Nice town with historic architecture and river cruise

The Canal Cruise was wonderful. captain was knowledgable and engaging with the group. My husband and I enjoyed the cruise very much. We had a few minutes to buy a traditional lunch while there and that was good. Our guide Amelia was horrible, rude and arrogant. Lacks compassion and respect for customers on board and during the tour.

Fun day in Bruges!

Great day and so glad my daughter and i did it. It's worth the time for a day trip out of Paris. It's a long day but well worth the early start and late ending.

A great day trip to Bruges.

We had a lovely time in Bruges and Amanda was an excellent guide. The process was simple and straightforward and everything went as planned. Be forewarned that the buses do not have usb chargers. (At least ours did not)

Good for Logistics, But Mediocre Experience

The logistics of being able to get straight from Paris to Bruges was great. Our tour itself was very mediocre with the guide being a bit cluttered and disorganized, often going on tangents unrelated to the city. The group was also a mixed language tour which made for a choppy experience. We felt like we were held hostage until we got the canal cruise tickets. Once we did, we broke off from the group and had a great time.

This was a very fun day, even if long. Manuela was an absolutely wonderful guide. She helped us to see the highlights of Bruges, and gave great tips for free time.

Magical Bruges

Bruges was magical! Natty was a lovely guide, taking care to keep the group together and informed. The bus ride was comfortable and relaxing, with a stop for restrooms and coffee each way.

Recommended trip!

We had a wonderful day at Bruges! Delicious waffles and chocolates. There is an excellent way to know this historical city.

Great day trip from Paris

We had a very personable tour guide and the motor coach was so comfortable. A real interesting and fun day trip for Paris.

Waste of time and money.

Waste of time! Almost 9 hours on an old and poorly maintained “luxury” bus for only 4 hours in Bruges. The tour was a combination of English and Spanish speakers with 2 tour guides. Our English speaking guide was barely intelligible compounded by speaking while chewing gum. His one hour walk with us through town with offhanded comments was the “tour”. The highlight of the day was the 30 minute canal tour through Bruges with a charming guide. All in all, not worth the time and money.

Great Day Trip from Paris!

Love this day trip! We didn't do the audio guided tour so was basically our ride to and from Bruges! Bus was clean and had a stop in either direction for food and the restroom. Had plenty of time in Bruges for lunch and sightseeing. Definitely recommend!

Nice one day trip to Bruges from Paris

Excellent trip for one day. We went on Dec 24, so we had the luck to find a X-mas festival in the city. We like the atmosphere (even it as very cold and rain). We could walk around the entire city, I would like to come back during summer.

Terrible service

I went on tour. I was told that the bus had a bathroom. Once the bus took off the customers were told the bathroom was out of order. I am a disabled vet and i did have an accident on the bus because a bathroom stop was 2 hours into the trip. I had to file a dispute to try and get my money back. And the company refused. The tour guide informed me that the bathroom do work. But the owners of the bus stated that it cost too much to maintain the bathrooms. So the tour guides are to let customers know that the bathroom is out of service even though the bathroom is in working order. And they do not let you know until the tour has started. I think this is very deceitful mainly to people like me with medical problems that require using the bathroom. I would not recommend this tour or this company. As a disabled vet with limited resources i feel that i was taken advantage of on purpose. I reached out to company twice and never got a response they just refused to give me a refund. They seem to be more interested in just taking your money. I am very disappointed in this company.

Great time with friends

Had a great time in Bruges. Long drive but we were able to nap along the way due to our hectic stay in Paris so it works out fine. I recommend staying a day or 2 in this area of Belgium to really experience it.

Walking through the shops...

Walking through the shops of Bruges and eating at the Eatalian Restaurant. I edited the original reservation from 3 adult travelers to 2. Contacted Paris Vision and Viator as instructed. But, the 2 of us were double booked for the tour.

Excellent trip. Guide Julien was thorough and thoughtful. Bruges a beautiful place very walkable. Good waffles and local Zot beer

Great trip, wish we had more time!

Andre did a great job as our tour guide. Information was very helpful and he gave good suggestions for food and shopping. The canal tour was really nice despite the hot temps. Wished we had more time to explore the area but all in all a great day!

Too short a time in Bruges

I’m Round trip travel including midway stop total 8 hours leaving just 4 1/2 to view sites. Instead of meeting at 4 pm at bus to return, should meet at 7 arriving back 11 pm.

Nice Place, Too Long a Ride.

Bruges is still a beautiful city, but so much more commercialized than I remember it. They have ruined the charm of the main square by putting up stands. I thought it was still a nice place, but I would think twice if I had known it would be a 4 hour drive each way to and from Paris.

A wonderful picturesque place with original charm

It was trip to a lovely place with the original charm that survived the war. It is a uniquely beautiful place and the tour guide led us through the town in a way that we would not have been aware of. The boat ride gave you another beautiful perspective. The travel time does make for a very long day.

Enjoyable visit of an historical town

Guided visit of the town with a knowledgeable lady by the name of Manuela. Great boat tour allowing us to see what could not be covered on foot.

No boat tickets for audio guide

When I bought it ( the audio guide) in the post says that they give you the ticket to the boat in Brujas, but once there the guide told me that the boat tickets were just for the guide visit, the time to meet in downtown they weren't there I was there one hour before, then I had to take a taxi for not lose the bus. About the good things bus was comfortable the guide kind and obviously the place make any visit wonderful.

Horrible experience.

On the way back we were on the bus at 4:15 pm to go back to Paris. The police at Brugge, at 5:30 asked the 80 passengers to get off the bus because it had to go to the police station. Em the tour guide said another bus was coming in 1 hr 30 min. Then that we had to wait for another bus another hour, then the same story about 5 times. We had to leave the park and walk to the train station because I was getting cold and there were no bathroom’s. We waited and waited and finally the bus came at 11:30pm. We got back to the Pullman Hotel at Darcy at 3am. There was no metro, so we had to pay an Uber to get home. Terrible service with the contracted tour We would like refunds for my husband and me.

PARIS city Vision Tours 1 out of 10

We had the unfortunate experience of being taken to the wrong meeting point, not our fault, made numerous calls to say we would be there 5 minutes late to please wait, myself and elderly parents, they refused to wait, it cost us hundreds of dollars, and refused putting us on an alternative tour, or refund, we were extremely upset as we tried everything to get to the meeting point. It was to be a highlight of our holiday but it just broke our heart really, nil consideration, Get You Guide was who we purchased tickets throught we were direct back to them, were as heartless, just repeated its their policy, nothing like case by case, let's try to assist, just be aware if you fall I to a situation you will be left stranded and out of pocket😭😭

Brugge Magic

It was more amazing than I expected. Brugge is a medieval town preserved intact as it was built. The Spanish guide was the best guide European guide you can ever met

Bruge trip

The place must see. Evwn we dont have a tour guide. The audio pen and Map is supicient enough for us to use to go around the City. I've recommended this trip if your in Paris.

Great place to visit in a short time.

Was a wonderful but very short trip, we were only at Bruges about 4 hours and there is much to see in very little time. If you do the tour with the guide then you will have less time for yourself. We did the audio guide which gave us the freedom to explore on our own, take the boat ride and get something to eat. If you don’t mind a short tour for f the town then it will be perfect for you as I enjoyed it just fine. Definitely recommend it!

Enjoyed the views. Wish we had an extra hour there. Worth the trip but I bit short. We were back by 9pm ish in Paris. Wouldn’t have minded to get back later if I got more time in Bruges

Needed more time in Bruges...too rushed to get canal ride completed

History and tour were good. Needed to have more time in Bruges. Felt very rushed to see key places and do boat tour.

The trip was the best...

The trip was the best About the 2 lady helping us and one spoke perfectly Spanish and English very helpful and calmthe other who spoke French treated us very badly when we asked for information, a very big disappointment because, we unsdertand that was accompanying us TO HELP us .

Bruges is a beautiful must see city!

Brugge is a beautiful city with great food/beer and interesting architecture at each turn. Unfortunately, the guided tour was not great. The speaker was hard to understand and did not cover the history of the city or country, just pointed out the touristy aspects. Definitely go to Brugge even for a day, but skip the guided tour. Leave more time to explore on your own and definitely take a boat tour.

Brujas is terrific

Rocio, the tour guide, was owesome. Very knowledgeable. Brujas is an amazing medioeval city. Fantastic experience. Highly recomendable

Beautiful city, dreadful tour

Bruges is beautiful the trip there was not up to par. The coach was dirty, the AC was minimal, the bathroom was inaccessible and the driver only stopped once for a toilet break. The timing of the excursion was dreadful. We arrived and were walked through the city, on to a boat ride when it should have been lunch first, walk the city, then the boat and escorted out of the city. I was disappointed in the service.

Bruges Beauty

Fun day trip to Bruges from Paris. This quaint town has so much charm and beauty. And good -fries with mayo, Belgium chocolate and waffles-were delicious.

Disappointment in a Beautiful City

Bruges is wonderful. Our guide was great and the bus driver was very pleasant. However, because of the distance from Paris by bus there was not enough time in Bruges. Out of a 15 hour day that begins at 7:15am, we barely had 4 1/2 hrs in Bruges. The first hour was a lovely walking tour; the guide was patient, walked at an appropriate speed, showed us 3 squares and pointed out significant buildings. He then gave us our canal cruise tickets. And here’s where things did not work out due to lack of time. It was a long line for the cruise, during which time only one boat came by. We decided that we needed to skip the cruise if we were going to have time to eat lunch. Our meal was wonderful. If you eat mussels, be sure to get them - they were amazing! And of course the beer was very good and welcomed in a hot day. But there was literally no time to do anything else. We ducked our heads into the church to see the Michelangelo sculpture of Madonna and child. And that was it. No time to explore the chocolate or lace shops, no time for a church or museum - time to go back to the bus. The bus is horrible - extremely cramped seats and minimal air conditioning. 4 hours to Bruges and 6 hours back to Paris (due to rush hour) is a long time to be that uncomfortable. Do I recommend Bruges? Yes! Stay overnight and enjoy their nighttime beauty with many less tourists crowding the streets. Do I recommend doing it through a tour like this? Unfortunately, no.

Beautiful walkable town with delicious food!

Beautiful picturesque town with much to see. The waffles, fries, mussels, beer and chocolates are a must to taste!

The trip was great!...

The trip was great! Bruges is a must see and the guided tour and canal cruise were a great way to learn about the history of Bruges. There was enough time to spend exploring on your own after the guided tour.

Didn't feel welcome

I cannot recommend this tour unless you are Spanish speaking. Lengthy explanations of both practical and cultural information by the guides were not provided for English speakers ...terse, brief information was provided. Neither guides nor driver stood at the door to ensure safe passage of the very steep exit/entry steps. In actual fact, we just didn't feel welcome although I'm sure our money was! Another Viatour booked for tomorrow but it may very well be the last.

A good taste of Bruges!

We loved Bruges and this day trip made us want to do a longer stay! Tour guide Steve was outstanding!!! It was great to get such one on one attention as our group of Americans was only 6!!! This was great! Interestingly the bus tour was primarily Hispanics and they were not friendly but we simply shared a bus w them and then we're on our own. Love beautiful Bruges!

Not worth the money

The good: Canal cruise. The bad: Bus toilet non functional. Guides English was unintelligible. Guide only provided map after request and asked for it back after tour. Was not able to find way back to bus without assistance from another guide. Only three hours to shop. Paid almost $400 for 8 hr bus ride and a beer in Bruges. Will be requesting a refund

Loved

Such a beautiful city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave very clear instructions. He made sure we knew where to go and what time to be back so as not to get lost. We had the canal cruise option which I highly recommend. Such a good way to see the city and avoid the crowds a little. All in all a great experience

Brugge is awesome, the tour is not

Brugge itself is beautiful and charming, very worth the visit. However, the tour was disposable: the bus seats were not all inclining as expected, there problems with the heat and it was quite dirty. Then the guide, Eleanor, barely exchanged a word with us during the trip and once we got to Brugge, she walked so fast it was impossible to go along and enjoy/ take pictures. So having her as guide and no one would be practically the same. Finally, the agency informed us to be at the meeting point at 7:15 AM. We got there 7:12AM and we’re notified that we were 30min late though we didn’t receive any message informing us the time had changed. Sad for Paris City Vision company, totally do not recommend it.

Perfect day!

Lovely, everything! The guide spoke English clearly and was very informative. Enjoyed our time. Will definitely recommend.

We felt rushed

Bruges is a beautiful city with a lot of history, but we only got to spend two hours on our own to eat, shop and enjoy the canal cruise. We would have preferred a later departure from the city which would have allowed us to do all of those things at a leisurely pace.

Worth the 3-hour trip

Julien was a great guide. Bruges has wonderful chocolates and it was fun to taste many samples. Great historic little town showcasing many styles of architecture. Would definitely go back to explore more thoroughly.

The guide’s recommendations were very good.

Our audio guide was excellent. Re the day; I may be inexperienced and possibly misread the description, likely both, but it’s a lot of travel for a short visit. Gathering the troops for departure was over complicated - why not just have HQ text everyone at 15 & 30 before or something.

A disappointing day

This was very disappointing. We spent over 3 hrs on the bus so there was plenty of time for the guide to explain how the day would go. He should've told us he would guide us for a tour and then we had time on our own. We did not have enough time in shops and really learned very little about the town from our guide. He was terrible.

City was beautiful, tour was not

Our guide , Andre was terrible. He did not point out anything along the way on the bus, once we got to Brugges… he disappeared within 15 minutes and left half of the tour behind. We then spent the next hour and a half looking for him so we could get our canal tickets. If it weren’t for another tour member with a “location app” on their phone for their teenage son, we would not have found him.We then did the rest of the day without the tour. The city was beautiful but unfortunately the “guided tour” was NOT a tour. It was very disappointing and I would not recommend this company.
