Golden Triangle

Booked the Deluxe package for Golden Triangle tours. Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Not the best of starts as the hotel in Delhi, The Hotel Sunstar Grand Delhi was poor. If you read this review and book make sure that hotel isn`t on the list. Certainly not up to a deluxe package standard. Breakfast was poor, with very little choice if you are a Westerner and didn`t fancy curry for breakfast. On the plus side the hotels in Agra and Jaipur were very good and the staff in all the hotels couldn`t do enough for you. Our Guide and driver, Ramesh was initially very good and very knowledgeable. The down side was that, he was obviously on commission for taking us to artisan shops, (Marble, pottery, Clothprinting etc), even when told we didn`t want to go ( we live in Turkey and get exactly the same there) to these he insisted on taking us there in the hope of us buying something. There were other issues but when he told us the toll for the Expressway between Jaipur and Delhi so we could catch our flight to Goa, was 2500 rupee that took the biscuit. After checking, the actual price was 500 rupee. This was particularly annoying as we`d already decided to give him a sizable tip, although he barely deserved it. We have informed the company about his actions. Even after all this I have still given the company a 5 star review as the things we did and saw in those 6 days will gladly stay with us for the rest of our lives. Book with this company by all means, as they do push the boat out for you, but don`t get Ramesh as your driver.

Good experience

We booked with Gopal for our tour of the Golden Triangle. Our driver Mr Dinesh Solanki was very kind and patient throughout. We were two girls in India and Mr Dinesh took care of us, even he accompanied us when we decided to go to Bappu Bazar (Jaipur) and we spend almost two hours looking for souvenirs. The accommodations choosen by Gopal were excellent choices (specially the one of Jaipur). I definitely recommend Gopal and Mr Dinesh Solanki. I hope to come back to India. There's a lot of beautiful places and never is enough.

Trip of a lifetime !

This trip was a tour of a life time for myself and my husband and our very good friends. It was so well organised by Gopal. Our driver Venod, guides Vicky, Hamid and Raj were all brilliant and so knowledgable. We all have such fabulous memories of the many sights we seen. Gopal was recommended to me and I would have no hesitation of recommending him too.

A fantastic trip

Myself my wife and two good friends took this trip with Gopal’s company. From the pickup at Delhi airport to our drop off everything was organised perfectly. Our driver Venod was there to meet us, his minibus was clean and spacious. All of the tour guides were fantastic and informative with loads of interesting facts. Accommodation was very good and comfortable. Well done to Gopal and his team for an experience of a life time

Best trip ever

We had the best time on our trip to the golden triangle. Gopal was brilliant and answered every question I had before the trip commenced and when we arrived it was a thousand times better than I had expected. We were travelling with 3 young kids and he made sure it was completely effortless for us. We had a great van that was so comfortable on long journeys, tour guides had been arranged in each place we visited and we didn’t need to think about where we had lunch or what we were seeing because it was all organised in advance. Our drivers Mahaveer and Kumar were lovely and made us feel very welcome during our stay too. Thank you again Gopal for the trip of a lifetime!

Satish was an incredible guide. His very knowledge, Hanuman was good driver. Gopal made my trip memorable. I will carry these memories for a lifetime.

Best tour driver and guide in golden Triangle tours india. We are visit 5 days trip. I'm really feel safe. And learn lot. Gopal made a custom itinerary for us based on what we wanted to see. We truly recommend.

Treated us like maharanis

We are two 60 old grandma form engand. gopal treated me like maharanis, our driver for 5 days himat was very safe driver me around and guide was excellent in jaipur and agra. All the are nice but we like in jaipur more.

Family trip to India

I have been using Gopal, of golden triangle tours India. Vinod Driver and his knowledge is excellent and he is English is good also. Car always clean. And all the guide are very friendly.

Excellent

This was an amazing way to kick off our first visit to India. We saw so many amazing destinations and landmarks in a few days. I appreciated that there was some flexibility in the itinerary and Mr. Gopal from the booking company called us to check in multiple times. Our driver, Mahashveer, was one of the kindest and most polite people we met in all of India during our two weeks there. Mahashveer always made us feel safe and at home. He also had wifi in the car which was a life saver. The admission fees for most of the destinations are not included and neither is the tip. There is a different tour guide at every destination so be prepared to have cash and tip each guide. Also, as Americans, we were not used to the private shopping experiences that are planned along the trip. Normally we would want to browse in a shop independently, but that's not how shopping works in India. The shop owners show you around, tell you about everything, they have to pick things up for you, and if you're not used to that, like us, we found it pretty uncomfortable. We also are not used to bartering on the price, so it just felt like we were getting ripped off everywhere. However, in the end, we realized that the shops we went to on this tour were actually some of the finest shops we experienced all over India. They are expensive and maybe you feel they are overpriced compared to the markets, but the quality was significantly better than typical shops. We definitely would have liked to buy a carpet, or the marble coasters that we saw after visiting the Taj Mahal if we had a chance to go back.

This was good experience in golden triangle area the five days tour we had had a great time and our driver Ashok and especially thanks to Mr Gopal and his team guide Anil and Satish was very good thanks to golden triangle team.

An unforgettable experience

It was a beautiful experience, the places we visited are dreamlike, the Taj Majal mausoleum, the Amber fort with the palace of mirrors, the climb up the mountain on the elephants, all very exciting but the most important thing about this trip was the person who took us Mr. La Khan Singh drove in his car to all those places, whom we highly recommend as a good, respectable, honorable, very punctual person who made my daughter and I feel safe.

We are very impressed with the good organization and support during the trip. Our driver Mr. Vinod spoke very good English, was able to answer all of our questions and was always on time. The selected tour guides also did a good job. Our tour guide in Delhi even spoke perfect German. The absolute highlight of the trip was: Taj Mahal :)
