This mall is absolutely huge. It has everything from food to close vehicles or indoor water park Nickelodeon universal a ice skating rink jewelry store shoe stores The works you name it it's got it my first time visiting here and we went to Nickelodeon. I bought tickets for everyone but I wish I would have known that I could have just bought tickets for one child and the oldest could have went in with me but did not have to ride the rides that would have saved me buying additional tickets due to the fact that they thought it was very childlike. But they do have roller coasters and other things that adults can enjoy. I wish I would have had time to go ice skating but I did not I will do it next time overall a good experience

Kids had a great time!

Place was great besides the thousands of 4' tall migrants surrounding my family and I. Lots of Saudis too I noticed. Keep your head on a swivel

Don’t waste your money

We took our daughter (8) for the noon year celebration at the Nickelodeon theme park. Normally the noon year celebration consist of characters coming out dancing and performing for kids to enjoy followed with a spectacular celebration to the noon year. This WASNT the case this year, they had a dj and all he did was ask Trivia questions followed by a 1 second visit of SpongeBob, and balloons. WASTE OF TIME & MONEY

Holiday Rip OFF rules

They usually have an option to buy an individual rides in Nickelodeon, like Paw Patrol playground, we did it a few times, but over this holiday weekend they denied that option. We came there with 4yo and 5yo that cannot do grown up kids rides, and they said we can't buy the tickets to playground only until January 2d. My kids were disappointed since I could not pay $180 for 2 kids for just a playground the they wanted to visit. I was told by the girl working the line there that this info was online, and I went online and couldn't find that info anywhere. And who searches the online rules every time you go there, especially when we came there many times? Very upset and dissipated. Will be going to other indoor playgrounds from now on, and not at this mall.

Don’t go during a football game

Not worth the hassle or scam parking. We went there during a jets game and was charged $75 for parking. Most of the stores were also closed because of the game as well. We did the Nickelodeon park. Most of the rides were either closed or broke down while waiting in line. Carpaccio’s restaurant was good and was the only bright spot

Wow! Must Do

This place is amazing! Make sure you plan for a full day here, especially if you have kids! The Nickelodeon experience was a huge hit with our kids and we basically had to drag them out because they didn’t want to leave. We didn’t get to experience everything we wanted to because there is so much to do. The dream wheel is a great experience too. Make time for it!

Great time! Used discount code GOVISITAD to save!

My family loves it here it is a great place to go on a rainy day. We came to NY from England for a week and was reading about this place in a publication we downloaded prior to our trip. We will be back for sure. We used the discount code GOVISITAD when we bought our tickets and saved about 20% tickets aren't cheap. We also went to the Mr. Beast burger joint, my kids were so happy to see that place.

A whole day of fun

This is a huge mall which can fill your entire day (even with kids). Between different attractions, food and shops, everyone can find something to do. the mall is easy to navigate and there are plenty of restrooms (mostly clean) and water fountains to fill your water bottle.

Great fun for all ages

My kids had a blast. Rides for all ages Really appreciated the extra thoughtful things like coloring and free tatoos for my little one while the big kids went on ride after ride Lots of kosher food options in the park itself as well as in the mall - very helpful! Once we left the rest of the activities in the mall kept us busy for hours We will for sure go back Love to bring tourists from other countries straight to this amazing mall

Best experience ever!!!

Nickelodeon universe is a must visit!! We had an amazing time with our family. The rides were so much fun!! The park was so colorful and clean!! We loved it and can’t wait to go back again!!

Had a great time today! brought both my kids and being indoor was a huge plus (coming from AZ) we actually did the water park the following day as this place is huge. definitely worth checking out!

Not Worth It!

Opposite our amazing time inside the Waterpark, this experience was a complete waste of time and money for our family with teens. When we arrived, there were 3 major roller coasters closed. We were able to do a total of 2 attractions and that was it. We would recommend this for young children only. Spend your money elsewhere!

Not impressed, several maintence issues

Took my family to celebrate my child's birthday. We went on a Saturday and expected it to be packed for Spring Break, but it wasn't at all. Problem is that several of the rides weren't open, under maintence. We checked the app and knew of 3, but when we got there, 2 more were shut down. We only went on 4 of bigger rides, but even with that, they kept shutting down rides randomly. 3 rides we were on line for, was told to come back in 5 minutes for maintence and that they do so randomly, so it doesn't have issues?? With these shut downs, we went on the Shredder, to wait 40 minutes and so did everyine else apperntly. It might not seem like a long wait, but with an empty park and half of the rides closed, we were very disappointed. We had gotten the twilight passes and could have easily been on all of the rides, IF they were working properly. Several other patrons also said the same, and that we won't be returning. I would suggest adding ride wait times to your app, besides maintenence of rides, which was not current while we were there. It may help people decide to not waste money and return later when more rides are open.

DO NOT recommend

We went on spring break week - it wasn't very crowded but I think I discovered why. Same impressions as the other reviews. Pros: It's pretty Cons: While the rides are good for a small venue, half were closed 1/2 hr wait on big ones that were open $79 ticket price is outrageous - especially if you have a large group. Food/snack prices are outrageous for sub-par food. Music is far to loud for such a slow paced environment Attention of staff is lethargic and disinterested at best. The blue train ride had 1/2 hr wait and was NEVER loaded fully, always 1/3 capacity - why? Parking for the mall is atrocious! Severe lack of signage and direction, people veering around all over and inside the parking decks when they suddenly see where they needed to go - would rather drive through Newark airport. There was and incident of some type while we were there on the back ride. The staff were scrambling around like untrained ants trying to block off a vast area - after some time, they reopened the surrounding space but not the ride. Determining whether the ride would be open was apparently priveliged information. Negatives far outweigh the positives though = I do not recommend unless you money to burn and time to waste.

Not worth the price of admission

Fun rides. Long lines, over crowded, felt dirty. Women’s room had no toilet paper and stalls were not clean. Toddler play area did not feel well maintained. Very expensive day, not a great value. Did not enjoy the live shows and the character meets were reparative with only 2 characters (1 ninja turtle, 1 paw patrol) the whole day. We will choose to skip the park and explore other attractions at the mall moving forward.

American Dream Family Vacation

American Dream over succeeded our expectations. Coming into the atmosphere we didn’t know what to expect but it most definitely was not what we experienced. Everyone we encountered was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. My family and I all enjoyed ourselves. We came only for the Nickelodeon Universe but after getting to the mall we got to experience that plus so much more. We will be back again!!

Not worth the money.

I went to Nickelodeon, for the price $79 was not worth it, all the rides was not open so that was more of a bummer enough there isn’t much rides. Over all the theme was cute. But won’t be visiting again.

NOT WORTH IT

The prices are insane. Pretzel 8$ Popcorn 7$ 20 oz soda 8 89$ for admission Do not go here and waste your money.

Fun-ish, but not worth the price

While the kids (aged 6-8) that we took had a fun time on the rides they could go on, there were a few things that made this a disappointing experience. 1) The parking at the mall is atrocious. It took nearly an hour to find a parking spot because of how horribly their traffic management is. After finding parking it was another 40 min before we were in the park due to where we had to park and the VERY long line to get wristbands for the tickets we had already purchased. 2) Don't expect all the rides to be open. Even if they are not labeled as under maintenance, some rides won't be open due to what I expect is extreme under-staffing. 3) Due to staffing issues again, it takes FOREVER to turn over the people on one ride and get the next set on. This is not the Disney, Universal Studios, or even 6-Flags level of efficiency that you would expect for the price. 4) Not worth the cost at all. Seeing as you can spend a comparable amount (or cheaper) for other theme parks I would suggest you go there. The money will be better spent and you'll overall have a better time.

Terrible!!!

There is too few rides. Most rides are either for adults or little kids. There are very few rides for kids age 7 - 12 . The rides are very expansive and not much to do. I would not recommend it for kids of even ages around 6 years to around 14 years old.

Fun, Average Lines, fair pricing

It was fun. We are a family of 7 with young children and also teenagers. There was rides for everyone but the ones my older kids wanted the most were closed. I suggest you check online before visiting to see what rides will be closed. We did the 2 park package and price was not bad taking into consideration we went during peak holiday (veterans day) and rides were unlimited. I did realized if you are not getting on rides you do not need to pay. We lasted about 3 hours. Lines were average there was no need for fast pass. Will I visit again? Yes

NICKELODEON UNIVERSE-MANY RIDES CLOSED

Many of the rides were closed. That's why the rating was not 5. I took my 3 grandsons and they expected to enjoy all the rides, but that wasnt the case,

Half Rides Were Closed! Ridiculous!!!!

Half the Rides at the Amusement Park were Closed for "Maintenance". If you're going to close half the rides, then Admission should be Half-Price! Since Our Enjoyment Was Cut In Half! Ridiculous!!!!

BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!

What a rip off. I took my two kids (ages 7 and 3) yesterday. We purchased 18 points for $35 with tax, which I thought would last more than 5 minutes, boy was I wrong. We rode the train ride which only went around once and was so slow. We then went to try another rides and were out of points. The train ride was $35 what ROBBERY and Im not cheap, I take my kids all over the place. Save your money and go anywhere else!

Employee forgot to check carousel ride for kids left

Tickets are a bit pricey. Employee forgot my kid on the carousel ride and didn’t check to see who might be left. My daughter couldn’t get off herself and remove the safety belt. My daughter was crying and when I told the employee, she seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes as if it was an inconvenience to not let the kids waiting in line wait a little longer to ensure my kids safety.

Don't pay for rides unless child is over 42 inches

We got an unlimited pass for 4 year old grand daughter only to find out she couldn't go on most of the rides and the ones she could go on were for toddlers. She couldn't even go on the carousel alone and for us to stand there beside her you had to buy a pass ticket. Seems like a money grab that one adult can't stand beside her without paying for a ticket. Even the play centre was 12 dollars in points for adult just to walk through to supervise. No different than a park climber you could go to for free. We are from Canada so for a few rides cost us about 50 dolllars in Canadian money for a few rides. About the only thing she was excited about was meeting the ninja turtle. So 5 american dollars every half hour to park plus 50 dollars.

Rip off. There are better ways to spend your money.

Rip off. Not worth it. We paid about $50 (4- 6 point tickets) to ride one ride (Slime Break? Rollercoaster) that lasted like 30 seconds. I am not exaggerating. It was an intense under minute ride but $50????. Also, there are no descriptions to describe the ride. When you walk into the “park” it looks like a huge track but it is actually multiple rides (orange, purple etc.) The limited staff was friendly. Could not find a ticket booth but learned that you can scan a QR code for each ride to pay accordingly. Later on I looked and found on their website you could purchase packages, which were also expressive in relation to what you are receiving. It’s mostly for little kids. My son is 6’3” and lean and had a hard time locking the bar over his legs. There is zero info regarding the rides duration. Had I known it was such a short ride, I would never have paid $50. We would have spent the money elsewhere. We should have paid attention to the “Nickelodeon” theme to understand it would be kiddy geared not all ages. I have no idea why people would spend this kind of money on a repeat basis or even for one ride. How do they expect to stay in business? It’s located in the swamps of NJ. I can think of much better ways to spend my money when it is rainy or too cold etc. and have a much better time. Overall, it is a wonderful concept but I believe people will be drawn in, find out very quickly it’s very expensive and not worth the return.

Not very big, More for smaller children!

Very cool that there is an amusement park in the inside of a mall! It is not very big. There is one large roller for adults or older kids. One medium roller coaster and one small roller coaster. Other then that, it is mostly for small children. If your kids are still into paw patrol, there is large paw patrol play area. Kind of expensive, but nowadays what isn't! In the whole mall there is a lot to do. If you are coming for just the amusement park, you do not need a whole day. I did not go to the water park (that may be a whole day) I do plan on going back to water park. The main reason we came, was, our kids wanted Mr. Beast burgers (a you tuber).

I'm Ready I'm Ready

Such a cool mall! Cute garden area on the main floor, a 3 story It's Sugar candy store, great food options in the "food court" and some seriously substantial roller coasters in the Nickelodeon theme park! My only complaint; SpongeBob left before I could get his autograph. What a self absorbed diva...🙄

Fun, fun, and more fun!

The Nickelodeon indoor theme park was amazing. My granddaughters loved meeting and taking pictures with some of there favorite characters. The rides were great for kids and adults. The best part about the theme park is it's inside. I enjoyed everything.

Not happy

I got threatened by a guest in front of staff and staff said nothing. I then came back to let staff know and she still said nothing just kept talking to other parents in locker room. I won’t be returning with my children for that matter. Staff should definitely report those things just in case something happens. But nothing at all was done and I have a severely disabled child.

An amazing Mall of shops and entertainment!

We had an excellent time in the Nickelodeon Universe during the Twilight hours! My 2 kids were able to ride many fun Nickelodeon themed rides with very little wait on a weekday evening. I'm still amazed how American Dream Mall has so much shopping and activities to do. The amusement park is great to have in a mall. My kids enjoyed all of the rollercoasters. We enjoyed our visit to this amazing mall!

Rides meant for little kids only

Rides are not accommodating to people who are either heavy set or have large legs. We went on one ride before the shredder ride and my boyfriend was told the ride isn’t locking properly and was so embarrassed by the employees and the whole experience itself that we left.

A complete entertainment center

it was a super experience. The kids had so much fun. We hope to come again as soon as possible. We recommend it to everyone.

Fun Time at the Dream Center!!!

This was my first time visiting with my husband and granddaughters. We had such a great time. We stayed for about three hours in the amusement park then went shopping for clothes for our teenage granddaughter then ate at the Yard House which had a great view of the ski slopes which was very entertaining and fun. We also stopped at Toys R Us for a strawberry/mango icy; Lewellyn’s (spelling??) for ice cream; and rode the electric animals around the mall (this was so much fun!!!! I chose the Panda to ride on). We plan to return to the area to try out the other activities we missed; maybe we can spend an entire day there the next time we go.

Amazing Family Trip

This was an amazing family trip that my children will always remember. They truly enjoyed themselves. The staff were extremely helpful when we needed them.

Fun but too Expensive

Kids of varied ages enjoyed. However spending $500 for an adult and 5 kids was ridiculously expensive. And the time spent waiting for each ride was excessive. Often the ride would begin when it was only partially full and the kids would wait for the ride to start/finish when they could have been filling in the empty seats. Also $5.27 for a soda is a rip-off. Basically it was just too expensive overall.

Nickelodeon Universe/TiLT Museum/Blacklight Minigolf

Wow! What an amazing mall! There is no way that you will be bored here. We managed to spend the entire day here! What is really nice about the extra attractions at the mall are the select discounts for add-ons to your experiences. That helped a lot with money and keeping up the fun! The mall is very clean and set up well. I would 110% return as this mall continues to develop!

Nickelodeon Universe/Mini Golf

Greetings folks, This is the 3rd time I've visited Nickelodeon Universe. It's always exciting and a pleasant time. Only helpful tip or feedback I have is that I wish the staff cleaned the rides after they've been used. I know so many facilities and businesses have became relaxed when it comes to cleanliness because COVID isn't as fearful to most as it was years ago. But it's important to still do our part and clean, and ensure good hygiene. We also tried a new experience for the first time which was the Black Light Indoor Mini Golf experience which was great but very busy with a lot of other people doing it. Other than that, everything was great.

Positive experience with some caveats for people with mobility issues

In general, a very positive experience. The park is amazingly compact - kudos to the designers who crammed so much in such a small space! Good news - a wide variety of attractions for a wide variety of customer (easy, medium, hard). Bad news - anybody with mobility issues will be challenged to do even the easiest of the attractions. The Dora the Explorer train (an attraction that creeps along at 2 mph with no drops or twists) requires a huge flight of stairs with no seating available for the 20 minute wait. The merry go round has one stationery spot - for wheelchairs only. And I don't even know how a wheelchair could get in there. The spinning teacups require a huge step up onto the platform, and again into the seat. Realizing this park is meant for kids, adults need to accompany the kids, and adults can have bad knees. The grandkids enjoyed the day. I enjoyed mostly people watching.

our first time there very bad experience

Unfortunately, I have to agree with many people's worst experiences and more, but more on that later. Too crowded, no places to sit, too expensive. Then around 3:00 p.m. m., we hear a big, loud BOOM. My family had gone to the address where the decoration fell, we panicked, we didn't know how to find it, a very bad experience, we never want to return to the place

Too Crowded and Expensive

I went with my 4 year old to the Nickelodeon experience and was very disappointed. We went on an ordinary Sunday and spent 1 hour circling around the parking lots with many other cars all looking for someone to leave. Then when we got in, a material amount of the rides were broken. And the. Kiddie rides all had 20-30 minute waits. Lastly, we paid $170 for the tickets alone. Overall it’s nice in concept but way too crowded and expensive to be worth a visit.

Wouldn’t recommend

Absolutely horrible experience. Paid to get into the park only to have 1 roller coaster actively working. Then tried to get on another one, only to have it break down as we were next to go on the ride. Approached the front desk for a refund and was told “probably wasn’t going to happen.” Will be submitting a claim with our credit card company.

Disappointing

This place is usually great but with several rides out of service and a 15-20 min wait at 4 separate rides that needed to be taken out of service and tested it made for a frustrating experience with two small children. They just said come back later . This was our 5th visit but this time was our least favorite . Over crowded, rides and individual cars out of service and a staff shortage made it a disappointing day . Like I said this place can be great . I hope they step it up .

Disaster

Came for a rare day off as a treat for my daughters. Getting into the mall/parking/lines was an hour long experience. The elevator from rooftop parking was broken. We carried the stroller down the stairs. Getting into the park was another nightmare even though we prepaid. Lines to every elevator. To check in etc. Then once in the lines for the rides we’re really insanity. We did two rides that lasted 90 seconds each in 3 hours. The ride attendants were nice but took forever. Many rides were closed completely. We left and the mall food experience had too long lines as well. Toys r us was jammed. Left and then there was a line of unmoving cars to exit the parking lot!!no assistance whatsoever. We waited 2 hours before cars started moving! We called the police who said they were aware of the situation and has sent troopers to assist. Overall disaster of an experience. I tried calling customer service the next day. Couldn’t get thru to anyone and left a voicemail. Did not receive a return call.

Very crowded

Way too crowded during holidays weekend. Understaffed, lines moved so slow. Rode 2 kiddie rides in 3 hours. Very disappointed.

Poorly run park

This place has all the potential it in the world and fails miserably due to poor management. Long wait times because they don’t fill the seats. Several rides down for maintenance, at all times. It’s nice that you can buy single rides using “ points” and that you can enter the park without a ticket and just watch the kids.
