interesting and enjoyable experience. Having tickets ahead of time was a must. I’d certainly recommend.

Great exhibit, horrible staff & audio equipment

The exhibit is terrific The device to listen to the narrated tour is horrible. It is not intuitive on how to use it. The staff gives no guidance. You are told to start using it once you have decended in to the catacombs. There is no one there for help. It's through the kindness of other travelers you get tips on how to use it.

Interesting experience, the audio was helpfull . Although all the tours were sold out for the day they only allowed a minimum amount of people in at one time so it wasn’t crowded.

Catacombs

This was an eye opening tour, and learning the history of the catacombs was also interesting. The audioguide worked well and was very informative.

Awe Inspiring

This was a great start to my Paris adventure. The tour was very easy (except for the stairs!) and the whole thing too me about an hour. It's hard to describe this place, but it was a great experience. Lots of history and the audio guide was great.

Stay away, canceled reservation

The vendor cancelled the reservation at the last minute. There was no communication and they did not respond to any of our correspondence. Stay very far away. I don’t think they actually have tickets available and I don’t t understand what the scam is here. Still waiting for a refund, hopefully we will receive it.

Actually seeing is believing. Took awhile to absorb the immense number of human remains that are in the Catacombs.

This experience is very sad but also makes you appreciate how fragile life is but also how resilient man can be. . .

Everyone should go and see

The history of how the catacombs were started. That could even be expanded on. Right after I finished at the catacombs, I went to the Louvre and it was referenced there.

DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM GREAT TRAVEL EXPERIENCE. Paid for extremely expensive tickets, did not receive them per email and was not able to contact the company either by email or phone.

Amazing

It was amazing place to visit to see all those remains. It was even more amazing to hear the story behind it all.

Interesting and unique experience

We enjoyed learning the history of the catacombs with the video guide and walking at our own pace. The Catacombs were chilly, so dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes. The cost was a bit high for the experience in my opinion, but overall we were happy with the tour.

Temple of true equality

Very interesting, it makes you think and reflect on aspects in your own life. Some of the visitors seemed to want to get through to check a box a day I have been there, but if you take your time to appreciate the history on what was done it is impressive.

Love the fact that those in charge of transferring the remains of the deceased to the catacombs respected their bones and carefully located them piece by piece in a secured and sealed position. Well done

Expensive tickets but worth it to get in

We couldn’t find tickets to the catacombs because of their selling practice. It was something I really wanted to see while in Paris so we bought tickets through this company. They delivered and we got in. So 5/5 there. Only 4/5 because it’s much cheaper if you prepare ahead of time and buy tickets directly.

Lohnt sich!

Es war sehr interessant und erfreulicherweise nicht so überfüllt, wie ich erwartet habe. Das Personal war freundlich und hat alles im Griff. Es war eine sehr einfache Buchung und echt ein Erlebnis das ich empfehlen kann!

Katakomben muss man einmal gesehen haben.

Es ging recht zügig an der Kasse, da wir die Tickets online gebucht hatten. Der Audioguide ist unverzichtbar, um die einzelnen Bereiche zu verstehen. Man kann überall gute Fotos machen.

Katakomben unter Paris

Es war sein Geld auf jeden Fall Wert. Sehr beeindruckend diese Gräber. Man bekommt ein Audioguide in ausgewählter Sprache und kann selbstständig, in eigenem Tempo die unterirdischen Gänge entlang gehen.
