Being able to watch a lot of costumes sets and information from the serie live. Great interactive things mostly for children.

Great visit

The beginning, when the door opens up to a room filled with smoke like you’re in a forest. The displays were very good

Good Experience! But.....

The experience was next level and the technology was unreal, however, I strongly recommend that you watch the series before attending the set. This is because you understand the set more and will know what they are talking about.

Family fun

It was a wonderful experience from the shuttle at the parking lot to the location. The staff were friendly, engaging and really knew their stuff about the sets and crew. Everyone was kind. It was a very well done studio and we loved the self-paced tour. Even my 2 year old loved seeing all the dragons.

Awesome!

A must-see for GOT fans and/or people who enjoy seeing what goes into the filmmaking process. Really well-done, fun, interesting, and the staff is super friendly.

Birthday treat.

I wish I could rate it higher. I went with my dad for his birthday, before our visit I spoke to them about parking (as my dad has a blue badge) I explained that it was also his birthday. They asked for his name and age so that it could be displayed on the screen before the tour. I had also booked the themed afternoon tea as a surprise. When we arrived my dad was given a birthday card, his name was being displayed on the rolling screen just before the tour and as we walked through the tour every member of staff we met wished him happy birthday. When we went into the cafe inside the tour for our afternoon tea, the staff in there wished him a happy birthday, he even got sung to as a plate with a piece of cake was given to him and on the plate it had "Happy Birthday 85" Even when we entered the shop the staff wished him happy birthday. The tour itself is absolutely brilliant, it was my second visit having visited last year with my wife Carole. I learnt a few new things about the show too. I cannot thank the staff enough for the absolutely brilliant day they gave my dad.

Amazing day trip

Amazing, totally awesome trip with friends to the studio tour. The staff were brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us. Tip of your flying from Manchester to Belfast international is hire a car for the day to get to tour ticket office. Brilliant day though, it showcases how amazing the show really is. It’s a must see.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end

We boarded the shuttle bus to start the studio tour at The Boulevard base, for the short ride to the studios. The self guided tour was outstanding, the staff were lovely, being knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. The sets & costumes were fantastic, the attention to detail was amazing and it’s great to know that some of the series was actually filmed here. We had the afternoon tea & while it was quite expensive, it was great quality. We didn’t manage to eat everything so were given take away boxes, so nothing was wasted, the restaurant staff were excellent, and the venue lovely. The tour has been the highlight of our stay in the area & I would very much recommend the tour & the tea. It helps if you’ve seen GOT, but if you’re interested in special effects, costumes and film making then this tour is a must do.

Great tour

Fantastic studio tour if your a game of thrones fan it's a must see. I have one or 2 suggestions for the management though, staff should wear GOT costumes, Photographs should be half the price, and get some t shirts and other clothing that dosent say game of thrones studio tours on, you can have GOT themed stuff without advertising the studio tours, if you know you know lol and you would sell a lot more

Simply a must for GOT fans

This tour is simple a must for Game of Thrones fans. If you are a big GOT fan, such as myself, you almost can’t believe that you stepping foot into the red keep, castle black, winterfell and the rest of Westeros. The sets, costumes and layout of the tour is simply amazing, and the tour was a lot more interactive than I was expecting. I would highly recommend the tour for GOT fans but I also think casual fans and film lovers would enjoy it too. The tour took us just over 2.5 hours but it flew by. The staff were very friendly and the shop at the end had some great stuff, I even got some photos and t-shirt which were both of very good quality. The only disappointing aspect of the tour was that some of the information about each set was quite generic or information that you can easily find online, seasoned GOT fans would learn nothing new here. I got the bus from Dublin and, while the driver was slightly late arriving, the trip was very smooth and responsibly priced. I would highly recommend this tour.

Definitely a must see!

This is definitely an amazing experience for fans of the show, or even people who are interested in film production in behind the scenes details. It was impressive to see actual sets, props, costumes, and all of the thinking that went into the creation of the series. There are interactive elements, along with lots of museum quality displays that explain how the series was made. The food options on site are also amazing, we did the Game of Thrones tea, and we’re delighted by how delicious all of the sandwiches, pastries, and suites were You can easily spend an entire day here, so get there early to take advantage of all you can do.

Fabulous experience

Myself & my Husband had a great experience at GOT studio tour . We’re huge fans , we went mid week and it was quiet and we were able to ask lots of questions to the staff who were lovely & friendly. I’m so glad we went . The only thing I would pass on is the set lunch , I have to say what we got we left we couldn’t eat it worse burger . But we didn’t go for the food so I would definitely go again . The gift shop is amazing we got pictures taken on the Iron throne . I would highly recommend GOT fans to go for the experience alone .

Absolutely wonderful experience. Even if you've never seen the show, this is a fabulous exhibition. Wonderful staff, brilliant costumes, even the food is marvellous. Just wow!

day out in bainbridge

Not a game of thrones fan, never watched any of it but the wife loves it. So went to keep her happy. Found it very interesting from a production point of veiw. Loved meeting so many people who were in the production. Found the gift shop and cafe to be reasonably priced. Good day out and browse points with the misses to boot

The Studio Tour was amazing. We are big fans of the show, so just to be here and witness the craftsmanship that went into this show was incredible. Also big shout out to Patrick for helping us get to the studio tour etc, he was a big help and was very imformative. To the tour guides Lesley for a brilliant intoduction to the tour and to the lady in the great hall (sorry forgot her name) telling us some amazing facts.

Amazing experience with outstanding staff

Amazing experience only exceeded by the fabulous staff. Enjoyed seeing such a vast array of props, scenery and information about filming of game of thrones. The staff were amazing. Full of knowledge and so helpful. A pleasure of a tour that I feel was just enhanced by such amazing staff that work there. Ps, sorry we were the last ones there but my daughter couldn’t stop walking around in her cosplay outfit thinking she was the real Daenerys!

Game of Thrones fans, an absolute must see

One of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Staff were fantastic setting us up with the app on our phones, you could hire head phones or use your own ear buds. Stunning, from the introductory spiel to the walk through the exhibits. Full of costumes, weird and wonderful characters from the movie. Video's showing how it was done. You even get to have your photo taken sitting on the Iron Throne with the cape over your shoulders. Great souvenir shop, very affordable. Lovely cafe for a before and maybe after cuppa and snack. All in all great value.

Game of Thrones tour

Absolutely loved it. Made me feel very nostalgic looking at the costumes listening to the music. The attention and detail of the clothes are amazing. Such brillent artists. Well worth a visit. You will want to watch the whole series again. Mylene Ford

An amazing experience, highly recommended.

We visited with my teenage children and had an amazing time. The exhibition is great, and some of the props are so realistic. Great interactive things to so and the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. A particular thank you to everyone who was kind to my daughter who was on crutches for the day. You made her feel safe, thank you.. highly recommended experience.

BEST GOT Experience

We were in NI visiting family in Dec 2022 It was an amazing experience, we have always been huge Game of Thrones fans, and to see the props, costumes, set pieces, etc and all the behind the scenes was an experience we will never forget, I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NI

Great studio tour

Really great tour. Surprise for my birthday and I’ve always wanted to go especially as it’s on my doorstep as I live close by. Definitely very impressed. Great collection of costumes, props and weapons. Wonderful seeing all the sets. Only thing missing is maybe more audience participation, maybe dressing up or real archery. All in all a super day and I hope the rumours are false and the attraction stays open for years and years.

GOT Tour ...

Was brilliant from start to finish. The staff were brilliant and the afternoon tea was fantastic !! I will look to visit again soon with my older children.

Amazing- Feb 2024

Absolutely amazing! 100% need to visit if you're a Game of Thrones fan. The detail and information is incredible and to see all the original costumes worn by the cast was fab. It's mind blowing how much goes into these productions. The studio tour is about 30 minutes out from belfast city though so please ensure you check your locations and transport ect. A taxi will cost around £50.

So much more than expected.

Even if you have never watched the series I would highly recommend a tour here. Everything is covered in a vast array that is splendidly displayed. From post production right through to being televised you get an step by step view of everything behind and in front of the cameras. The costumes and armoury alone are worth a visit. All originals and all stunning. You have to check this out because it wont dissapoint..

A Must for Game of Thrones Fans

What a fantastic experience! Visiting this amazing studios far exceeded expectations. A short shuttle bus ride, which is included in the tour ticket, brings you there and on entering you are transported magically to Castle Black, Winterfell, Kingslanding and more! Seeing the costumes, props, armoury, actual film sets, including the big hall of Winterfell confirms everything about how epic the making of this series was! So much to see, hear, read enjoy! Also had a delicious lunch and some lovely little momento purchases from the shop. There are great photo opportunities too! Highly recommend the whole wonderful thing!

A great afternoon.

As an Ulsterman and a fan of Game of Thrones, I was looking forward so much to this tour when I was back home in Nothern Ireland for Christmas & New Year, I went on a week day which meant I didn’t have the huge crowds and the tour did not disappoint, I was in my element,as I was on my own, I took my time, read and looked at EVERYTHING, took soooo many photographs it took me a week to choose which ones I’d keep and which I’d not. For me, the tour was worth every penny, I didn’t have any food but I did have a coffee and I visited the gift centre where I had photos taken of myself on the throne. These were expensive but, as a keepsake, they are priceless. Thank you Game of Thrones for making my visit as a disabled person so very memorable.

Brilliant

Brilliant day out here! We had travelled from Derry and couldn’t believe how easy it was to get to. We arrived at the car park and got the shuttle bus directly there. The bus arrived at the stated time and also didn’t take long at all to get to the studio. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. There was so much to see within the studio tour everything was amazing. After we completed the studio tour and saw everything we then went for afternoon tea in the cafe and the food and service was of highest standard, we thoroughly enjoyed it! The full experience was brilliant and we will definitely return again.

Discrimination for people with a carer and young children

We enjoyed the studios and looking around. It was very quiet which was great even though it was school holidays. I am registered disabled so phoned ahead to book the blue badge parking space. The lady asked for the car details etc and then asked for our booking number. I said I was to still book as we couldn’t book unless we knew blue badge parking was available. She said I could pay over the phone. Told her I had my two young children (under 12 as it states on the child’s ticket) and my carer. The lady then said she would have to speak to her manager as I could not have so many “free” tickets. I would only be allowed one per paying guest. I told her if I booked on the website I could choose my carer and then two young children tickets which she said the website wouldn’t allow that either?? After 5 mins she came back and said the manager would let us in if we paid for myself and one child at £5. I paid this but felt it was very discriminatory considering the prices on the website clearly state under 12 are free and then I have my access card for my concessionary carer. It just left a sour taste considering we would be spending in the cafe and gift shop. Just want to make everyone aware of this as I don’t feel it is very fair to those who are disabled and have to pay extra.

Excellent tour

This exhibition contains a lot of the sets for GoT. Namely Winterfell, Castle Black, some of Casterly Rock, and Dragonstone. The tour is self guided though there are many informative guides around. Our guide's name was Alex and he was full of great tidbits of information about the series. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very nice. I would say that the gift shop could do with a bit more items. Nothing special there, although the photos are nice.

Perfect! A must for any Game of Thrones Fans

I'm a Game of Thrones fan and enjoyed every bit of this. The tour is well put together & includes all aspects of making Game of Thrones. The detail that goes into the costumes, jewellery & props is incredible. The interactive parts are fun. I visited on a weekday in the off season - if you can, I'd recommend it. I didn't need to queue for any of the interactive parts and didn't feel rushed to move on in any of the areas either. Any staff I spoke to were really friendly. I had a nice chat with one of the staff who was also an extra in G.o.T & to a security guard (Peter & Kevin) and I could tell they liked working there & they were really enthusiastic about the place. I went all in when booking, pre-ordering the audio guide, meal & souvenir official guide and don't regret getting any. I would recommend the audio guide if, like me, you prefer a mix of listening & reading rather than just reading. There is plenty of written information in each area of the studios though, so if you don't mind just reading then you'll still be getting a wealth of good G.o.T information. If you know you'll be spending a full day there, a meal is well worth pre-ordering (think you save a few quid by pre-ordering); I didn't feel ripped off and the meal was really decent. The souvenir guide has some great Game of Thrones photos and info in - I enjoyed looking back through it after a fab day at the studios. You can have your photo taken on the Iron Throne at the end of the tour; it's optional to have it taken & optional to buy the photos. I hadn't planned on buying one as I know I usually look awkward posing in photos but the photographer worked his magic & I was so pleased with the photos he took, I bought them!

Enjoyable Tour

You park at the Boulevard and board the bus to the studio. Trip takes approx 10 mins. Went during off season so no lines for buses or to gain entry. We arrived 90 mins before our ticket time and it wasn't an issue. Not sure if the same would apply during peak season. There is a cafe at the beginning and in the middle of the tour. You can also hang your coats for free. We did avail of the audio guide it was a help but not a necessity. The tour took 2 hours and this was taking your time. Everything you see is authentic and there is plenty of outfits on display along with loads of memorabilia. It would have been good to have some interactive experience. For example At the wall, Dragons and the walkers. There is nothing like this at all and no moving parts to any of the tour. So a little disappointed.But still every GOT fan should pay a visit.

A must for every Game of Thrones fan!!

This is a must for every Game of Thrones fan! Museum-quality exhibits and vignettes of iconic scenes from the television series that feature the original costumes worn by the actors. Amazing insights into production design and special effects. And several interactive exhibits that keep the experience highly engaging - the hall of faces is particularly cool if not creepy. One gains a deep appreciation for the scale and scope of the making of a show like GoT. The tour exceeded expectations. One catch is getting to Banbridge from Belfast: we took a ride service (about 40 minutes from downtown) then needed to request a taxi back. A bit pricey but oh so worth it!

Day wasted

Was really looking forward to this and travelled from Scotland to go here, we had such a hard time getting there, kept phoning up to let them know where we were and they said yes that's fine we will have shuttle bus waiting, I am disabled and struggled so much to get there, eventually got there, maybe about 5 minutes late to be told no sorry you can't get in and no refund, completely wasted a full day and ruined our trip, could have been a bit more understanding that I was in so much pain and we travelled so far, really dissapointed.

GOT Fan, a must to visit

If you were/are a fan of Game of Thrones, this is a must for you. A walk through the various sets, the make up, and the making of the sets. Hard to believe this series was the most watched tv series on the planet for 14 years. Takes 2 to 3 hours, up to you how long you want to spend reading or looking at the various sets and extras. Make sure to book on line in advance and park at the Outlet in Banbridge. Dont go direct to the studio. Bus will bring you to studio, all part of package. We went off peak, and would make a difference, as less crowded. Would imagine if crowded, would take away from the experience. Very enjoyable and worth a visit.

Good but could be so much better

I went with my wife and I as a Game of Thrones fan I really enjoyed the whole experience, immediately getting taken into the whole Game of Thrones vibe. However, my wife who is not a fan found the costumes, set designs and attention to the smallest detail fascinating and consequently we both had a good time. However, as a business owner myself I was staggered as to how many opportunities were missed by the operator of the tour to further enhance the experience and at virtually zero cost whilst generating more income. The thing that was so disappointing was the gift shop full of mundane tat whilst true fans like myself would have happily spent on high quality value merchandise. How can you have a Game of Thrones gift shop without an offering of Helmets, Swords etc. The other very poor aspect was the location that has zero public transport links which means if you visit on a Monday to Friday you either need a car or pay £100 plus on Taxis for the return fair. This huge cost very nearly put my wife of visiting (and therefore me) whereas a small shuttle bus running 2/3 times a day from the centre of Belfast for a small self financing charge would increase visiting numbers drastically. Brilliant

If you are a GoT fan this is a must, if you go in the week it’s cheaper. You get picked up in the nearby shopping complex which allows you to spend as long as you like in the tour. It has excellent restaurants and the staff are really helpful. As for what you can see, hear and do it’s fabulous, everything you see was used in the shows. We loved it

A must do experience for any Game of thrones fan

We wasn't really sure on what to expect as it's still a fairly new studio, however it was an amazing experience. This is ideal and a must do for any Game of thrones fan, definitely worth the visit and surprisingly there was plenty to see there, the details that went into making the series and the studio are spectacular. There's definitely potential for an expansion, maybe include some more fun interaction elements like flying on a dragon. But overall we were very pleased we had the opportunity to go whilst we were visiting friends and family in Northern Ireland.

A 'Must See' for GoT fans

So well designed, from the initial welcome, through the layout of the themed areas to the close-up views of props, costumes and behind the scenes information. The staff are very helpful and knowledgable (some having been extras in the show) and having booked a 10am Monday tour, we were able to take our time seeing all the exhibits without waiting for other people. Particularly liked the Hall of Faces where you can add your own death mask to the collection. Valar Morghulis! The merchandise is pricey, but very good quality, with some niche items for mega-fans (House Arryn, Tolley, Greyjoy or Martell T-shirt anyone?). This was our second visit, and we'll go back again next year.

Outstanding!

As a GOT fan I found it a really enthralling experience as did my fiancé who's never even watched it. We have friends visiting from Australia next year and can't wait to take them. It's a great experience.

Strictly for fans only!

THe various displays are pretty impressive, But, you need to be a dedicated fan to get the most out of your visit. The merchandising is , as seems to be normal for such attractions, a bit of a rip-off!

Must See for GOT Fans (and even those who haven't watched)

My husband and I are GOT fans and spent a good amount of time in Northern Ireland driving around on our own to find film sites. This Studio Tour hadn't hit our radar until the day before and we got tickets for us along with 2 travel companions who hadn't seen the show. Even they really enjoyed it and will be starting the series upon returning home. We spent about 3 hours there walking around slowly and reading, taking pictures, and taking it all in. So fun to think this is where they filmed much of the inside scenes; a Hollywood right here in Northern Ireland. There are a few interactive photo ops including robing up and sitting on an iron throne. So fun!

Must see for GOT fans

Really enjoyed the studio tour. Impressive seeing the costumes, props and sets. As a massive fan of the show I would recommend!

Fabulous Tour

Brilliant studio tour. A must for any fans of the show. Really helpful and friendly staff. Reasonably priced gift shop at the end of tour.

Excellent attraction

I took my fan friend from Canada to the Linen Mill studios exhibit as I knew she would enjoy it. Little did I expect to love it so much and I didn’t even watch the show! As good an attraction as I’ve been to anywhere in the world - it does Northern Ireland proud. The staff were friendly and interesting, the sets were amazing and the collection of costumes and props was astounding. The photo opportunities were numerous, the cafe was great value and high quality and the merch shop was extensive and not too expensive. We took the transfer from the Boulevard meeting point in Banbridge which was very easy. A wonderful day out - don’t miss, especially if you’re a fan.

We absolutely loved the tour! It’s a great opportunity for all game of thrones fans, really immersive, the staff are also huge fans and you can tell they love their job. It was an all round great experience. Definitely recommend!

Brilliant

A great studio tour. We spent about 3 and a half hours there. Loved seeing and being in the sets and seeing all the costumes in the flesh. Highly recommended

A Must See Game Of Thrones Studio Tour.

The Studio tour was absolutely fantastic- the props and sets that were displayed were fabulous. We used the audio tour which really complemented all of the written material which was available to read. However the use of audio tour is not essential to fully enjoy the experience. We were not rushed to complete the tour and there were guides available to whom any questions could be asked. The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable. There were also engaging interactive experiences available to enjoy during the tour. Although I had not watched the entire series, I would highly recommend this studio tour to everyone and if you are a Game of Thrones fan - this Studio Tour is a “must see”.
