We had a fantastic day with FX- he was an amazing guide and a wealth of knowledge. He customized our itinerary to what we wanted making the day just perfect for us. Then he went above and beyond recommending and making reservations for us at a wonderful lunch spot on the beach in Monaco AND booking reservations for dinner after we were done with our day. He was welcoming, friendly and so funny. Thank you for making our girls trip unforgettable!

Amazing time at the French Riviera

The tour was very insightful and enjoyable, with plenty of time at each town to stroll around! Our tour guide, François Xavier (or FX as we called him) was the best, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Highly recommended!

Fun Action Packed Day Filled w/local history, good food & plenty of laughter!

Smiley was phenomenal- extremely knowledgeable, friendly- you could she really really enjoys her job! She picked us up @ the Port in nice clean newer SUV - after a few mins of discussing what we would like to do - Smiley formulated the perfect customized itinerary: Fragonard Perfumery Factory, Eze medieval Village for a tour & lunch then we were off to Ritzy Monaco/Monte Carlo to see the sights and light a memorial candle in the Monaco Cathedral were Grace Kelley & Prince Albert are interred. We wrapped up or day VilleFranche Sur Mur w/free time to explore the village to shop, enjoy the spectacular views while enjoy some delish ice cream! This was one of the best tours we’ve taken! By the time Smiley dropped us off at the port we were all BFF’s! Next trip we plan to skip the other tour operators and rebook w/our new friend Smiley! Trust me her tour is well worth the price ☺️

Beware of scam surcharge at end of tour

We booked a private car and guided tour for 7 hours for over 800eu. to be picked up at Nice main port thru Viator, Trip Advisor. They confirmed paid in full. Anthony, our driver and guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. I give this rating a 2 instead of a top rating because at the end of the tour he informed us of an additional charge of 90eu. due to being picked up at the port, not a hotel. He showed us false text messages of this additional charge that was not received by us; nor did Viator notify us that there was a surcharge for port pick up by the hired company they booked for us. We were told by Viator we paid in full and complete reservation via email and phone the day before. We planned on giving him a generous gratuity, but when he explained the additional surcharge, we were upset of never being informed and believe it’s a scam from the tour company. I recommend Viator and those booking this tour company not use this tour operator. We are demanding a refund from our charge. I hope you all beware.

Great trip, very knowledgeable!

Sylvia definitely knew the best areas to visit and was very knowledgeable! She was as charming and really made our trip special!!

Amazing Trip!

We had an amazing time with Maria. She brought us around and described the sights. She also knew the picture spots and gave us enough time to do what we wanted.

Easy, fun tour

Francis took us on a delightful tour of the French Riviera tailoring it to our needs that day which was wanting an easy drive seeing all the high points. We appreciated the history of the area and the stops we wanted to make to do a little shopping here and there. It was a hot day so we had not so much energy - Francis took us to a place to even get our passports stamped in Monaco :) The drive was very easy and he made great lunch reservations for us. Would recommend.

Fantastic Tours! Highly Recommend!

Just did 3 private tours with Smart Tours and they were wonderful!! They were so helpful and responsive in helping plan the tours and very flexible as well to what we wanted to do, so you can totally customize your tours. There were 4 of us and we had a beautiful Mercedes van for all 3 days and an amazing and wonderful driver “Smiley”, She was the best! I would totally recommend Smart Tours. Reliable and fabulous!!

This tour is Amazing, but make sure you have a group smaller then 8 or 2 English speaking guides

This tour is outstanding and I highly recommend it, unfortunately we had 9 people and were forced to take 2 vans. 1 van had FX a gent who lived in America and Spoke amazing English, our van had a French gentleman (John) who did speak a little English but very broken. The van with FX had an amazing tour, our van, not so much. Regardless, the sights you see and the experience is worth the $$$$, just make sure your group has less then 8. I would also suggest skipping Cannes, not much to see, Antibes, Monaco and EZE, AMAZING Also, FX made lunch and dinner reservations for us and did not disappoint!

Inspiring Cote Dazur private tours which is run by Sandra Ottaviani is the best private tour experience I have ever taken in the South of France We took the half day antiques and interiors tour , we wandered through the antiques market in Nice before being swept away to beautiful Valbonne for lunch in the old town and afternoons shopping for all the things you don’t need but must have. Returned to Villefranche Sur Mer relaxed and totally satisfied . It’s also incredibly good value and her language skills, discretion and knowledge are invaluable She also does Cuisine Tours and sightseeing tours, airport transfers all in her lovely Volvo XC 90 Highly recommend it

We reserved the Best of the French Riviera with Italy Tours for 7 family members. Originally it was 9 and two had to cancel last minute; they took care of this immediately. Our guide was Guy; there were three cruise ships docked in Cannes and the traffic was terrible—so we asked if he could take us to some small villages rather than Monaco and Eze. We went to Goirdon, Grasse, and another small village: saw a private lavender field and a waterfall . We had lunch at La Taverne Provençal in Gourdon; it was a gourmet meal with fabulous views. It was one of our best days. I would highly recommend reserving with a Italy Tours and their sister company, Spain Day Tours.

Time well spent

This tour started with me, being picked up from the hotel. The van was a small van, it was a semi-private tour. Our driver, Freidrich was speaking English very well. He know a lot about Cannes, Monaco, Eze, St. Paul de Vence, etc. For a tour like this, time spent in every place is very well spread.

Un tour encantador

Tuvimos un maravilloso día en la Riviera Francesa. Las vistas fueron espectaculares. El guía estaba muy bien preparado, supo responder todas nuestras dudas y hacer la conversación amena. El vehículo muy cómodo y el trato excelente. Lo recomendamos.

Week-end de 3 jours sur Nice

Nous sommes arrivés sur Nice sans connaître la ville et ses alentours. Nous sommes tombés sur Anthony, un guide passionné par son métier . Il est doté d’un professionnalisme. Il est vraiment impliqué dans ce qu’il fait et sait vous faire apprécier votre visite. Il y met du sien et rend ainsi votre parcours des plus intéressant. Nous vous le recommandons sans hésitation ! Une visite agréable, où nous avons pu découvrir les plus beaux sites de la French Riviera en une journée. Vous ne serez pas déçu par sa prestation.
