Not happy

Driver was good most headphones did not work. Better with a live person like in New York. They tell more things and are interactive. This was boring. Could not hear that well and not enough information was given Neighborhood information where important people lived and so on

Good way to see Paris for first time

BigBus was great way to see highlights of Paris. Easy to turn on Viator ticket for paper one at first stop. Nice to have some covered area on top deck too.

Great Experience!

Despite the route adjustments made to prepare for the Summer Olympics, the tour was very enjoyable. I got to see so much in the short time I had available on my business trip and would highly recommend either the bus tour or the boat cruise or both.

Good but not awesome

The Hop-on bus was the best way to get acclimated to the fabulous sights of Paris. Unfortunately, we missed our prepaid tour of the Eifel Tower when the bus omitted that area of town due to traffic. Then another day, we had to walk miles back to our hotel because the bus diverted the route away from the Arc de Triumph stop due to heavy traffic.

Paris bus tour

This bus tour was great to be able to get off at any stop along the way and walk around. Was grateful for the open top to be able to take photos of all the great sights along the route.

Wasn't there

The computer put in the wrong day when I realized it and call they had me repay only to tell me they could not refund the payment for the error so I'm out out of Over $550 😠

Great time to be had

I really enjoyed this. The driver's were friendly. The collection places were easy to find. Fantastic choice of destinations

Missed it due to difficulties

Unfortunately we could not take part in this. We had some difficulties arriving on the 13th. Would you be kind and provide another booking for Sunday, 16th?

Not Worth the Mone

We booked this to make sure our family saw the highlights of Paris. Unfortunately, it was not worth the money. The bus took two hours to move from one stop to the next—we just sat in heavy traffic for a while. We could have walked much of the route in the time we were sitting on the bus. The commentary only played when we hit stops, which took a while, so much of it was sitting in silence. We have small kids, so we thought this would be a fun way to see Paris without wearing them out, but it was not worth the money due to the traffic.

Easy and cheap way to get around

Great ways to find out each landmarks to the city you are in. Easy system, however the station to get to is a bit confusing.

Great way to see Paris

Relaxing and scenic ride, pretty decent commentary, comfortable seating. Only negative was the amount of traffic, but still a lot to look at.

Crazy traffic, glad I wasn't driving. Nice way to see the city highlights. River cruise was pleasant.

Hop On Hop Off Bus

The hop on hop off bus was okay. We got the face to face seats for four which were awful. No leg room, so I would suggest not taking those. In our case they were the only ones left. But you get to see a lot of the sights in Paris with the option to get off. We chose to ride it all the way thru on the Red line. I would recommend especially if the weather is nice with no rain.

Perfect way to see Paris!

Perfect way to see Paris! The buses were very clean and arrived on time as promised. There is no more efficient and comfortable way to explore a city like Paris. We also enjoyed the audio experience, it was funny and engaging!

Highly recommend!

Great way to see the city of Paris all while relaxing on the bus. It stops at all of the major tourist attractions including Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and Louvre plus many more. All with informative commentary via headphones. Hop on and hop off at your leisure. I would definitely recommend especially if you’re a first time visitor. It’s a great way to familiarise yourself with the city and get a good sense of where you want to explore.

Great way to see the Paris sites

Perfect way to see the top Paris sites. Our first time in Paris and this allowed us to get a feel for the sites and then it was easy and flexible which then allowed us to go at our own pace. Highly recommend this tour to see Paris!!

Not worth the money

I've been on the Big Bus Paris Hop-On Hop-Off Tour on previous visits to Paris. It was not very enjoyable this time. The audio broke down and wasn't working. Had to change buses. The audio spoke of sites and buildings where it wasn't clear which site/building was being spoken about.

Worth doing

Really enjoyed the hop on tour and cruise. I’ve done a lot of these and I always appreciate the chance to see a number of attractions and learn about them.

Unhappy

Not too happy when at 6pm. The bus services stop running, leaving us stuck and having to find our way back to the startling location.

Hop on hop off

We were able to see most of the popular sites in Paris in a short amount of time. Not as many stops as we would like but construction and Olympics contributed to that.

Easy to negotiate thru Paris

Sometimes not close enough to see the place they were describing but great way to get your bearings about Paris.

Big Bus Paris

Big Bus was fun and a good way to see the city. Highly recommend going. It. wasn't too crowded. Only bad part the air conditioning was way too cold.

Poor customer service

When I arrived at the bus stop, I was told by a representative that our ticket wasn’t valid even though it we purchased a 2 day ticket for last Saturday and Sunday. We ended up purchasing two adult day tickets (so paid twice!!) and was told to take it up with the tour operator. I did this immediately upon my return from our trip and requested a refund for the original ticket which was declined - really poor customer service

Best view on the Streets of Paris

We were lucky to get on the bus first and sat up top in the front row. The view was incredible and the information provided helped us understand where we were.

False advertising for pickup point

When i purchased the tickets for big red bus Paris online you said the pickup point was across from the pyramid in front of the louvre. It wasnt. I spent over an hour to look for the real pickup spot 1/2 mi away. Our group had elderly that couldnt walk so we had to take a taxi to the bus stop.Once we found out where it was. Tour was ok but it was such trouble to do. I wouldnt have bought the tickets if had told the truth about where the bus stops to pick up. False advertising doesnt help your business. Low marks for this.

Not recommending for Paris at this time

First day on the Paris hop on hop off bus was great on June 10,2024. Today, June 11,2024…I’m still on the bus and the driver is horrible! Stopping abruptly, yelling at other busy drivers, almost hit a pedestrian and constantly honking at other drivers. Also, did NOT stop at all the available stops. At two points he stopped the bus, got off and we all sat waiting for him not knowing of he was coming back. On top of all of this, we had a wheelchair and unlike in London, your buses in Paris had no wheelchair seating. My son had to fold the wheelchair and lug it into the bus and I had to hobble up carefully with a cane. If I had been completely immobile, I wouldn’t have been able to use the ticket.

The views were great but the commentary was a little off and a couple of the stops were closed. They were helpful when I called though

Great journey!

Very convenient and easy to use. We were able to get off and back on easily. We enjoyed the information about all of the buildings and sites.

Great for Overview of Paris

Definately a good way to get an overview of Paris, especially if on your first visit. Weather permitting, sit on the top level to get better views of the sites, including the opportunity for taking photos. I recommend taking the full tour first, then take a second round and get of at stops you select. This will minimize wait times to reboard the bus.

Great experience

This was a great tour that rode us around the sights of Paris and gave us the history of so much. This is the first hop on bus we have used that we didn’t have to wait for a second bus at anytime. We have used others that were crazily overbooked but this one was not!

It is NOT 24 hours

This is not 24 hours. Better check your ticket, it will show a time like 9-5:30 pm. It will say it is not valid with evening tours. The tour operator for this should not be even putting a 24 hours access if its only limited for certain hours.

Great way to see Paris

This was the best hop on hop off big bus we used. Great tour and nice sights. Plenty of room and lots of stops to utilize the hop on and off feature.

Good but we should have been warned about closure of stops and perhaps discount offered for that element

Bus Tour itself was good but loads of stops were not operating so we didn’t get there but no advance notice was given when we booked this tour. Cruise on Seine was lovely and good value for money these 2 trips and entrance to Arc de’ Triomphe covered by 1 price

Happy camper with more busses

Easy to find and good audio, yet not enough busses as they got crowded at key sites. The river cruise was well worth it and we enjoyed our day in Paris.

We went to all the main attractions, easy access on and off the bus, excellent way to travel around Paris, it was so good we looked for this bus in every city we visited

Do it, no question

This is a great way to visit the main interest points. Get on, tour a bit, get off and shop and see, then back on. Can do it all day for the price of a ticket.

Great first day tourist option

Arrived in Paris from Canada on the red eye and by the time we got to our hotel we were looking for something easy to do as we were dead tired from travel. The hop on hop off bus tour afforded us an easy way to see and Orient ourselves to the city of Paris.

Sightseeing made simple

Travelling with two kids in tow the Big Bus Tour was a no brainer for our day of sightseeing in Paris. Having previously done Big Bus Tours in London & New York it was a company I was familiar with. We booked tickets via Civitatis some months earlier and were emailed vouchers instantaneously which we exchanged on the day for a printed receipt with QR code to show to the drivers. After our trip to the Eiffel Tower, we joined the Big Bus Tour at stop 8 which was easy to find. There were a couple of Big Bus Tour agents available who provided us with the receipt & map. They also discussed optional tour upgrades such as the sightseeing cruise on the river Seine. On board the bus there were headphones available to listen to commentary in your chosen language. The great thing about Big Bus Paris is that there was only one loop with 10 stops making it accessible to see all the major sights within a day. Stop 9 is temporarily unavailable due to ongoing roadworks & this was explained prior to our departure and also printed in the Big Bus map. The map also had a few discounted vouchers for local attractions. Big Bus Paris staff were friendly & approachable and buses were clean. We were always able to find a seat on board and the buses were never too crowded. Don't hesitate to book your tickets with Big Bus Paris.

Good to see the sights

Several of the bus stops were closed and at times the guided recordings were so low we couldn’t hear them even after turning up the volume. Overall though, it was a convenient way to get around to see the sights.

Fun to hop on and off!

I would totally do this again. It was fun but you have to be ready to jump off at the stops. They don't stop if no one is at the stop or no one looks to be trying to get off before the actual stop. Paris traffic slowed down the buses alot. Sometimes, it was faster to walk but that isnt the bus's fault. Also, bus does limited stops after 5pm.

Bus full of nothing

Too many (4) stops were closed with very short notice. Lack of communication with me regarding this especially when we dont speak french, gaining direction was very difficult from drivers. Bus has plenty of earphones but none of the audio's on the bus worked. Optional river cruise was way over packed not making it an enjoyable ride. I would never recommend booking with this company again.

Commentary missing

Great to see Paris. Shame we had no commentary as not working. As it was my daughters first time in Paris I felt she missed out on knowing more about your brilliant buildings

Bad Experience with Big Bus

My family and I were trying to take the tour and tried to find the bus. At first, it was not straightforward (certain streets were closed), and we did not understand it. Then, a bus appeared. We tried to get on the bus, but the woman driving the bus rudely told us to go to a different location. She even rolled her eyes at us when we did not know where to go. (She also gave the terrible service to other people too). We tried to look for the different location, but we could not find it. We eventually asked police officers where to go, but they said that they had never heard of it. We then realized that we probably were not going to get on the bus. We were disappointed with this but, as luck would have it, we found somebody else who was willing to drive us privately around the city for a cheaper price. Overall, I would not recommend.

First time in Paris

fun. Unfortunately our headset outlets didn’t work so we were not able to hear the tour and most of the stops were closed due to the Olympics coming in July with no discount given however it was our first time so we made the best out of it and it was very exciting especially since most of our transportation had been by Uber or walking

Great over view of Paris main sites.

Great way to see all the main tourist attractions in a couple of hours. Not great for taking pictures and windscreen on top deck needed a good clean. Bus driver was amazing manoeuvring through the traffic. She did a great job and the ride was enjoyable.

Great way to jump around Paris!

Our driver, Royce/Rice.. can't remember his name but he was great and friendly. Despite having the ear plugs, the drivers communication was priceless.

Best Way to See Paris: Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour

Hop-On Hop-Off Bus is a great way to see any major city that offers them! I’ve done other Hop-On Hop-Off tours in other cities, and this one in Paris was okay. It’s a great way to see the city, but I felt the audio narrator wasn’t as engaging as on other tours I have been on. The bus provides you with earbuds, so there’s no need to bring your own. I noticed some people not listening to the audio, but I recommend grabbing a pair of earbuds you might learn a tidbit or two. I suggest doing the tour early, riding it around, and listening to the entire tour. Then, ride it again and begin your adventure of hopping off and on.
