Good tour, enjoyed the sights and the food was really nice and fresh, places we couldn’t have found ourselves. Would recommend! (Also definitely getting a tour is a good idea)

A taste of Old Delhi

Very friendly and knowledgeable guide took me round first to the food stalls then to the other parts of Chandhi Chowk. A couple of rickshaw rides are also included Got to try various street foods like parantha , samosa and jalebi Also went to the Sikh temple which was very interesting.

Food tasting spree

Good experience for people intrested in various food tasting. Local products, with the guidance of the expert. Highly recommend, I had a feel of authencity, very safe and well organised.

Well organised, with a perfect host

Driver was prompt and courteous so we arrived in a nice car, safely and on time. The rickshaw drivers work really hard in difficult circumstances, so thanks very much for that! Vickram was an excellent host for the food tour and also showed us many places of interest. We had only just arrived, so this was a great insight into the chaos of Delhi. The food was great and thanks to Vickram, we felt very safe eating and walking. Thanks!

Be Aware...

The Good: I appreciated the communication prior to the event. We both emailed and WhatsApp-ed each other a number of times confirming all the details. Being pick-upped at our hotel was a wonderful convenience, especially as we had only arrived in India several hours prior. Our driver was competent and navigated the wild streets of Delhi with precision and competence. Tasting the pani puri, samosas, sweet jalebis, and other unfamiliar foods under the supervision of a native Indian was fun. The Bad: Our guide seemed a bit inexperienced with Western tourists. At times he walked so quickly through Old Delhi I was truly concerned that someone in our group of 4 was going to get lost. He ignored my request to stop for water so we had no drinks to help alleviate the heat of some of the spicy foods. On the return to the hotel he continued to ask each one of us to give him a positive review -- right then and there. "I'll send you the link right now...did you do it? Are you done?" The pressure was unnecessary, unprofessional, and annoying. The stops at the spice shop and the rug shop were a waste of our time and clearly his way of forcefully pushing goods on us that we were not interested in purchasing. I would advise you to be very aware of what they are promising to make certain you experience it. I would also encourage you to be vocal and pushback when and if you are uncomfortable with the pace or coverage of the tour.

Wonderful gastronomy and environmental experience, lots of fun.

Vikram is a fantastic tour guide he really knows where to go and the best original foods to try. The Rikshaw and car driver Ashish were wonderful too. Everything we ate was from original recipes and authentic. Vikram's knowledge and humour made the trip lots of fun and we learnt a lot about Indian history. I felt very comfortable on this tour. Vikram was sensitive to my dietary needs and he was helpful to my friend and I.

Had the most fabulous time tasting all the delicious snacks along with great information from our guide Vikram. Our rickshaw driver was excellent and looked after us as well, a must do when in Delhi, one of our best experiences so far

Loved this tour , was booked really last minute , taxi came to pick us up and guide there to meet us - very friendly , knowledgeable lady guide and had a great tour and some lovely tastings ...thoroughly recommend !!

Must Try

The tour was very well organised from start to finish and was as described with transparency. Mr Mohit, the guide, was professional and courteous navigating through an unorganised chaos, old Delhi, in a rickshaw ride … My hats off to Mr Kumar , the driver, for his ability to drive in tranquility throughout the tour - he had never used his car horn once nor was beeped at in the entire trip - amazing! I would definitely recommend this tour not only ‘street’ food tasting but for the whole street level experience of it.

Tastes, Sights and Sounds of Old Delhi.

Tour was great. My Tour guide was informative, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He did it all with a smile. Thank you GG for the tastes of the tour. The food was amazing. When I get home, we will have to try to make some of these dishes.

Nice tour around the old city with variety of traditional foods degustation

A nice tour around all town with variety of traditional foods degustation. The car picked us at the hotel, drove to the bazaar where we took the reekshas and went from one street food point to another, listening to stories from the guide. The food was tasty, the driving in the center of Delhi is crazy ;) but all in all that’s a worthy thing to experience!

Old Delhi the markets, food, architecture, history was fascinating, and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Singh is very knowledgeable, and was an excellent tour guide. Ashish was our driver. It’s such chaos with the crazy traffic we greatly appreciated his skills.

We spend a wonderful afternoon with Vikram exploring the bustling streets of Old Delhi sampling the incredible traditional Indian dishes. Vikram cherry pick the very best eating places knowing the owners only serve food of the highest quality. A food guide in Old Delhi is essential if you don’t want the ‘Delhi belly’ and Vikram is the best.. A throughly enjoyable afternoon.

brilliant tour around old Delhi. Vikram was a great guide who shared his knowledge and took us to so many amazing street food places. the food was fresh and delicious. a really good introduction to flavours and dishes. it's a totally bonkers city, loud, colourfull and bibrant. The rickshaw ride took us to places we couldn't get to by car. the best introduction to our 1st day in India -highly recommended!

Great experience on the ‘helicopter’ bike rides. Nice foods. One was very spicey. Great parantha. Kind guide, great job everyone.

Delhi food tour

The food and heritage tour of Old Delhi was amazing. We got to experience the atmosphere of the streets with the amazing smells of spices and food. Along the way we were told history and facts about the places we went to. As tourists we would never have been able to emulate this experience and try all the types of food we did - we left the tour full. Our guide Shobhit was knowledge and friendly.

Fabulous private and personalized history and food culture tour of Old Delhi!!

A superb tour guide Vikram Singh - who expertly navigated the alleyways of old Delhi to showcase the history of food- and driver Gulbir Singh who was perfectly on time and drove us from aero city downtown and back. Vikram was knowledgeable and helpful to find the perfect foods. He has. A great command of Indian history and is an enthusiastic guide. I could never have experienced what we tried without him. We were also super lucky to have the festival in the old market where we saw floats and marching bands. I’d highly recommend this tour and these gentlemen. As a solo female traveler it’s always a treat to find such a great experience.

Best Samosa ever!!!!

Loved the food tour, old delhi is a smorgasboard of flavors sounds smells, it would be impossible for a tourist like me to navigate on my own, I loved the tour our guide took us to amazing places. The best samosa I ever tasted, thank you enjoyed every min of it.

Amazing Immersive Experience

Amazing food tour. Our guide Gautam went above and beyond to immerse us in the culture and food of Old Delhi. Not only did we try some delicious sweets, samosas and traditional Indian bread, but we were also given the chance to visit and eat at a local Sikh Temple which was an amazing experience. Our chauffeur Gulbir was also great, punctual and provided some insight into some of the landmarks on our drive to and from the tour point.

Ultimate walking food tour

Excellent. Gautam and Gulbir (our chauffeur) took excellent care of us on our tour. Everything was taken care of...we were delighted with jalbi and kulfi, barate, breads, chickpeas and samosa. A highlight was stopping by the Sihk temple feeling blessed.

A wonderful introduction to stepping into the spices if Old Delhi

Excellent introduction to the delightful bustle of Old Deli. Spices, Street food, chai, ices and tutu rides. Walking the street, emerging into a wonderful exotic world of narrow passage ways and street vendors. Beautiful sari shops a exquisite jewellery shops. We were fortunate to go on a Sunday evening when family were embracing the area. Whilst the streets remained humming with the sounds of india , the air full of delightful spices and perfume. Our guide Mr G SONI took us on a delightful journey unfolding the history of the area and its people. We felt most welcome and fir a few hours part of this amazing world. Thank to an excellent personal guide.

A must do

Mr G Soni was my guide. He did an amazing job. His knowledge of old Delhi and the history attached to the locations was outstanding. As a first time trip to India I felt safe and well informed about what was happening every step of the way. The food was great, and again the knowledge was there. We went and saw the spice.markets, a sari shop and an old tea shop were i fonally caved a brought something. The tea smelt amazing. I would highly recommend this tour and specifically this tour guide. Would gladly use him again for a return trip to delhi. Thank you for a wonderful experience:)
