Amazing Taj Mahal Adventure

My guide Khalid Ali was very friendly, informative and also made sure I skipped the lines and got to where I needed to go fast and efficiently. He also recommended spots for pictures and was happy to take pictures of me when I requested. The pickup from the hotel and getting into the train was done well and it eliminated any guess work from my part which is what I was looking for which was a seamless experience. Salman was also a great driver.

A day in Agra, Taj and Redfort and more

This trip has been thought thought we'll by Pioneer from start to finish. Contact with Pioneer before the trip even started was friendly, clear and swift. They puck us from the hotel on time and took us to the train station, walked us to the correct platform waited with us and made sure we were in correct seats. The train journey was comfortable just over 2 hours long. We were met by Shaan our guide for the day at the platform we arrived on, he knew us because they had already sent a photo of us so he could spot us. Warm geeting gave us some tips on what to do and not to do and then took us to the car where we met Parkash our driver for the day. Shaan was a prefect guide keeping us informed all day, taking us to very good photo opportunity spots, even taking photos of us altogether, giving us options on what we wanted to do. Took us for toilet breaks at nice hotels if we needed them. We had lunch at the Hikton double tree which was a welcome break only because of mid day sun. I would recommend you adk for Shaan, because he went above and beyond. The Taj it slef was stunning and no amount of photos will do it justice, if you have the chance once in life take this tour. We had a great time, Shaan and Parkash took us back to the train station, again waited with us at the platform and made sure we were seated on the train and happy before the train left and then back in Delhi the same driver met us on the platform and took us back to the hotel. A long day just over 12 hours from start to finish but a day I won't forget, thank Shaan and Pioneer

Brilliant day trip to Agra and the Taj Mahal

We had a brilliant tour to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and baby Taj today with Shaan (tour guide) and Prakash (driver) from Pioneer Travel. We were in a group of 4, the trip to Agra included pick up from our hotel in Delhi to the railway station, where we the driver guided us onto our seats on the train. Shaan and Prakash met us from the train at Agra and took over the tour from there. Nothing was too much, Prakash presented us with flower garlands which was so thoughtful, made us feel special and scented the car for the whole day. Shaan was extremely courteous and knowledgeable throughout, answering every question we could muster. We decided not to take up the option of a professional photographer at the Taj Mahal hiwever, Shaan was brilliant at recommending the best positions to take photos from and offering to take photos of our party at specific spots so we ended up with a plethera of great photos to back up our memories, most of which look like we had the place to ourselves. We would highly recommend Shaan, Prakash and the team at Pioneer Travel. They were brilliant, they obviously work as a great team and provided an effortless and highly enjoyable experience.

A perfect day at the Taj Mahal

As part of our travels in India we wanted to see the Taj Mahal but didn’t want a long drive to get there from Delhi. I found this trip on the express train to Agra had excellent reviews so we booked it. The whole trip was amazing. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the station. We were escorted to our seats on the train to make sure we were happy before leaving Delhi. As soon as we got off the train in Agra our guide Shaan was waiting and he quickly got us through the station into a car driven by Pakrash. First stop was The Taj Mahal and the very knowledgeable Shaan gave us a great tour full of really interesting information. He took some great pictures for us that we will always treasure and he prepared us fully for the Taj Mahal so we could just walk straight in without queuing. Afterwards we went for a lovely lunch at the doubletree by Hilton followed by a tour of the Red Fort (where we were able to skip the long queues and get straight in) and then to see the Baby Taj. We were safely put back on the train from Agra to Delhi and collected outside the train for our trip back to the hotel. This was a perfect day that was a big bucket list tick. I would recommend anyone to visit the Taj this way with the fantastic Shaan and Pakrash, you could not wish for a better guide and driver. Thank you so much for making the day so special

Absolutely amazing experience

First of all, driver drives safely, stop by at a nice and clean service center. Then picked up Azhar guide in Agra. Azhar is a fantastic, warmly, knowledgeable guide, who would go extra mile to provide the best service and experiences. Skipped the line as planned, finding perfect spot for photo and video is a bonus, explain the history stories in detail. Also, nice arrangement for lunch to save valuable time so that we can spent more time in the Taj and fort. If I were to choose again, no doubt Azhar is the name.

Amazing Tour!

My tour guide, Shakir did a fantastic job. He gave us interesting facts about the history of Agra and was super knowledgeable. I felt at ease throughout the entire tour. He also helped us take beautiful photos for memories. High recommendable!

Excellent day in Agra!

The day was fantastic.Faizan was very communicative before the tour and Moon was an excellent guide. It was an easy, hassle free day. I highly recommend this as a day tour to see the Taj Mahal from Delhi.

Awesome experience

The driver, Usman, was very kind and considerate throughout the drive. The guide, Adil Khan, had excellent Japanese language skills and was knowledgeable about every place we visited. I was glad to learn a lot about Agra.

We had the tour "From Delhi: Taj Mahal Sunrise and Agra Fort Tour by Car". Ajay was our driver. He picked us up at the hotel during the night in order to be at Taj Mahl by sunrise. Not only he's very professional, but also very kind and friendly. He always made sure we were feeling comfortable and safe during our journey. Moon was our guide at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Very knowledgeable and full of small secrets that made us appreciate even more the already stunning monuments, he also made sure that we wouldn't leave Agra without having the right amount of pictures that we'll be for us a priceless memory in the future. The transport to Agra and back was done professionally and pleasantly. Touring the Taj Mahal was a top event. The management of the entire tour was done with a high level of historical knowledge and carried out with compassion, respect and helpfulness. Immensely grateful for an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful tour

Excellent experience with Ali. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to speak with. Taj Mahal was incredible. Unfortunately the train was down for the week, but a driver was provided instead. We really enjoyed our day and highly recommend a tour with Ali!

Excellent Sightseeing, Beware Shopping

Azhar was incredibly helpful with getting through lines, taking amazing professional photos, and being very knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort! I would absolutely rate the sightseeing aspect 10/10. But when we had finished early at the Fort, I was told we were making a stop at a store selling marble goods: I didn't ask for this, and it turned out to be an extremely pushy tourist trap. I would've appreciated not being put into that uncomfortable situation.

A fantastic day out

Our driver Sumit was very professional. He dealt with both the morning fog and busy, wet Delhi roads in the evening with great driving. We met our guide Moon in Agra and really appreciated the depth of his knowledge of the history, architecture and religious symbolism of both the Taj Mahal and Afra Fort. We found his enthusiasm to be infectious. He was so helpful on what to expect at both venues. An interesting day!

Driver Raj & Guide Shakir were 5 stars! We started at 7:30 am & were able to see it all & get back to our hotel at 8 pm. They were friendly & knowledgeable & Shakir was a great photographer who gave us some great memories. Highly recommend this day tour.

Great tour!!!

We did the Agra tour (Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj) - car + guide - with Azad Abbas and we recommend it! He was very knowledgeable, always keen to answer our questions and to give us more information - which we really appreciated. The driver was also super nice and professional. Nice car too. Overall a really good experience. Would pick them again :) For information, they took us to two stores, one of marble and another of embroidery/jewlery. I think this stop is company policy, but the sellers were respectful. The lunch restaurant recommended by the company was also ok. Very clean.

Enjoyable visit to the Taj Mahal

Pickup from New Delhi was on time, and the driver negotiated his way through the awful India traffic and fog safely. We met our guide at Agra, who proved to be a fountain of information about the sites and answered all our (many) questions. He managed the situation of the lingering mist well, getting us to the best photo points late in our visit when the mist was least dense. The Taj Mahal was head and shoulders above the other monuments we visited in India; a wonderful sight. Agra Fort was very interesting, making up for our inability to visit the similar (the guide said) Red Fort in Delhi (closed for Republic Day practice). The traffic and my many questions meant we couldn’t get to Little Taj before it closed - but that was a minor add-on. We had an excellent time, thanks to the guide and driver. The day’s only hiccup was that the lunch provided at a major hotel was an awful experience due to the Indian Government’s decision to celebrate the opening of a new temple by punishing foreigners by denying them meat and alcohol for the day - but that of course was not our tour’s fault. Then back safely to Delhi to be dropped off by the car. Tip: think about timing. January was surprisingly cold and (I now know) mostly foggy. The guide said April is the right time, before it gets too hot.

Taj & Agra Fort Tour

Initially we had issues with flight delays and weren’t able to make the agreed date. Pioneer were so accommodating with rescheduling, and picking us up from a different location. It was an easy transition and we had a lovely driver Ajay, who kept us safe and stopped every time someone needed to use the restroom or get a snack. Our tour guide Hyder Ali was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Also an amazing photographer too, managing the crowds to make sure we were happy with all of our pictures. Overall the whole day was seamless, being three young ladies we felt safe, would definitely recommend them to anyone travelling to see the Taj and Agra Fort.

It was a long drive but worth it! My driver and guide were excellent, cordial, caring and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour. I went solo and felt safe and looked after the entire time.
