Great trip

Booked this trip at the last minute after arranging flights to Delhi. We arrived at 0230 in the morning where our driver was waiting to transport us to Agra for the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. Everything ran like clockwork. It was well organised and our tour guide was brilliant at getting us in and around the Taj Mahal for the best views at sunrise. The day ended with us being transported back to Delhi for a few hours of free time.

Great ride with guide through Taj Mahal

The ride was pretty good. Driver Naval was really friendly and good driving. We could play our own music and he drove us also within Agra from shop to shop, on top of that he helped us take some photos. Really good experience, if I book again I would be happy if he is available. We booked on short notice. We got a Whats App late night that there is no German guide available. The company offered us an English guide instead. At Taj Mahal we then got to know wasim khan, our guide. He was full of positive energy and made our trip interesting and informative. He could provide us all details regarding the monuments and took good pictures. Also here I would recommend him. The part to improve on is about the lunch buffet. It’s an all you can “eat”. So all drinks, including water needed to be paid by ourselves. This should at least be shown more visible.

Great day in Agra thanks to Prem and Zahid

A fantastic day in Agra with great service. Prem arrived early for pick up and allowed us to have a very comfortable journey with good conversations and music. Zahid was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and able to explain and answer questions clearly. Also turned out to be a great photographer which was a bonus. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to do a day trip to Agra especially in the company of Prem and Zahid.

Prem is the best driver

Our driver, Prem, showed up right on time and was very professional and safe. We met the guide in Agra and he quickly got us in the side gate and into the magnificent Taj Mahal. The photographers were not necessary because in addition to our guide being very knowledgeable, he was also great at taking photos. In all, it was an enjoyable and efficient day.

A top-notch Agra Tour

It was an excellent tour. Akash helped us arrange everything to our liking and made sure we had an enjoyable time. Deepak was a very good driver, actually arrived early and helped us navigate Agra. We never had to wait long for him to take us from place to place. Wasim was an excellent tour guide, always made sure we knew where to go and helped us navigate not just the sites but also the throngs of people trying to sell us things we didn't want. We would definitely recommend them and are considering when our next trip with them will be.

Transportation from Delhi and Taj visit

Akash arranged my transportation from Delhi and visit to Agra fort and Taj Mahal. He responded very promptly and everything was smooth. Akash was also the tour guide in Agra. an amazing day

super easy organization via whatsup, picked up at my hotel in Gurgaon (Delhi), clean car and great driver (Prem was his name!). We arrived in Agra and I met Akash, my guide. All went literally perfect, no queues, good explanations but not too heavy to follow. We visited Taj, Agra foort and the baby Taj. Also an extra small wak in the local market. I didn't booked the lunch, trying to enjoy the most the visits.

Great experience

The tour was excellent! We chose the pickup time at the Delhi airport and he came on time. The guide, Kashif is an excellent tour guide who knows a lot about the culture and he knows perfect Spanish. He even took us amazing pictures as he know the great spots. I highly recommend this tour company.

It was an amazing experience! The driver was punctual at the airport and the guide Kasif was very nice with us! He has explained everything very well and he speaks Spanish very well! If I came back I would repeat with them!

Awesome trip, zero hassle.

I booked this tour and where absolutely impressed. My driver was Prem and he drove ver fine from Delhi to Agra, right on schedule and very informative on Delhi, Agra and all the things along the way. We stopped to grab a coffee, always attentive. In the tour to Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Baby Taj - Akash was my guide. Super knowledgeable, let me took my pace, answered my questions and helped me took excellent photos and he is a great photographer, really knows the angles for all this places. Also a very pleasant person (both of them) I really enjoyed the trip and I absolutely recommend them for this tour. Never had to make a line for anything.

Great experience. Everyone was helpful and kind. This is an amazing tour. My guide Smith was knowledgeable and hands down he is the best photographer in Agra. My driver prem was amazing too. Took me from New Delhi to Agra with great conversation and made whatever stops I requested along the way. Amazing team and quite patient. I know because I was late and they still took me on an amazing tour.

Excellent guide for amazing tour

Akash was an amazing tour guide for this tour of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj. His organisation of the day was excellent, arranging pickup from our hotel in Delhi, train tickets to Agra and all the entrance fees. He was an excellent story teller of interesting facts about each site, without overloading with too much information by giving us time to enjoy the views. This tour was the best way to visit these sites without needing to worry about anything ourselves!

The best day tour to the Taj Mahal!!

Akash was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better guide to organise our day tour. He was very responsive before the tour and answered any questions we had. During the tour he provided so much interesting information and explained everything in such a great way. The drivers we had were also wonderful and very kind, sharing a lot of information about themselves which was really interesting. All the three spots on the tour (Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj) were brilliant and the lunch spot was delicious - overall we had a super day and couldn't recommend this tour more highly!

The Best Private Tours, Excursions & Drivers in India

Akash from Akbran tours is a superstar. Very responsive (he works around the clock). Very flexible in customising excursions to cater for individual needs. I wanted to visit some locations that were out of the usual itinerary and he accommodated without hesitation. Reasonably priced. Has the best English speaking tour guides and drivers around. Very reliable, a lovely guy and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

Great tour for quick 24 hours

Our driver Prem was great! We chatted about his life in India and he shared some religion and personal life experiences as well as India as a whole. The car was very clean and he was always prompt and gave us silent time as well which was nice. Sandeep was our guide and was also very knowledgeable and prompt throughout the tours. He also took awesome pictures of us which is a great bonus (he knew all the great spots). After tours we visited some “working shops” that included rugs, jewelry, and pietra dura . it was great to learn all about the 3 arts from makers themselves. However, after each experience we were shown pieces for sale under pressure. Sandeep told us we didn’t need to buy anything but the sales tactics were a bit aggressive that made us uncomfortable. That’s the only downside we found of the experience, but you don’t need to do it if you crack under sales pressure easily (I did, and it cost me $320 USD for a beautiful 2x3’ rug).

Fabulous trip to the Taj - everything included .

The trip to the Taj was amazing . Sandeep and Prim were fantastic guides . Sandeep taught us all about the history of the Taj and the meaning of the marble and stones . Prim was a great driver and picked up up promptly . My friend and I would highly recommend .

I strongly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Agra. Akash is a true Agra local and an excellent tour guide. He was very punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and he had a great sense of humor. He was very patient and responsive to our queries prior the trip, and he customized a day tour in Agra according to our wishes. He showed us the Taj Mahal during sunrise, followed by the Agra Fort and Baby Taj. He also arranged another tour guide for us in Fatehpur Sikri. Moreover, he arranged our transportation and entrance tickets. Akash is a great story teller, he explained us about Mughal history, Hindu and Islam religions, and Agra culture. He is also an excellent photographer (good Taj Mahal photos guaranteed). A huge plus point is that he didn’t force any “shopping” on us as in other tours. He only recommended me a couple of worthwhile shops (one jewellery store and one marble manufacturer, I wanted to visit both and now highly recommend). Once we were in the shops, he waited outside and put zero pressure. Our driver Mustak was a very friendly, punctual and polite person. He picked us up and dropped us off in Delhi, as well as drove us around in Agra the whole day. His car was clean and comfortable, he made sure we stayed hydrated by offering us bottled water very often, and he treated us some superb tea in the morning. We had nice conversations and he gave us some great tips for our next days in India. If you are visiting Agra, Akash and Mustak are the perfect duo.

Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is iconic. Learned about its architecture and history. The Agra Fort was also very interesting. Raj my tour guide was knowledgeable and considerate.

What a fantastic day! Ticking off a must do bucket list experience. What a pleasure it was dealing with Akbran Tours. I watsaped them to confirm our hotel and pick up time and they stayed in contact over watsap to send us our drivers details etc. Our driver Prem was so knowledgeable and friendly and was ready and waiting at 2:30am for us so that we could make it to the Taj in time for sunrise. Prem also stopped and got us a delicious cup of Indian tea at a roadside market on the way and it was served in beautiful clay cups. I highly recommend going early, as by the time we were leaving it started getting quite busy. Our tour guide Sandeep was a wealth of knowledge about the sites and history. He is also a fantastic photographer - he was directing us how to sit / stand etc to get the best pictures. And we are so grateful to him for all the beautiful photographs that he took capturing our amazing day! Overall we just had the best day! If you are looking for a good reliable tour guide and company definitely book with this team! Thank you for some wonderful memories and may tourists return soon so you are busy again. Just a heads up if anyone suggests stopping at any shops after the tour - go and have a look as it’s really interesting to see marble inlay making and jewelry etc but don’t be caught by heavily inflated prices - use google while in store to check the real value ;) we even found that hotel shops in India have really good prices and our hotel offered a 50% discount to guests making goods much more affordable…

Wonderful Five Day Trip With an Experienced, Amazing Guide

Our first tour with Akbran Tours was so great that we ended up booking a second trip with this group (specifically, a 5 day tour from Agra --> Gwalior --> Bharatpur --> Ajmer). Our guide, Mustaq, was so good at his job that I was amazed. First of all, he significantly added to the quality of our trip by making fantastic suggestions for where we should eat and what we should see. Secondly, in terms of driving ability, he was perhaps the best and safest driver that I've ever been in a car with. At one point, I joked that his reflexes are so good and his turns so smooth that he must have been a professional racecar driver in another life. Finally, Mustaq also prioritized our safety and well being. To offer one anecdote: there was a point during the trip where I had forgotten to put on my seat belt in the front seat. Mustaq noticed right away, and he politely but firmly reminded me to do so. When I thanked him for looking out for me, he said 'you three are my guests, and your safety is a top responsibility for me.' Moments like these throughout the trip reminded me that we were truly blessed to have Mustaq as our guide for this trip. He was a masterful host, and he is also a truly awesome man to boot.

Definitely worth the price!

We loved that the tour guide took us around to some of the craftsman shops, like the family’s who made the rugs and marble decorations for the Taj Mahal. Really amazing experience! Definitely a must if you plan to go to Agra. It saves time and energy to make sure the experience you’re getting is authentic and informative. Sandeep was our tour guide, and he was wonderful! He took many photos of us as well.

A fantastic time exploring historic Agra.

Meeting the artists and craftspeople using historical methods to make works and preserve the authenticity of the Taj mahal. Sandeep was extremely knowledgable and so friendly. Definitely would recommend him. Prem was exceptionally professional and fun to chat with during the drive to Agra.

Absolutely fantastic day! Akash was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgable with fluent English. He was personable and knew where all the good photo points were! Quick turnaround and as planned

I choose the 3 AM departing time from my hotel and Ravi was promptly there to start our trip. The road was clear and he drove smooth enough that I could take a nice nap for most of the time. We stopped to get some tea and stretchy our legs mid way which I appreciated. We met Sandeep, in Agra on time. He was very knowledgeable not only about the history but the stories about what each part of the fort was used for. Walking with him around The Taj added to the experience. Everything went as planned time wise and expectations wise with a lovely breakfast at the Marriot. There are optional visits to artisan shops, there is no push to buy things but they are selling so be comfortable with saying no if you don’t want it. I went to the marble shop and the carpet shop where they explained their craft in an engaging way and I appreciated learning about it. I did end up buying a small rug and some pants 😂

Akash organised transport from Delhi to Agra and then took us on a tour which included a dawn visit to the Taj Mahal, a visit to the baby Taj, the Agra Fort, and Mehtabh Bagh. Akash speaks perfect english and teaches history so has a wealth of knowledge of the history of the monuments and also of modern India. Akash was very skilled in navigating the crowds and knowing the spots to get the best photos. Akash was extremely good at keeping us informed re pick up times and changes to the schedule due to the weather. We had a wonderful tour. Excellent experience, can’t wait to go back!

First, my driver Prem was the best!!! He was patient during pick up , as I had woken up late due to jetlag from landing a few hours before. Then he was very pleasant and polite, as well as being very knowledgeable about anything I asked him. It was an enjoyable comfortable air conditioned ride all the way to Agra. The tour guide was great as well. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and all of its history. He made sure to guide me on the correct path as to adhere to my preferences for the tour(quick walk through, no hassles), and was also very pleasant. I will definitely be booking another tour, so next time I can make sure I get to see and experience everything that the Taj Mahal and Agra have to offer!
