Outstanding Sunset Cruise

Ken and Nina were amazing hosts, filled with so much knowledge and kindness!! Would absolutely recommend this Canal Cruise to anyone wanting a little to explore the Sunshine Coast’s Canal, especially at the sunset cruise. Beautiful views and an amazing sunset!!

Lovely one hour cruise on the Mooloolaba waterways

It was such a nice cruise, the pilot was such a nice friendly guy, with a great running commentary on everything we saw. And the young hostess Nina was also very good and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this cruise to anyone. As an aside, they asked us to change our booking from the Sunset cruise, to the 1pm cruise ( the weather had suddenly turned cold), and to compensate us we were each offered a free drink, which we gratefully accepted.

Mooloolaba Cruise

This cruise was awesome! First of all, I would like to thank the tour owner/operators for pushing back my time--their generosity allowed me to enjoy this cruise. I loved the guides, Ken and Mina and their sense of humor. Don't worry, no crocs got on the boat haha! The Croc One made me tear up a little, RIP Steve. Us Americans miss you too. 💖 Such an informative and fun trip around the Sunshine Coast. Would love to do more tours in future!

Worthwhile tour

Highly recommend this tour. Lovely way to while away an hour. The commentary was very informative and funny, and nice that you could get a drink or nibbles if you wished.

What a fabulously great time! The information shared and scenery viewed was fantastic, and I even got to be a big kid and steer the boat and learn a little about it!

Great way to spend an hour.

The ferry is an old refurbished Brisbane river boat. It just oozes charm and character. The pace is just fine for older folk, great range of drinks and booze at good prices. Relax in padded seating and enjoy the views of the millionaires homes.

Lovely way to spend an hour on a Saturday afternoon through the canal looking at the lovely mansions Captain was friendly and great humour, nice glass of wine and very relaxing. would definitely recommend.

Relaxing hour spent on the canals

Lovely gentle cruise through the canals of Mooloolaba. Skipper and crew were friendly and welcoming. Had a lovely chat with Raine the crew member, who was attentive and made sure all on board were looked after. Great commentary on board. I booked the lunch cruise and had a huge lunch and glass of wine at the Dock restaurant which was great value.

The two staff members were very friendly and the compare told us all about the wonderful houses and who owned some of them and other interesting facts about lots of things of interest. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and I will highly recommend this hour tour to my family and friends.

Fab way to spend a Friday arvo. The boat is just lovely. Not too big. Drink menu right next to your seat. Decent prices for a vino and drinks ordered and bought to you. The guides were just so very lovely! Interesting to hear about the owners of the houses. And best of all, great price! Will be doing this again for sure. Just so relaxing!!!

Mooloolaba Canal Cruise

This tour is brilliant, goes around the suburbs in Mooloolaba viewing the houses and local areas. I would recommend this tour, drinks available to purchase onboard. Will go again next time on vacation.

A must do Canal Cruise from The Wharf, Mooloolaba

Paul's inimitable commentary style was both humorous and factual and it seemed like he still actually enjoys the work even after doing this same tour 100s of times over the past few years. Offsider Lucy was very welcoming and helpful too.

Highly recommend doing the Mooloolaba Canal Cruise, such a beautiful scenery and very friendly. Get to see all the nice homes along the water and all the different boats, might even see a croc 😜

A lovely relaxing end to the day

We are two adults and a 6 year old and enjoyed the sunset cruise. The crew were welcoming. It was interesting to see the houses and boats around the marina. It was a relaxing and a lovely end to our day.

Fantastic tour.

Booked the 1hour tour with a great crew, Callan and Rain. He gave lots information and few jokes too. And Rain went round and chatted t everyone which was nice.Being from uk I didn’t know any of the celebrities he mentioned except the Irwin family but that’s on me not them. Had lovely weather too. The boat is in great condition, looks freshly painted with carpet too. Be good for a wedding or special occasions. Highly recommend.

Cruise Mooloolaba and Lunch at “The Dock”

Lovely relaxing cruise through Mooloolaba canals and river. Friendly and informative service by the on board team. Lovely surprise when we arrived for lunch at The Dock…a table had been booked for us with a great view. Definitely would do again when we next visit.

Mooloolaba canal cruise ! Lazy days!!

Second time, I have done this boat trip! With different family members! It gets better each time! I brought a Smorgasbord and took advantage of the bar on board the boat! Fabulous afternoon! Very knowledgeable and informative! My Uncle even get to sail the boat ! Made his day! Will be back for a third trip , no doubt! ⭐️💫 5 !

Seek out this cruise, it’s an hour well spent

We hadn’t heard about this cruise until a waitress mentioned it to us at a local cafe during breakfast. It sounded interesting and a nice break from the beach so we immediately sought it out. We weren’t disappointed! I left a message on the company’s answering service to check whether they had room in the cruise scheduled to depart in 2 hours at 1pm. A quick response and we were booked in seamlessly. The boat is an old reconditioned ferry with cafe blinds that are open unless it’s pouring with rain so you are right there on the water rather than staring out through glass windows like the other local cruise boats we saw. We absolutely loved it! Captain Callan and crew member Rain were superb! Informative and attentive. Drinks were served at a reasonable price - soft or alcoholic and simple snacks available. We cruised the natural and manmade canals listening to Callan’s intermittent (ie not too overbearing) informative and humorous commentary. We learned about which celebrities owned which house, what the current sales figures are compared with 30 years’ ago, the local neighbourhood gossip about who antagonises who and how. It was like listening to a soap opera amongst $25M homes with a bit of history thrown in. The hour passed very quickly and before we knew it, we were back on dry land with recommendations for great local places to eat during our stay. Highly recommend this as an entertaining break to an afternoon!

Excellent cruise, very friendly crew members. The captain allowed our grandson to stand at the helm, which he loved immensely.

Great Sunset Cruise

Great one hour sunset tour with information about the construction of the canals and wharf area. A good look at all the large homes on the canals and boats. The crew were so friendly and welcoming, the tour info informative. You can order drinks and snacks on board to enjoy with your cruise. We went as a family for $95, which I thought was great value. Would definitely do again as a good way to finish the day. You can then have dinner at one of the many restaurants at the wharf.

Amazing- fun- informative- all weather cruise

The best cruise we’ve ever been on - so much fun! The commentary was excellent and informative and the 🥂 were amazing. We drive the boat- saw amazing properties and even saw a stingray jump out of the water. Steve Irwin was channeled by our friend and we had such a giggly time! Highly recommend this cruise on a very comfortable boat, all weather, very calm. We’ll be back!! Thank you from the witch and her two friends 🥂

Fantastic outing

What a fabulous last outing to finish my birthday celebrations - along with my girl and her bestie. Paul was such an entertaining and knowledgeable guide, Raine was a super hostess and the Mudjimba is the sweetest ferry I've ever been on (and I grew up with ferries on Sydney Harbour!). We had a wonderful and enjoyable time and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, whether visitor or local.

Good value

With one hour to spare before lunch, this cruise was the perfect activity. The captain/guide had a world of knowledge on the area and the houses surrounding the canal. The cruise was enjoyable with interesting info, fun trivia, drinks available and shelter from the sun. This cruise was excellent value, being both informative and affordable. I recommend it.

A very informative trip on a beautiful sunny day. We were well looked after by the captain and his young crew member and learned a lot about the history of Mooloolaba which made it a very interesting trip. Well worth the money, highly recommended. Thank you to the captain and crew.

This cruise was very relaxing and very enjoyable. The skipper Paul is very knowledgeable about the boat, the wharf and surrounding area. The music Paul played in between was great. It was a great way to start our Sunday morning.

Fantastic cruise, where you see a lot of luxury homes along the canal, and learn about who owns them, as well as the wider history of the Mooloolaba canal and area. The skipper Paul is very knowledgeable, friendly, with a great sense of humour. On our cruise he was very well assisted by Izzy, who was very friendly and attentive to any passenger needs. A great trip which we highly recommend to any visitor to Mooloolaba.

Daddy daughter date for Father’s Day.

Had a beautiful Fathers Day with my Dad. I purchased the cruise and prawns. The cruise was relaxing and informative. We were well looked after with a lovely glass of wine too. Having our prawns after was fantastic at Prawn Stop on their boat. Prawns were so very fresh and tender and another glass of went down like a treat. Thank you for a fantastic few hours.
