We had a wonderful tour...

We had a wonderful tour guide Andrew who made our excursion wonderful. He gave us so much information and even brought us olive oil from his personal farm. A must if you are in Olympia!

Wouldn't have changed one thing.....Loved this tour!!

Fantastic tour with Andrew. Our group of 14 did Olympia first, then a wine tasting and olive tour with lunch and we stopped for a one hour beach break to enjoy drinks and the beautiful views. We had a tight itinerary but had lots of time to enjoy this fabulous tour.

Great tour of Olympia

Nancy did a great job with our tour. We got to Olympia early before the crowds arrived. Fascinating place. Enjoyed the visit to the oil press business and the the Kilos honey farm. Topped it off with some shopping in Olympia and the a great local restaurant in KatKolon. Really enjoyed our time and getting to know Nancy. She was very knowledgeable and fun to be with.

Awesome day

Andrew is great, the beach time was nice, we loved the winery. Note- the winery is an olive oil plantation - expect to taste olive oils while dinking wine. But it was so much fun with a traditional song and dance and sampling greek foods Also the guide does not go with you to the ruins and it was hot, hard to navigate even with the book. I would have liked to hire someone there to give an hour tour. Overall it was a great day. They are very responsive when communicating and arranging the details.

A fun day in Olympia while beating the crowds to the historic site

Kathryn was our guide for the day. Having the private van/guide allowed us to get to the ancient Olympia site before the busses and large crowds. And we enjoyed stopping at Klios honey farm for the tour as it was a very unique and authentic spot that is family owned. It was cool meeting 2 generations that work the farm today. And our last stop was a winery tasting and tour which was also fantastic. Overall a great day. My only suggestion for the tour operator is to update the pricing for the winery in the description as it was 20 euros per person versus 8 in the description.

We were happy with our driver! He felt terrible for us that no one would guide us at Olympia and that he was unable to give us the info on the area as he was only a driver. We did not receive the book we were supposed to receive!!! We asked for credit and you said no! Never again will we use you !!

Great Full Day Olympia Tour

We had a party of 8 avoiding the long cruise ship cattle drives and were treated to a wonderful day around Olympia with Genie and her driver. We set our own itinerary and traveled like royalty in a new Mercedes van. First to the Olympia archaeologic site then the museum. After that we went to a beautiful winery and had a delightful traditional Greek lunch. We then visited a honey farm and had an informative lecture and tasty treats. Entirely a great day with informative guide, and beautiful countryside. Don't miss this tour!

great trip to Olympia

We had a wonderful day exploring Olympia! Nikos was very informative and provided a full day for us. Starting with a tour of the Olympic ruins, a trip to a bee farm, and a beautiful monastery. Highly recommended!

Didn't want day to end

We were pick-up at the port by this Daughter/father pair that made our day a complete delight, since it was a private tour. There were four of us and we had decided not to go to Olympia since all of us have been there already. They did a new schedule for the day that was excellent we went to the Olive Farm first were we had a private tour since none of the big buses has arrive yet and an excellent sampler dish with local ham cheese olives and a great wine from their distillery. Then we went to a gorgeous beach a small village were we had lunch, the monastery and Kilos Bee Farm, which was an excellent place and the most niceness ladies that you have ever seen. Besides spending a gorgeous day with this excellent individuals we learn so history and saw so much of the interior of Katakolon, that we didn't want our day to end. If we go back we will use the same agency without even look at another.

Perfect Day on Olympia

We were a bit late getting off the ship, but Andrew and driver were waiting patiently for us. They got us to all the stops before the cruise buses arrived at each stop, so we had a very personalized experience! Andrew worked with us to quickly come up with a great plan for the day. We visited 2 farms and a tasting shop in addition to ancient Olympic site and museum. Book this tour, you won’t regret it. highly recommended

Perfect One Day Tour

This was a perfect way to spend the day! Our guide got us to Olympia before all the other tour groups which was great. By the time it got really crowded we were ready to leave for the next stop. Our day included a stop at Klio's Honey Farm, a winery, a wonderful authentic restaurant, and a scenic stop for a coffee or drink on the way back to town. We still had about an hour to wander the town before getting back on our cruise ship. 100% recommend.

What a great trip

We were pickles up in front of the cruise ship, by a nice gentleman who took us in a great car with wifi to Olympia and the archeological museum. On the way he told us all kinds of interesting things about the aera. Cool water bottles were provided. After Olympia we visited a cute honey farm, with the sweetest ladies who explained everything about honey making and bees. Later we visted a beautiful monestary and a nice beach resort where we had a break to enjoy the beach and a swim etc. before taken back to our cruise ship. All in all the ride was very pleasant and informative! A trip worth booking! Realiable, kind, clean, good value for your money!

Paradise Found

Olympia was our last port of call of our 10-night cruise and proved to be our favorite, in no small part to our guide Phitos (Fitos). He was highly professional and friendly. He first drove us to the archaeological site, getting us there before the hordes of tourists arrived via tour buses. Along the way he provided information about the small towns and life in Olympia. The archaeological site is fascinating and several areas are in relatively good shape considering their age of almost 2800 years. Of course with most famous tourist attractions, the site quickly filled up and we had had enough with tourists who never heard of the phrase "personal space". So after about 90 minutes we found Fitos and he drove us to the much quieter and relaxed Klio's Honey Farm (see separate review). We had mentioned to Fitos that we would like to visit a winery. But knowing our aversion to crowded tourist traps, he politely suggested that we may be more satisfied having our wine with lunch by the sea at St. Andreas Beach. What a wonderful suggestion it was! It was the most relaxed and enjoyable time of our entire cruise, and the lunch provided by the beachside restaurant was very ample and tasty (try the Village Sausage). Olympia is a beautiful place and we are already planning a return visit. We especially enjoyed our time with Fitos and felt that we were parting as friends by the end of the 6-hour tour. Request him if you can and you will be very satisfied. We had private tours at every port of call and he was our favorite. Thank you Fitos!

taxi pour la journée de 11h15 à 15h, pour Olympie et la plage Le taxi nous attendait au pied du bateau, même si nous l'avons raté car en retard... Le chauffeur Christophe était vraiment au top! Très convivial, très sympa. Il nous a assisté jusqu'à la prise des billet à Olympie, on a pu y rester le temps que l'on a voulu. Il nous a prêté un guide en français. Seul bémol, la plage... elle était à 5mns à pied du bateau, pas vraiment extra. Transat et parasol payant 20€ même pour 1h! J'ai donc payé 110€ pour un A/R Olympie pour 4 personnes puisque nous sommes rentrés à pied jusqu'au bateau.
