A nice change to sightseeing. Very funny. Better when the crowd gets involved and are vocal. I think it would recommend sitting close to the front. Impersonations of Parisian store employees was spot on!

Brilliant show

We attended this show on our first night in Paris. I would Highly recommend you do to. It’s brilliant and an excellent way to begin your visit. The theater is beautiful and Mssr Girard so so funny!

Very enjoyable, laughed a lot; great add-on to an evening out in Paris

This is a very nice, fast pace, whirlwind tour of what defines behaving as a 'parisien'. Impressive performance ! Lots of interaction with the audience and making fun of all other nationalities too, not just the 'parisien', so maybe not for people easily offended or shocked. Really enjoyable and not too long (1 hour), so a great add-on to an evening out. Laughed a lot !

Hilarious and smart

Hilarious and smart. He has a natural ability to connect with all nationalities. He executed flawlessly on several tasteful jabs at many different cultures, including his own.

We loved the show. Olivier is a great performer and had the audience laughing from the beginning. Highly recommended for a fun night out and to understand Parisian people a bit more without taking things too seriously. Not suitable for kids (or easily offended adults! 😆). Go with an open mind, laugh at yourself a bit and enjoy 😉

The venue is very beautiful and in a nice location. The show was hilarious, we had a great time and laughed a lot.

Nice break from sightseeing

Great show and definitely worth the time and money if you are a tourist. It was fun and actually quite informative. He also answered audience questions at the end of the performance so that was a nice touch. Definitely better to see all the main Parisian sights, but this was a nice entertaining diversion.

Excellent wholesome comedy

Good comedy and excellent timing being in Paris. Cheap night out with good wholesome comedy. No cursing. A few innuendos to sex - minimal. Would recommend it to anyone that is in Paris.

Fun! We laughed and actually learned a few things. Loved he took Q&A for about 10 minutes after the show! Would definitely do again and recommend. Adult humor was minimal. He makes fun of people, like many comedians, but spread it around to all walks of life.

Comedy show in Paris

It was a fun show…a nice diversion from a hectic tour of Paris. The theatre is centrally located and was an east walk for us.

It’s called comedy! Not for the politically correct.

It’s called comedy! We were two adults. I am American, although I lived in Paris for many years. He is Parisian and well travelled. We both agreed it had many funny moments of truth. I did NOT find it offensive to women. He talks about sex in an objective manner. Makes more fun of men and their inability to rise to the standards of Parisian women-not the other way around. If you are a puritan with hang ups about your sexuality, this show may not be for you. But if you want to have fun, he is funny, insightful and engaged. It’s a solid hour of laughter!

Such a funny show, we had a blast!!

Together with my boyfriend and two friends, we went to this amazing show. We had such a good laugh and I even shared a super funny and nice moment on stage to never forget. I would deff recommend to go to his show :)

Don’t pay for this show!

Bonjour. You answered me that Parisians are laughing at your show because they recognise themselves. I personally strongly disagree. I’m French, born and raised in Paris and I didn’t recognised myself at all and I didn’t laugh once. You keep repeating that you performed in front a huge audience, great for you, but maybe it’s time to update old jokes that are no more relevant in our society today. I insist that too many of your jokes are quite offensive (for Parisians and foreigners and also for women) and even if tourists are laughing, you perpetuate a strongly bad image of us. Maybe it was not the same when you started, but we are more open-minded today and these jokes are outdated. Sorry!

I would not recommend this show to anyone. Nothing advertises it as R rated. Not appropriate for audiences in 18. Insulting.

The stereotypes for both Americans and Parisians was outdated. The show was not appropriate for some of the people in the audience and not our guest. It just was not funny. I was looking for humor on the French. The little bit our 18 year old friend gave us about Parisians was much better. Trevor Noah had as part of his Netflix special a scene from his experience with shopping g for clothes in Paris. It was clean and very funny. It feels like you need to be out in the world to see how visitors see Parisians and perhaps visit the states to see how Americans act now. The Valley girl routine is passe. The guests were funny. I think you have done this show a few too many times without updating it and cleaning it up some. Tricia

Very fun evening show.

MUST DO for anyone who understands English while in Paris! The many Parisians in the audience loved it and there were people from all over the world. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been to Paris often or first time. Show is perfect length, not too long. NB: there are many cute and reasonable cafes in the area, including a sit down creperie right across the street.

I was laughing the entire time!!!! The show was very engaging, impressions were spot on, and the delivery was captivating. Olivier interacts with the audience so you feel like you’re personally being spoken to and he’ll even pull a couple of lucky people on stage to participate. We got to meet him afterwards. I’d recommend the show to both foreigners and locals alike. It was an great evening!!!!

An American Laughing HARD in Paris

Haha! Well, the show was great and would have been lovely enough, except I also got picked to go up on stage and help to demonstrate (or learn lol) how a Parisian lady might dance in a club to get a fella to buy her a drink - and that was quite embarrassing and yet super fun too! Even got Olivier's book and he posed with audience after the show for selfies. A very recommendable experience!

It was 'just okay' but we are still glad we went

My husband and I are big comedy fans and went to comedy shows often when living in the US so maybe we are a tough critics, but we just thought it was 'okay'. It seemed like 30 minutes of good comedy material made into a 70 minute show by adding lots of very long facial expressions, periods of time where Olivier imitates dance moves, and a couple of instances of audience participation where they demonstrate what he has taught us. That being said, are we still glad we went? Yes. As expats comedy fans living in Paris there isn't much in the way of comedy in English so we appreciated what it had to offer. The question and answer at the end was unique and gives you a chance to see Olivier in a more personal way than just 'the act'. He was also really good at using audience interaction to make jokes on the fly and even incorporate them into the act.

A Must See

This was a great way to start out our Paris vacation. Both the venue and comedian was excellent. Just do it.

Although the cliches were...

Although the cliches were obvious, it would have been better if it was weaved into a story, rather than bullet points type of presentation.

A night to remember

Olivier is an exceptionally talented performer. I haven’t laughed so much in ages. His facial expressions, and quick wit cannot be matched. A wonderful night out for my first time in Paris, Meredith, Perth, Western Australia

Olivier was spot on hilarious on being a Parisian and the outlook they have on Americans/foreigners. He engaged the audience very well. It was a good icebreaker with our 4 older teens on our first night in Paris.

Don’t go!

This show is really disappointing, it's cliché after cliché! I didn't find it funny at all and I think it's a real mistake to perpetuate these eternal clichés today. And it's not just clichés about Parisians, it's also clichés about different nationalities depending on who's in the audience. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone, but I'm not surprised it's a hit, because most people like to believe clichés, don't they?

You get what is in the title, and it is worth it !

We are french but expat for 25 years now and as we were in Paris for the WE with our 2 daughters raised abroad (20 and 22 years old), we went there without really knowing what to expect though the reviews are great. Well, it is totally deserved. The actor found a ‘’niche’’ topic which clichés about Parisian and also by mirror, foreigners and I have to say it is really well done: good text, good acting and never fall in the trap of being rude and even racist. He plays very well with crowd, also mastering the right balance between teasing/making fun of people without hurting them. Well done as it sounds easy seen like that which is a sign that it is really well own and mastered by Olivier .You will have a lot of success with all visitors during Olympic Games next year in Paris.

Really enjoyed the performance it’s very funny. The whole show was in English. The hour flew by, I could have watched him for longer. I wouldn’t recommend for young children as advised. Had a great time and would highly recommend

My third time

This is a great way to end an evening in Paris either after a long day of tourism or business. Olivier Giraud makes good quality standup without being offensive or rude. It’s about the clash of cultures or how foreigners and Parisians do see each other. Each of my three times there were so funny!

Fun early show

Such a fun show, a gifted comedian who kept us all laughing. Not suitable for kids and you may have to participate!

Too risky for us

Seems we are just too old for this type of entertainment. We did not find the risqué language or delivery to be acceptable. However, most of the audience seemed to enjoy the experience.
