Private Airport Transfer: Nadi Airport to Hotel

It was okay but not ideal

We were met at the airport arrivals after we got through customs etc. taken to the side and walked to the drivers car/small minivan / like a Toyota estima for our pre booked transfer to our hotel on the coral coast. The vehicle had a strange noise like aircon fan working hard - but also sounded like a broken stereo speaker - the whole time. He did t speak much unless we asked him questions directly, and we were expecting someone perhaps a bit more friendly and forthcoming with info after the great reviews we’d read. Maybe because customs was so slow he was running late ? It took us over an hour from landing to getting through customs and baggage collection etc, which was frustrating - but they did specifically ask us for our landing time, not what time we expected to be ready to depart. He seemed to be in a hurry for something though didn’t drive particularly quickly for much of the trip. The price was great but just not sure we’d use them again unless we had a better vehicle than the one we had.

Hit & Miss (Unfortunately)

I pre-booked Uniquely Fiji for return airport transfers to Denarau through Booking.com for my 5 day trip to Fiji from Australia. Travelling on my own with one bag. The pick up from airport was great. My driver Joe, was there on time, friendly, polite, drove safely, clean car and I had a great trip from airport to Hilton Hotel late at night, chatting to Joe about all things Fiji. This is my 5th visit to Fiji. My return trip, not so great..... I received an email from Booking.com to remind me of my upcoming airport transfer precisely 24 hours in advance. My flight time had changed and when I got the reminder, I realised I needed to be picked up 30 minutes earlier than the arrangement. Stupidly, Booking.com does not allow changes to the booking under 24 hours, so once you receive the reminder email, it is too late to make a change! : ( So, I decide to ring Uniquely Fiji directly at 8.18am (pickup time 7am following day). I spoke to a friendly woman who took all of my details and the change I needed to make and said she'd call me back. She did call me back at 9.10am and confirmed she had changed my booking from 7am to 6.30am and it wouldn't be a problem. The following morning I arrived at reception at 6.20am to wait for my ride. By 6.45am, reception staff at Hilton Hotel were worried and called Uniquely Fiji on my behalf. They were told my booking was 7am and not 6.30am but that the "driver was on the way" anyway. The driver arrived at 7.07am. His van was fine, however his driving was not. Speeding from the minute I got in the van, overtaking a school bus on the wrong side of the road on a blind corner. I have experienced erratic driving in Fiji on other occasions and it's not fun! Honestly, I don't know if I would use Uniquely Fiji again. Joe was great and if I could request him specifically, I would, but if I was to get a random driver, I'm not sure. Luckily I did get to the airport with time to spare but the stress of getting there later than planned is not a good way to end a holiday!

Airport transfer and day trip

Ali was our driver for the transfer from the airport to The Outrigger. On request, he took us to a local store on the way to our accommodation to buy some supplies. On the drive, Ali was so informative about the history and culture of Fiji, we ended up booking a private day trip around the Coral Coast with him during our stay. We travelled as a family of four, and found Uniquely Fiji’s prices very affordable for both the transfer and day trip.

Best family holiday

We have just gotten back home from our recent trip to Fiji, we had Ali from uniquely he was absolutely amazing organised so many meaningful outings and has given us many memories we couldn’t be happier with Ali’s insights to the country and all round how he was would recommend every day of the week Thankyou.

Excellent Transfer Company Uniquely Fiji

I want to congratulate Uniquely Fiji, i booked and used this company for my transfer to the Naviti Resort and back to Nadi International. They were prompt and efficient. Our driver to the resort was very friendly and considerate and stopped us also at a local shopping centre to purchase some water and soft drinks that we required. Their transfer pricing was exceptionally reasonable and i rebooked the return and liasing with the company through the website was easy and not a problem. Great work guys!!

Great airport transfer!

We had a great transport from the airport to our hotel on Denarau Island. There was a cyclone expected that night and our plane was delayed by over an hour. Our driver was still there waiting for us with our name on a sign when we arrived. He took us straight to our hotel with no issues. The price was excellent also!

Easy booking process, great rates

On time every time!

We used Uniquely Fiji three times for transfers around Fiji for our most recent trip. Their vehicles are well looked after and comfortable and most importantly they were always on time. There was no Fiji time with these guys! Highly recommend.

Uniquely Fiji

We were picked up by Sami at the airport for a private hotel transfer and after chatting with him we decided to do an island tour during our stay. We had a 7 & 1/2 month old baby with us so we did a half day tour rather than a full day tour. The tour started with an authentic Fiji Indian breakfast at a restaurant adjacent to the Hindu temple in Nadi. The food was great. Sami then drove us to the beautiful white sand beach at Natadola for swimming and massages. It was a great tour and Sami was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and understanding of our situation with the baby. Our return transfer from the hotel to the airport was on time and our driver was excellent. Highly recommend these guys to anyone visiting the main island in Fiji.

Always on time

Traveling with infant twin boys we needed a prompt reliable service and they did not let us down! Waiting for us at the airport on arrival and early to pick us up on check out back to the airport too! Exactly what you want in a transfer service! Friendly service, safe drivers! Only minor thing was we requested baby capsules for our twins and they weren’t set up and also were too small for the twins to fit in. Other than that I would definitely recommend if you need a friendly timely reliable service :)

Amazing service!

We had the best experience using Uniquely Fiji! We used the company for transfers between airport - Coral Coast / Coral Coast- Port Denarau. Our driver Irfaan (also known as Jim) was fantastic 👏 So kind, knowledgeable and very good driver..we couldn't ask for more. We were so happy that we ended up booking Jim out for a full day, he took us to all "must see" places such as Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple, Nadi city centre, Mud Baths, Garden of the Sleeping Giant and also Viseisei village. It was an amazing day! Jim also brought fresh coconuts for us, what a service! Highly recommended 👌

Great way to start our holiday

Airport to Natadola Beach return.

Unsure if there was a problem with app when booked as the booking did not have arrival times etc. But contact was made via text and all sorted. Pick up from and to airport was good. We were picked up at 5am for 8am flight. Both drivers were polite and courteous. We would recommend.

Dangerous driver

When we arrived our driver was not there to pick us up. We waited roughly 10 minutes and they decided to have another driver take us to our accomodation. The driver allocated to us decided it was a good idea to drive at 100-110kmph in a 60kmph zone. This was even more worrying when a taxi pulled out in front of us. He was also tailgating a van that was doing speed limit and we felt very uncomfortable so decided to let the driver know we didn’t appreciate him tailgating the van. He acknowledged our comments and then decided to drive appropriately. Would not recommend.

Round trip

Booked this for a round-trip from airport to hotel. We arrived with person holding a sign with out name. The drive was aboit 45 mins and no issues. On pickup the person was on time and ran smooth. Would recommend them any time.

Great service

The drivers we both fantastic, on time, clean vehicles and provided a lot of information to us about Fiji on the long trip. I would highly recommend these guys!

My name was displayed

I was very grateful to have transport waiting for me after a long flight.It was 630 am and just getting through security was taxing.The driver had my name displayed and the car was air conditioned.I was to my location super quickly and as I was travelling alone I felt very safe.It is worth that extra bit of money getting your own car.

Awful!

Would definitely not recommend Uniqely Fiji!!! I am so mad right now writing this post 😡😡 firstly the driver was late picking us up from the airport, no apologies, just an angry snarling driving. I asked him to stop at a supermarket briefly and he blankly refused, part of the reason I booked a private transfer is so that we could do this. He ended up doing it but was very angry about it. Our pickup today, same driver as before, we were waiting on time but the porters at the hotel had told the driver to go and wait around the other side, by the time he came around it was 10mins past our pick up time, as we headed towards his van he said to me aggressively, pointing at my 74 year old mother walking towards us with her walker, “is she going to hurry up, I have to pick up someone from the airport”, I said c’mon mate we have been waiting since the exact pickup time of 2pm, you were horrible to us on the way here and just as horrible on the way back. He then starts yelling at me that he was waiting over the other side and is all the porters fault. He then starts driving at full speed over speed bumps causing my 5 and 7 to be thrown about in their seats. I will not ever use Uniqely Fiji again!

We had a very friendly and knowledgeable driver. Our flight was late and it was a long drive but he went out of his way to put us at ease! Lovely to see the changing landscape with him pointing out areas of interest on the way. Thank you

Excellent transfer service

Cannot fault Uniquely Fiji’s services. We booked them for all our transfers in Nadi and they were always on time and even early. Excellent service, lovely drivers and great communication.

Easy transfers

We used Uniquely Fiji for all our transfers around Viti Levu. The email correspondence was quick and I think the prices were fair. Nox drove us around most of the time and he was great- on time, very friendly, and informative. The other driver we had was 15 mins late to our pickup, but he was also very nice. When I called the office to check if he was coming, I got a prompt response.

Reliable, affordable transfers.

We booked a trip to and from our hotel. Both drivers were friendly, professional and their cars were clean inside and out. Our driver was a little late when we arrived at the airport in Nadi but apologised prefusely and it wasn't a big deal at all. Both drivers were safe on the road and answered any questions we had. Would recommend for reliable, affordable and friendly transfers.

Affordable private transfer

We booked a return transfer from Nadi to Intercontinental. The driver arrived on time and was very friendly, polite and professional. We opted in for an SUV, both vehicles were nice and clean. A child seat was quite old which was the only downside, but still giving it 5 stars. Very reliable and affordable transfer option, the driver was very careful on the road and we felt very safe.

Great alternative to expensive big company transfers. Can’t speak highly enough of this efficient business. Originally booked via booking.com for arrival transfer, which went without a hitch. Booked direct for return transfer. All throughout the communication was prompt and clear. You can feel confident booking with Uniquely Fiji. I’m an ex travel agent so quite fussy on these things.

This transfer can be trusted!! I know it I hard when you know nothing about where you are travelling to and getting there and thinking will these guys turn up? I have been there... in different countries !!! They will turn up and with the most amazing service. This company is amazing and half the price of others . The car was great, the advice was great and they will stop at a shop on the way- if you want. This is worth booking even if just to save money. I was a solo traveler, a bit uncommon in a resort, but knowing now...it is a great company. I got a solo transfer and felt safe and comfortable.

Our driver (I think his name was Jim), was excellent, he met up with two tired passengers and in no time had us feeling relaxed and ready to start our vacation. Our transfer was good value, he was a safe driver with good restaurant recommendations. I very much recommend this company for drivers in regards to local tours etc.

On time, well-priced and friendly

We used Uniquely Fiji for three transfers during our time in Fiji. After initially booking via an online middleman, I booked directly with MJ via WhatsApp for the following two transfers. Irfan, our driver for 2/3 journeys, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Vimal was also very warm and welcoming. We were very satisfied with the journeys, the price, and above all the customer service. Should you require a transfer in Fiji we firmly recommend Uniquely Fiji.

Amazing service - great price

We used uniquely Fiji for an airport transfer and for a return trip to Natadola from Denerau. The service experience from end to end was awesome. The people in the office that were helping sort out a booking that I had mucked up, and dealing with a couple of time changes that we made, to the drivers who went out of their to be helpful - everyone was just so helpful and engaging. I can't speak highly enough of the service and their price was very competitive. A winning combination! Would book with them again

The price was great and the booking and communication was easy. We booked two car seats - 2 and 4.5 year old. Since we were given a van we could’ve done without the booster for the older one. If your child is tall you won’t need a car seat. Otherwise everything was great!

110% recommend

Both drivers we had were fantastic and happy to share places to go and visit in Fiji while we were going to and from the airport. The car was really clean without any dents in both drivers were very safe. Would highly recommend for families with children where safety is paramount. When we arrived at the airport they were waiting for us with your name on a piece sign and even gave us necklaces before we got in the car.

Terrible Service

The company was a no Show at our Hotel. Had to get a taxi to the airport at 3 times the price. Rang the company to try to find out what was happening and apparently drive got lost.
