Night tour of India

We really enjoyed learning a lot about Delhi that we didn’t know. The service was easy to book and the driver was really great. The tour guide happily answered all our questions. As two women we felt very safe

First time Delhi

The driver was on time and the car was very clean he had snacks and water. They only have a cord to charge their phone, it would be a nice add to offer option to charge while out taking photos. The guide was friendly also but mostly the driver and guide talked. Visiting some of the religious sites it was not clear if I needed to do the same gestures. The end of the night was a high pressure sale of anything which made it awkward. If I wanted shopping I would book that instead of sightseeing. I would not book this tour again not because of the guide or driver just based on the experience

Delhi Night Tour

Thoroughly enjoyed the night tour. Highly recommend visit to the Sikh temple. India gate and presidential palace glows with vibrant colours at night. Our driver, Gurmeet Singh, was very pleasant and accommodating. Very skilful driver and has good knowledge about Delhi. Very good tour within a short period of time.

Wonderful

Went on the night tour at New Delhi, it was a wonderfull and interisting experience. The tour guide was very Wellcome informed and very Nice. The driver was also very nice and supportive. I recommend it.

Great evening out

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I got into Delhi a little later in the day and it was nice to have a little something for that evening. The lotus temple closes at 5pm so didn’t see that but immensely envied the other two temples. Just be prepared be you’ll be visiting a garment place for your “shop-ortunity” Still great fun!

Umesh and Ravi are a must on this Tour!

Ravi and Umesh were ultimate professionals: I was delighted that an option to be collected from the hotel I was staying at during my visit to the capital was a possibility due to the efficient yet succinct communication with the tour operator. We travelled to various world famous sites, which excited me. Enthralled by what could potentially be an exhilarating experience, I leapt at the chance to book such a tour. Umesh was a wealth of information; he didn't go into long breaths of text verbatim, but enough to keep you enticed. Ravi was such a great companion to Umesh as the driver. We stopped for food and beverages outside the Gurdwara, which was delicious and a much needed pit-stop. The highlight of my tour was to see the capital at night. An opportunity not to be missed and if you can ask for Umesh and Ravi, please do! I have recommended this tour to all of my friends and family. Thank you for making my trip all the more pleasant.

Delhi By Night

The views were really pretty, we got so many pictures and videos! All of the lights made everything look amazing. We saw some very cool places, and found out cool things about each of them!

Delhi in a different way

Disappointing

Our tour was to start at 7 and last until about 11 and drop us off at the airport. Our flight was at 3:20am so we didn't want to arrive too soon at the airport and this seemed perfect. However, it was requested that we start at 6 which was before dark and the point was to see Delhi with the night lights. Since we were in Old Delhi, we figured it probably would be dark by the time we got to significant places anyway so we agreed. But that would mean an earlier drop off. The guide asked us where we wanted to go... not familiar with what all there is to see and what is nice to see at night with good lights, I found his question odd. We told him that we had been to some places on a day tour and he seemed to think that we had seen everything already so there wasn't any point to go back to them. We managed to go to India Gate and that was very pretty and enjoyed the changing lights. We had been to the Sikh Temple but we told him we would like to see it at night. It was a great experience as he was able to take us to spots inside that we didn't see on the other tour. We went to the area where 2,000,000 people per day are fed and watched them prepare the food and serve it. Fascinating. We sampled some of the coffee and it was delicious. After that, he wanted to end the tour and have the driver take us to the airport. We managed to convince him to drive by Birla Mandir Temple but then he left. We ended up at the airport at 8:30 -- hours before we could even check in. That was not what we had booked or planned for. It probably was the most expensive trip to the airport. I know the tour description says it can be customized but I hardly think I should be required to determine what is important/beautiful to see at night in a city I've never been to before. That's what I depend on the tour company for. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend this tour unless you know what you want to see and that you actually will get a 4 hour -- from pick up to drop off -- tour.

Authentic Tour of New Delhi

Night Tour

The night tour was disappointing. I wanted to take photos at night. Could not take them near the palace, the India Arch was from across the street, and the beautiful Mosque, no photos. The guide however was very nice. Tour lasted a little over 2 hours.

Excellent, Interesting, and Safe Experience!

I booked this tour during a long layover in New Delhi and was not disappointed! Rahul picked me up from the airport and navigated crazy traffic like a pro while Hardeep provided me with a verbal library of interesting history. Even though we visited some popular places, I got so much more out of it than just a cheesy tourist experience that I would have had alone or maybe with a different guide. The Presidential grounds were truly impressive, as was the Gateway of India and the surrounding park, which was packed even on a weeknight with local families, couples, and tourists. My favorite experience, however, was our long visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. What an incredible place! Thousands of people were eating together for free, as they do all day long every day off the year. We also toured the kitchens and spoke to a designated guide about the philosophy behind this ritual. The entire experience was an interesting peek into the Sikh religion and one I won’t forget. Something unexpected that happened was that, at no fault of Rahul’s, another car recklessly collided with our car. Both Rahul and Hardeep remained professional and composed the entire time. I said several times throughout the trip that I was impressed with Rahul’s driving — he drove safely and navigated the roads like a pro. I was in good hands, even when another driver was negligent. After the tour, Hardeep had plenty of great suggestions for things to do. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do those things because of my long day and busy travel schedule, but I appreciated them anyway. All in all, 10 out of 10! Thanks, guys!

Rahul the Delhi guide was Awesome!

The Delhi night city tour was cancelled due to my flight delay (due to heavy fog) that evening. However, my guide Rahul kept me informed regarding delays and closures in Delhi also. He also generously helped with the tour refund process. If there is another opportunity I will seek his expertise.

Sika temple

The sika temple was a very interesting experience. However a lot of the lights were muted due to heavy smoke in the air and some of the sites visited were either closed for the day or in process of closing.

Delhi night tour

It was great! Visiting the Humayun's Tomb at night and without people was a very nice experience. The only thing I think could be improved is communication between the company and guides and drivers. I was waiting for them at the hotel and as they were a bit late I asked the guy who sent me all the details for the trip and he just tell me to contact them directly. I don't think that's a proper answer as the company is in charge of the arrangements and it must ensure to solve any inconvenient. Apart from that the service was very good. Thank you

Delhi night tour with guide Govind and driver RK Mishra

We had a great time during our night tour of Delhi with guide Govind and driver RK Mishra. We had done a day tour of Delhi previously and had seen some of the same sights but seeing them at night was really interesting and different. I'd definitely recommend this tour even if you've done a day tour before. We did see some new sights too like a Hindu temple. Our guide Govind was really nice and interesting so it was really nice to chat with him and exchange about our respective cultures. Our driver R K Mishra was great and helped make this tour very smooth, easy and comfortable. 100% recommend this tour, our guide and driver!

Recommend for those with a long layover

We arrived to the airport earlier than expected. Govind greeted us early and helped us tour around in a short period of time!

Not much sight seeing but informative

A lnowlegeable guide with great information. Don’t expect to see the lotus temple as you get there after gates are closed and only see the top of the temple across a hedge. Also don’t be taken in by the clothing factory- it is actually a shop and before you know it you will be overwhelmed by things to buy- but extremely helpful and willing staff who will show you lots of stuff you didn’t intend to get on a city tour. India gate at night was fantastic. Couldn’t go to the president’s palace either as the road had been closed. Resturant in Connaught place was great. Govin did not rush and very grateful as had my elderly mum was with me. While tour was supposed to be from 5-9 pm we only got BF ack to the hotel at 11:30( the two hours was at the “factory”)

A great way to experience Delhi

This was a great way to see the city, lit up beautifully at night. My guide Narendra was knowledgeable and went out of his way to explain the details, answer questions and show me a few things I wouldn't have know were available to see. (He also went over the top and helped me find a local tailor I could work with.) Highly recommend.

The famous landmarks are all lit up beautifully at night, and gives a nice opportunity for different photos. Our guide, Mahendra, was very good at explaining the history behind the sites, and he and Ravi (driver), were very accomodative of our needs, and were very punctual. Enjoyable trip, thank you :)

Night tour of new and old Delhi

Dilip did an amazing job showing us around and explains what everything was and the history of it. I learned a lot about India. He was super friendly and would take photos for us. I really enjoyed the tour and learning the history behind the building and temples they have.

Great Experience! Very lucky to have Dilip as our tour guide. A young, professional, college educated man with a wealth of knowledge. He was also very good to my elderly mother in law. His knowledge, patience and sense of humor really set this tour apart from other tours.

Great tour to complete your New Delhi visit

This was an amazing tour that I would strongly recommend. We were tired after a lot of walking and visiting in the last two days so we were unsure if we wanted to take this evening/night tour, but we are so happy that we did. The views of the sites illuminated at night were very beautiful. Narendra was a very knowledgeable guide. We ended the tour at the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib house of worship, the experience was amazing, being able to take part of their ceremony, learning about their belief and visiting the kitchen where they make food to feed 15,000 people every day for free, was no less than impressive. I strongly recommend this tour.

Excellent Delhi Night/Evening Trip with Classic Tours India

This Delhi Night Tour and our guide were fantastic. We got so much information about India, the tourist spots, and the culture. We had booked two trips with this company. My first trip to Delhi Night Trip and my second trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra were both fantastic experiences. The driver was very punctual and knowledgeable. Narendra was a great conversationalist and made the ride interesting and meaningful. He was able to make the tale more than lines from a history book. A beautiful city to experience at night.

Great night tour

Lovely experience, too bad it has been raining but our tour guide is really great, helpful and friendly with us. Would recommend to anyone.

It was okay

Couple differences with the itinerary: -Bottle of water: Not included -Four hour tour: Was more like two hours. We ended around 8:15 because the tour guide seemed to want to get home. Or maybe the time was reserved to go to the high pressure textile sales facility. After being asked multiple times and saying no multiple times, they finally agreed to not go. There was another review here where they said in the feedback the high pressure sales was a mistake and they agreed to not do it in the future, but that hasn't changed. My tour guide was just a general tour guide and didn't understand the significance of a night tour, which was seeing certain monuments at night with lights. I had to explain the purpose of the tour and request to go to Qtub Minar, which is the lit up spire in the pictures. This is not a standard part of the tour--you need to customize to go here. You will not be going to all the places in the photos, people have customized and you won't have time to go to all of them in your two hours. Some people have photos going up to the India Gate but my guide just took me across the street. Towards the end of the trip there was high pressure to do the TripAdvisor review right in the car. I told them I am paying you money, why do I need to do work for you. My guide did a good job of telling the history of India, including Gandhi. One of his sayings is "don't ask, don't get." So the guide will ask you to buy expensive fabrics in which he will split the commission with the shopkeeper and ask you to do the TripAdvisor review in the car at the end. Just be firm, people in India seem not shy about asking but they seem to shy away from conflict if you push back. So be firm in what you want, be okay with saying no multiple times to going to their fabric emporium, and you can achieve your objectives. Also do your research on where you want to go first because you won't necessarily go to where the pictures are.

Lovey

This experience is a must in Delhi. Seeing the sunset on some of India’s most treasured sights (Humayun’s Tomb annd India Gate) was a real treat. Though the true pleasure came from having our tour guide Dilip and his driver Ravviv accompany us. They were very kind and knowledgeable, and knew their way around Delhi at night.

Delhi by night

We booked this on short notice and were really pleased with the tour and sights. Bhagwat was our guide and provided a lot of interesting information. We went the night before the G20 summit so some streets were closed but we still were able to feel like we saw some major highlights.
