Epic Taj Tour

Omkar was an EXCELLENT driver, was on time, clean car, and fantastic and safe driving to Agra from Delhi. I met my tour guide Praveen (Rocky) at the 5 star hotel (Trident) and we left to Taj. Praveen (Rocky), my guide was an AMAZING…he knew ALL the photo spots, was incredibly knowledgeable of all the history and architecture of the Taj. I have a roll of epic pics and video, and the Taj itself cannot be missed by ANY traveler. He made sure I got all the pics I wanted and free of any tourists in pics!!! lol. Breakfast at the hotel was phenomenal as well, and much needed after the early morning travel. Private guide and driver is the ONLY way to travel to the Taj!!!!

This was the best part of my India trip. Our guide Hapna was the best! She explained history and background of monuments thoroughly. She also knew photo perfect spots. She took our pictures like an professional photographer. It was terrific tour. I strongly recommend this one.

Dream day in Agra

Wow, just WOW 😍

I have been treated to a gem of a day! Second day in a row with the same driver (kk sharma) who picked me up at the door of my hotel. The guide made sure we arrived before the big crowd was there and helped me take pictures and memories which will last a life time! I visited Taj Mahal and Fort Agra which both were beautiful! Thanks to Praveen (my guide) I now also know the story behind those majestic buildings! I have been blessed with an experience like this and would highly recommend to have these guys arrange the trip for you, you dont need to worry about anything and just enjoy the experience and views!

as good as it gets

absolutely an amazing tour of taj mahal, red fort, and a taste of agra along the way. arun my guide ,has forgot more about the agra destinations than most guides know. my driver, sceny, probably spelled it wrong, kept me on time and safe, amongst all the mayhem that driving in india entails. great guys who are the consumate professionals, with happy, funny personalities. If you get them on your tour, consider yourself extremely lucky!

Trip was great - KK was a great driver and Rocky was excellent guide around Taj Mahal and Agra Fort - they also both helped navigate around tourist traps and shared great local context.

We truly enjoyed our Agra Tour! Our tour guide, Rajni Kant is very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the places we visited. He also made sure that we were comfortable and that we were safe. Kudos also to our driver Anil for taking care of us and making sure that we arrive safely at our destinations.

Agra Education

Vijay was informative and personable. He shared many details about the places we visited and stories about the people who lived there. He also included little extras -for example the stone details at the Taj Mahal I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We also enjoyed the craftsman stop where we learned about how tapestries and marble carving were actually made. In addition he told us about every day life in India.

Best way to see Agra

We had a great guide Vijay. He was extremely knowledgeable and witty. Kept us completely entertained the whole day. The only way of improvement was to have him step in when the beggars and store shop owners kept hounding us. I would highly recommend using him to see Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Taj Mahal Day Trip

As a solo traveler this day tour is fantastic. My driver Mr Omkar made the journey from Delhi to Agra a breeze. I had the wonderful Arun as my tour guide and he was so knowledgeable. I throughly enjoyed learning about the history of these majestic sights. Highly recommend!

An amazing day visiting Agra

After ten years between visits to India I finally made it to the Taj Mahal! I was on a work trip and not comfortable to travel by myself as a solo woman in India all the way from Delhi to Agra so was very happy to find this private tour. Both my driver, Omkar, and guide, Rajni were fantastic and looked after me very well. Rajni was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort which was fantastic. I'm not usually a tour person and prefer to do things myself but of course in this situation felt it a good idea and am so glad I did it as it was fantastic to learn so much about the sites and not just view them... I would definitely recommend this tour!

What a terrific day !

My wife and I booked this journey to celebrate my birthday. Booking was a breeze. For the trip from Delhi to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise, Mr. Omkar, our chauffeur for the day, arrived punctually at a hotel near Connaught Circle. A smooth and safe ride with the care Mr. Omkar took navigating traffic from Delhi to Agra. Upon arrival, Mr. Praveen met us and guided us through visiting themTaj, explaining the history and the unique architecture of the monument, Agra fort and demonstrations by artisans in the hand loom, marble, tapestry industries. Mr. Praveen expertly guided us through avoiding throngs of street vendors. My wife and I had a wonderful day, with so many memories to keep forever.

Unimpressed

My friend and I booked this tour as we had heard that sunrise tours of the Taj Mahal were the best option if booking a day trip from Delhi. Our driver was prompt when picking us up, however he drove 140kms the entire way to Agra. This would’ve been manageable, however we could see in the rear view mirror he began falling asleep about 30 minutes into the drive. We had to keep talking to him so he didn’t fall asleep. We picked up the tour guide when we got to Agra, who was nice enough, he took some nice photos of us. After we had seen Agra fort and Taj Mahal the driver and tour guide took us to a carpet shop. They disappeared into a back room, presumably to sit with their friends, and left us to be ‘shown how to make carpet’ for an hour. This turned out to be extremely pushy carpet sales, an item we had no intention of buying in the first place. This made us super uncomfortable. We asked to leave and the driver and tour guide suggested we visit two more shops, not wanting a repeat experience we declined and asked to be taken home to Delhi (3 hours early). We dropped the tour guide off at a hotel which clearly had a partnership with our guide and driver - at which point the guide asked me friend to write a review on the spot, he wouldn’t let us leave until my friend had completed the review. This was extremely uncomfortable. He then forced us to leave a tip for him even though we’d paid $150+ for this tour each. Overall, giving it a 2 star rating because the Taj Mahal is incredible, but I would not recommend this tour. Being put in uncomfortable positions did ultimately take away from the experience of seeing the Taj Mahal for the first time. Look for a different tour operator if you want to see the Taj at sunrise.

A must try!! Best ever trip!!

We had the best and safest experience booking through viator... Both our guide Arun and driver Sonu was so friendly and helpful.... We had no issues what so ever at any time.. The journey was so pleasant and joyful... We were just two girls and they made feel safe at all times!!

Taj and Agra Fort visit

Had a lovely day in Agra - my driver KK Sharma picked me up from my hotel in Delhi at 3am. Drove to Agra making a stopover at a service station for a lovely masala tea. It must be a favourite stopover as we met several other people heading to see the Taj Mahal My tour guide in Agra was Rajnikant - he is amazingly knowledgeable about Agra. He brought the experience of visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort to life. I would recommend asking for him in person if you are planning to book via Viator.

Excellent experience, highly recommended.

Getting there early is highly recommended, you beat most of the crowds, it’s still cool and best of all, you get to watch the morning light change on the Taj Mahal. A magical place. Our guide, Rajnikant, was exceptional. Clearly knew his history, and pointed out so many details of the building and design that we would have otherwise missed which greatly added to the experience, while at the same time giving plenty of free time to explore on our own. Our driver Hari, was amazing, it is a long drive… and that traffic…. ! The tour also covers the Red Fort, which the second most significant structure in Agra and well worth visiting. Breakfast was top notch. We also visited several government sponsored artisan establishments. Very educational. If you are looking for that special souvenir from your trip to India, you might find something here to your liking. We did.

Fantastic views

Absolutely worth the early wake up to see the Taj at sunrise. You beat the crows and the views are stunning. The driver was on time and was very polite and they guide was knowledgeable and super kind. Breakfast was also quite good. My only complain is that they were trying to push a bit to hard on the crafts "tour" to purchase stuff. Some of the stops were very interesting and you indeed learn a bit about the techniques and craftsmanship, but others just felt like they were pushing you to buy stuff.

Amazing Experience with Nikita Holidays Crew for our Delhi Agra Tour . It started off with Sonu (Driver) picking us from our hotel and smooth drive to Taj Mahal. Reached at 5:45 am greeted by Mr Rajni Kant (Tour Guide) @ Trident with refreshments. Our day started off from there, Mr Rajni Kant our guide was exemplary simply taking us through the mesmerizing Taj Mahal views and narrating all the history of it place to place . He was simply superb to the attention of details. Just wealth of knowledge he has about was amazing . We took beautiful pics and started our Trips to Marble place, Agra Fort then Handicraft shops with stops for Lunch and Snacks. Mr Rajni Kant kept us engaging throughout . We wrapped up trip in the evening with Sonu driving us back . One of the best tours organized by Nikita Holidays. I strongly would recommend to all . On my comeback tours I’ll certainly look and ask for Mr Rajni Kant and Sonu with Nikita Holidays .

Great guide but the ride was exhausted

The Guide Mahesh was very informative and a very good photographer! I will recommend this for the guide only! However, driving at 2:30 from Delhi to Agra was very exhausting. I recommend to arrive the day before to enjoy Taj Mahal to the fullest.

Tour guide will introduce you to super expensive photographer. Driver will take you to 5 different shops to experience high pressure sales. Driver will provide tablet and ask several times to complete/5-Star trip advisor review.

Never Would have missed this for anything

Always wanted to visit this iconic place. I was really worried that i would not be able to see the place properly. Also I am not a person who just go there to click photos. I like to learn the history. I am glad I choose them as it really worth it. I learn so much and they took care of the whole trip and it was the perfect romanic trip ever.

Wonderful Experience

We booked a sunrise private tour from Delhi....early start at 2.30am, but we slept in the car and to experience seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise was just fantastic. We had a fabulous guide, Mr Tony, who is also a fantastic photographer! Manik our driver, got us there and back to our hotel safely.

Enjoyable Journey Taj Mahal Tour with Car and Driver for Us

Everything was Good and enjoyable with the tour!!! Tour was started in early morning from Delhi City. A well maintained chauffeur welcome us as per our chosen spot in delhi. Sitting and relaxed in Car he started our journey from Delhi to Agra. In route we wish to take a break for 5 minutes, he asked us for Kullad Chai, that was really amazing experience. He was speaking unformed speaking chauffeur that we never think about that before our journey. In Agra, Our Tour guide made us very special! Very professional, thoughtful, helpful, the best photographer in the world and really passionate about Taj Mahal, Agra and his country. He provided us with so many interesting facts about the Taj Mahal and explained a lot of the history and story of the Taj Mahal. A holiday full of happiness

It was a hilarious journey when I took the best decision to book my tour on TripAdvisor. Obviously, I got a good deal with discounts. Last week, on march 4,early by 4 AM, we started the journey from Delhi by Taxi seeing some beautiful scenery coming in way and reached agara and at the best time when sun was about to rise and witnessed a totally different Taj Mahal at Sunrise. It was memorable tour wity my Family and it always bring smile Remember that.

Great day trip to the Taj Mahal (and Agra)

Vishan was a very accommodative driver. Our flight was delayed by an hour and it was no problem for him to change the pickup time. The drive down to Agra/Taj Mahal was very smooth. Tony was our tour guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and provided great insight into the history. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Sunrise and Smiles

My sister and I were picked up by car in New Delhi and got to nap in the car on the way to the Taj Mahal for the sunrise. Our guide was Rocky and he was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He knew were should stand for the best lighting and took my phone to snap candid pictures of my sister and me. We got to go to whatever shops we wanted in town for other gifts to bring home. I was nervous about booking but so glad we took the chance on this experience.

Trip was super. Guide and driver were excellent. Private bus was clean with nice chairs. Pickup on time at our hotel 2:30 am and terrific guide Rocky tells everything. He was also very good in making a lot of pictures!!! Good food and enough time in Tash and Fort!

Great tour to see Agra and the Taj mahal from Delhi

Logistics were perfect. Driver was on time, 02:30 am pick up from the hotel in Delhi. Safe driver and really friendly person. Nice guide as well, explained a lot and took great pictures. Didn't rush too much. Always friendly and with a lot of knowledge. A quick visit in a marmor manufacturing place was the last stop, with the possibility to buy nice marmor souvenirs and even bigger pieces. Friendly people as well, no pressure to buy anything. Driver and guide were very friendly, which is the most important thing in my opinion. Recommended!

Prem and Rocky did a great job! Prem is as right on time to pick-me up at the hotel to ensure we made it to the Taj Mahal in time for sunrise! He was a great driver as it is not driving especially since a few roads closed for the President Trump visit. Rocky was a very personable guide who was knowledgeable and made sure I had the best pictures. I enjoyed his tour and all his tips. Breakfast at the Trident Hotel was delicious with lots of choices on their breakfast buffet. The only thing I was not fond of is going to the stores for a sales pitch under the pretenses of learning more about the Tree of Life and Gems. I would recommend This tour!

Sunrise Taj Mahal Day Trip

What a wonderful way to spend the morning. Sunrise at the Taj Mahal was nothing but spectacular. Our driver, Omkhar, was pleasant and professional the entire ride from Delhi to Agra and back. Tony, our tour guide in Agra, was outstanding. He is full of knowledge, charismatic and excellent with the camera. Totally recommend both for your next day trip from Delhi to Agra.

Impressive views of Taj Mahal

We read many reviews of people disliking the stops at shops, but we found them informative and there is no obligation to buy. We stopped at a carpet shop to see how handmade carpets are made. Another stop was at an inlaid marble shop (be sure to bargain if you decide to buy). Also, street vendors were not a big problem for us (they were there, but “just say no”). I searched for a working strategy for this throughout the day lastly discovered this marvel ??. Keep doing awesome, much appreciated Kumar explained in detail about Taj Mahal and Red fort of Agra. Time spent at each place of interest was adequate. Stops for breakfast, and souvenirs shopping. Overall very punctual, well organized tour package. It looks very good, the presentation is very important and you made it excellent. I congratulate you on your work and share it with all of us, keep it up. In a log time I was looking for something like this. Big thanks for this amazing and good working method. You are great like always Thanks for sharing it works 100% I recommended .

Amazing and highly recommended

I went on a business trip to India for two weeks but I decided to extend it to another week for some leisure time. What a fantastic time and thank god I stumbled upon Agra Day Tour from Delhi otherwise I wouldn't have had that high degree of comfort during the sunrise trip.
