Arc and river cruise

Everything went smoothly and as planned. The arc itself was interesting and the information you read on the way in and up the various levels was informative. The guide was fine. The seine River Cruise was pretty bare bones, but it was nice to sit and put our feet up so it was actually a good hour of relaxation after walking all day.

Arc was great. Cruise wouldn’t recommend.

Arc de Triomphe was great. Stairs are quite a climb. View is Amazing. The river cruise however was not so great. You really can’t see any sites from inside the boat. They wouldn’t let us sit up top because the river is too high and it was not safe to go under the bridges. From the inside cabin you really are just looking at the walks along the river. Don’t recommend unless you can sit up top.

Excellent few days spent in Paris. Seeing all the sights and eating lovely food

Both experiences were good. Be prepared for a long climb up the Arc de Triomphe. We went on a very cold night so wrap up warm.

Great Experience and View

Arc de Triomphe was amazing. Greatly exceeded our expectations. Be prepared to climb nearly 300 steps to the top but it was well worth the view. Get your tickets ahead of time or you’ll be waiting in a VERY long line. Our tickets off the app didn’t work so we had to call and get them sent directly to our phone but they handled it great and very promptly.

Arc de Triomphe , so beautiful place to visit. And cruise was great got to see different parts of Paris :)

Disappointing

Disappointed that the Seine River Cruise audio was malfunctioning. No cues as to what site we were viewing in order to select desired Audio very brief.

Go on your own.

Went to Arc the next day as it was closed. We navigated it ourselves and enjoyed the view. The river cruise was also self guided with a headset, kinda generic. Do it on your own versus paying for guides.

Do not use Viator for your tickets.

Although the Arc de Triomphe visit was very good with perfect weather and low crowds, the Seine River Cruise did not happen. Although we bought the combo ticket, when we arrived at the boat dock at 8:30 p.m., the company was closed for the night. They were supposed to be open till 10 p.m. An adjoining company man said his boats were round trip, but we did not purchase from him, preferring to be on the one way which we had purchased through Viator. We do not recommend using this company for your tickets to tourist events/venues. The guide at the Eiffel Tower showed up late, others on the 6 pm. tour showed up late. There were numerous delays in getting the tickets because the guide kept telling jokes and decided to insert a bathroom break. He then told us the elevators were broken to Level 1 and Level 2 and there was a 2 hour line or we could walk up. Being physically fit, we chose to walk up. The guide continued to joke around and several people left. We urged him to hurry up as we were missing sunset, which was the whole point of going at 6 p.m.

Paris

It's value for money, especially the cruise is great. The view from the rooftop of Arc De Triomphe is spectacular.

Horrible

Absolute horrible service! Both the Arc and Seine tickets I was given - when I took it to Arc & Seine I was told wasn’t the actual ticket, that I had to call back to Viator and get sent the actual ticket, but I printed out AND downloaded everything I was sent. Both scans I was told were not going through so I had to buy another ticket through them at that location.

A great way to see the Arc

My husband is a cyclist and watches the Tour de France every year. It was his dream to visit the Arc and this activity made it very easy! The staff were great to help me with taking the elevator while he took the stairs. The views were amazing and the historical information was very interesting. The tomb of the unknown soldier was a poignant reminder of what so many have given in service to their countries. We enjoyed the boat ride on the Seine - it gave us a chance to see things we wouldn't have otherwise had time to enjoy.

Great walk up the Arc de Triomphe with views for miles. Great way to orient yourself for major attractions.

Worth visiting to capture Paris’s 12 biukevards star. Shame I had no time to cruise la Saine but the price for both was defo worth it.

It took some time to get our vouchers for the Arc De Triomphe but with help from your service we received them. The Seine River cruise was ok but I guess we were really spoiled by the dinner cruise the night before. Long line for the river cruise

Crowded but beautiful

This location was super crowded! It was still really beautiful but you had to fight to get to be able to see.

Make sure you get tickets not Viator app ones

Enjoyed this pairing of the arc de triumph as well as the Seine river boat cruise. Do not try and use the Viator tickets that are in the app. Make sure you get an email with actual tickets in them. We went to the Arc and our Viator tickets did not work. I did email and got back to me in a decent time and sent our tickets to the email address I provided. They did work then

you have to go to the top of the building, make sure your ticket includes the top. be ready to climb a good number of steps.

Breathtaking

The view from the platform on the Arc de Triomphe and the beauty we saw along the Seine! The history of Paris is amazing.

The Arc de Triomphe was amazing on the ground. Climbing the stairs was a feat but we finally got there and it was more than worth the effort. Cruise on the river Seine was relaxing and great to see the sights from the water.

Great Experience

We really enjoyed the history and the views. We went after dark and seeing the Eiffel Tower light up at 22:00 was also amazing.

“Triomphe”nt & “Seine”ic!!

Arc de Triomphe was a self guided tour. Entry into the monument was efficient and quick. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps - winding staircase but worth seeing the most amazing view from the city center. Seine River cruise started by Eiffel Tower and lasts about an hour. You pass under many beautiful bridges, see the activity on the riverside banks, see the Notre Dame Cathedral (Uber construction of course). It concludes at the Eiffel at the time it lights up. Bring a jacket or wrap as it gets chilly. Snacks and beverages are also nice to bring along! Bon Jour!

Seine River cruise disappointment

The river cruise was beautiful but the audio was confusing. we scanned the QR code but did not know when to select the options as no one told us. it was a guessing game. we were told there was audio on board but did not see anyone who got it to work. Therefore we really did not get any information that we were looking for.

Arc and Seine definitely 5 stars

The view from the top of the Arc is amazing. If you have bad knees, etc there is an elevator. The Seine tour was a welcome boat ride that was very informative. We went during the day as we wanted to experience the architecture but I’ve heard the evening one with the lights is special, too.

Impressive

We arrived too late to ascend the arc de triumphe. We were able to go by it later and it is impressive. The river cruise was nice. Just too many people on the boat. Yes, sure number was within regulations but still packed.

Did the arc first and relaxed on the cruise afterwards. Note: 284 steps to the top. Cruise was what you'd expect. Lots of folks on the boat. The young lady commentating was impressive, speaking French, English and Spanish with ease. One hour

Arcs great

Arch has Amazing views , quick lines. I wish there was transportation to the Seine river. We didn't go . With construction and corrupt taxis we chose not to go

Waiting lines were crazy

Waiting lines were crazy didn’t enter the arc the triomf or the boat at all. At least 2 hours waiting lines, even if you have a ticket? The rest of the bookings was fine.

Visiting the Arc

Breath taking views! Could see all over Paris. Beautiful weather so nothing was obstructed!! Would visit again.

200 steps up and 200 steps down

First time going up to the top at the Arc de Triomphe...200 steps up and 200 steps down for 13 euros. A short wait of only 10 minutes to buy our tickets and a short 5 mins wait to ascend to the top. Many people go at a good clip ascending but a quarter way up and 3/4 way up, there is a little alcove that can fit 3 people to take a little break. I took a little break of 3 minutes at about 180 steps. There are also washrooms once you are up and the little gift shop had some nice things made in France. A cute little child's long sleeve shirt is 35 euros but made in France. there was an elevator but only for physically disabled and wheelchairs. imho, if anyone has a heart issue or have bad knees, i would think twice walking up the 200 steps. went on a beautifully sunny day and the view was gorgeous....one can see all the way to La Defense, Sacre Coeur, le Tour de Montparnasse, Les Invalides, and of course Champs Elysees. After our visit, we walked over to the 17th arrondissement and toured the Marche Poncelet area which had great little food shops and non food shops. It was a great area to walk and very clean.

No Skip The Line

Tour represents: “With these special combo tickets, you’ll enjoy skip-the-line admission tickets to the Arc plus a scenic boat cruise along the Seine” and “Bypass the wait at the entrance with special on-the-spot entry to the panoramic arch” Well, we went to the Arc and there was no “skip the line”, I asked several staff members, and they directed us to the very long line that everyone got on and they estimated the wait to be over one hour. So we got into a taxi and headed for Pier 3 for the cruise. We got to the pier at 4:30. I went to the front of the line and showed my tickets. They directed us to a very very long line and they estimated that we might get on the 6pm boat, 1 1/2 hour line, minimum. Pier 3 was the most crowded pier we saw along the Seine. We left

Great Experiences

The climb up the Arc de Triomphe was well worth it. Paris looks amazing from the top. The river cruise showed us so many sites, a gentle and relaxing way to explore along the Seine.

It was great. If you have mobility isuues ask for the elevator. The view is nice. I recommend doing it in the morning

Their first response “ As for the ticket scanning and entry lines, everyone is subject to and everyone has to wait in these lines and depending on the high season the lines may be long.” But there was only one line for everyone, told me “ If they did not accept your 'tickets' at the attraction, it might be due to the fact that you were trying to use the wrong tickets to enter the attraction.” They asked for our tickets then said “ Upon checking, the tickets seem to be correct and there's no reason for the attraction staff to deny entry for the tickets.” Viator told me tickets were good for one month both but we were headed to London so I asked for a credit and they declined. There are many options for tickets and we found tickets direct through Paris Tourism Office worked best, half the price and no skip the line problems.

Memorable

Our QR codes did not scan however when we called the customer service they were quick to find a solution. Our experience made it memorable instead miserable. Go to Arc de Triomphe first and then Siene River, book the time close to sunset to enjoy the the Eiffel Tower when lit.

Good views of Paris

We did the Seine boat ride. Just put up with the long lines, it’s worth it. The lines move fast and you’re on. Great views of Paris.

Great value! Had a wonderful time and process was easy. Just read everything to make sure you know what to do.

Description said you...

Description said you would get your tickets for river cruise 24 hours before your travel date but that’s not correct. You can only get them 24 hrs before the date on your tickets for Arc. Was also confused because viator ticket barcode was not for arc. Waited in line and then got escorted out because tickets weren’t valid. Tried contacting provider for refund but they didn’t respond. Money wasted plus money spent on Uber to get there.

Hell is a 14 story spiral staircase!

The monument did not open till 11:00 am that day. There was no tour group to be found. Just students with teacher. I could not make it to the Seine cruise the same day. I prefer a refund for the whole ordeal. No elevator to the top. Very hard for a 69 year old to ascend all those stairs!

Arc de triumphe good but beware cruise

Arc de triumphe view gorgeous but 300 steps up so be prepared. Not so good the Seine cruise couldn't hear one word of the tour guide so totally oblivious to whst was going on.

Nice way to see Paris from a different view

We went on a weekend and it wasn’t that bad (no need to skip the line). Amazing view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. The Seine River cruise was a great and relaxing addition which made this tour probably the most bang for your Euro…

River Cruise

Great overview of Paris. Well worth the time. Tour is very organized and the guide speaks multiple languages.

MUST DO ATTRACTIONS!!

Both experiences are a MUST! Get really different views of the city. Nice that you can go at any time.

Good experience

The views from the top were a great reward after taking all the steps up the Arc De Triomphe. The cruise was very relaxing and informative, most enjoyable.

Our boat trip in Paris

We booked the river cruise and tne Arc de Triumph as one booking When we arrived on board and presented our hard copy to read the machine would not allow us through A Senior officer tried again with the hard copy and a negative result appeared again The officer scrutinised tne hard copy and appeared to suggest that he expected there should be two Qr codes one for the cruise and another for the Arc de Triumph He then asked to see the email on my phone that contained the original booking offer and authorisation as well as the payment receipt After much searching on my phone he unlocked a gate to allow us through. This was the only hitch on our Paris trip

Simple and economical

Enjoyed the Arc visit which gives the breath-taking view and the boat ride was relaxing, it was priced right.

Arc was good - cruise not so much

We thought the river cruise would have some kind of narration to highlight all of the monuments but this did not happen.

L’Ard de Triomphe and Seine cruise package- worth the price

The number of steps up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe were daunting! But the view was worth it. The directions provided to get to the boat were excellent. Having the skip the line tickets was great. Great way to spend a Sunday in Paris.
