Segway around Nice

We had a great time doing the Segway. See some of the sights of Nice up high. Pauline our guide was great stopping at some lovely sites so we could take some photos. Even though I fell off and badly damaged my knee. We had a great experience.

Great tour with Elena!

Elena gave us a great overview tour of the highlights of Nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed riding the Segway's and listening to everything she had to tell us. She is a wonderful leader, and the tour itself is a lot of fun with lots of highlights of the city of Nice: Cours Saleya, Vieux Nice, Promenade des Anglais, Chateau Hill, the Port area, etc. Highly recommend!!

Meh

It was fun to learn how to Segway. And it was a great way to see a large part of the city. But our sweet tour guide was a university intern who recently transferred to Nice and barely spoke English. So we didn’t learn much history and our questions weren’t answered. It was still fun, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to learn about the history of Nice.

Best Segway tour ever! Pauline is the greatest tour guide ever! Highly recommend getting Pauline as a tour guide. She is kind, funny, and sweet! She was really funny during the tour because she could make any story turn funny and she also had quite the hiccups 😂 Overall, it was my girlfriend and I’s first time on a Segway, and she made the experience so magical ❤️❤️

Amazing Segway tour!!

Amazing Segway tour with our guide Chiara yesterday. We really enjoyed it and had an amazing time going through Nice Old Town, up to the castle waterfall and along the seafront. Would highly recommend this tour.

Perfect tour for everyone

The 2-hour tour was a lot of fun and informative. Elena was an excellent guide and had a great personality. She’s perfect for the job! It was my first time riding a Segway and it’s a lot easier than it looks. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Nice and looking for something fun to do.

Loved Exploring Nice via Segway

This was such a great way to spend our first afternoon in Nice. We loved Mimi, our guide and loved the ease of riding a Segway for the first time. This was an interactive way to explore Nice. I’d do it again

The trip that never happened

We were coming from a cruise ship and because there is no information on which port is closest we missed our start time. We had been on Segways before so didn’t need a lot of safety or training, but because they felt we would they said they would not wait and that Since we booked via Viator that we had to speak to them about the issues. I will say they did offer to move the reservation to a time that wouldn’t work for $10 per person. Live and learn.

Segways over walking any day!

It was great to see Old Town, but riding to the top of the look-out was the best part of the tour!! Spectacular! And I’m so glad we were on segways and not walking up all those stairs. 😂 Our guide, Laura, was absolutely darling and very attentive. And her (self-taught!) English is exceptional.

A must do in Nice

The views of Nice from the Chateau are stunning, loved going through the Old City, but the best part of this tour for me was our guide Laura. Brilliant. This tour is a must, make time in your diary and enjoy!! Loved it.

Do it!

Did the hour tour with my wife. First time we’d been on a Segway but after a few mins of training we were all set and it’s pretty easy to get the hang of for those who are perhaps a little worried. The tour was led by Chiara who did a great job of taking us around Nice centre and the narrow streets of the old town. It was busy as you would expect but we got round no problem. Chiara was informative and stopped a few time along the route so she could explain a few things to us. It was a mixed group of English speaking and French so Chiara explained things in English and in French which was great. Worth the money and gives you a great insight of Nice old and new, also gives you a chance to see the sights without having to walk around aimlessly.

Extremely fun and a good laugh as well as learning about Nice. Leah was very informative and a lot of fun. 10/10 would recommend for anyone visiting Nice

Perfect tour of Nice promenade and old town

Loved the tour! Elena was our guide and she was extremely patient and supportive when teaching us how to use the segways. She was friendly and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The tour itself was a perfect trip around the old town of Nice and the segways were an excellent way to get around and great fun! Cannot think of anything that would make it better and would highly recommend.

Best ever ride!

We are so excited to try this experience; that's why we arrived at the location early. lol Anyway, Lea, our tour quide was a fantastic telefantastic gal. She is so cool, knowledgeable, and accommodating to us. We had the best 1 hour exploration through the nice centre and old town. We will definitely recommend them. Segway is a unique way to explore NICE and very easy to use. Best experience eveeer!!

Would definitely recommend the Nice City Segway tour, a great way to see the City and our Tour Guide Elena was an excellent guide, very knowledgable on the History of Nice and made the tour very enjoyable!

A great day in the sunshine

We went today and had a brilliant time. Just the two of us plus two interns were lead by Elena. She was fantastic. Very knowledgable about Nice and able to share some interesting history facts from the area. We did the two hour Grand Tour and it was the perfect amount of time to see everything. The views were amazing. Especially from Castle Hill. Thank you! Would highly recommend! Segways are so much fun!

Loved this city tour!!

Elena was a marvelous guide!!. We learned how to ride the Segways and then we made our why through the city. Then we went to the Castle Hill/park and could see the sea and the all of Nice. We had a large group and everyone had a good time (even our teenagers!). It is definitely worth doing the 2 hour tour.

Great 2 hours

John was great! We had never been on a segway but with his help we were quickly up and running. Informative and able to see more because we could get around quickly. I would definitely do agin and recommend.

Fun way to see Nice!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our Segway tour in Nice. It was a lot of fun to see the main attractions of the city this way. Our tour guide Loric was wonderful and friendly. I would highly recommend him !!

Superb experience

The tour was amazing! John did an awesome job showing us some gems of Nice and teaching how to ride a segway. My teenage daughter was so impressed and loved every minute of it! Highly recommend this experience

ELENA WAS AMAZINGGGGG she was so so professional, informative , fun and responsible . She was very very understanding even thou I was late by a few mins . I loved her energy and vibe . Fabulously fun…we loved it!

We had such a great time on our Segway tour and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nice and looking for a fun and unique way of exploring the city! Owen was a fantastic guide - he was so patient and encouraging in helping us get acclimatised to the Segways before setting off on our tour. Incredible experience

We arrived at the place a bit early and were asked to fill in our details. Owen was assigned to us and he took us to the promenade to give us training as it was our first time on a Segway. His guidance was superb and within few minutes we felt confident to make a start. We were taken to all the nice spots and the whole experience was excellent. A lovely way to see Nice and Segway is incredibly easy to ride and lots of fun. Thanks to Owen for being a wonderful guide.

Sunshine of Nice

Our guide Elena worked so hard on our tour. My husband and I had done similar tours before and we enjoyed the introduction to the sights of Nice. However, there were some young people on our tour and one person could not control his segway so Elena had to manage the situation. Although we had to return to base prematurely, we had no regrets as we saw most of what we had planned to see and events were not Elena's fault. We would still recommend this tour and had we had more time, we would have done another longer tour by ourselves.

Segway? The only way!

Elena was an amazing guide who knew about the city and was genuinely friendly to the group. There is no way we would have seen as much of Nice in the few hours we had between flights without this tour. I highly recommend to all.

Half day tour in Nice was great!

It was very fun! We were able to see the touristic parts of Nice in 2 hours (which would have been impossible to do by walking). Elena was great and extremely helpful! Thank you!

Recommended must go!

We were looking for a short half day tour for Nice and chanced upon this. It was a great choice. Our guide, Eleanor was the best! She gave very clear instructions on how to use the Segway, giving safety tips and always turning back at times to make sure we were keeping up with her during the tour. Thank you for the complimentary photo, it will be a good momento and memory to safekeep.

Fun and interesting tour

Elena was a lovely knowledgeable tour guide who safely showed us very interesting parts of the city including the view from the top of the hill which we would have never made it to without the Segway. Must do this tour!

best way to see Nice

Miriam was our guide and she was amazing - so full of chat and she made us feel at ease on the segways as we had never been on one before - She was so good with her time and made she that we got to see all the sights on the 2 hour tour. Book it you wont be disappointed.

Autumn sun

Our first visit and impressied with tram and bus transport that was efficient and very cheap. Everything else was more expensive then expected and one restaurant charged us €12 for a glass of sauvignon ! Instead of taxi from airport we used tram only 50m from exit doors and leaves every 5-7 mins. From airport T2 its free to Grand Arenas 2 stops away (5mins) where you get off and by travel card from ticket machine on platform and load with €'s (we paid €10 per person ) each tram or bus trip costs €1.70 wherever you get on&off and we travelled the whole bay for 4 days. Enjoyed walking the bay especially old Nice and marinas. Park Pheonix is showing its age but was a great visit lost of very interesting animals bug, snakes tortoises for €5 and onsite cafe for drinks and meals. We visited Monaco for a great day out mixing with Bentley, Rolls, Ferraris drivers etc... Need to use the SNCF train this trip and was also very clean & efficient only 30 mins each way. Buy return ticket at Gare Nice-Ville station €8.80. We usd Sightseeing bus at Nice and Monaco again not cheap at €20pp but both worth doing if you want to see the wider area.

We had a fantastic experience with our guide, John, while we explored Nice on Segways. John is incredibly friendly and created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip. The scenery along the road was breathtaking, and it became even more stunning as we ascended to the Castle Hill of Nice. We highly recommend this tour to all travelers seeking a memorable and enjoyable experience in Nice.

Fantastic tour of Nice - Don't miss it!

This Segway tour was excellent, and we’d highly recommend it. It was easy to organise and book (we found it on TripAdvisor), and final payment was only needed two days before the trip. On the day we were the only couple on the tour – so had a guide to ourselves. Margot, our guide, was fantastic – and gave us a fascinating tour of the key sites of Nice, details of the historic stuff and finished at the top of the castle with stunning views. Before we set-off we had training, practice and safety briefing; watch the pedestrians; beware of gutters; miss the manholes – so we felt safe and comfortable using the Segways. Crash helmets were provided. This was a brilliant way to see the city, not miss out of anything interesting – and take away the strain from walking!
