We had an amazing experience at Just Art with Mona on April 21, 2024. First, I’m NOT an arts and crafts person. So I loved it when Mona asked us what our goal was for the jewelry making class. Took me a minute to realize that it was the creativity I craved. And so it happened. Mona lead us through a discovery of colors and shapes, testing styles & lengths of earrings with our faces. We got to draw all the possible shapes we liked, and then cut out and painting a paper versions of our earring. I never thought I would get to a place where I loved what I made. The earrings became more that just earrings, they became a reflection of me. Additionally, we are vegetarians and Mona prepared a Parisian-style vegetarian feast complete with wine to help to loosen the creativity bones. I strongly recommend Just Art! It’s a completely unique experience. Don’t worry about it, just go there, let your troubles fade away, and you might just discover a little bit about yourself in the process. Life changing. I really enjoyed my jewelry making session with Mona. She is experienced. She is also a fun figure and motivator. In this session, apart from gaining basic knowledge about how to make jewelry, I also learned something that I think is important, namely growing our ability to be patient in going through the entire process and exploring our creativity. I fully understand that with this 3 hours session, I will not be able to immediately take home the actual products; From my experience attending similar sessions, we only learned how to make basic or dummy products, while the finishing will be done by the organizer. I highly recommend anyone who wants to fill their time with activities that can improve our creativity or artistic skills to take part in creative sessions such as jewelry making with Mona. Interesting , original and enjoyable but you don’t make any jewelry yourself only design it

Mona is very welcoming and super nice. I got the session as a gift from friends. The experience was enjoyable but it was not what I expected which is my fault for not reading the details. I thought it would be a jewelry workshop to learn how to make a piece of jewelry from start to finish and leave with it. Mona explains the process and helps you to come up with and select a design for either a very small non hanging earring or necklace. Mona then makes the jewelry using a kind of resin that she developed and she sends it to you three months later. So although it was interesting and enjoyable you need to be aware that you do not actually make a piece of jewelry and leave with it.

Amazing calming class

This was such an amazing experience!! I learned so much about jewelry design and creation, while also learning how to just relax and have fun. Can’t recommend this experience enough!

Wonderful creative experience!

My daughter and I did this class together. It was so much fun designing our own unique pieces. Mona helped us bring out our creative side. Mona served us a light lunch and got to know us before we started designing. During lunch she taught us some fundamentals for jewelry design. We can’t wait to see our pieces in there finished form!

A fabulous experience!

This experience was fabulous! Mona was quite accommodating to my schedule. There was one other lady in my class. We sat and enjoyed a delicious lunch and chatted like we were old friends. Mona gave us the run down of the class, I already knew I would be paying extra because I love dangly earrings and those aren't included... but I was there for it! We worked together, the three of us, to find the best colors and shapes for myself and the other participant. They gave me advice, Mona and I gave the other lady advice. We were able to create and color our pieces on paper, "laminate" them to put them on our ear for an example, then we made clay copies. Now Mona is going to create replicas of the pieces we created in her unique style. She did tell us it takes about 3 months to get the piece, but shipping is included. I cannot wait to get my piece. It's not exactly what I thought I would've have done when I walked in, but I'm really confident and excited with what the three of us came up with for me. I will definitely wear them proudly! This was a great experience! I would do it again! They also both gave me recommendations for my trip based on their experiences. I walked away more than satisfied! Strongly recommend.

Awesome experience!

Among the many tour options that Paris offers, this was a great option to escape the same tourist routines. The instructor, Mona, is an extremely pleasant and friendly person. The experience was incredible, and it wasn't just limited to knowledge of jewelry, Mona made a point of helping with restaurant tips, and even walked with me to the river Seine to show me the beautiful way to the Effiel tower. An unexpectedly wonderful experience

Mona was a joy! The experience was totally unexpected, not at all what I imagined and I mean that in the best way possible. It was an exploration in creativity and the process of that creativity. And the dinner was amazing!! I would absolutely recommend this to everyone I know.

Amazing experience!!!! Took the class with my two teenagers and it was such a fantastic and memorable evening!! Mina made an incredible dinner for us and then worked with each of us to create a customized piece that we each loved and can’t wait to wear!! She made sure she understood each of our styles and what we each wanted to create the perfect piece. It was so special and we loved every second. Mona is so wonderful and talented!!!! Mona and her workshop is a magic balm for weary hearts, kids at heart, and everyone in between! I first stumbled upon the Just Art Paris experience in August 2022. Born and raised in NYC, I began traveling to other metropolis in SEARCH of unforgettable experiences across the globe. (Where else do you go when the Big Apple is your home? None other than Paris!) Prior to the workshop, I had had a few disheartening experiences during the "must dos" - Moulin Rouge, the Louvre, yet I wasn't ready to give up on seeking the magic of Paris that I was told by so many was sure to enchant me. Should I go home early?, I'd questioned, and fired up my computer - there I found a class that was touted as "hands on", "off the beaten path", and "quiet". I IMMEDIATELY booked a slot for 8AM the next day. I am SO glad I held out hope - the very next morning, Mona greeted me with a smile and eggs, and made me feel RIGHT at home, 4000 miles away. That was over a year ago! I have since returned to do another workshop, and honestly, learned JUST as much if not more than I did the first time, about jewelry design, and life at large. No matter your creativity level, design background, or taste, Mona cultivates a unique environment and energy that is simply unforgettable. Unique experience

Mona is a warm, inviting woman who brings out your creativity, even in someone like me, which I don’t consider myself creative at all. Mona made us feel comfortable and confident in our jewelry making skills. Afterwards, she sent us pictures and videos of our experience as well as making recommendations for other places to visit while on our trip in Paris. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

Mona’s.a superstar

Definitely a 5 star event!! Mona is a great host and designer!! She prepared a wonderful dinner. When it came time for designing your jewelry Mona had a series of questions that made you question think about yourself which gave us design ideas that had personal meaning. Mona process provoked ideas so that we were able find a basic theme, make various sketches, color them, try each one on to chose a final design. Interestingly, the design met all of the personal thoughts that Mona had you think of through her questions. We can’t wait to see the final product. Unfortunately the process takes about 3 months to complete.. We realize that art is not an overnight process. UThis class has been one of the highlites of our visit to Paris.

The Best Time!

We had the Best experience! I would highly recommend designing jewelry! It was a highlight of our trip! My best friend and I showed up to a gourmet breakfast feast that was made for us! It was so delicious! We all got to know eachother and got comfortable. I am not crafty at all but you don't have to be to do this. Anyone can do it! We were taken step by step and had a blast! I can't wait to get our handcrafted earrings! We will be back next time we visit!

A wonderful father and daughter activity in the heart of Paris

Wow what a fantastic afternoon! My daughter (15) and I have come to Paris for a long weekend for some daddy / daughter time and she found this activity for us to do. I was delighted at the prospect of having her attention for a few hours (and a bit nervous about what level of creativity I’d need to have). We started off with a relaxing light lunch and got to know Mona, who is an amazing woman and an example of what you can achieve if you put your mind to it. The jewellery designing was great. Mona put me at ease - my role was to assist the great designer, my daughter. There was a clear method to what we were doing and it was really creative, in a really open and accepting way (even as a boring corporate lawyer I felt involved in the creative process!). Key thing is my daughter had a wonderful experience and the jewellery will hopeful be a great reminder of a Lena afternoon with her dad. I couldn’t recommend this activity more. Thanks Mona!

Unique and collaborative fun in Paris

My partner and I truly enjoyed this very unique experience in Paris and we highly recommend this for anyone who wants to do an activity that is truly out of the ordinary. Mona started off with a delicious lunch she prepared where we got to get to know each other prior to beginning the jewelry design workshop. She is very warm and seemed genuinely curious about getting to know each of us, so we both felt very comfortable. Once the workshop started she made sure each of us were very involved in the design processes and quickly understood each of our strengths so she was able to tailor the experiences with those observations. She gave us freedom to try unusual designs and encouraged all ideas-crazy and all. It was very interesting learning about the design process and getting to apply those skills in real time. It’s a very collaborative process and truly fun between the conversation, hands-on tasks, and the flowing wine. Great bonding or team-building experience as well. We truly enjoyed this and recommend this experience to anyone (“creative” or not). As long as you come in with an open mind and willingness to participate, anyone can let their inner creativity shine here with the guidance of Mona.

Time well spent making art aka jewelry

What a unique and fabulous activity to do mid day in Paris. Mona is a special person with an artistic flair that transcends her jewelry. Her art space is a mix of warmth and understated fashion. She keeps the conversation going-I probably told more about myself to the strangers I met than I have to my good friends. Additionally, she made us think about what drives us and what could we share about our passions. An unforgettable experience, and jewelry that will be cherished forever...

This was my second time designing my own luxury jewelry at the Just Art atelier in Paris. Again, an absolutely unforgettable experience! :) The host, Mona is the kindest, most sincere person who really empowers you to use your intuition and inner creativity to design jewelry that best expresses who you are. She has such a streamlined, well thought out process for designing, that takes jewelry beyond just a sparkling accessory to wear... her jewelry has a soul to it. Some of my absolute favorite memories of Paris were created in this atelier... this experience is absolutely worth it.

An exceptional experience

The afternoon I spent in Mona’s studio was exceptional. Although I have a lot of experience in engraving and silver work, I have not had any instruction in design. After a delicious lunch, we moved to the workshop where I was mentored in a most thoughtful, caring, and effective way through the process of designing a pair of earrings, then refining my design first through paper and then 3-D models to a very attractive result. One of a kind jewelry Making Experience in Paris!

My husband and I had the most most memorable time designing jewelry in Mona's atelier. Mona takes the time to understand your personal style and taste, explains the process. then the hands on work begins! She has deep expertise and an expert eye that helps to teach and guide newcomers how to make unique and beautiful jewelry. Such a fun and unique experience that my daughter and I were able to share together. The lunch was delicious and exactly what we wanted. During the jewelry design workshop Mona asked us excellent questions to get our creative juices flowing and it helped to get us out of our comfort zone. Amazing Parisian experience

My girlfriend and I enjoyed everything about this experience starting with meeting Mona! Mona greeted us at the door to her studio and gave us a tour including a fabulous lunch. After the initial ‘meet and greet’, we went upstairs and began designing our jewelry set that included a necklace with matching earrings. Mona was intimately involved through the entire session. We highly recommend this Parisian experience and can’t wait to receive our finished product!

A Fun Time Making Jewelry With Mona

From the moment we entered her studio, Mona was so welcoming , warm, and engaging. She went out of her way to provide a special lunch, and to make the experience fun for all of us ( my husband and I, and our two young children 10 and 13yo.) She had a quiz game prepared as a fun way for us to learn about jewelry making , and engaged us all together in the design process of each of our pieces. The various collections of handmade jewelry on display were beautiful, and I am confident our pieces will look stunning as well. This was much more than a class in jewelry making; it was an experience not to be missed. When we left, I felt like Mona was a good friend who together with we shared another day of wine, laughs, and interesting conversation. I even gave her a hug goodbye!

A personalized and truly unique experience

I planned this activity as a (sort of) surprise gift for my wife on our trip to Paris, choosing the breakfast (morning) session with Mona. Mona makes you feel welcomed and at ease in her beautiful private apartment/atelier in Le Marais. We sat with her to have a wonderful and delicious Parisian breakfast and we got to learn about her life, her passions, and her work and vice versa. The meal and chat prior to the jewelry class is brilliant because you start the work in a calm (and satiated!) state. During the class, Mona encourages tranquility and creativity that help you learn the process and express yourself. The class portion is roughly 2 hours in which my wife and I were amazingly able to come up with a unique design for beautiful earrings. Before we knew it, class was over but the timing of the whole morning felt perfectly un-rushed. Mona even gave us great tips for her favorite places check out in the neighborhood. To sum it up simply: a truly unique and lovely Parisian activity where you not only feel like a part of the city for a few hours, but you have the opportunity to create a piece of art with the help of an artisan jeweler. Highly recommended!

An afternoon of creative comraderie

Let's start with the atmosphere. It was more like visiting a friend in their quaint apartment than going to a business. Mona was a super accommodating hostess. She prepared a delicious lunch with salmon fresh herbs shrimp avocado cheese and wine. We got to know each other and left having made new friends. Now to the jewelry making...Mona guided us through the process with her expertise while allowing personal creativity to shine through. The entire afternoon was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. Highly recommend!

This experience… where to start 😍 From the most beautiful pair of earrings to the great opportunity to meet and learn from amazing Mona, this experience is unique every step of a way. Fun and unique expérience like nothing else we’ve ever done!

My wife and I just did this and were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We didn’t know what to expect, but figured it would be a quaint few hours learning about art and doing some hands on work in a work shop. Boy were we wrong! This is so much more, and I strongly recommend it for anyone who is interested in a truly unique experience in a very private setting. I won’t give it all away, but in a nutshell, you are invited into a private jewelry studio near Le Marais (nice neighborhood in Paris) and begin with some wine and a light meal. You’ll meet Mona during this time, a fascinating women full of love and passion for people and art. She is fluent in English so a plus for non-French speakers. After eating, Mona takes you to the studio, where you literally design jewelry from scratch. I have zero experience with jewelry so I was sure I would not really find much fun in this, but before I knew it, my pencil was running crazy (wine probably helped!) and next thing I knew, I was using tools and machines I’ve never used before and actually created a model set of earrings. What we built were just the shapes out of light wood, and Mona will now spend several weeks to turn those models into the real thing and then send them to us. All in all a very good experience that is off the beaten path and very much something we will never forget. Thanks Mona!!

My Earrings, My Creation!

This experience was more than just making jewelry. Mona is a lovely host, excellent cook , an artist who enjoys her craft and loves working with people equally. The events of the afternoon far exceeded my expectations. Not only did I get to create a fabulous pair of earrings, I learned how to enjoy the process as well.

My wife and I had an excellent time and experience in this class, which Mona made truly memorable. Mona's hospitality, expertise and skill was first class, and she was very welcoming, friendly and engaging. We learnt so much about the craft from her, and can't wait to see to final product!

I can't say that there is a 'favorite' part of the experience as I feel that it was less of a one-off event than a meeting with someone special that was such an inspiration in my own life. Mona is such a beautiful soul, you would be very lucky to share a meal and a creative experience with her. The jewellery is the icing on the cake. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the work is unique. If you are visiting Paris, make this your first stop. As a repeat customer from Australia, I will be returning the next time I am in Paris and I tell all of my friends that this is an experience not to miss.

Full of surprises!

I purchased this experience for my wife's birthday. What we expected was to eat breakfast and sip wine with other couples while Mona took our directions in designing custom jewelry. What we got was a bit different. First, when we arrived, we were surprised to find no other couples. After Mona led us to her downstairs dining area and presented us with our brunch (we'd switched to the brunch option), she informed us that we were lucky; we were the only couple for that session. We enjoyed our delicious brunch which Mona had prepared just for us. We all chatted for a while before getting started. Once we returned to her work area upstairs, Mona explained the various components and procedures of creating jewelry. This was a bit more interactive than expected as not only did we wear the magnifying glass masks that she did, but she also instructed us in manipulating the little metal rings that would eventually connect the top and bottom of the earrings. My wife chose among several preset design options then she and I both drew templates of earring shapes based on Mona's guidance and instruction. We also cut out the shapes of the earrings based on our drawings. For me, this was a little intense as I'm visually impaired and was working with very small pieces. Once my wife had made all her final selections, Mona informed me that for that size of earring, it'd cost more. This was a bit of an embarrassing surprise as 1. I'd been under the impression that the price of the experience included the total cost of the earrings and 2. since it was my wife's birthday present, I hadn't wanted her to be aware of prices. Once all decisions were made and designs were picked, we bid Mona adieu. After little over two months, I checked in and Mona informed me that the earrings were almost done. Another two days and we received them by messenger. They were stunning! So, overall, a very worthwhile experience if a bit unexpected at times.

True Bijou

Mona is a very heartwarming person! So was her dinner too! I felt like I was with an old friend! With her there are no rules in art. I don't make a selection. I'm supposed to create something of my own. So this is not a traditional workshop. It's more like a self-discovery. - In the different way. Thank you Mona, that I can grow on my own.✨ The finished earrings have a super quality and absolutely correspond to the price/performance ratio. My idea was very well realised and I also recognise Mona's recognition value.

Best night I had in Paris!

Probably the best night I had in Paris and one of the most unique experiences I had traveling abroad. Mona is such a lovely person, she welcomed me to her studio where we had wine and delicious dinner she made for us participants. We got to know each other and then started creating our jewelry - this was a fun experience as Mona taught us to use her professional tools and design a piece of our own, each with personal care and thought. I'd recommend it to anyone who has some free time in Paris - even if you're not into jewelry still you get a lovely dinner (or lunch!) and you get to know Mona and her interesting stories.
