Amazing guided tour of Musee de l'Orangerie!

Visiting Musee de l'Orangerie in Paris has been a dream of mine for many years, and I decided to book a private tour with my husband during our trip. It was such an incredible, amazing, and rewarding experience - the exhibition is breathtaking. Our private tour with so wonderful - Zdravko ouir guide was so knowledgeable and informative and made our experience so very special - we both learned and took away so much. We highly recommend this to anyone. I will also say that Viator was amazing with email/text communications and information leading up to the tour - they made everything so easy!

Our guide Dunya provided a very informative tour, not just Monet's water lilies, but the other artist as well. Museum is beautifully repurposed and redesigned to showcase the art.

A 46year return that was worth it

Malaika was excellent. Her depth of knowledge of the paintings, artists and their backgrounds was beyond reproach. Her grasp of the nuances in the pictures and cultural and familial context of each painting was worthy of note. Highly recommended guide and tour.

Interesting, informative and highly recommended

The tour was fabulous - Malaika was so informative and her stories about all the artists and the collector made the art come to life. The water lillies were so beautiful I could have spent hours in those 2 rooms. Thanks Malaika.

Fabulous guide

Thanks Marcel for an interesting tour of the Orangerie museum. Marcel was excellent. He was very informative & by far the best tour guide that we had on our visit to Paris. He had a great depth of knowledge. Monet's Water Lillies were a delight & Marcel encouraged us to experience & appreciate the art that we saw. The other artists' work that we viewed was great too. Picasso's different styles of work were on display. I would recommend this company and use them again.

Incredible tour. Our guide Belen was passionate, friendly and well informed! She explained art in a way that inspired us, she showed us a new meaning of art. We were incredibly fortunate to have her guide us through the museum. She was excellent!!! Highly reccomended. Without a guide I am sure one can enjoy the museum, but our guide added a new dimension. Incredible!

Belen was everything I didn’t know I needed for a museum tour. Before we even entered, She provided so much context about the museum and how it stood apart from the others in Paris. During her storytelling, she included so many different details about the artists lives, the historical and cultural influences that were happening at the time, and details about the work themselves. This allowed me to really grasp the concepts and remember the details after I left. She was energetic, funny and helped guide us through the rooms and spaces with ease. I will never tour a museum without a private guide thanks to my experience with Belen. I will also shop for my own art with more education and understanding of art techniques in general.

Belle was a true delight! I’m so grateful to have experienced the museum through her eyes and expertise. She provided invaluable insight into the works of art, the way the museum was laid out and provided anecdotes that helped make the information not only relatable but retainable as well. She made a point of engaging us and wanted to know what it was that we would like to her more or less about. Sunday was an exceptional guide. She brought the artists and their works to life. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and love of art, especially Monet, was infectious. I have been fortunate to experience many museum tours. Sunday’s tour was by far the most interesting, relatable, informative and captivating I have attended. I cannot recommend her tour enough.

Amazing experience! Belen was a fantastic guide and had a wealth of knowledge to share about the evolution and history of Impressionism and modern art. Our guide Belen was absolutely fantastic. We visited the major Museum’s of Paris a little out of order and l’Orangerie was our first stop, and wow. She was very thorough with her detail of why certain works were important, what and who was influenced by what had come before, and took enough care to ensure that we had a full picture of everything on the museum before viewing Monet’s Water Lillies. We said our goodbyes there, and we were able to sit peacefully and enjoy these magnificent works full of knowledge. Cannot recommend Belen enough. If you can, try and get her for all your tours, I wish we had!

Very enjoyable tour with a very knowledgable guide!

This was my first tour - and definitely the first of many more thanks to the effort our fantastic tour guide Julien put in to ensure an excellent experience! Not only was his knowledge of each painting unparalleled in its detail, his descriptions of each artist’s context and their artworks were delivered in such an interactive manner so as to appeal to the whole group. Thoroughly recommend!

Monet left me breathless - it felt like time paused to listen to silence

The Orangerie itself is absolutely amazing. It will be a regular stop for me ongoing. The experience was made even better by our guide Lucien. I needed a very specific experience because I was traveling with my 5 year old daughter. My guide needed to be flexible around her needs and our timing. He was great. They got along swimmingly, and Lucien was able to adjust as the situation changed. However, I'd still want him as a guide even without kids because he was an absolute wealth of information. He is very knowledgeable about the history, paintings and theory. Most importantly, he was able to adjust to my needs - whether I wanted more understanding or more time to take in what I was seeing without comment. I hope to book with him again, either in Paris or in other locations where he guides.

Incredible Experience and Wonderful Guide! Highly Recommend

I loved this tour of the Orangerie Museum with my excellent guide Fabrizia or "Fab" as she is known. Fab was FABulous! With an explanation of the origins and the collection and a background on the Organgerie's history, Fab led me on an amazing tour starting with the amazing collection downstairs and finishing with the Monet Water Lillies panels. It was beautiful, and her tremendous knowledge and history of the works taught me more than my art history school books ever did. Best money I spent on my trip to Paris! Highly recommend!

Wunderbare Tour

Wir(4 Erwachsene) waren auf einer wunderbaren deutschsprachigenTour im Orangerie Museum Paris mit Anatole. Er war super ! Wir haben nicht nur viele Interessante Informationen zu den Bildern und den Künstlern bekommen, da sich Anatole als Kunsthistoriker prima auskennt, sondern so macht Kunst auch richtig Spaß. Er konnte auf unser Vorwissen sehr gut eingehen und so gab es einen netten Austausch. Herzlichen Dank an Anatole für die schöne, abwechslungsreiche Kunst-Erfahrung !

Es war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung auf der privaten Tour im tollen Orangerie-Museum in Paris mit unserem Guide Marcel. Er war sehr nett und hat uns ausführlich alles erklärt.
