Eiffel Tower Second Floor Tour and Summit Option by Elevator

Nice overall, great views and tour, just marred by the rainy weather.

The view from second floor is nice. Definitely suggest early morning foe a quicker access to the Tower. Essein, our tour guide, was nice, welcoming and gave us a good tour. The weather was rainy, if not, would have been even better.

Eiffel Tower

DO NOT RECOMMEND

It pains me to write this review. This “tour” was not really a tour at all. It’s a bit deceiving in the description because we thought we were buying a skip the line informative tour to the top of the Eiffel Tower. This is not the case. First, it was really disorganized from the meeting point. The two guys were arguing a bit a first. Then we took multiple roll calls and, for some reason, they couldn’t figure out who was here and who was not. Nothing was written down, very disorganized. Second, they immediately informed us that it was not a skip the line tour and that we may not be able to get to the top. Wait…What?!?! Third, we stood around the bottom of the tower for about an hour while the guide threw out a few bits of information about Eiffel and how the tower was made, etc., while we were waiting to see if access to the top would open up, which it finally did. We got in line, got on the elevator and made our way to the top. At that point the tour was basically over and we were on our own. What was the tour?! It turns out we could have easily just done this on our own, bought our own tickets, waited on our own, and paid the normal ticket price instead of the extra approximately $50+ per ticket! The tour guide was nice, but this was a total ripoff and disappointment. Our boys, first time in Paris, were bored and disappointed. A big let down.

Beautiful city views!

Marsha was our guide and she was wonderful. The directions to find the meet location were a bit awkward at first but once we found the meeting spot on the corner of the noted building it was easy to meet and find Marsha. It was quite crowded at the upper level but still worth the time and effort. Excellent views of the city!

Ok but expect to wait in line

Our tour guide was excellent and fun. Time on the tower was great. It was very helpful to have someone to handle the tickets and guide us plus our guide kept us entertained while we waited in line. We went back to the meeting point to pick up a very tiny pocket knife that we were told we couldn’t bring in, but there was no representative there and we received no information on how to get it back.

Guided tour was so worth it!

It was so nice having a great guide like Michelle to take us up the tower, show us the important things to see and pick out the shortest lines for us!!

Special experience!!

It was quite a special trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower! We made it as the sun set so we saw a spectacular sunset from the top and then the city lights came on and that’s when you realize why Paris is called the ‘City of Lights’!! Highly recommend it.

Edmund was a wonderful guide. We met right on time and he was very concerned for someone that was running late. So glad we booked this tour. We didnt have to worry if there would be tickets available. It was a great piece of mind. Edmund was knowledgeabke and funny. Highly recommend

Great tour

Seeing the Eiffel Tower and going up in the elevator is a great experience. The city looks great from the viewing terrace. Our guide Mohammed is very good. great tour!

Essien was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. She was very thorough with her facts. This tour is a must when you visit Paris!

Access time was too long. Explanations and context should be addressed after we access the tower. Our tour guide “Essien” was very kind and very creative when talking to the visitors.

Awesome tour! Edmond, our guide was very knowledgeable and provided the great history of the Eifel.Tower. We got to see some amazing views and take some great pictures.

Edmund with the Eiffel Tower tour was great. Went over the history and did his best to make sure we saw the top of the tower.

Demanding a refund

This was a terrible experience. We met the tour guide at the assigned location then had to wait in the long line at the Eiffel Tower with the guide to buy the tickets. Paying such a premium the tour operator should have had our tickets prior to the tour. This messed up the timing for the rest of our day

Viewing from the top was amazing! It was so crowded there that it was hard to hear our tour guide at times

Visiting the Eiffel Tower

If you want to take all the thinking out of visiting the Eiffel Tower this is the way to do it. Sylvia organized everything from an easy to get to meeting point, getting through the lines with ease, learning about the Eiffel Tower in an entertaining manner which made the waiting go by quickly, and also educated us on the city of Paris with views.

Once in a lifetime!!

We had a truly wonderful experience. Sylvia was knowledgeable and friendly. Her explanations were detailed but not boring. She guided us through the other groups expertly. Truly exceptional.

The view from the summit was amazing! Took the stairs from 2nd floor to the first. Standing on the stairs behind the Olympic Rings was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Eiffel Tower access

Thanks Ekaette for the nice Eiffel (tower) trip ;-) many information and questions within the waiting time for our slot to the Top conjured up a smile in our face. :-)

Disappointed

Very disappointed- we paid to go to the summit and found out when we got to the ticket booth that there were too many people so we couldn’t go up. We paid good money and all we are getting back is $10 per person. Not happy after flying to Paris from the us to see the Eiffel Tower So disappointed

Sunset as the City of Lights lights up

Essien was a fantastic tour guide. Friendly, informative and patient. The 9 p.m. tour was perfect to see the City of Lights come alive.

Being able to go to the top of the tower was something I always wanted to do. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the tower.

Not happy at all

I tried to get in touch with the guide for around an hour letting him oor her know we had been dropped off at the wrong point and got no reply because of that we had to buy our tickets again. Not happy the guide did not respond at all

The guide was very knowledgeable and was very nice. The Eiffel Tower was spectacular. Really enjoyed looking at Paris from the top of the tower.

Two Thumbs Up

Michelle was personable and knowledgeable. We had a great time on her tour! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting “The Iron Lady.”

But an eticket instead

Unbelievable that this wasn’t a skip the line? We waited 2 hours in the same line as everyone else. I could have gotten an eticket and saved at least 1:30.

This tour was great. The one we had booked the day before was not since we were unable to arrive

Great tour. Edmund was our guide and he was great. Unfortunately we had a tour booked the day before and were not able to make it because of circumstances beyond our control which was acknowledged by Edmund. The President of China was in Paris and all streets were closed so we were unable to get there, we attempted to contact the tour operator to let them know but did not receive any response. We requested a refund and it was rejected. This is unacceptable!

Trip to the top.

Awesome trip to the top of the tower. Anna, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and made the trip great.. We would definitely recommend.

Anna was the best. Enjoyed the whole visit and was very courteous as we waited to get permission to gently he top floor. All was great.

Eiffel tower 2nd floor

Carmelle did a very good job as a tour guide. One point of criticism could be the long waiting time. I thought that we could use the fast lane for entry.

Disappointed

We were disappointed when arriving at the Eiffel Tower and found out we could only go to second level. We booked the tour to go to the summit. We are requesting a refund.
