Classical Perfume Workshop in Nice

A great class with a unique product

Our whole family, including our two teenage daughters, absolutely loved this class. It was so much fun to smell so many different scents (90!) to find the ones each of us liked best. The instructor used her expertise to help us make the best combination from our favorites. We each left incredibly happy with our unique and personalized creations.

Fun family experience

I loved this workshop. I would definitely do it again. My family and I had a blast making our own scents. I would say it was one of the highlights of our experience in Nice. The only thing I would recommend is for the workshop to be a little longer. Maybe an hour and a half. I felt a little rushed towards the end.

Great Perfume Workshop in Nice!

The experience was great….the instructions were clear, the options for scents were plenty, and we walked away with wonderful souvenirs!

Fun experience

What a fun experience to do on a trip with your own bottle to take home. It was overwhelming at first but they made it so easy to help pick the perfect scent. I would recommend!

Short and sweet but fun

This is a nice experience if you are into fragrances, and it is fun to be able to take home a scent that you created. There is not much to the tour - there is a brief discussion of the different notes in a perfume, and then you are set off to start smelling all of the fragrances. You then select several to combine into your own fragrance, which the staff/guides help you with and make recommendations. Your fragrance is given a number so if you like your creation, you can reorder it at any time. Overall a nice experience.

Perfume chemistry fun

Was a fun hands on experience for my lady and myself. KeRned much and made our own perfume spray and a kool/cute certificate money well spent

Totally unique experience!

Had a blast with this experience - our guide was friendly, educational, and made sure each person was on track throughout the hour. You’ll sample different scents, make notes throughout, and spend some time building different combinations to concoct your perfume/cologne. When I was stuck, the guide helped me build a base and from there was able to craft a perfect “signature scent” for me. I really love the mix I put together - which you go home with at the end! It’s a great experience plus a keepsake memento to remember your trip to Nice - would recommend this to a friend any day!

Our perfume workshop in Nice was an absolute delight from start to finish! Crafting our own signature scents under the expert guidance of the perfumers was a truly unforgettable experience. The host was great! She was knowledgeable, very helpful and lovely to interact with! I highly recommend this experience.

Lots of choice

The assistants are extremely kind and courteous and offer extremely good support when creating your own perfume. However, I did miss the introduction a little. - I would have liked a short presentation on the history and production of perfume, especially as it is such an exciting craft. I also had the feeling that I was under a bit of pressure in terms of time, just like the assistants. There was a really large selection of fragrances and you were allowed to combine a lot of fragrances (without a limit). - This made your own perfume truly unique!

It was a fun experience for me and my teen daughter, lots of scent choices and the perfumer decided the amount of each scent so the final perfume is personalized and also pleasant! Perfect length of time, easy to find and informative

Very enjoyable and fun experience making perfume. So much more complex than anticipated. We all left with our unique scent and perfume combinations. Definitely recommend!

Make your own scent and keep it on file in France!

Lovely experience! Went as a family. Skilled guide directs how to select scents that are appealing to you according to a scent pyramid. Once you dip the paper sticks into each scent you like (after labeling) you start putting them together fanning them at yourself. Then the professional perfumer helps you figure out the ratios and voila you use pipets and create your scent to take home! Seriously my favorite smelling perfume ever! And each of my kids and husband found their own unique set! We took pictures of our certificates with our unique perfume no. So that we can order in the future! We all enjoyed it more than we thought and the staff was great!

Unique experience

Amazing experience, very unique. We had great time mixing everything, smelling, trying to compose our very own perfumes. Lea was our guide and we wouldn't go far without her, sve was awesome, explained everything. History of perfumes, of their company, how to choose, how to blend different notes. She helped us to make perfumes that are really us, and the best thing- everyone has their one unique number and we can reorder them any time we want.

This course is a must if you are visiting Nice. The instructors were amazing so knowledgeable and kind. So much more than we expected and we went home with a beautiful bottle of perfume that we created. Exceeded all expectations

Loved the experience!

Our perfumer was amazing and helped us perfect our scents. There were so many options for us to chose from and my friend and I ended up smelling wonderful for the rest of our trip. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend. Also the perfumes end up being 50mL so perfect for a carry-on if you are traveling light!!!

We really enjoyed the whole perfume workshop experience. we were given clear guidance on the process of selecting and creating the perfume. The only that could make it better would be having a longer time to enjoy the whole experience. we were delighted with the scents we created.

Interesting experience

Very interesting process. Worth the money. The hostess spoke too fast to be understood and didn’t slow down when asked. But she is very knowledgeable and greatly helped to perfect our perfume choices.

Must do!

I had a great time in the perfume workshop; in a short amount of time you learn a bit about making perfume and how difficult and intricate it is. I was astonished by the knowledge by the lady that led our workshop. Next to that I've met some great people as well!

Such a fun experience. You not only get to create your own perfume. They then give you a code to reorder it online.

Enjoyable time

Undertaken this challenge to create a custom perfume for my granddaughter. I am glad I did! It was a lovely way to spend an hour. The process was well organized and guided. I just wish they explained in a bit more detail the perfume making process.

Perfume Scientist!

I loved this experience! Based off the reviews I chose to go earlier to the 10am time slot which was perfect. There was a full second table group that came in maybe 10/15 minutes late which worked perfectly as our workshop guide was able to stagger our experiences and give help. The first 20 minutes was smelling all the different scents and selecting our favorites. Once we’d made our selection our guide would put the scents together and allow us to test the scent and make adjustments. Then we used droppers to measure out the content of the bottle- I felt like a scientist! This was so much fun, I’d highly recommend going alone and making friends with your table or bringing someone else to share the experience with. I would definitely do this again.

Great fun and fab experience

We went as a group of 3 for a birthday gift for a friend. We had a great time! The lady who ran the session was very friendly and helpful, she did a small overview, showed us the best way to smell the scents available (wide range to choose from) and then picked which of the scents worked best together and showed us how to measure to make our own to take with us. Was a great experience and nice to be able to bring home a scent that is specific to you.

Awesome Opportunity for a Unique Souvenir

This was such a fun experience! I definitely learned a lot about perfume and how to wear it. We loved that it was hands-on and that we had a very knowledgeable guide helping us along the way. We wish that we had a little more time but overall we ended up with a solid product and a unique souvenir.

Fun Memories with Friends

I booked this experience for my friends and I, and we had so much fun creating our own scents. The experience was about an hour long and the young lady who was assisting us was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. I loved the fact that the specific ingredients and quantities that we chose could be made again, because it’s stored in their data base.

A delicious smelling race against the clock

This was a pretty cool experience but my two issues were that: A) the time given to make your perfume is 45 minutes which may sound like a long time but there is a lots of smells to smell and you may think you know what you like but then something different catches your eye and you find yourself wanting to smell all the fragrances. In the end it was a very rushed experience which really took away from the enjoyment of the whole process. B) there was no bathroom for the people spending $85 during that short 45 minutes to use. Girls always have to pee and if your business is geared towards women do us a courtesy and make a restroom available to us don’t wave us out the door telling us to “go buy a snack someplace and use their restroom “

Perfume Perfection

We loved this experience! It is very well organized and efficiently run. When we arrived they had our seats prepared for us. Our instructor clearly explained what we were to do when smelling and selecting our favorite scents from the numerous scents available. Then she worked with each of us to create our own special perfume. Amazingly, even though there were approximately 12 people in the class with only one instructor, she gave each one of us personal attention. The best part is that each of us has a special treasure (our own perfume) to take home!

Great perfume making experience in beautiful Nice, France

Molinard Perfume workshop was fun and informative. It is only one hour long, but that was enough time for each of us to blend a personalized perfume which we got to take home in lovely spray bottles. Our host was kind and warm and made everybody feel welcome. She talked us through the fragrance selection process and helped us choose blends based on our preferences. She provided the formula. She thought would work for each of us and then we got to blend our own. I enjoyed every moment. I look forward to next week when my custom perfume has had time to fully blend and smell its best. .

It was fun to customize my own scent. My stepdaughter and I went expecting it to be fun, but we had no idea it would be so awesome! The clerk that assisted us was very knowledgeable!

We would have preferred some more education as to why certain fragrances work together and others do not. The whole experience felt rushed and crowded. The instructor was lovely but overwhelmed
