Ocho Rios Hotels Private Transfer

Okay taxi for an exceptionally high price!

Taxi’s in Jamaica are exceptionally overpriced. As comparison, taxi’s in Miami, London, NYC and Amsterdam are way cheaper. And for mostly poorly contained roads. For a 3 hour trip on bumpy roads you pay almost 300 US$. And this cannot be found much cheaper on the internet or using regular travel agencies (yes more expensive more easily). Overall this means that I would not advice to go traveling within Jamaica. I feel that traveling within a country should represent hospitality.

Amazing!

As soon as we walked out of the airport, our guide was there to take us to our driver. Our driver was amazing he pointed out places on the way and explained them. He noticed some people were sleeping and lowered the music which was very polite. He explained each town we were in and how long we had to the resort.

Upset

We had a flight leaving out of JFK on 75 we received a text message From the airline stating that our flight was canceled, I reached out to the number that was provided to let you guys know that we were not coming on the trip again today now July 8 I have not heard from the company nor have I received a full refund.

Excellent direct private shuttle service from Ocho Rios resort to MBJ

Our driver Eric was right on time and very helpful. His driving skills were excellent and he got us to the MBJ airport ontime and safely!! Great job and service! No stress!! Also, the van was clean and comfortable!!

Private transfer with Glen

Our driver was Glen, for both the arrival and departure and he was fantastic. Always on time and a careful driver. We felt safe and had a blast learning about Jamaica on the way. He offered stops for food and photo opportunities.

When we landed driver Damion was waiting for us. He loaded our bags all 7 of us ( adults and kids ) and took us to Ocho Rios. He was wonderful. He told us all about the island and the culture as well as history of Jamaica. Talking to him made the drive go very fast. We had Eric for our drive back to the airport. Eric was as accommodating and kind as Damion. This was our third time using Island Transfer. You will not be disappointed. They will take very good care of you.

So worth it....we decided to book private transfer instead of taking Sandals shuttle. We were glad we did.

Ocho Rios transportation

Hodinga was our driver and did a wonderful job helping us out and the rest of our family. He gave us suggestions for things to do and made us very comfortable.

Good, reliable transportation from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios.

We used a round trip booking to get us from MBJ airport to Sandal Ochi. The drivers both was very extremely courteous, provided information on sites and got us to our locations as fast as possible.

I booked roundtrip transportation to Ocho Rios for a girls trip and Island Transfers & Tours exceeded our transportation. Every-ting Good Mon!

Never catch a bus or shuttle when this private transfer is an option. Very easy process, Very friendly people. The driver was knowledgeable and accommodating— he showed and talked to us about local things we wouldn’t have known otherwise. We got in an air conditioned van with a group of 4 and it was very clean. Omar (driver) was nice enough to load and unload the bags for us. 10/10 recommend

Polite, professional and on time

The Team at Island Transfer & Tours is wonderful. We booked roundtrip from Montego Bay airport to our hotel in Ochos Rios and the experience was wonderful both time. Their drivers are professional, pleasant and very safety conscious. It took longer than expected for us to get through customs and we finally cleared in the middle of terrible thunderstorms. Our driver was waited Patiently for us and was honest upfront that the weather would delay us. He still got us to Ochos Rios within 30 minutes of our original trip time. On the return trip the driver was 15 minutes early and already waiting for us before we checked out. We will definitely use them again when we are back in Jamaica.

Amazing service

I am very happy with Viator. My Flight was suppose to arrive at 12:20 Pm and gets delay an hour, but they were there waiting for us to get out of the airport. Also, for the way back to the airport I told them a time and they were very punctual. Drivers were very respectful and friendly as well. Cannot be more happiest with the service, if I could give 10 stars I would do it. Thank you so much for the service.

Great transfer service

We used Island Transfer for the airport transfer to our resort in Ocho Rios. The van was comfortable and the driver was very good. Got us to the resort quickly and the company was easy to work with.

Best way to get to Ocho Rios

We used the private transfer there and back. Damian stopped with us to get fresh coconut water and sugar cane on the way there. He was great! Michael drove us back to the airport and was a great tour guide - telling us all types of historical facts about the island. Would highly recommend if you can swing it.

Thumbs up for Island Transfer and Tours

We booked with Island Transfers and Tours for a private transfer from CSS to MBJ and, once again, we were very happy. Scott, our driver was early and I’ve never seen a driver so faithful at keeping both hands on the wheel at 10 and 2. lol We never felt unsafe and his car, while older, was vey well maintained both inside and out. We’ve used this service several times over years and have always had a great experience.

It was a great way to get to the resort. We stopped for some fresh sugar cane and fresh coconut juice. Would highly recommend.

Book it!

traveling with young kids can be very challenging but this tour transfer made it a lot less stressful. Both of my drivers were on time and very personable they help with the luggage and also provided information about the island as we were driving. On our way to the airport , my daughter got a bit carsick and the driver pulled over right away and was very helpful. I can’t say enough positive things about this company. If you need a transfer book them, you will not be disappointed. I accidentally forgot my phone in the van both customer service and the driver did what they could to make sure I got it back. The customer service is top notch, and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who travels to this destination. Thank you all so much!

Transfer from MBJ to Ochie

Ann is a great driver and narrator. However, she played music way too loud and tried to speak over it. Just keep at a pleasant level and enjoy the scenery and conversation

After a short wait we were escorted to our private vehicle. We had a lovely 2 hour ride with our driver

Would not advise UK tourists to come here and as it is at the moment would not return ourselves.

Hotel in St Anne parish, hotel, rooms and staff excellent. Downside, good selection of food but always luke warm or aired, only food that was hot was soup, breakfast sausage and bacon, awful. Drinks, one and only beer, Redstripe, no alternative or even cider, went flat straightaway as not served in correct glasses. No tea making facilities in room, coffee only, had to cadge tea bags and milk all week and use coffee maker as a kettle. Everything seems to be tailored to American tourism, very little consideration for UK tourists. Overall hotel and staff 10 out of 10, food and drink 4 out of 10. Would not return here as it is at the moment.

Great transfer full of history

Great trip from the air port to Ocho Rios. Our driver was super kind and told us so much history of the island, the various areas, agriculture, and other things unique to Jamaica. We had a great half way stop for a bathroom break and cold beverage at the cutest little outdoor bar. The 2 hour ride was comfortable and very enjoyable.
