Four-Day Private Luxury Golden Triangle Tour to Agra and Jaipur From New Delhi

Great way to see India on a first visit

I had booked this tour package via Viator and it was a great way to explore Delhi, Agra and Jaipur on a first visit to India. The tour operator, Keeper Landwey, was very professional, were available via chat to answer questions prior to our arrival in India, and during the tour they checked in daily (by phone or Whatsapp), welcoming any feedback for each day. Things of note were: 1. Our tour did not follow the published itinerary on Viator (or Tripadvisor) exactly so please have a copy to keep track of sites visited or skipped. For example, we did not go to/see Qutub Minar in Delhi and that was completely skipped/not mentioned by our guide. Our itinerary listed transport between the Taj Mahal and parking, instead we were initially dropped off within a five minutes walk to the entrance gate but was driven back to our waiting car that was not in a designated parking lot by golf cart/tuk tuk. If there was nothing really to see at a particular site, our guide would openly inform us as such and since it was hot during our visit so we generally opted out of the sites that weren't of particular value to see according to them. 2. Our driver Vikram was excellent, on time, and very attentive throughout our four day tour. He provided us with small bottles of water throughout the day/drives. The packet lists mineral water and soft drinks are included, though we were only ever offered water. I am unsure if soft drinks were available as published, I did not ask. 3. Our tour guides Krishna (Day 1 - Delhi), Kaif* (Day 2 - Agra), Sharma (Day 3 - Jaipur) were overall good but there were obvious differences in English language ability and the level of service provided. Kaif was by far my favorite, and my family was in agreement with this. He demonstrated his ability to understand and speak in English, providing the history and cultural information at the various sites, helping us purchase admission tickets in advanced and he was more than helpful offering to help take family photos throughout our time in Agra. The other two guides, though remaining friendly and overall professional, Krishna's English was harder to understand to a point it sounded as if some information was repeated multiple times, and Sharma, even after repeatedly mentioned his decades of experience as a travel guide, after meeting with him initially and pickup, told the group he did not know what was on the day's schedule and asked if we had a copy of the itinerary, he sped through many of the sites, but he did help us to buy tickets at some of the sites so that was helpful. Each guide also asked for us to review them after the tour had mostly concluded, and though I see value in providing this feedback, did think it was very tedious to do after a long day of sightseeing especially since 2/3 guides were more persistent in having the review completed so as they could take a photo of the "review submitted" webpage to report back to the company. 4. Hotels: We opted for the five star option and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott (Agra) and Intercontinental Jaipur (Jaipur). The lodging and meals were very good and having meals part of the package was extremely convenient (I enjoyed the Agra hotel's dining offerings more, yet the Jaipur hotel offered a much nicer room). Overall, the tour was good and having hotel accommodations, a private car and tour guides helped a great deal in setting up travel between and lodging in the different cities visited thus avoiding trouble we could've run into otherwise. Ways that these tour listings could be even more helpful is if they included the cost of admissions to the sites, for example, approximating the total value in USD is not the same as listing prices in INR. And of course, please do your research ahead of time, have a copy of the tour package with you to note discrepancies, and note the particular sites that are must sees or ones that can be skipped and carry cash for admission/tips (we were responsible for covering the admission to sites that charged admission and tips for tuk tuk drivers).

Amazing Experience

Our guide to Taj Mahal and all of Agra was Salim Khan. We were so happy to explore Taj and Agra Fort, this place is so beautiful than what you see online. Worth the visir and money. This tour agency Keeper Landwey is very efficient, and Salim is excellent on the historical background. I encourage all travelers to try the Golden Triangle tour and book with Keeper Landwey!

Great introduction to India

Overall this was a great trip. My first time to India and the tour provided me with easy access and made things super easy and comfortable. Ask for Raja as your driver. He’s the best. Made us comfortable for the entire trip. Did Jaipur with Kamran and was really impressed with him as a guide. Knew his stuff, offered us some options to make sure we were comfortable with the trip. He also took some great photos for us. Would definitely book again and would recommend to friends traveling to India

Great tour all around!

Great tour, enjoying our trip with our driver raja all the way from delhi to agra and jaipur, we were very pleased by our guide in jaipur with Kamran Khan, amazing knowledge about the places that we were taken to, def visit Jantar Mantar with him, great knowledge about whats going on around there.

Kamaran and Amaan and Brajesh our guides and driver Dushyant were all wonderful, very informative and pleasant. We learned so much about India. The sunrise visit to Taj Mahal was worth doing! The hotels were all very nice with good restaurants.

A great way to pack in several amazing sites into a short amount of time. The guides, particularly Kaif and Kam, we’re great and they know all the tricks to take the best pics during the tour. The tour really does cover all expenses except lunches. We upgraded to the four star hotels and got great value there too.

Great way to spend a day in Agra

My review is solely based on my family’s trip through Agra and our time with our guide Kaif. Not only was he knowledgeable of Agra history and culture, he was efficient and incredibly professional. We were unable to pre purchase tickets to some attractions bc of issues using Indian websites and he helped purchase tickets for us. He also helped my family with taking some group photos and he had a great eye for angles of the sites. I would highly recommend him if anyone is ever passing through Agra to see the Taj Mahal, Red Fort or other sites in the area.

Harshit Patel was our guide and made our trip truly memorable. Although I was ill on the first day from my country of origin, his ability to continue with the tours, make my second day comfortable, and then remain so accommodating. I will DEFINATELY recommend Keeper Landwey and Mr. Patel to all of my expatriate friends visiting India!

Brajesh and Babban were...

Brajesh and Babban were EXCELLENT! Other than Taj Mahal this was by far the best part of the trip. Love the views from the palaces on the hills andcity of Jaipur. Would recommend for any expats coming to India. Keeper Landwey and Brajesh are a must if it is your first time here!!!

Glad we booked - So far so good, we’ve had 2 very full days

In Agra we got up early to get to the Taj and it’s worth the effort, less crowds for sure and time for photos and to wander before the heat of the day. Kaif was our guide in Agra, very good knowledge and easy to understand. We also saw the red fort and went to have the best Chai I’ve had in 5 weeks in India. We hope the rest of our tour is as good as Delhi and Agra have been. Not the cheapest option but I think is worth spending a bit more as I will only be here once. I’m glad I booked with them..

Man-made Beauty guided by a man who makes himself who is he.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, professional yet personable and a good photographer! He knew how to manage time well such that photos taken for us need not take too long with long queues waiting for iconic photos to be taken in an icon place. Awesome Agra!

Had a lovely time exploring the sights of Agra with Mohd, with Raja driving. It was great to learn about the history of the city and Mohd was thoughtful in taking lovely photos to help remember the day by We are also travelling on to Jaipur and he kindly facilitated a request of mine to stop by Chand Baori step well, en route to Jaipur. 4 day Luxuray tour

Wow! What an amazing time we had visiting the Taj Mahal! Our tour guide today Kamran was phenomenal!!! We also loved Shelly in our Delhi tour! Both very informative and really took their time to explain the history. Also great photographers!! Kamran gave amazing suggestions on where to take pictures! Would definitely recommend

We had a great time doing the tour. Everything was well organised. The monuments were great. On our day in agra we had Arham as our guide who was very friendly and had a good knowledge of everything. The costumer service is perfect and the chosen hotels were great as well. I can totally recommend that tour.

Guides were knowledgeable and spoke good English. Logistics were handled seamlessly and it was an overall smooth experience Be aware that they will charge around $60 USD for entry fees, lunch is not included, and you will be expected to tip everyone you meet. Each day also ended with a visit to a local business where you can buy art/rugs/marble

Jaipur Day Tour for Solo Traveller

The Amber Fort was incredible with stunning views. Jaipur is a gem and we crammed a lot in a relatively short time. Kam was very good at taking photos and giving detailed explanations of all the sites.

Agra Day Tour for Solo Traveller

We spent sunrise at the Taj Mahal, which was a breath-taking experience. We then took in Agra Fort and Baby Taj. Despite the crowds, Faizal never rushed me giving me plenty of photo opportunities and, more importantly, time to absorb the beautiful architecture.

Jaipur city tour

A very good way to see the golden triangle in a short time

The tour was a great experience, we didn’t have much time in Delhi so this tour allowed us to see a lot of the sites. Our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Owais in Agra was a very experienced guide and we really enjoyed seeing the Taj Mahal .Amrik was also a very lovely driver and made the experience very comfortable for us

Great Golden Triangle experience

My Agra guide Tariq is extremely knowledgeable and provided interesting details at Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. He also took many terrific shots of me that will bring back great memories. Vikas, my driver for the entire journey was very nice and considerate. He saved the day for me when I realized at hotel checkin that I had scheduled the wrong day in Jaipur. The hotel and neighboring ones were full. He helped me to get into a good hotel for the evening and was very gracious despite it being my error.

Would have been a Perfect Tour if only it was executed as planned!!!

The Golden Triangle Tour is one of the most popular tours in India offered by various vendors. We booked the Keeper Landwey tour (also offered by same agency under few other names such as Amin Tours). Excellent communication during tour planning. Had same driver throughout the trip and he was humble and never pushy. The hotels we stayed at were nice with daily buffet breakfast and dinner serving pretty good local as well as western dishes. Due to the hectic schedule we were unable to enjoy the hotels as much as we would have liked to. The attractions themselves were fascinating and worth visiting. We would have enjoyed the tour much better if we did it with a less hectic schedule but definitely the tour is a time-efficient way to do as much as possible in a short time. We had different tour guides for each city with mixed experiences in terms of communication, ability to take pictures, pressure us to do the inevitable commission activities for meals and 'so called attractions'. **AGRA guide was the smoothest talker but most unethical and the following are only few examples. The first thing he tried to do was convince us that Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri are both forts and it is not worth going to both. Though we were running late, he even tried to force us to go to a factory which makes handicrafts made by descendants of the workers who built the Tajmahal as it was a 'required part of the tour'. In my opinion he did his best to waste as much time as possible to avoid going to Fatehpur Sikri (saved the agency ticket fees and guide fees)....and he was successful. **DELHI guide: We were picked up from the hotel next to airport by driver who drove us past several attractions on the way to meet the guide at Bangla Sahib gurudwara to start the tour stating that he is given an itinerary by the company and that he can't deviate from it. Then he took us to old city to see Jama Masjid and spent way too much time followed by a Tuk-Tuk tour of old city lasting about 40 minutes (too long, too bumpy and waste of valuable time). Then we drove by the same attractions we passed coming from hotel to meet guide but now with the guide again. This left us very little time to see the main attractions before leaving for Agra. He tried to steer us to free attractions instead of the main and ticketed ones such as Humayun Tomb or Qutub minar. In the end, due to lack of time we couldn't go to Qutub minar. Same opinion as above. Retrospectively the guide should have met as at the hotel and finished the New Delhi attractions first ending the tour in Old Delhi. **Sunrise visit to TAJMAHAL: As romantic as it sounds, if there is any fog the previous day DON’T GO early in the morning. Eat breakfast before going out. Insist on doing a different attraction first such as the fort where you could at least see something. It started lifting around 11AM. A fellow tourist showed her pictures where the Taj was not even visible due to dense fog and her guide insisted on staying with the itinerary. What a disappointment. This is common during the winter months which happens to be the peak tourist season. **JAIPUR: We wised up by now, though a bit too late on how previous guides wasted our time and insisted upfront that we expected to cover the listed attractions by a certain time. The guide complied and was most respectful of our time. He even sent us to a very nice and clean local restaurant for lunch. **TIPS for future travelers: ---Car: make sure the car you are getting is spacious enough. Generally the row of seats behind driver is comfortable for 2 people. The 3rd row is too cramped up for adults of all sizes during long drives between cities. Retrospectively we would have paid extra for a larger vehicle ----Attraction ticket prices: Foreigners are charged a much higher fee, but OCI card holders are charged the same price as local Indians. ----Reviews: Similar to other posts, it was at the least annoying for every guide and the company to be in your face, insisting on writing a review then and there. If there is no need for you to go to their office in Agra, don’t go as it eats up valuable time. ----MY ADVICE: Make sure you set your expectations upfront when you book your tour as well with the guide first thing in the morning. I'm sure there are 'once in a life time' attractions where you could be there forever but unfortunately you have limited amount of time. It is the travel agency and the guide's responsibility to cover all the listed attractions, unless the tourist makes an informed decision to skip a site or two. Bus and Cruise tours do it every day. Don't fall for 'take as much time as you would like to enjoy the place' or these are 'similar attractions so pick one'. Find out how much time you have at each place and stick to the schedule. There is no reason to spend 15 minutes on a bench for the guide to explain the history behind an attraction when he could have done it standing in the long line. Based on how often it happened to us, as well as similar experiences of fellow travelers, attempts to skip attractions appears to be a methodical practice. As far as lunch goes, we did the best in terms of taste, cost and time spent when we insisted on going to the restaurants we had previously researched as opposed to the ones picked by the guides. This could very well be a common practice in the industry but tourists have to watch out. Despite all the above we had a great time in general and the only reason I mentioned above is for the benefit of future travelers.

Day in Agra with Salim Khan

Very nice day in Agra with Salim Khan! We visited Taj Mahal, Baby Taj and Fort Agra. Salim had deep knowledge in history about these places and spoke good English, so it was clear and easy to learn about these places. He also took amazing photos of us and took us pass the lines to make the whole trip more effective. Strongly recommend him :)

Definitely seeing Taj Mahal has been the top highlight of this tour. We have been blessed by our wonderful guide Salim Khan who not only is knowledge about the historical and cultural facts of the places he took us to but he's also a top class photographer and helped us took many memorable pictures to remember our great trip . Our driver Parmjiti was also caring and always on time to pick up up.

We had a great time touring the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort! Owais had great recommendations for picture spots and who to use for a professional photographer at the Taj Mahal! We ha e had the best tour experience for the last 3 days. We had a fantastic time at the taj mahal. It is somewhere we have always wanted to visit and we couldnt have asked for a better tour guide in Salim Khan who was very knowledgeable and an amazing guide to have with us wecannot rha k him enough.
