Thoroughly enjoyable temple tour

We enjoyed our tour with Mr. Dilip Singh. He is truly an excellent tour guide. He has a vast knowledge of the history of India, he does a great job of explaining the religious significance of each of the temples we visited. He answered our many questions about Hinduism, Sikhs,Jains, Muslims and how these groups all interact in modern India. He . Also has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Mr. Singh for the spiritual temple tour of Delhi.

Temple ‘tastic tour

Dilip our guide was great. Personable and informative. Our driver Mr Singh worked his way through the Delhi traffic remarkably well. Good mix of six temples with enough time at each to marvel at.

Wonderful tour, and some comments

We tour Delhi for two full days with this company. Most important: DRIVER (K. K. Sharma) SAFE, PLEASANT AND COMPETENT; he manouvered the insane trafific calmly and effectively. GUIDE: (Ravindra Singh) POLITE, PLEASANT, WELL INFORMED, ELOQUENT, SERVICE MINDED. Answered all our questions which not always pertained to what we viewed but rather to life in India in general. Overall, very good tour. Excellent. Two suggestions: (1) for two days in a row we were taken to lunch to the same good restaurant. Not an imaginative plan. (2) Out of ignorance, we evidently tipped at the end below the guide's expectations. He left us with a sour face, which affected the way we've felt about the time spent together. As a suggestion, perhaps he could have said something rather than feeling offended and letting this project. Thanks for a wonderful introduction to Delhi.

They can improve!

Hi! It was nice, Vicky is a very nice people, however, to be honest, his English was poor (I don't want to be rude, because he is very nice person) but was difficult understand him ☹️

Excellent sites, poor service

I would give this a one star, but the sites they picked were quite excellent and interesting. The tour guide was more going through the motions and didn't know the answers to a lot of my questions. He was friendly enough but wasn't really all that interested in getting to know me. I mean it's not a requirement to get to know your customers but it does make the experience all that much better when you get to know a local and that local takes an interest in where you're from. The tour guide didn't even introduce himself when I got in the car and I eventually had to ask him his name. At lunch he sat me down and said that he had to take a phone call and that he would meet me in the car later. I took a tour with another company the day before and the guide ate lunch with me. It was one of the best experiences because I could ask him more questions and get to know the culture from a local. I was disappointed that he didn't even want to eat lunch and extend the experience. I also would've appreciate a warning that the tour wouldn't take very long on a Sunday. The traffic was lighter than usual and so the tour ended 6 hours earlier than I expected (at 1 PM instead of 7 PM). I was very unsatisfied I was with the driver (not the tour guide) for this tour. He handed me the customer satisfaction survey at the end of the tour. I was honest with my assessment so I didn't feel comfortable giving it back to the driver or the tour guide until I was out of the car. The rating of "5 very good" was not what I experienced. It wasn't terrible but was more average. I didn't have anything to complain about as far as the driving but nothing was extraordinary about the driving experience either. Therefore, I should have given a "3 average". However, I put a "4 good" because I was feeling generous. After I filled out the survey the driver and I were alone and he asked for me to give him the survey. I did not feel comfortable giving it to him until I got out of the car. He demanded that I give him the survey. I didn't want confrontation so I gave him the survey. He pull it out of the plastic sleeve while driving, which made me feel unsafe, and then said, "4's! Why not 5's. You give me 5's". I told him no and that it was inappropriate for him to be looking at that while he was driving, while I was still in the car and to be pressuring me to give him a better rating. If he had given back the survey I would have given him 0's after that experience. I recommend going through A plus tours. They were much better and way more professional than these guys! These guys are just looking to make a buck, not provide an experience.

<p>The tour was incomplete. They díd not take us to all the temples in the itinerary. They took us to a shop we dont know why and what for. Speaking spanish guide was TERRIBLE and very unpreparated. Guide was not polite. Was always in a hurry, trying to finísh, I guess they are tired of going to same temple again and again and dont think how much effort takes for us to take this vacations and fullfilt these Dreams. I hardly NOT RECOMEND THIS TOUR. my money was NOT well spend. So sad.</p>

<p>It was my first time in India, and my colleague and I decided to do the all-day tour of the Sacred Temples. It was really amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provide wonderful history, insight and context around each temple and the religions that founded them. You stay in Delhi so the trip is very manageable. Lunch is also included in the cost, plus the guide stops at a government sanctioned craft store for anyone that wants to pick up gifts. Frankly, the store is grossly overpriced in my opinion and the merchants are a bit pushy I'd recommend the Khan market instead for your shopping needs.. Bottom line: I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in temples in Delhi. I plan to return to India in a few months and will be planning another tour through this company, without question.</p>

<p>I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New Delhi. We were fortunate to have a young man to lead our tour. He was extremely informative and knowledgeable of all the areas we visited. Extremely prompt, and explained each temple to us in full detail and when each temple was visited, informed us of the next temple. He did not rush us through the sites and took pictures for us along the way. After the final temple, At the end of the day, I asked to also stop at the Sacred Heart Cathedral and this was accommodated as well. <p>This was an excellent tour with a great guide. Prashant was very knowledgeable and peppered the information he gave us with stories and a few jokes. It's wise to get a good night's sleep before because there will be a good amount of walking and listening to do, but it is definitely worth it! Those who really like learning about the history and culture of the sites will enjoy this tour the most, but probably anyone would enjoy these sights and the experience. We had a terrific time and found it very worthwhile.</p>
