Arc de Triomphe + Rooftop Access Tickets

The Arc was great the ticket provider TERRIBLE

We never received the third email we were promised that contained our tickets. We went to the Arc de Triomphe to see if we would be allowed entry with the first email. We were denied and had to wait in line to purchase new tickets. We have requested a refund but have been denied. We purchased many events for this trip and this is the only one we had problems with.

Honouring and Remembering

Shoulder season, so quick access with pre bought tickets. The circular stairs took a while but I enjoyed these (got chatting to others) & there's a lift. The information & displays were excellent. Early version of the 'unknown soldier' sculpture on display - so good - had an emotional impact for sure. Views from top were great, down the lengths of 5 or 6 avenues (incl champs elysees). Highly recommend this - including the outside with the everlasting flame & 'tomb of the unknown soldier'. A very respectful place.

SCAM

Tickets never received. PDF would not open. Emailed the operator and they said no refund. No way to speak with anyone. Do not recommend.

Amazing Views

Most memorable were the steps it took to reach the top, but it was absolutely worth it. Breathtaking views of Paris and surrounding areas. A must do for any trip. I totally recommend the site. May 2024

Con operators

This is a con, the tickets are sourced through another tour broker site in a made up email. Just go directly to the official site & book directly for less and pick your time. I did & binned the tickets from this operator as I was not confident they would be valid,

Wonderful customer service

Great customer service! When I mentioned to our friend that I was concerned about my husband walking up all of the steps, the attendant offered to let us ride up in the elevator. Didn’t even know that was an option and it was a welcomed solution!

No tickets. No fun

Never received any tickets. Sent two emails. No response. Out $48 and did not go in the arch. THANKS VIIATOR

Fantastic experience

We loved this experience and having tickets already saved a ton of time. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Viator are ripping people off!

Like many other reviews on here I received tickets but they were invaild after we queued in the hot sun for 1.5 hours. I tried to contact the tour operator directly but the email address was not recognised. I then tried to call them but it just went startight to voice mail. Contacted Viator who sent more tickets that were also invaild after we had queued again. Now they flatly refuse to issue a refund. Absolutely discusting service. By the way, it's actually a lot cheaper to buy the tickets on arrival. There are queues but they move quickly.

Steps was a killer but worth every !! You can see so far. I would totally recommend for anyone. Fantastic views. Our group did make it to the summit.

Amazing experience

The view is worth climbing to the top. Great weather and we got to see every angle of the city. I recommend it!

Beautiful view of Arc de Triomphe

We got a lift to the rooftop, but there were a few steps to make to get to the top which was difficult for me since I have a knee replacement. Had to walk a few steps but made it. A little hard for me since I’m 70 years old. Very nice view from the rooftop. Must see!! did some shopping in gift shop.

Arc Tour gives views like no other!

Excellent tour. The steep climb on the stairs was definitely worth the views of the beautiful city! The history lesson was impressive. Just do it!

Disappointed

The Arc was closed for some reason. No explanation was given. We were definitely disappointed, and hope that we will receive a refund on our tickets.

The climb up which...

The climb up which included a couple of stop offs to rest was taken at our own pace. The view from the rooftop was outstanding.

Wonderful views

These tickets provided easy access to the top (only stairs access but it wasn't very tiring), allowing us to skip ~20 min of wait time. It has a great 360 degree view of the area and of the Eifel Tower.

Beautiful view of the city, the steps leading to the top were a lit' bit challenging but it was worth it.

It was closed all day

Couldnt get near it so Didnt get to go in as it was closed all day due to Armistice day. Emailed to request a refund. Waiting to hear back.

Lots of stairs but worth it for the views from the top with descriptions of the city landmarks. Easy to find and go through security with the skip the line option

Wow

What a view. Amazing. We did not get to this event until our last day in Paris. It was raining and a bit windy so not the best conditions but still an amazing view!!!

Seamless experience, although you still have line up for 20mins-30mins it was well worth the wait!!!

Fantastic views from the top, however you need to be reasonably fit to climb the spiral staircase of 250 steps! Would definitely recommend

Due to a strike the monument was shut. Very disappointed . Had been looking forward to the views from the top.

Make sure you get tickets in advance (cheaper and quicker). Have a bottle of water for a few steps going up😅. The view speaks for itself.

Terrible ticket ecoerience

Never got my actual tickets so was not able to ascend the Arc. Very disappointing. Will never use Viator again. If the voucher needs to be exchanged for tickets, then this needs to be better explained at time of purchase.

Well worth the climb up to the top for a wonderful view of the city.

Quite a strenuous climb up to the top but once there, it's certainly worth the effort for the views. Try to book a clear day as the City can be hazy.

Fantastic views of Paris

Pre booked tickets with get your guide which was easy. Skipped the long line to the much shorter pre booked. I have a knee brace and was offered the lift without asking. This was only a short wait. View from the top was fantastic Would definitely recommend

not a good experience

did not send the tickets we had to phone form the site to get those bar codes and still we did not get them .I asked for refund they said it's not refunded. I'm not sure why they charged me already and send me only booking reference!!! not the tickets??? they said will send you in separate email !!! but did nit received. YES I checked my spam/ junk mail

Super Happy with my Decision

When struggling with whether to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triumph I went with the latter because the lines were shorter. I cannot comment about the Eiffel Tower but my Arc experience was outstanding! It took about 45 minutes to start the ascent to the top but I thought the line moved reasonably well. The climb to the top was not as challenging as one would think. The views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower were sensational. I was up there on a cool, windy, overcast day which made the experience all the more enjoyable given the previous hot, humid weather Paris had sustained. I really enjoyed it.

Bypass the line!

Wow! The ticket line at the Arc de Triomphe was long. These tickets bypassed that entire line, we walked right up to the security checkpoint and entered. A few steps up(200 or so)and we were at the top! Great views of the city!

Not able to use. Voucher but no ticket

Horrible! I did not get a ticket (only a voucher) and could not get a response from the vendor. I was not able to go to the rooftop and want my money back

It was some issues with receiving a tickets but in very short time everything was sorted

It was a nice time spent in France-Paris. Very nice and tidy city. I have visited almost all the places which ones I had on my trip plan for a short time. Just 2 days. I love it.

The skip line was so long and waiting time is too much. I have asked them to use elevator instead of stairs but after argument they accepted

Worth the climb to the top!

We were tight on time and Viator came through with Arc tickets for us (sold out online at the site). We were able to skip the line of people waiting to buy tickets and go straight through security. Worth the climb to the top, and you’re able to stop and rest about 3/4 of the way up at the restrooms/ gift shop if needed. We were able to go to the top of the Arc, then up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Thanks!!

Viator sucks

The tickets were absolutely impossible to get. I think Viator is having problems because they never sent me my ticket for Eiffel Tower. Then claimed they had and wouldn’t refund. Viator sucks now. Too bad too as they used to be a great site for tickets and access. After 30 minutes and 25 emails they finally sent tickets directly to email (which they had had all along). Get tickets elsewhere. Viator sucks.

Skipping the line worked!

There were some problems in the delivery of the tickets. I was unable to open the tickets from the automated email on my Android (latest Samsung S23). I had to request that the tickets be resent. This second mail worked. The skip the line part worked great. We went on a very busy Friday and walked right past the line and to security, which did not have a line. From there we were admitted directly to the Arc de Triomphe where we began our climb. We were traveling with some family members just shy of 80 years of age, and they were able to ride the elevator to the top.

Buy tickets at the Arc

Nothing special. Honestly….No need to buy our tickets ahead of time through this site. Could have just as easily purchased at face value at the ticket counter on site. No need to pay the mark-up. But the Arc is definitely an impressive site! Take the time to see it.

Terrible… Never again with Viator

This was a waste of time and money. Walked over two miles and kept being told different directions or they didn’t know where the address was. People told us to a plan it ourselves next time Worst experience I have gone through. What a racket/scam. Spent money on something that was impossible to obtain. A scam all the way. Very very unhappy with Viator

Beautiful sunset

It was great only having to pick a day we wanted to go. Sometimes other activities complicate your schedule. We were able to show up any rime that day which made it stress free.

Well worth the extra costs so you can spend time at other sights

Booking skip the queue tickets when travelling with teenagers was a great idea. No waiting in a long queue and more time to see other sights. The first time we gave up due to the length of the queue but when we went back with our pre-booked tickets, we went straight through, apart from a brief security check. If you can afford the extra $6 per person (our family of four paid $112 instead of $88) it's well worth it!

Please refund

You booking failed!!! The tickets did not arrive in my email box as promised. We spent an hour trying to use the Viator voucher at ticket office at the arch!! We searched through my email boxes, plus junk box, NOTHING!! We even requested new tickets, all that was emailed was the same vouchers, two to three times. We ended up buying new tickets to access the Arch. Please make the relevant refunds. Thank you… 🤨

No tickets lost our money

Champs Elisee view

It’s a must go , but it’s one and done! I would go twice , it’s a nice views of the city and at night you can see the Eiffel Tower .

Awesome views

Fabulous time visiting this famous attraction. Many steps up and down for the heart pounding with the reward of amazing 360” degree views. Thoroughly recommended.

Don’t buy with this organiser

Don’t use this ticket, the organiser fails to let you know if the arc is open or closed and they charge you for it anyway falsely mentioning that the arc is open to go and see.

Definitely worth the money

Didn’t have to wait in line to buy tickets meaning the only queue we had to wait in was the baggage check which went quite quickly. The views are amazing and I definitely recommend

Super frustrating, ending in no event

Your website crash, we cannot upload our tickets, in addition, there was a World Cup win, and they close the streets down and had trouble people getting people on the arc. We wasted our money

You failed to send the third email with the ticket until we sent two complaining emails and we were turned away at 11am .Only managed to get your correct email for the tickets by 3pm. Very poor
